Timber stepped out of the trees into the clearing. she was sure she had smelt another wolf here. she shakes it off and turns to her surroundings. the trees that laced the edges of the clearing were iced with snow. the snow beneath her paws was crisp and untouched. she smiled to herself then went to a large rock in the middle of the clearing. she jumps up gracefully. she places her front paws to a smaller stone on top of the big on. she tilts her head back and a soft howl escapes her muzzle.

Tundra pads on silent paws to the forest, that is forbidden to pack wolves. He dare step in to it, and awaits danger. he flicks his ears back and forth, and sniffs the air. nothing. he sways his head gently, and smells a female wolf. he smells the ground, making his nose twitch from the cold, and keeps walking to find his meal.

the icy wind tugs at his long fur and he feels like he is going to be torn from the earth. he starts to run, his long legs stretvhing to full length. He is the fastest, and tallest male. he vagualy remembers being in a pack; they always challenged him. he always towered over the other males. he was the fastest and could kill a moose on his own. he even challenged a large male bear once, the bear accepted but fled when he bared his teeth. Tundra still remembers that oment, and chuckles now and then.

he glances at a small wolf pup to his right. he turns his head and the pup cowards under his shadow. Tundra chuckles. "Dont be afraid little pup. I won't hurt you." he said kindly, and snapped a rabbit clean in half with his sharp teeth. he nudged the rabbit to the little pup. "th-th-thanks." the pup said gingerly. Tundra nods, "do you have a name?" Tundra asked cocking his head at the pup. "Fa-fa-falory s-si-sir. please dont ea-e-eat me!" the pup wined. Tundra's eyes widended in disbeleif. was evcery one truley scared of him? was he really that scary? " I am Tundra. and i wont eat you." Tundra said to the little pup. "promise?" she said. "promise." ha said. "my mummy will be waiting for me. i have to go. bye bye tundra!" Falory yipped and ran to the bushes.

least she is not scared of me. Tundra thought to himself.

Timber owned this land with her small pack, consisting of her as alpha female, a beta and 4 others. Her mother had abandoned her once she challenged her father for his position as alpha. She won but couldnt face the guilt of it. She ran and started her own pack. 'No, I am not afraid. I dont fear anything it isn't good for my pack.' the wind continues to blow icy air through her fur but she ignores it.
