Morra walked through the bookshelves carrying several books in her hands " now you go here and you here" she said as she set the books in there rightful place " your down here , your here " morra was walking without looking where she was going and she walk right into a support beam, the books went up in the air and she to the floor.

Yama stopped when he watched someone walk into a beam and laughed to himself, he walked over and held out a hand to help the person that fell over up "Need any help?" Yama smiled and Bobo yawned looking around. "Bobo don't you dare steal anything while in this library if you do I will tell Captain Hawk and she will not be very happy with you"

"I won't be very happy with Bobo for doing what?" Captain stood behind Yama and laughed as both Yama and Bobo freaked out "Bobo don't steal in the library ok that isn't a good thing to do." Hawk handed the letter to Yama "Read it Yama"

Yama took the letter and started to read it as Hawk walked over the person who fell over "You should watch where you are going so that you don't end up walking into more support beams"

Malik answer quickly " well it was tall. dark skin almost black, its eyes glowed with a blood red color to them. The demon was fast... so dang fast. the strangth was formidable..... now that I think it was quite brainless all It did was attack with no self preservation, it would kill it self if it ment ki9lling us. " malik thought to Cruth " Thats why where heading this way to the city of Ebar... to find some answers on what kind of magic that could makwe a demon do such things" The sky had darkened sence they left and the moon was full still a few clouds in the night sky " where almost there he said to everyone as he looked back at them, taking a good look to see if they where all right.

Morra took Yamas hand looked at the woman infront of her " yah I should ..... I was not thinking, I was trying to get all these books to the place and start all over again" she stated " I am a librarian here " she took a bow " My name is Morra Saji and I'm at your service.... is there anything I can do for you" she asked

"Nice to meet you Morra" Hawk bowed her head "I'm Captain Hawk and he is my first mate his name is Yama and the monkey on his shoulders name is Bobo" Hawk looked at Bobo making sure the monkey was still on Yama's shoulder. "Also what do you know about demons?" Hawk turned towards Yama "Yama please read the letter out loud"

"Dear Captain Hawk, I regret to inform you that the ship carrying Lord Phillip of the house of Trovendawn was attacked and raided. The few survivors that didn't go mad said that a demon attacked the ship and killed most of the people aboard. Lord Phillip fought trying to make sure everyone else could live. He was stabbed over 40 times before he finally fell to the ground dead. Which means your wedding as been postponed indefinitely. I also regret to inform you that your request for yourself and your crew to become privateers will take longer than was originally thought. From Lord Phillip's adviser Sebastian. Ps I am truly sorry about the loss of your fiance" Yama handed the letter back to Hawk then sat down staring at the ground

"I came here to find books leading me to tombs of my ancestors to get heirlooms for your wedding." Yama stood up "I'm still going to those tombs but I will hold onto the heirlooms until you find someone else to love and get married to"

Hawk turned back towards Morra "I wish to seek revenge against the creature that has caused much pain to myself. Do you know anything about demons?"

Morra tought for a minute " demons..... demons " she repeated " the last known demon attack was before Sephia took rule " she stoped to think " their powerful things... ranging in size, speed and power" once again she stoped " they easiest way to kill a demon is through eather divine magic or a relic of the same power.... but those things are far and few inbetween" Morra started to pick up her books one by one " they have no sence of honor,pride, or love all they care about is killing. they feed off of us be it are body, are soul, or are magical energy" Morra looked at Hawk "sorry thats all I know about them...." she smiled hoping that Hawk might do the same.

Hawk cursed under her breath. "Thank you for you help, though sadly I don't have any divine magic nor do I know anyone with any divine magic, neither do I have a relic of the same power." Hawk turn to Yama "Yama by any chance does one of your heirlooms have any power that matches divine magic?"

"Possibly but I doubt it, my grandfather might have some divine magic but I don't have any magic in my blood" Yama thought for a moment "I doubt that my human side has any magic they were all sailors. But I can look through these books again to see if they do have anything that can help"

"Thanks Yama" Hawk sat down "Life just won't make this easy for me will it?" Hawk laughed "Well then this is going to be a good adventure then...But I can't do this by myself or with just Yama, my crew wouldn't work either they would just end up getting killed if they tried to fight a demon." Hawk sighed "I need help if I fight a demon but who would help a Pirate captain and her first mate?"

" I'll help " she said looking at Hawk with a smile " for the holy relics I think there might be some in the labyrinth... but it woould be very hard to find, i'm gessing that they are at the center of the third floor down there" she looked at them both with much glee " I know my why down there for at least a little bit, but if is gaurded by beasts and mosters at all time you could run into something at any time and any floor. If your up to the test we could go get them... if you want" she said with a bit of a giggle.

Hawk laughed a little "You are a very strange librarian saying that you will help myself a pirate captain and my first mate seek revenge against something that might not even be real." Hawk thought for a moment "How do you know that you can trust me? Or trust my first mate? And how do I know that I can trust you? Also these monsters that you spoke of how dangerous are they?"

Yama sat down and started to look through the two books he grabbed from before. "Another thing you might want to add. Is why do you want to help us?"

Morra was a bit confused " Why wouldn't I help someome in need, it doesnot matter what you are If someone needs help i'll be there ready to do my best... that is my duty" she looked at the ground then back at Hawk " you can't trust me because you do not know me and the same goes for me " Morra smiled "the monsteer are quit fierce, strong , and a hell of alot quicker than you normal person.... but nothing I cant handle" she chuckled abit " I'm not just a librarin i am a fighter as well "

Malik and Ren pored over book after book with not luck " there has to be something I am missing, something I over looked .... what is it " he got up and opened a near by window. when he did his bird came bak to him with a note " whats this " Malik opened it" he begins to read to himself " Malik I under stand whats going on And I know of something that might help you out. Meet me in the Dancing Mare inn at midnight. you'll find it in the red light district, its that last shop on the left" malik ripped the paper up and tossed it away. Grabing a quill and paper he wrote a reply and sent the bird on its way " some the Dancing Mare is it... this should be...... well different.... why the red light district

Hawk smiled and laughed "Well Morra lead the way but I did have another question for you. What do you know of the Noble Elven house of Felagund?"

Yama stood up "In other words you would like to know more about my family Captain Hawk?"

Hawk smiled "Yes Yama I would like to know more about the Felagund house. I know about your human side, Geshod know for their great sailors the greatest one of all lived 100 years ago and was the only know able to navigate through the dragon's teeth, the most dangerous part of the seas and using his maps the crew of the Red Wind as been able to do the same."

Yama picked up the books he was reading "Why are talking about my father and my family why do you want to know more about them Captain?"

Hawk turned to Yama "Because Yama I would like to know what kind of heirlooms they would leave."

"Felagund is know for their blacksmiths, they have made some of the greatest swords know for the past 500 years, that is sadly all I know of Felagund."

Hawk turned back to Morra "Well I just gave you all of the information we know of those two noble houses. Can you tell us anything else about them?"

Morra looked at them both " the Felagund Family... yes they do work with blacksmithing and they supply the City gaurd with all their weapons. If I am not mistakin' they own an estate here in the city.... not the biggest one but still. They hold alot lot of sway with a chuch of the Five lawful gods. Thats all I really know " Morra looked at the ground then Back that the two infront of her " we need to go to the south end of the first floor to find the entrance to the lower floors"

Malik looked up that the hole group " so were all here.... I still not quite sure on how its done but this book" he slides a book acrossed the table "Magic From The Shadows.... keeps giving me a reference to another book.. Called the Demons Grimoire but I can not seem to find this book.... eather they dont have it.. or they have it hidden " Malik tried to keep his voice as low as he could.

Hawk smiled "Alright lead the Morra."

"It would be unfortunate if I was to bump into my grandfather in this city, cause he would have my head in a second" Yama held his neck and sighed "Now we are going to search for relics that can fight a demon cause one killed your fiance. By any chance did you find out what this demon looked like Hawk?"

"I was able to learn about a demon that was said to be in that area. A creature that has six arms bigger than a bear and was covered in black or in darkness, but the chances that is the one I'm looking for aren't high cause there are from what I understand demons dotting the land."

Yama sneezed "Well this is a fine mess we've gotten ourselves into. Let me guess we are going to have something bad happen sooner or later that will prove me correct"

Blue smiled at the compliment. " Lets go see who we can find. " he said as he began leading the group over to the nearest librarian. He had to look around a couple different shelves that lined the racks to find someone that looked the part, and he finally found a group of people that seemed to be talking to the librarian. He walked up to the woman, group in tow and began a conversation.

" Hi, do you think you could help me with a little dilemma?" he said with a smile as he caught the attention of the 5' tall black haired girl. She was talking to two odd people. With the librarian was a man with red hair and an eye patch, and a tall red haired woman with two swords strapped to her belt. They both seemed somewhat shifty, and Blue knew to watch his money pouch, for these two would not think twice before stealing, although he doubted they would go for a target such as a knight of the sword.

" We were wondering if you knew anything about a book called The Demons Grimoire. We are on a very important quest and we need to get the information from that book, the only problem is we can't find it anywhere and we heard a rumor that some books were stolen from this library. Is there any way you could help us find this book so we can be on our way with this quest? "

Morra Was about to show Hawk the way when a young man with Blue eyes " Yes of corse I can help you with is ... yes some book were stolen from here, but we have found just a small hand full.... the Demon Grimoire was one Of the Books taken a while ago. The funny thing is that the Grimoire was only a copy with spells that were deemed to dangerous to allow the common person to get of hold of, were tooken of of the the of of the book when the copy was made. so long story short the person who took couldn't summon a full fledged demon even if they tryed years and years with no luck" Morra looked at Blue and smiled " you look like you can take care of your selves " she said looking at the as a hole " the book is kept safe in the Labyrith hidden underneath the library... I was going to take these to lovely people down there right before you came over and I sure that a fue more will make are Quests a bit easier for all of use"

Malik looked around " Yes I sence an odd aura but... It is hard to pin point where it is coming form " Malik looked at Kael and smiled " but I think they will come to the light in their own time "

" It has been a long trip. " Blue said to the group, making sure all could hear. " Maybe we should get a good meal and a nice rest at the inn before we go on this dangerous mission. You never know what we could find under the library, and it would be good to rest up before then. We could get this man a drink and we could all have a delightful meal on me. What do you all say?"

"That, sir, is a brilliantly good idea." Thalin agreed cheerfully, swinging an arm around Tanis's shoulders, part to keep himself standing and part because Tanis had coins that could buy a healthy amount of drink, if Thalin could convince the half-vampire. "It is always good to rest, eat and drink before taking on a paying adventure."

Morra looks at Hawk and yama " It would be in your best interest as well if you both get some rest as well... we shall leave in the morning " Morra smiled " drinks are on me you two " Morra fallowed the group and hoped the other two would fallow her as well.

Malik felt something that made his heart raise, so he stayed behinde waiting for them to leave his sight. " I have to find out something.... I am sorry for getting you all in to my mess, but this.. " malik opened a near by window " I need more answers... I need to stop this " he added as the flew out the window. Malik soared through the air " where are you.. where " all of a sudden an dark aura over came him and he fell to the ground landing in a back ally the was very dark and damp. " show you self monster "

" monster... monster.. look whos taking.... murder" the voice chuckled

" shut it, shut it... I am not " malik said as he stood up, as he stood chains of darkness rapped around him , making it impossible for him to move

" really... you killed me!! " the voice screamed as her showed himself.

A lich now stood infront infront of Malik and the Cleric could do nothing to stop him. " What... I did not such thing "

The lich laughed " you did and now you will bend to my whim "

" I will do no such.. I will never bend to your whim "

" you will have no chose in the matter..... your power will be mine now " The lich set a necklace around him and begain chanting in something that does not make sence to malik.

Malik could do nothing to stop him " the has to be something... but what " Malik thought to him self, in a moment it hit him " I call apon the powers to be, I send these wishes to thee, I ask that you send my power the One , by the the power three.. " Malik did not finshed his spell before he fell to the power of the Evil lich. " what is your wish Master" he said with dead eyes glazed over and a lifeless look on his face.

Blue laughed under his breath when the large, drunken man put his arm around the pale man's shoulder. He thanked the five that Tanis was the one under the smelly man's shoulder and not himself. " Thalin, remind me to pay for you to take a bath. " Blue said as he scrunched up his nose. As he did so, he saw Kael doing the same, right before introducing herself and almost falling. Blue assumed it was because of exhaustion, as she grabbed his arm for balance. He led the group out of the library, thanking the person at the desk for showing them to their friends. He walked down the stone steps, with the large, odd group of adventurers following behind, all but Malik and Tanis. He didn't know where they were going, but he assumed they would meet them at the inn later. They walked past the housing district of the city, asked a guard for direction to the inn he had never been to and headed the way he was informed. As they turned the corner leading to the Dancing Mare, Blue saw a scene outside. Two guards were talking to a large, disfigured old man, which by the conversation he could safely assume the man was the owner of the inn. The guards were grueling the man about recent problems concerning fights he had at the inn and he could tell the owner was not enjoying the chat. Blue walked up to interrupt the group.

" What seems to be the problem here?" Blue said to the two guards. The guards briefly explained the situation, as if to a curious citizen without even looking back to see who had asked. Apparently these guards thought it necessary to punish the inn keeper for the actions of the drunks who had started the fights. Blue looked to the two guards and back at the owner and decided what to do. He showed the guards his KOS badge, and told them that the man had been warned and that they would do no more to harm the poor inn keeper. They seemed disappointed at first, then they left without a problem, which left Blue and the group to talk to the inn keeper.

" Thank you. " Said the inn keeper in a desperate voice. " I didn't know how I was going to get out of that, they wanted to take me to the jail cells, and only for not being able to keep people in line. I even set rules to prevent overdrinking, but it's not easy, you know. Anyway, how can I help you?" he said looking behind the knight at his obviously tired companions.

" Well, we could use food, drink and nice beds for the night, if you would be so kind. " Blue said to the inn keeper as he tossed him his coin purse. " If anybody here would like to pay for themselves they can, but they are all welcome to put the bill on me, take it out of the gold I have there and give me that back when we leave.

The man open the purse and his eyes widened, it was filled with gold. Blue never did quests or jobs for money, although he always seemed to have too much to start with. He wasn't exactly rich, but his family did seem to have enough to get by and then some and he never really bought himself luxuries during missions. He would be happy to spend some of his money on the group, not knowing if he would survive the battles to come. The man slowly led the group into the door of the newly refurbished inn and they all took seats at one of the larger tables in the back corner of the inn.

Hawk and Yama followed Morra "A strange group of travelers don't you agree Yama?"

"Yes I do Captain"

"Morra is right however we should get our rest before going to get these items that we need"

Yama stopped and laughed "I'm not going with you Captain I came for other reasons, and since a group of strangers arrived who look like they can fight showed up I'm going to go to the two different crypts that I was looking for. I leave in the morning after a good nights rest and a good breakfast."

Hawk smiled and put her hand on Yama's back. "Yama after you get these heirlooms you were looking for join me. I have a feeling that I will be traveling with these strangers soon. It seems they want to kill demons as well, if they do I will join them if they don't then I will return to the seas to find the demon that has caused me so much pain."

"Captain how will I know where to find you?"

Hawk smiled "Don't worry Yama you will find me and will know where to find me." Hawk walked into the inn and Yama walked in behind her, they say down and ordered some drinks
