Morra's Story

Morra picked Tanis up and carried him on her pick sliding down the roof and landing softly of the ground " Everyone in the house now!!! do not argue with me now in " she demanded form the ones outside of the inn !!" She kicked open the door and up the stairs to the room the he gave to Malik " here lay down " she pulled over the covers and closed the curtains as well " veryone wait outside..... Malik I'll need your help " she said as she saw him round the corner.

" Yes.... as you wish young miss " malik said as he walked slowly in the room

" what do we do ... ?" Morra asked with much concern in her voice

" Lord Tanis... can you hear me.. lord? " Malik walked over to tanis and pulled his cloak away from his shoulder " you need to feed from me... my blood well give you the strangth you need "

Morra looked at Malik " what are you doing !? " she said with fear

" If you do not want to see this you shouldleave the room " Malik said looking over that shoulder at her

"okay ..I ... I will " she said as she slipped out into the hallway and closing the door behind her

Everything was going fine, until there was trouble downstairs. Blue didn't need to go and check it out, it was most likely a drunken brawl that would soon end, so he stayed in the room and remained quiet. That turned out to be a bad idea. The sounds got louder and spread to outside, where he could then hear people's panicked screams. Blue was about to go down stairs to check it out when Kael flipped out the window in rage. Blue decided to follow, but not out the window, instead he went to the door and down the flight of stairs. Once he got out the front door, he could see a dragon flying above the town. Chaos everywhere, guards scrambling to get to position to take it down, and it seems everyone from the group trying to calm it and save it. He decided to take this time to get the guards to stand down so he went over to the captain. He explained that his group was working on calming the beast and that all he needed was time, and the man complied. The guards did not attack the dragon, on the orders of the Knights Of The Sword, he hoped this wouldn't be a bad idea. Once they got the dragon calm, Morra and Malik took him upstairs and kicked everyone else out of the room. Blue stood outside the room with Kael, Thalin, Hawk and the rest of the group, not knowing what to say.

Malik stood up " I shall leave you now rest up " he said before leaving the room, he slowly closed the door. In a moment an dark aura filled the air " everyone thier is something.... odd close " he said telling the little people people that is still around the inn " their seems to be... some of us missing around here" Malik said looking at morra

" well I go find them " she said walking out the door

" Be safe young one" malik said as the door closed

Morra pick up a pace that she felt was best ofr the up coming darkness. " where are you " she said looking in every place she could think of untill she found them both, she stood far enough away not to be seen by them " I should not butt in.... "

Kael bit her lip and was about to respond when she realised someone was watching them.

"Blue. The librarian is behind us. Maybe...she might know something?" She smiled at Blue.

Blue didn't even notice the librarian, he had to start paying attention. This long without sleep seemed to hurt his concentration and he couldn't do so well without that. He would have to power through the day and sleep when they camped on the journey to wherever they went. " Yeah, lets go ask her!" Blue replied to Kael as they both got up and walked in her direction. They walked over to Morra to ask what she knew about what could put High Dragons to sleep, and if she knew anything about sacrifices.

" Well the olos lillies would put just about anything to sleep.. but I'm not sure if it would put a elder dragon.. mybe a very high dose of the flowers pollen could do the trick.. but it rare and I mean very rare " she took a step back and leaned on a near by tree " now about the sacrifices .... wel they could have to do with a control spell of some sort or a summoning spell.. but I'm not sure an that" Morra smiled " I think we'er being watched right now.... 5 or 6 men hidden around here if I'm not mistaken "

the three had spread out and when one of them had detected a small group of armed men surrounding a group of three people they had decided to take action two women and a knight the knight looked like he could handle himself one of the women looked to be a magic user !


when the armed men made their move thats when the three made theirs the order of dark justice had trained them to be the best all three carried the blood of draco so trust wasnt an issue the three moved in swift order killing all but one of the attackers they would question him first though the three were of different races they worked together as a unit !

Kael shivered slightly, glaring at the ones disturbing the peace. They smelled strange to her and kept to the shadows. Not good company. Turning back to Blue she frowned.

"This is no longer a peaceful and calm place. I'm heading back to the inn. Follow if you wish." With that she headed back the direction she had come.

He didn't need to be asked twice. Blue followed Kael and Morra back to the inn, he wasn't sure he liked their new company either, something about them unsettled him. Why had they intervened back there, Blue wasn't complaining but in this world nothing was free and nobody did anything without reason.

Hawk watched the streets start to clear out. "Something doesn't feel right" Hawk looked around for any signs of trouble and couldn't find any. "Something is wrong and I know it but I can't tell what it is" Hawk walked into the street looking around and walks into Kael, Sir Blue, and Morra. "Sorry about that but something is wrong and I can't figure out what it is" Bobo started to shiver then hide in Hawks pocket. "What could be wrong?"

Blue looked around again after he heard Hawk's suspicion. He thought it was just his imagination earlier when he felt he was being watched, and it wasn't just the three guards (or whatever they were) at his back. It couldn't just be a coincidence if Hawk felt it too.
" Maybe we should check it out, or do you think we should head to the safety of the tavern?" He asked to the whole group.

Bobo popped his head out of Hawks pocket and made some noises. "Bobo says that Yama is missing but what he fails to say is that he left Yama and came back to the city. So Bobo is just a little liar in saying that Yama is missing." Bobo put his head back into the pocket. "Also my name is Captain Hawk. But one of the things that is wrong is most of the people in the city just disappeared I think they might of gone back into their houses but the streets were cleared before I could even blink"

" I'll inform the guards so they can close the city once we leave it and so they don't intervene. We need someone to scout ahead and look for a good spot so we can ambush these demons, so we have an advantage. Your right, lets go to the inn, collect everyone and head outside town so nobody can be hurt. " He was happy Kael was trying to keep the town's people safe, he wasn't sure if anyone else would have planned for that, and it proved that she was getting over her hatred of humans.

" If it's all right with you I'll go with Hawk and inform the guards, then meet you guys back at the inn. " It should faster with just us two and the three guards seem to be ordered to guard you anyway." he said to Kael.

He walked over to one of the three guards and talked only loud enough for him to hear. " If you cause any harm to my companions, I will find you and I will kill you, all of you." It wasn't a threat, he had to be sure they were up for the task of protecting them, and especially her. Once he had confirmation that the guard had understood his intention, he began to leave with Hawk to the nearest guard tower.

" Yes we need to mmove this outside the city " Morra took ten or so stepes back " Well we are going to need help... let me call some " The same spell circle appered on the ground as the time before " I call on the spirits once agin, Come to my aid " orbs of light appear around Morra and the circle " I call apon the spirit that dewls in the sun, the guardian of the heavens flames" the wind begain to pick up more and more surling around her. "Come forth to my relm, cross the gates of reality and answer my call. Suzaku, guardian of the South, the golden Phoenix." The wind stops and a fire surrounds her. As fast as the flames apeared the dissapeared and a gaint Phoenix infornt of Morra.



" Why do you call me mrotal..... What do you want " Suzaku said

" I wish to make A contract with you... " morra steps forward and sets a hand on th bird head

" you heart is storng, yet kind, positive, yet full of anger... I deem thee worthy.... Call apon me any time child " Suzaku disapeared in a burst of flame, A sword was left where the phoenix did stand

Morra fell to her knees and sat there for a moment before grabbing the sword " I gess theirs no reason to keep this from you any longer I am a guardian.. I use power from sertain spirits that I make a contract with to protect this land from what ever my show up " Morra starped the sword on her back.

"Tanis sent you to.. get me?" Thalin asked incredulously, his anger rising, preparing to brutally punish the obnoxiously laughing orc. Thalin's lips curled into a menacing snarl, he was going to rip the insolence right out of--
"Ved!" Thalin exclaimed, watching in astonishment as the elf strode into the room, hearing the familiar voice, the high-elf off-handedly polishing a gleaming scythe. The tension drained from Thalin's muscles and he stood, grasping Ved's forearm with a wild smile. "Fight beside you, anyday."
Thalin shot a feral look at the orc, venomous, eyes promising retribution. His logical mind tried to tell him he should be grateful to the orc, but his insulted side was louder and it swore vengeance, even if in a small way.
He turned back to Ved, wiping the insolent orc from his mind, "Tell me, do you always have to show up when I'm in for a chance at fame and fortune? Did you learn to tell the future aswell and not tell me? Or is it that you can't resist the trouble I get you into?" Thalin hitched his scythe onto his shoulder and walked with Ved down the hall, down the stairs and into the bar room, where he stopped behind Tanis and the half-vampire's new companion, seeing Kael and Morra enter. Looked to be everyone gathering up together, this would be exciting.
He crossed his arms and examined Ved with a critical eye, "You seem older, did some lass tie you down and grow you up a bit, or did that maturity you were always telling me about finally sink it's teeth into you?"

Malik walked out from the back room behind the bar " Well we seem to have just about everyone" He sat down drinking a cub of tea " There is more then demons hear now, I noticed some men have been seen around this place watching all of us. They seem not to be much of a threat but I would still keep an eye out for them... The demons I sence are mid level demons " Malik closeed his eyes and took a ddep breath " So Lady Kael what is are plan of action? " Malik opened his eyes but now they where once again deep black.

Morra sat down near Kael and waited for the next move. She was a bit tired from lack of sleep but nothing that she could not handle by herself.

Ved walks over to Kael" I couldn't help but overhear that you need someone to scout the area before the battle. perhaps i would be able to help or rather he would." Ved snaps his fingers and a figure rises from his shadow.

"Shade you are born of darkness therefore you can hide in any shadow is that true?"

"Yes sir Ved what would you like me to do"

"If this young lady would like to use you, would you help us look for a stage for battle?"

"If i can eat the dead then my services shall be paid."

"Deal." Ved directs his attention back to Kael," With that settled would you like our help?"

Blue wasn't sure about what he just saw, but things were getting crazy and there wasn't much time for asking questions. He didn't say a word, just nodded and continued there sprint to the inn. The two of them (and the passed out pirate) finally made it to the door, where the giant was blocking the path. The giant, remembering them from earlier, or possibly on orders, let them pass and they walked inside. The group was beginning to gather upstairs in the room, and it seemed they were the last to arrive. Blue quickly explained the new information they found, the fact that there were three creatures now, that they had the ability to turn invisible, and about the rune in the center of town. Tanis let him in on the information that the creature he bound would targeting himself, or Kael which meant that the three of them would have to be the distraction if his plan was going to work. He quickly told the group his plan.

" Ok one of us needs to go and scout ahead outside of town. Once our scout finds a decent place to launch an ambush, the rest of the group will have to be there to pull it off. Myself, Kael, and Tanis will have to lead the three out of town and keep them busy while you guys work. We also need a group of people to go and destroy the rune in the center of town, for I believe that has something to do with these demons and how they are keeping invisible to us. " He looked at the group, two were hurt, one was partly drunk, all were tired, and he still didn't trust Tanis and his guards. He didn't like putting Kael and Tanis in danger, but it was the only way it would work out. He looked at Yama and Hawk, remembering to ask the question. " Can anyone here heal Yama, for I believe we need him for the coming fight. Does anyone have any questions or anything to add before we begin?" he waited for anyone to respond to his question.

Malik walked to the center of the room " as you wish " he closed his eyes " I shall help not just the pirate but everyone here, as of right now most of us are running on just about emtpy on energy " Maliks aura shined softy like candle flowing around the room touching everyone that happened to there, now to cast the spell " all who fight for the name of the light aid me in this act tonight " Malik droped to his knees as his aura flashed brightly, the pirates wounds now no more than a memory, Morras energy had been restored back to its normal, Malik weakened him self to help the other and he hoped that it worked as well as he planed it would.

Yama jumped up pulling his sword out holding his side. "Where are the demons?!" Hawk punched Yama.

"Relax Yama the demons are most likely where you say them last besides you should thank the person who healed you." Hawk turned to Malik "I'm sorry I didn't catch your name what was it again?"

Yama sheathed his sword and looked out of the window "Names can wait till later first I need to know the plan of attack and what my part of this plan is." Yama looked at his clothing "Afterwords I need new clothes these are covered in blood, possibly not even all of my blood." Yama turned around looking at the other people in the room. "Or I could just do something crazy that could end up with my death I don't care."

Hawk punched Yama again "No crazy ideas Yama we are going to do what they have planned."
