The Magi Society is the world's largest and only internal association devoted to magical affairs. Its primary goal is to keep magic a secret from the populous of the world, and to regulate and supervise those of magical origin. Their tasks include suppression of magical threats, as well as the Registration and Ranking of those of magical persuasion.
The Magi Society offers governmental and legal support to magical families, as well as jobs for those who seek to use their magical talents for a living.
The Magi Society is Divided into 10 different "divisions", which each play their own roles within the society. The Following are the 10 divisions and their missions.
-Seers' Division: Headed by Katsuro Kenshin, the Seer's Division is one of the four Combat Divisions. It focuses on repressing threats of the highest magical calibur, and sealing them away.
-Hunters' Division: Lead by Max Westerberg, the Hunter's Division is one of the four Combat divisions. Their focus is on the capture or execution of Rogue Magi under the warrants of the Legal Division.
-Exorcists' Division: Headed by Tomas Collin, the Exorcists' Division is one of the four Combat Divisions. It focuses on the Elimination of paranormal threats through magical means.
-Legal Division: Headed by Lewis Luvelle, the Legal Division focuses on internal affairs and investigations. It handles all normal and magical matters that mingle together, as wells any governmental issues.
-Medical Division: Headed by Yoshirou Moto, the Medical Division focuses on discovering new ways to cure various ailments, and heal fellow Magi from wounds that could otherwise prove fatal.
-Studies Division: Lead by Marion Boucher, the Studies Division delves into undocumented magical anomalies
-Alchemists' Division: Lead by Lester Johns, the Alechemists' division deals with the ethical sciences of the spiritual and arcane, as well as the development of magical tools and the like.
-Social Services Division: Lead by Evelynn Beckwith, the Social Services Division deals with the housing and support of all Magi under the Magi Society.
-Educational Division: Lead by Alastor Duval, the Educational Division deals with the teaching of young Magi from Ranks 7-6.
-Military Division: Lead by Razvan Dionisie Constantenescu, the Military Division's the most financed and largest of the Magi Socitey's Combat Divisions. Their primary focus is on magical warfare, and the elimination of Class S threats.
