It was honestly like any other party thrown by underaged teens with far more access to money and alcohol than they should have.
Much to the chagrin of the staff of the Upper West Side's prestigious Trinity School and the parents who would later admit to being ignorant to their children's collaborative lies and sneakiness, the students of the upper cohort of the renowned private school - contemptuously known as Manhattan's Little Darlings - snuck into the school in the late hours of a 2018 April evening to partake in a nightcap in the college preparatory school's indoor pool facilities. No one can or will say who hosted the party, or provided the drinks and drugs, or even invited the entire upper school. Some say it was only supposed to consist of a select few, others will say they simply saw a text, grabbed the nearest bathing suit available, and hightailed it to a night of underage drinking, debauchery, and socializing.
What happened, as it always happens when these darlings meet up, was pure chaos.
At some point during the night, seventeen year old Aaron Lapierre, arguably the most popular junior if not the most popular boy in the school, got into a vicious fight
with another popular student that led to their party getting discovered and the crowd dispersing, all the teens trying not to get individually captured in the throng of violence and drunken tomfoolery. Most made it home. Some even made it to each other's homes, using one another as an alibi for one reason or another. When Aaron never made it home, no one batted an eye.
And then two days passed, followed by a week, and then...nothing. The police, used to the young man's disappearance acts to purposefully worry his parents or get his way, were lazy in their investigations. Some say that his parents might have been lazy too, beyond frustrated with their son and his manipulations. But then weeks turned into months, and the school year was suddenly over.
And Aaron never came home.

Some are even remarking how convenient that promotion is, especially considering the tentativeness of the boys' bond. How will the teens handle having a stalker in their midst, taunting them with knowledge they were sure was kept under lock and key? How truly perfect are the lives they perpetuate amongst their peers and on social media? How many will survive the storm that's brewing? And what happened to Aaron Lapierre?

1. DO NOT start a sheet unless you know that you're going to finish it and be able to regularly post. I get it, I do - COVID has cast a pall on our everyday lives. Some people have more free time, others do not. Some people are going through seasonal depression as well as COVID-related anxiety/grief/insert-ailment-here. I completely understand and those things are likely to get in the way of completing character sheets. With that being said, accepted reservations mean that you are agreeing to completing your sheet within one week. Granted, I'd provide extensions for multiple characters because I am trying to take into consideration the fact that we all have outside lives (and as someone who is cranking out two characters while in school and working and taking care of my mom, I need time too lol), but I think a week is enough for at least one character, if not two. I'm not tryna start this RP in May lol.
2. As stated before, I'm looking for consistency. Try to keep the flow going when we start posting. Don't have people waiting over a week for you to post again. If you can't post until the weekend, say that so that everyone can be on the same page and not feel like they're waiting for days on end for one scene to pass. It slows the story down.
3. With the above having been said, we will be addressing the aforementioned issues that will steer into the adult world. We're keeping this as friendly as possible, not trying to write an accompanying piece to Fifty Shades of Gray. If you can't stomach the topics touched upon (which will more than likely include, drinking, violence, sex, drugs, abuse of some sort depending on the characters, etc), I'd advise you not join, my love. For those who do join, fade to black when applicable and keep it tasteful.
4. I'm not dictating face claims too much. Your characters are your characters, you have fun with that as you will. However, you and I both know that you're not gonna convince me that Chris Hemsworth is a senior or that Scarlett Johansson is a junior. It's just not happening. Choose who you choose, as long as they're realistic for the age you want to portray. For some, I'll let it go because Ed Westwick never looked like a teenager in any scene and you can't convince me otherwise, but come on now lol. Realistic face claims only.
5. Upon reserving in the OOC, please provide the face claim(s) you wish to choose, your character's classification, and the dialogue color(s) you wish to use. Also, have fun! I know I just gave you boring old rules, but the point of creating RPs like this are to have fun and interact. You are choosing the roles. 2. As stated before, I'm looking for consistency. Try to keep the flow going when we start posting. Don't have people waiting over a week for you to post again. If you can't post until the weekend, say that so that everyone can be on the same page and not feel like they're waiting for days on end for one scene to pass. It slows the story down.
3. With the above having been said, we will be addressing the aforementioned issues that will steer into the adult world. We're keeping this as friendly as possible, not trying to write an accompanying piece to Fifty Shades of Gray. If you can't stomach the topics touched upon (which will more than likely include, drinking, violence, sex, drugs, abuse of some sort depending on the characters, etc), I'd advise you not join, my love. For those who do join, fade to black when applicable and keep it tasteful.
4. I'm not dictating face claims too much. Your characters are your characters, you have fun with that as you will. However, you and I both know that you're not gonna convince me that Chris Hemsworth is a senior or that Scarlett Johansson is a junior. It's just not happening. Choose who you choose, as long as they're realistic for the age you want to portray. For some, I'll let it go because Ed Westwick never looked like a teenager in any scene and you can't convince me otherwise, but come on now lol. Realistic face claims only.
5. Upon reserving in the OOC, please provide the face claim(s) you wish to choose, your character's classification, and the dialogue color(s) you wish to use. Also, have fun! I know I just gave you boring old rules, but the point of creating RPs like this are to have fun and interact. You are choosing the roles.
