Uncharted Island

No longer than an hour ago the Jamison siblings had landed in JFK airport where they awaited flight 209, first class, that was headed to Sydney Australia. The two siblings, Colin the oldest, and Sterling the middle child in a family with five children. The two siblings, who were the closest with each other sat in the waiting room, right outside of the terminal chatting with their loved ones before their flight was called.
"I can't believe this is actually happening. I'm going to Australia, this is going to be the best summer ever." Sterling said giddily to her boyfriend Roman who was two years older than her, but seemingly devoted. Although Roman never proved himself to be a bad guy Colin, Sterling's brother didn't trust him at all especially because of his age. So all the while he sat with a scowl set in on his face, when suddenly his phone began to play "Still in love song" by The Stills.
"Hey babe, it's me." Mimi, Colin's girlfriend of a year in a half said dreamily into the phone.
"Hey gorgeous." He replied, a smile instantly appearing on his face.
"So, how's New York?" Mariah inquired as the boy took a second to become aware of his surroundings.
"Dirty." He said with a chuckle as the voice of one of the flight attendants aired of the loud speaker.
"Flight 209, now boarding." The stewardess said politely as Colin checked his watch.
"I've gotta go Mariah, I'll talk to you as soon as we land in Australia, okay? I love you."
"Okay, get their safely. I love you too." Mariah says lovingly as she hangs up the phone. Colin picks up his carry on and picks up Sterling's bag filled with her favorite photography cameras.
"Come on, lets go before we miss our flight Miss. Photographer, you can't keep the models waiting." Colin said as the girl smiled lightly and said her goodbyes to Roman.
"I have to get on the plane now. I'll call you as soon as I land, love you." Sterling said, whispering the last part so her brother wouldn't hear here.
"I love you too." Roman said as Sterling hung up the phone and proceeded to board the first class plane with her brother.

Nathan walked into the plane with his rolling suitcase behind him and his cell phone to his ear.
" I'm boarding right now, mom, I will call you when i get to Australia now hang up! "
Nathan sat down with a sigh and looked to the girl next to him and said sarcastically "mothers ", the girl replied with chuckle and continued on with her business. Nathan was really excited to go to Australia to see his aunt and uncle because his parents were too busy with their restaurant back in the city. A few minutes later the pilot went on the loudspeaker and told everyone the plane would take off in a few minutes, then the flight attendants went over the basic safety rules but Nathan didn't bother to listen because he knew he wouldn't need to.

"Okay mom! I have to go the plane is boarding!" Zane said as he raced through the airport while on the phone with his mother hoping too make his flight. Zane was excited too be taking this trip to Sydney,Australia because his parents never had time for him at home. They were always so caught up in their work. His dad has his own cooking Chef. Jackson (Kennedy Jackson) and his mother was a fashion designer and they were always with his little sister Zendaya.
"Wait!!" He screamed as he began too sprint towards the door noticing they were just beginning to close it.
"Mom i'll call you later!" He said as he handed the beautiful woman his ticket. As Zane entered into First Class cabin his jaw dropped.
"Wow..." Zane said
"This is beautiful." He added as he slowly walked too his seat. As Zane was putting his bags away he heard the announcement saying the plane was about to take off. He quickly sat in his seat and he looked blue in the face. Zane never flew by himself or out of the United States so he was a nervous wreck. He turned off his phone turned off his i-pod sat back and began flipping through the channels.

As Roman entered the terminal he noticed a boy around his age running on the plane, obviously late like himself, so Roman quickly showed the woman his boarding pass and hurried on the plane.
"B-24... where is it?" Roman mumbled to him self, as he pulled down his fitted cap farther down on his head so if Sterling saw him, she wouldn't notice it was him.
"B-24, there it is." Roman said with a accomplished smile as he sat down on the seat nearest the window. He looked around slowly, taking in his surroundings, the plane was opulently decorated, and very different from any economy class plane he's been on.
"At this time we need all passengers to buckle there seat belts until the fasten seat belt sign is off. Thank you, and enjoy your flight." The Captain says as the girl who was seated next to him returns to her seat, and luckily enough it turns out to be sterling wearing her finest casual clothing to meet the higher ups of Harper's Bazaar.
"Hi." Roman says casually as the girl smiles politely, and replies, not removing her gaze from the flight procedure manual she was looking at.
"I thought'd you recognize me by now Sterling." Roman said pretending to be hurt as the girl turned to face him, an ebullient smile spread across her face.
"Roman. H-how did you get here?" She said as she through her arms around the boy, and kissed him chastely.
"I had a few extra dollars saved up from work, and a month without seeing you would've been torture, so I bought a plane ticket, and here I am." Roman said as Colin poked his head around the seat.
"You okay over there ster- What are you doing here?" Colin asked in an annoyed tone.
"He decided to spend a few weeks in Australia with me! Isn't that great!" Sterling exclaimed as Colin sarcastically responded, and returned to watch television at his seat.
"Your brother doesn't seem to thrilled." Roman said as he laughed triumphantly. Colin, and Roman had made it some sort of hobby to get under each others skin as much as possible whenever they were around each other.
"He'll get over. I'm just so happy you're here with me." Sterling admitted as she kissed him again more fervently as her brother cleared his throat loudly.
"He'll fall asleep halfway into the flight. We'll resume this then." Sterling whispered as she kissed the boy one last time and looked at the window at the runway as the plane gradually left the rough asphalt and soured into the sky.

Meanwhile a little farther back on the plane Joey sat in her seat watching the newest episode of Man vs. Wild on her i-pad she'd gotten for her birthday. Joey hated flying, but in a couple of hours she'd be off of the plane and in the exotic rain forests searching for exotic creatures, and taking shelter under the starry night sky. Just like she'd done times before with her father before he'd fallen ill and passed away.
Joey's look:


A few hours later the Captain's voice, panicked, and a tremulous aired throughout the plain.
"We are experiencing turbulence, but everyone keep calm we'll get through it in no time." He said, trying to sound assuring, but it came off as ingenuous, completely ingenious. Suddenly the oxygen masks popped out for the compartment directly above the seats.

"Oh my God were going to die." Sterling panicked. Remembering back to a week before when she prepared herself for the flight by reading articles and watching videos on plane crashes and the likelihood of them happening, which she later decided was a terrible idea.
"No were not, we'll be fine. This happens all the time, and people live to talk about it." Roman Re-assured the girl as he pulled her closer to him, and rapped his arms around her.
"Colin do you think we'll be okay?" Sterling asked her big brother, she always looked to him for advice, and re-assurance.
"Of course, we'll be fine. Just hang in there." Colin says as he breathes in and out rhythmically.
Airplane:

Nathan quickly woke from his deep slumber after he heard the captains voice trembling with fear. When he saw the oxygen masks out he quickly put his on and looked beside him to see an old lady who oddly resembled Betty White passed out, he then put on her mask and looked out the window to see the the wing of the plane broken in half on fire and a column of black smoke trailing behind. After hearing a few blood curdiling screams a pound boom came from the back of the plane. Nathan was scared to look back but he had to , so he did, his heart skipped a beat when he saw the bottom half of the pane gone, all he saw was blue sky, smoke and fire hethen unbuckled his seat belt but felt himself lift off the ground so he grabbed the arm rests pulled himself back on the seat and buckled up again. He felt hopeless and confused then a flash came before him a flash of memories with his friends and family of past Christmases, birthday parties, every memories of his life came into his head. Then he thought about how the future would be without him. His parents devestated nothing would be the same. Nathan just clung on to his arm rests for dear life his eyes shut tight, listening to the sound of of the plane going down. When all of a sudden the plane was shaking harder than ever before water, was entering throughe the hole in the back he quickly unbuckled his seat belt again and tied to get up but the plane was moving too much then it jerked upward. Nathan flew up and hit his head with much force then he blacked out.

Zane was in the restroom washing his face when he heard the pilots bazaar announcement he quickly grabbed a towel to dry his face and and began to exit the restroom. As he grabbed at the handle to get out he did not realize that the door was locked. Zane viciously banged on the door as he fell too the floor. He suddenly heard a blood curdling scream come from the next cabin followed by a loud bang. he jumped right up trying to escape the restroom once again.
"Help!!" Zane screamed as he banged on the door once more.
"Heeeeeelp!" He screamed and he continued banging on the door. As the plane began too vigorously shake Zane went flying across the bathroom. and into the wall. As he sat up he realized water entering the restroom from under the door. he got anxious and began to breathe heavily as the water levels began too rise. He quickly scrambled over to the door banging on the door and tampering with the Lock/Unlock button but for some reason it wasn't working as the restroom filled with more water he backed up and kicked the door. He kept on kicking the door until it fell off the hinges, as the door fell off the hinges water gushed into the restroom. As he exits the restroom he notices a boy around his age passed out he rushed over too the boy too see if he was still breathing which he was he then checked the pulse of the old lady that was sitting next too him but there was no response. It was obvious that that she had passed away. as Zane stood up in the water he looked around and the plane shook again causing him to fly into the door of the cabin. Everything soon became a big blur but when he snapped out of it he realized the plane had crashed into the ocean causing the cabin to rapidly fill with water he quickly jumped up as the water rushed too his feet nearly knocking him down again. the plane sunk so low the cabin was completely filled with water. Zane was a good swimmer so he could hold his breathe for a long time he swam over to a girl and two boys and helped them unbuckle their seat belt. they quickly swam towards the exit. Zane swam over too the young boy who was about his age and he took of the boy's seat belt and grabbed him. As Zane began to leave the cabin he noticed another girl come from under the seat towards the back of the cabin he quickly caught up too her. He realized that she was weak as he grabbed her hand and swam up to the surface.

~Day 1~
The gaggle of teens washed up on the island with whatever bags and debris managed to float to shore with them. The first to make it to the island, and fully conscious was Joey and the boy who'd saved her.
"Thank you so much! I would've died back there if it wasn't for you." Joey said, that was the first time she'd managed to be humble in a long time.
"No problem." He said as the two rose to their feet and looked around them, the wing of the plane that protruded from the water was still burning intensely.
"This is not good..." Joey mumbled as she looked around in complete shocked.
"Were fucking stranded!" She exclaimed as she pushed a wet strand of her russet hair out of her face. She'd seen this on TV before in her favorite program Man vs. Wild but sh never imagined she'd actually have to use her survival skills in a situation like this one.
"Come on, time is of the essence. Pick up anything that looks useful, start with the luggage." She commanded boldly as she picked up as many bags she could at a time and set them farther on the sand where the waves would not reach them and they could dry.
"What the fuck happened?" Roman moaned as came to his senses along with Sterling and Colin, now leaving only Nathan.
"Are we dead?" Sterling chimed in as she looked around.
"No, we're alive, but we won't be for long if you don't start moving. We have to gather as much resources as we can, now help-"
"Zane."
"Zane with picking up the luggage." She says.

As Nathan rolled over on his stomach eventually on his hands and knees coughing out loads of water. He looked up to see a girl in a red shirt standing over him.
" Are you okay? " she asked
" Yeah... I think so" he tried but still coughing out water. He quickly glanced up but his vision was to blurry to see who he was talking to.
" Where are we? " he asked the girl
" I honestly don't know. " she said
Nathan began to rub his eyes so he could see better while finally standing.
" What do you mean you don't know? " he asked rudely
" The plane crashed, don't you remember? " she explained. Nathans eyes widened as he quickly turned around to see the ocean right in front of him.
" Damn it! " he exclaimed " this can NOT be happening! " he said as he started to pace back and forth.
" So what do we do are there any others? " he asked.
" We grab anything we find from the plane wreck that is useful and yes they are over there but I dont' know all their names yet." she said as she turned around to help the others but stopped, turned back around and held out her hand
" I'm Joey " the girl said nicely.
" Nathan " he said as he shook her hand.

"Okay, we all need to huddle up. I'm guessing we have a couple hours until sundown, so that means we need to make a fire and shelter. Do you guys think you can do that?" Joey asked, she'd appraised the group quickly, and none of them looked particularly skilled in anything, but being spoiled teenagers, but she reminded herself to be open minded and give them all a chance.
"You, and you. What are your names?" Joey asked pointing at the two.
"I'm Roman." The boy said courteously.
"I'm Zane."
"Okay, you two go search anything that can be used to start a fire, and be careful out there, there could be all types of insects and wild animals." She says as the two walk off in the more shallow part of the wooded area.
"You, and you. Names?"
"Sterling."
"Colin."
"Okay, you sift through this half of the bags, and I'll Nathan and I will handle the other half." Joey commands as she carefully throws a suitcase to the each of them.

"So where should we star?" Zane asked as he walked through the jungle with the boy
"Does it look like i know?!" The boy said with much attitude
"And whats your name again?" He added.
"Zane..." He replied.
"Well listen Zane stay the hell out of my way!" He exclaimed as he sprinted off into the jungle
"Wait up!!" He shouted as he began to chase after the boy. The boy was nowhere to be found and Zane had no idea what to do. As Zane walked through the woods he heard a strange noise. He began to get paranoid when all of a sudden there was a gorilla standing right in front of him
"Nice gorilla..." He said with much fear in his voice as he backed up with his hands up. As he bumped into a tree the gorilla came sprinting towards him as he let out a loud gasp and began to run in the opposite direction. Zane sprinted through the jungle as he looked behind him he saw the gorilla gaining speed, there was so much adrenaline pumping through his body to the point where he just couldn't stop running and he faster than he ever thought he could. As Zane got closer to the island he looked back and tripped on a tree root he let out a blood curdling scream as the gorilla stood over him. He kicked the gorilla in the nose and began to run again as he got to the island he ran up to Joey and Nathan who were sorting out things from the bags.
"Ther--- Wa-- A B--- Go----" He tried to say but he was out of breathe.
"What?" Joey said.
"Just relax... Breathe and try again." She added
"Ther-- Was A Go-Gorilla!" He shouted as he turned around towards the woods.
"Wheres that boy?" He added.
"Who Roman." Nathan said as he dropped the shirt
"Yea..." Zane replied as Joey and the two boys began too walk over too the woods.
"Dont go in there!" Zane belched as Roman came out of the woods with a whole bunch of fire wood.
"Thanks for your help dweeb." Roman said too Zane as he walked past and dropped all the wood in the sand.


Gorilla :

Joey left until darkness and didn't come up until the stars were up. The boys sat down and waited all the while while singing kikuo songs. She came back.
"'Sup, Turks?" Griffon came waltzing into the place like it was no thing. Her left hand was holding the cancerstick to her mouth as she ex and inhaled. Over her right shoulder was the goriBLACK BEAR that had just tried to gobble up sir Dumbderlot.
The boys' eyes grew like saucers and they screamed in unison. "WWWHHHAT THE WHIRLY CIRCLE OF WILLIS?"
Zane fell backward on the ground and exclaimed, "HO. WTF IS YOU DOING?"
Joey looked at them like she was stoned, but really she was just thrown off by their dumbness, but not enoughly to loose her icecool. "What?" She thought about it and looked at the goriBLACK BEAR. "Oh. This what'sit."
The goriBLACK BEAR shook off its daze and roared. The boys proceeded to scream like twelve-year-olds and wet their pants. Then the goriBLACK BEAR turned to looked and Giffon and almost wet its pantsless pants, but she knocked his head off before that could happen--with her fist.
"Are you guys hungry or what? I know I am." She tore its toes off and magnified the light of the stars with the magnifier she keep in her back pocket and threw them in to fry. "Be some useful little b------es and invent me a soda."

After all the tedious work that Joey had instructed the group of teens see through were completed the sky was glowing in different shades, and hues of pink, orange, and blue. It was beautiful, and somewhat comforting to the youngsters who now sat around a blazing fire and under the shelter of a gazebo made of bamboo and leafs thanks to the hard word of Zane, Colin, Roman, and Nathan. All was well, they'd all satisfied their hunger with air sealed bags of food that they'd found in luggage or that had washed up on shore. Their supplies were quickly depleting, but no one thought about it to heavily, the day had been stressful enough, and they were all just thankful to be alive.
"So... where are you guys from? Were from California." Sterling asked trying to break the awkward silence, mostly created by her brother who seemed quite uncomfortable to see Sterling nestled in the embrace of Roman.
"I'm from New Jersey." Joey replies.
