Rikka Faith's Story

Nothing. She was nothing. She could feel the rock she was sitting on, the sunlight on her back, the trees and bushes and little creatures crawling beneath and above her, but she could not feel herself. Gale enjoyed this feeling. She could feel her mind leaving her head, as if it knew everything, as if it could feel everything. And of course, it could.

There were many things Gale had to let go of today. For once, Gale had to start thinking about where the spirits would take her while she planned to live on her own. She also had to start thinking about marriage. Gale was 21, the customary age for elves to find their soulmates. This was the time that Gale had to stay away from her clan, and find other clans. She wouldn't be doing that just yet, but it was coming. Gale could feel it approach sooner and sooner every day....

Suddenly, Gale felt a disturbance. Quickly, she grabbed her wooden blowdart, and headed to Unicorn's Glade. She could feel something. Something concerning her cousin, Lindethiel.

It wasn't hard to find her cousin. Gale only had to follow the sweet sounds of her flute that blew through the forest trees like wind. Gale spied in on what was happening while hiding in a bush.

There was Lindethiel, playing her flute to members of the Faith Furry clan. They were nekos, and although nekos were considered creatures of nature, these nekos weren't particularly friendly. The brother of the clan, Shinta, was known to despise elves. (Gale had figured that out through listening to the forest spirits)
And if anything, it was hard to trust any creature these days. All the clans had been fighting, hurting each other simply for the sport of war. Gale didn't want to see that happening to Lindethiel. Also, Gale spotted another neko hiding from the tree line. Would this neko attack Lindethiel when she least expected it? Gale couldn't let that happen to her cousin.

She ran to Lindethiel, revealing herself from her hiding spot, and grabbed her arm. She spoke with her deep voice,
"My cousin, we do not converse with outsiders. You do not know these stranger's intentions. After all, some even despise our kind."
She glared at Shinta with fierce eyes when she said this.
"I do not want to see you hurt. Let's go," she said, pulling Lindethiel away from the nekos and into the woods.

He places a hand on her shoulder. "sister, I know what you wanted." He gives her a cheery smile. He did enjoy harassing his family. They made it too easy for him. He couldn't get her golden eyes out of mind. The way her hair smelled, or how she smelled during their intimate moments. He growled again, it was irritating, he can never focus thinking of her. "dammit shin! Forget about her." He muttered to himself, his tail twitched wildly as he kept trying to beat her out of his brain.

He'd give a lazy shrug. He didn't care anymore. The music was gone and he couldn't be bothered by some of the fair folk. "Don't worry, us cats have better music than any elf could produce." He says placing a hand on both of his sisters shoulders. "We should leave the glade, and go further in Neko's Paradise." He didn't want his sisters getting hurt and he deffinatly wanted to be away from the open air. He rolls his shoulders and cracks his neck. "Another Time maybe." He would whisper, noone would know why he loathed the elven race so much. Not even his younger sisters would know... he had lost HER to them. They had killed her and he'd grown bitter over the past months. A sigh escaped his lips as he turned his back on the departing elves. "Tis how life will be." He shook his head and started leading them away. "I love you two... and no elf will ever hurt you girls." He'd murmur a smile upon his face. The only one allowed to pick on his sisters were him. It was his job to make them miserable and embaress them. It wasn't time for him to be embaressing them at the moment though. He looked up at the setting sun, such innocent beauty. Just like her. Why was she haunting him? His hands would tense around the girls shoulders. His claws accidently digging in both of their skin. He'd force a smile on his face.

Shinta blinked and intertwined his tail back with hers. "memories of a post long forgotten." He mutters under his breath. He didnt want to worry his sisters. They were his memories... No one needed to know. "sol the last time you cooked, I almost lost my tail." He looked down st his fluffy tail. He shuttered and sighed at the memory. "there is still deer at the house." He started. They were already greeted by hostility , he didn't need anything else. "and sol, that elf had a blowdart" he shook his head and gave a exhausted yawn. When was he going to finally be able to get a good nights rest? No more nightmares, he didnt think his mind could handle it any more

Shin jolted awake hearing Lin yelling at him. "Woah Woah Woah!!!! What is going on here?!" He said looking up at Rikka and everyone around him. He was still laying down on the grass after his meeting with the strange Elven woman. He wiped some drool from his face looking around hopefully for Gale. Though he wouldn't tell anyone that. He tensed up seeing the two werewolves. "What the hell?" He snarled. He was exhausted. "Now I don't hate the elves...I did for my own personal reasons..." He'd hesitate, "My reasons stay personal...Rikka and Solar know why I hate the dogs..." He couldn't help the insult... it slipped from his mouth. "I'm sorry." He'd mutter shaking his head. "But I have had a strange change of heart..." He stood up, his tail drooping behind him, much more exhausted than he thought he was. "Er... where is your cousin anyway?" He'd ask looking for the tan woman. He really wanted to at least try to get to know her.

He looked at his sister and pulled her close, "How did you know... I was here? And why do you smell like gravy?" He would add on lifting a brow, a smirk on his face. He shook his head and sighed, giving a hesitant laugh. He tried to be as neutral as he could, but he couldn't help how his body remembered the sexual torture the wolves had done to him. The forceful blowjob, and anal sex he had endured. His fur on his tail raises slightly, as his ears go back, aggressivly. "Look, I don't know what the hell is going on, but I'll take me and my sister back home." He'd turn around wrapping his arm around her shoulder. "You shouldn't be out here at night...no matter what Rikka... you know that." He hissed in her ear. He hated being the older brother who sounded like he was barking out orders. They started to walk away, until he turned around and looked back at Lin. "Tell your cousin I'm looking for her, and to play this song." He'd hum a musical feline tune, a song that would lure him away from anything, a song he had learned from Spunk. "No matter where I am at... I'll hear that song and come... I'd really like to talk to her." He'd blush slightly, glad that noone could see it. He watched Lin and the gang curiously. His arm still around Rikka, glad that he had gotten some distance away from him and the wolves. His ears flicked forward, as his hair settled down. He gave everyone a sort of forced friendly smile.

"Calm down, Arianna..." Rudolph quietly told her sister while they were walking away.
Lindethiel didn't expect Shin's reply. "He stopped hating elves out of sudden? And what's with the interest to my cousin?" This made her think deeply. "And did he just request me a serenade for her? And another really important thing..."

She started running after the nekos and jumped in front of Shinta. "YOU HATE WEREWOLVES NOW?" The cat people probably wouldn't get rid of the elf soon. "This time I won't ask you why." anger could be read in her eyes even in the dark. She was squeezing her fists. "You probably have your own reasons. Probably some elf or werewolf have done something to you! BUT THIS ISN'T A REASON TO HATE THE WHOLE RACES! IF THERE IS EVEN ONE SINGLE PERSON IN THE GLADE THAT HATES ONE OR MORE ENTIRE RACES, WE SHALL NOT LIVE IN UNITY AND PEACE! AND EVERYONE WILL KEEP HURTING EACHOTHER FOREVER! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT? No! Don't answer! Good night!"

The young woman ran away. "What if he still hates elves and pretends to be interested in Gale in order to hurt her? No, I won't let him get near her!" She thought out of sudden.

Solar felt the rain and watched as the fire died down "your so stupid Solar" she mumbled to herself then let out a few coughs. She was now covered in ash and fur was slightly singed. She walked out of the house and saw Rikka, coughing a little she looked down to the ground. "Rikka..im sorry, I was just trying to do something good, I just cant do anything right" she whislered the let out a couple coughs. Her ears twitched as she heard the tune and her eyes went alert "Brothers calling us". She then booked it to the forest and jumped into one of the trees, theb jumped from tree to tree till she was close to were she could smell her brothers scent. Carefully getting closer from tree to tree she noticed her brother with that elf lady from earlier. She was in a tree that was close to them, crouched on one of the branches she let out a small cat like hiss then let out her familiar tune to her brother letting him know she was there but not.exactly getting to close.

"It's alright, Shin," Gale said as she stepped forward to Lindethiel.
"Lin, i hope you don't mind, but their going to have to stay with us at the elven courts. I'm sure there's enough room for them and our clan. I mean, we do have a lot of extra space...." she said. She turned back to Shin and smiled. "You ready?" she asked as she continued to walk.

The elven courts were perhaps the most mysterious and interesting out of all the lands in Unicorn's Glade. The air smelled of jade, and the trees shined in the moonlight with a combination of green and silver.

"Here we are, welcome to the Abode," Gale said, pointing up. There, located on the top of the wide tree, was a huge and luxurious tree house. Beautiful paper lanterns were hung around the surrounding trees and on the roof of the house.
"This is the Adaben," Gale said as she looked upon her home, " We call it the Abode, for short. It has been passed down to the members of my family and the members of the Snook clan for many years, now. One thing you must know about elves is that we love tradition, and the Abode is a perfect example of that. Well, enough of my talking, let's get you all inside."

To get to the deck of the treehouse, Gale climbed a long rope ladder and pulled herself up to the top of the tree. She climbed rather fast, as she was used to it. Once at the top, Gale opened the curtain entrance. Wind chimes greeted her as the curtains opened. Walking through the main hallway and past the kitchen, Gale led the group to theliving room, and found a surprise as she entered.

"So, you came here?" she asked, looking at Hunson with an intrigued expression. The vampire smirked as he continued to lay on the couch. "Didn't know you'd have company over, princess." he said, motioning at the group behind her. "Just here me out. I have to talk to you later," he said. Gale sighed, and turned her attention back to the Faith clan. "You all can stay in here if you'd like until I come back, then I'll lead you to your rooms. Shin, I know my sister very politely gave you clothing," she said sarcastically, "but i'm sure you'll need some more. It's going to get cold out tonight. I'm pretty sure my father's old clothes will fit you...hmmmm.....I'll be right back."

Before she headed up the stairs, she had a word with her vampire friend. "Now listen Hunson, I don't want any of your tricks while they're here. When i come back, i expect them all to not have bite marks on their necks...."
"Really, Nessie? You think i'm that low? Any friend of princess's is a friend of mine," he said as he started to levitate off of the couch into the air.
"Well in that case, go introduce yourself," the elf said. She hurriedly ran up the stairs unto the second floor. There were 3 floors in all.

"So..." the vampire started as the nekos came into the room, "How's everybody doing on this fine full-mooned night? You know what that means..." he said, cupping his hands. Hunson pointed his head to the ceiling and made the exact sound of a werewolf howling into the night. The chilling sound bounced around the room, echoing into everyone's ears. Due to Hunson's power of shapeshifting, he was able to do animal impressions very well.

Before Rudolph could reply somehow, he started shaking. His insides were burning, his bones started hurting and his head was about to burst. He grew a few inches and developed fur and a tail. "ROOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!" At first sight one would say that he would attack Arianna. "Darn! I wish I could control my form at this time!" At least he could control his mind during unexpected transformations and he wouldn't usually follow the normal killing instincts of an average werewolf. "Instead of complaining about being driven crazy by mom and dad, put the cards on the table! Or maybe you would prefer to have a baby from someone you don't love? And please, stop growling at me! I didn't do anything!"

"So now we're living together..." Lindethiel thought. "Everything changes so rapidly! Is this the birth of peace, or Shinta Faith is an evil genius, who is up to something? Since Gale trusts him, I'll try to do the same... but I'll keep an eye on him..." "HOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWLLLL" Hunson howled.

Hunson laughed at Shinta's comment. As soon as he left the room, however, his fake laughter turned into a furious and confused look.
"Geez....what a douche....seriously? 'dogs do know how to howl really well'..." he muttered in a mock impression of Shinta. The insult made him change his opinion towards the guests. He floated towards Rikka and took a glance at her. "Well, i guess it's just me, you, and blondie over there," he said, motioning to Lin.
Just then, Gale came down the stairs. She looked around the room, confused. "Where's Shinta?" she called out. "did he leave or something?"

"Oh yeah, he left." Hunson said without hesitation. He sat next to Rikka, blocking her from Gale's view. "It was all just an elaborate prank pulled by his family so that they can get revenge on you. NOW THEY KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE, PRINCESS!!"
Gale looked at Hunson with a stern face. She had been friends with him for so long, that she knew whether or not he was lying. "Very funny. Lin, have you seen Shin?" she asked, concerned.

"Okay. Thank you, Lindethiel," said Gale. A couple seconds after Lin had left, Hunson went up to the window, and shouted down to his sister.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT DAWN?!?" he rolled his eyes back at Gale before speaking again. "I HAVE TO TALK TO GALE ABOUT SOMETHING IMPORTANT!!!" he crossed his arms, waiting for a response. Although there were many times that Hunson and Dawn had gotten along, but since Hunson usually preferred to be alone, sometimes he viewed her as annoying.

As the two vampires were talking through the window, Gale noticed Rikka sitting alone in the corner. "Are you okay?" she asked the neko in a deep sweet voice. She sat next to her. "Are you scared about Hunson? He's really obnoxious, i know..."

"I'm back!" Lindethiel went inside. "What's with Hunson's yelling? Ugh, I hate it when people do that!" the irony here wasn't important. Lin was looking at Gale comforting Rikka. She was happy that two different species got along so well. "Shin and his sister will be here soon." Lindethiel sat next to Rikka and Gale. "I think that you're lucky." she told her cousin. "So... since we'll be living together, what's your name?" She asked Rikka. "Don't worry, I don't bite." She obviously noticed that Rikka isn't from the most outgoing people.

Rudolph was quietly following his prey. He was getting closer... and closer... until he suddenly jumped over the deer. He showed his claws, his teeth shined in the moon light, his eyes were aiming at the mammal.
The deer ran away in the last second and Rudolph moaned in pain after he fell on the ground.

"That's horrible! My condolences!" Lindethiel replied. "It's not a problem at all that you're with us. Spunk is watching you from up there..." The girl pointed up. "She would be happy if you and your siblings are happy wherever you are." When Lin was in good mood, she would bring optimism even when it comes to death. "Bad things are always followed by good ones. Remember always to believe that there is always a bright exit no matter what happens... And besides... I'm hungry. Do you want something to eat?" She asked Gale and Rikka.

Rudolph was chasing another deer. "WAIT! I'LL KILL YOU FAST AND WITHOUT ANY PAIN! I PROMISE! I HAVE NO IDEA WHY AM I SAYING THIS!"

Raziel:

He nodded and smiled softly, "I'll try to change my mindset Miss Elune..." He sighed and flapped his wings, "Though I do sense some trouble in the glade...if you'll excuse me." He nodded and flew off He stayed low enough he could see where the trouble was comming from. His ears pricked up when he heard his sisters voice. "No..." He'd shake his head, his sister has embrassed the fallen life, and he has not. He spotted two cats running away from a werewolf, "Dammit...'scuse me lord." He'd say quickly as he flew down to assist them. He landed right infront of the gorgeous werewolf. "Leave them alone." He yells drawing his sword, though the werewolf wasn't undead, the angel fire was bright enough to cause a distraction. He turned to Shinta and Solar. "Go you two... for we will meet again." He gave a friendly smile and a wink, then turned back to the large werewolf.

Shinta:

He ran how the hell did he get caught up in these messes. This was the same werewolf that he had seen by the glade. He picked his sister up after minutes of running and carried her as fast as he could. Then an angel with large glossy white wings landed right behind him. "What the?" He'd say to himself and Solar. His eyes watered when he saw that he had a sword of fire. "I need one of those." He'd say to Solar again. He didn't want to disturb the angel. Hearing him speak to them he nodded and continue running. Guess some people aren't as hostile as I thought... He thought to himself, he continued running back to Gale and Lins house. He put Solar down so he could walk through the door as normal as he could. "I'm home!" He'd sing happily He pouted as he saw everyone in the room. "Why's your vampire friend hanging out the window? Thinking of going bat?" He'd joke with a smile. I don't trust that vampire one bit, something is a bit off about him. Next time, my whole family will stay next to me. He thought while looking at Hunson. For the time being he'd be friendly with him...until he gave him a reason not to. "Oh... Gale? Would you...be able to teach Solar how to cook?" he scratched the back of his head, he wasn't that much of a cook...but he tried. "Spunk, she never had gotten around to it...." He shook his head and curled up on the floor. There it was again.. memories.

Dawn:

"Dammit brother! Your suppposed to be searching for a mate, not eating an elf!" She'd scream. She really didn't like him, nope not at all. He was so rude to her when she was just trying to help out. She'd shrug and smelling the wolves she ran off once more. She stopped at the edge of the forest and watched Rudolph chase down a few deers. She shapeshifted herself to look like an innocent deer, except she was black with red streaks. Dawn slowly walked out into the clearing and started to graze. She wondered why she needed to talk to Rudolph, she hated all werewolves, so why should she even consider being around one? Oh... it was for a mate. Damn her parents.

Raziel:

He gave a sideways glance to Elune, "Please miss Elune, go home to your husband. I would hate for you to feel his wrath." He says with a frown, His flaming sword held in his hands lighting up his features, casting shadows on them as well. He gave another look to the werewolf, "Don't you think you should hunt near the Den? Not near the glade?" He asks with a frown. He wasn't into harming creatures, but would try if he must. It went completly against his nature.

Shinta:

He ran and pulled Rikka into a hug. "Sister! Are you ok?" He asks murmuring in her ear so that noone could hear them. He pulled back long enough to search her face for any signs of vampirism. He truley didn't trust any vampires around his sisters. He sighed and pulled her back into a hug, his tail wrapping around Solars waist. "My baby sisters." He'd purr as he nuzzled them happily.

Shinta:

He chuckled feeling his sister go under his shirt. "Awe, come on Rikka... you're a beautiful kitten." He'd purr softly to her. He smiled softly at Solar and chuckled, "I just call her trouble." With a wink he scratched behind her ears and continued purring. This was suddenly an interesting night.

Raziel:

He chuckled as he continued showing his blade, "Michael gave it to me, before I was cast down." He folded up his wings and looked her over. "You know, you are a very beautiful werewolf." He put his blade back in its sheath on his side and groaned hearing his sister. He loved her to death, but she came at the worst time. "Skia, what are you doing looking for me?" He'd ask slightly annoyed. He wanted to continue his conversation with the werewolf. "You know I do not do any actions of the mortals....but drink." He chuckled to himself and looked back at the wolf girl. "My name is Raziel, I used to be an Archangel." He'd nod trying to get himself comfortable with his wings hidden.

Gale was happy that Lin was talking to Rikka, the shy neko. Gale could sense that her cousin was becoming wiser. Although she still had much to learn, she praised her cousin's maturity.

Through conversation between Lin and Rikka, Gale finally figured out who Spunk was. As Shinta and his other sister, Solar, came into the room, he mentioned her again, saying, "Oh... Gale? Would you...be able to teach Solar how to cook? Spunk, she never had gotten around to it...."
"Yes, definetely" Gale responded with a polite smile. She watched and laughed as Rikka transformed into her cat form and climbed up Shin's shirt. There was something in their family that Gale had never seemed to feel before. She felt as though the three nekos had something that the Valentinos were missing.

Meanwhile, Hunson was still talking to his sister.
"Dammit brother! Your suppposed to be searching for a mate, not eating an elf!" Dawn screamed. This comment made Hunson furious, and his eyes turned a fiery red color.
"SEARCHING FOR A MATE??? REALLY??? STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO, DAWN!!!! IT'S MY FREAKING LIFE, AND I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!!! IF YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT THAT STUFF, GO FIND YOUR OWN MATE!!! And by the way.....NESSIE IS MY FRIEND!!!!!!! I'M NOT EATING HER!!!!!!"
Once he was done ranting, Hunson noticed his sister run out into the forest
"AND GOOD RIDDENCE WITH YOU!!!!" he shouted. He slammed the window shut, and walked past the nekos and elves. He entered the kitchen, and sat alone at the table. What he was doing, who knew.

Gale glanced back over at Hunson. She would deal with him later. "Alright, so now that we're all settled in, would you three like to settle yourselves upstairs? We have three spare rooms that nobody is using. At least, not right now...." she said. Hopefully her siblings wouldn't come back soon, wherever they were...

Shinta:

He looked at Gale and smiled with Rikka in his hands. "We would love to, if you wouldn't mind." He watched Hunson warily, something obviously wasn't right with their family. He pursed his lips together, refusing to comment upon it. Nudging Solar he chuckled, "Now lets see you try and burn down a house." Of course he was just playing with his sister, but he couldn't help but feel grateful that she had burned it down. Seemed him and Gale would be able to get closer. Placing Rikka on his shoulder he'd smile and wait for her to lead the way. He gave a weak yawn and chuckled, "After transforming into my Bakeneko form, and running and climbing and swimming, I could sure use a nap." He said with a lazy sleepy smile upon his face.

"We would love to, if you wouldn't mind."
"Great. Follow me, please," Gale said, motioning for the nekos to come up the stairs with her. The beautiful and probably the most enchanted part about the tree house was that it was much bigger on the inside than on the outside. Walking through the long, narrow hallway, Gale stopped at the first corridor to the left. "Here is the first room," she said, opening the dark brown door. Around the room was many different wooden carvings as well as fireflies kept in small little jars. They provided a dim yet bright light.

Gale exited the room and walked down the hallway again. Before turning to the next room, she turned to Solar, saying, "oh, and to answer your question; yes, we do have clothes here. You can use them, as long as you don't mind looking a little fancy. Some of them are pretty....ancient, if you know what i mean." She opened the door to the room in the middle of the hallway. "This is the second room. My personal favorite" she said. Just like the first, fireflies were kept in jars. There were many books that lined the shelves. The shelves spread all across the room.

"And here's third room." she said as she entered through the doorway that was right next to the second room. The third room seemed to be the biggest and most colorful room of the three. Gale's parents had owned the room when they lived in the Abode.

"Well, that's the tour. I guess you three can decide where you wanna go. I'll be downstairs," she said. Gale departed through the hallway and walked down the staircase back to the living room.

"Didn't he just read a part of mom's favourite book?" Lin exclaimed with a wide smile. It wasn't clear why did he decide to come downstairs and read to the elven women.
Today was both a weird and a fun day. Lin was glad that the neko people were so friendly. She didn't know much about them, but she was about to become friends with them. The girl could relate to Solar's kitchen troubles. Lin herself has made many mistakes while cooking. Together they would learn more from Gale. Rikka seemed very timid for Lin, but also very sweet and kind. The moment when she turned into a cat with a sneeze was adorable. At first Lin was constantly mad at Shinta, but now she could see his good side.
Lin went upstairs holding a plate of cookies. She knocked on one of the doors and opened it. "Hey! Do you want some munchies?" Rikka was playing around Shin, who was thrown on the bed. The view seemed so adorable, Lin blushed and dropped the plate. "Aaah! Sorry!" She rushed to clear up the mess. "I'll bring you new ones, except you don't follow the five second rule! Uuuh, never mind!" She ran out of the room and slammed the door closed. "What the... I'm such a clutz..." she thought.

"Well, well, well... what do we have here?" Ravin was watching the events from above. "How come the elves and the nekos started getting along so much? Probably my dear wife decided to do what she wants! Well, I can play that game too!" He raised his hands. "I'll make them hate each other!" A lightning bolt formed and was shot at the tree house. "Yeees, yees!" Ravin yelled excited, but the bolt changed its course and went far, far away. "Oops..." Ravin murmured. "Still, it will hit someone and the war age will continue!" Ravin bursted in evil and hysterical laugh.

Rudolph has finally succeeded to kill a prey. Still, he didn't feel victorious, as he has never liked to hunt and kill. Only then his strenght and speed couldn't reach their widest limits.
