Tied up in a chair was rather dull, now and again those who refused to stop watching her would proudly declare, "Best watch out for Ms Chen, she will teach you good." or "Ms Chen dealt with worse criminal scum than you." this was her favourite, "Ms Chen is infamous in the these bonds were uncomfortable. The bonds dug into her chest so much she wondered if she would even have breasts at this rate. Not that it mattered, not like she was not a girl, more she had no reason to play act and pretend that humans interested her, besides Silver Eyes was only person whom interested her, but she knew this was foolish dream, no matter how Electra-esque it was, since to her he originally been surrogate father.

This is why she focused solely on machines, as they did not emote and well they responded more often to her works, if people responded like gadgets and computers she would be a whore no doubt, since her foreplay would be intense, sadly even A.I constructs could not be as such. Courtney was many things, but depraved was not one of them.

God these bonds hurt, where was she going to run to anywhere, jumping out the airlock would do nothing except achieve explosive decompression, which well would suck to say the least.

The room she was in was dark, metal and half few shafts of lights from some areas. Occasionally light would turn on and newest guard would be around, within couple hours she would break them, Federation really had no idea how to handle her. Some were too aggressive, some were too kind, others just were pathetic. She suspected she was gaining some interesting infamy due to all this, maybe they spoke legends of her.

Fuck these ropes, morphing someone body with bonds was under Cruel and Unusual punishments, she would rather stay a girl.

Not that any of this would happen, but these bonds were freaking tight.

1900 Hours Day One

The station personnel went active immediately, the hatches of the station's extending ports opened to release a swarm of repair drones and crews aboard light craft. Armed with welders and fusion cutters, these crews would start off repairing damaged wiring. They would move on to sealing off the holes in the Salient's hull, the vacuum would take care of the flames streaking from the ship's wounds.

"Careful people, this is a federal warship, we don't want the gummint to start knockin' on our doors the next day and tell us this thing went to bits," said the overseer through the communication channels.

"Start with the wiring, those are vital to the ship's internal software, not to mention hardware. Even a single wire can keep this monster from firing its main cannon," the overseer took a drag from his cigar as he watched the workers through the viewport of the station's repair bays.

Perhaps that was exaggeration, but he was making sure that they were getting their job done, perfectly if humanly possible. He had a thick golden mustache complimenting his head of hair which seemed to cover his head like golden duck fluff. He had a pair of old aviator glasses covering his eyes, perhaps he was trying to revive an old fashion style.


"Move on to the plating when the wiring has been completely repaired, we'll probably have to start pulling plates from the wreckage field out there," he stared into the endless yard of debris plating that had been scrapped from ships over the years.





F.S.S. Salient Main Barracks

Atomsk Dunaway would have pulled out a smoke to start puffing, seeing as how he needed those to think sometimes. Today, he had his arms crossed as he stared intently into the view screen that was linked to a camera feed viewing the prisoner, Courtney Reynolds in her makeshift prison cell. The cell was an uninhabited personnel quarter converted for the purposes of interrogation and detainment. Atomsk had placed two sentries outside of the quarters to make sure she wouldn't get out of the compound, as if she could in her present state, with her arms bound with electro braces.

Alice walked down the hall towards the room where the pirate was being held. She really didn't know why there were always people or beings that liked to break things that weren't theirs, but she would find out why this occurred on her ship. She then sighed and slowed her pace.... it wasn't exactly her ship, but she didn't like things going wrong with the ships she was on and was determined to put a stop to this fiasco. At least for now. Why were there fools out there that thought that they would get away with death and destruction?? There were laws in place for a reason and terrorists would always get what is coming to them, be it death or jail.

Straightening her shoulders and wiping the soft look from her face, replacing it with a firm hard look... she approached the soldier guarding the door. She nodded slightly to the man, then stood in front of the door.

"I will be your interrogator, so I want you to know that I will not be lenient with you." She said as she proceeded to pull a chair up and sat right in front of the girl. "It was not a good thing for you to plant that virus on the ship and to think that you wouldn't get caught, but then.... maybe that is why you stayed longer than you were supposed to." She said as she got up to pace the floor.

She then stopped and looked at the girl. "Tell me... Why did you decide to put the virus on this ship??"

Eli lifted three pieces of conchiglie into his mouth and chewed away. He was a marine, and he ate like one. Victor wasn't, but...he ate like one as well. Several marines nearby had an outburst of laughter, which drew their attention only temporarily. They noticed a naval officer saunter by, his face was green. He looked like the Mess had given him something that he didn't agree with. A few minutes passed by since Victor last spoke.

"You're pretty quiet today kid, somethin' wrong?" Victor scarfed down some more of his pork.

Eli was staring past his food, he chewed to a stop once Victor spoke.

"Hmm, oh, nothin'." Eli continued chewing again, while staring at his food.

Victor eyed him suspiciously, he knew that look that Eli had.

"You didn't...you didn't have those hallucinations again did you?" Victor inquired, he had paused eating.

Eli looked up at him, "No," he looked down at this food again. He pushed aside several squishy pieces of pasta on his plate with his fork.

"I had one of those dreams." Eli paused.

Victor closed his eyes for a moment, before they flitted open and zipped from his plate to Eli. "Did you go to the med?"

"What for?" Eli asked.

"Kid, this has been happening to you for awhile now. This isn't normal, and I think it would help if you went to see a shrink." Victor laid down his fork and knife.

Eli chuckled at the thought, "A shrink? Vic, comon'..."

"Damn it Colter, I thought what happened on Mars would have knocked some sense into you so that you'd actually grow a pair to confront your mistakes. For God's sake, it wasn't even your fault. You know what your issue is? You're stubborn as hell. The only mistake you made that day was not listening to me. Nobody would have known what would have happened, but shit happened. And you know what? It's time for you move on." Victor jabbed a finger at Eli.

Eli remained silent, staring at his food, his mouth closed.

"Kid, snap out of it alright? Things happen, people die. Enough with the guilt, I'm getting too damn old for this shit," the last word crashed on Eli's ear.

Eli sighed, "I'm trying."

"You're not trying hard enough. Those men aren't gonna' come back." Victor paused, "If you're seeking absolution, I'm not the one you should talk to." Victor rose and took his plate and utensils with him to dispose of.

"These hallucinations and dreams aren't...normal. It might be PTS-"

"It's not PTSD," Eli stopped him there, "It's nothing."

"Oh no, it's something," Victor nodded with conviction.

Eli remained silent for a couple of minutes, "Those men aren't gonna' come back."

"No. No they won't. They can't talk to you, but I'm sure they can listen." Victor patted him on the shoulder.

Atomsk watched Lieutenant Commander Chen slip through the metallic blast door after the guard waved her in. He remained outside of the makeshift cell awaiting the conclusion of the interrogation. He was hoping that the Lieutenant Commander would pry the pirate for information regarding the movements of their fleets, or at least find enough evidence to incriminate her for charges of treason. Plus the bitch had killed several of his men, he would see to it that she wasn't getting out early on good behavior.

He stared straight on at Courtney through the feed as he watched Alice begin her interrogation. There was a scowl on his face, one that was intensely focused and characteristically belonged to Atomsk.

Blinking rather nonplussed the pirate would look at the interrogator deciding to have some good ol' fashioned fun, "Why did the Chicken cross the road? That's my answer." with that she would chuckle apparently finding this all rather hilarious. It even seemed she did not care how she could potentially killed people with what she did, or that her actions could be blamed to being directly to blame for the pilot whom had died. To her it was all relative and nothing to exactly concern herself with.

She just sat there grinning occasionally staring anywhere but at the interrogator, why should she care? To her this was a flying visit and well she had no reason to doubt this, not as if she knew what had taken place all she was aware of was she had succeeded in her mission, which was a major plus.

The room was metallic-like and her bonds were state of art but god how they dug in, it made nearly impossible to slouch, they had even taken her electronic gizmos which was infuriating as she hated being without her computer. This was further a problem as she did not want the freaking Federation going through her files without any regard of the sophisicated software and files she had on there. Thankfully she had managed to hide her flash-drive which had the entire code and execution programs for MIRANDA on her person, the Fed goons weren't going to to get her Magnum Opus of Computer Science, she had managed to make a construct without any help from anyone. The thing was an absolute achievement and even had some of her trade-mark snark and sarcasm, but what was truly the most amazing thing about MIRANDA was how she could be considered the finest Tactical A.I second to none, as she had studied reems of libraries books to encode the philosphies and beliefs of greatest generals including that of Sun Tzu into the program.

One thing she was curious of was where was her brother as he had been on the crew manifest, therefore did she not deserve to talk to the blithering fool?
