a character in “Necropolis: Underworld City”, originally authored by LoonyLunaLoo, as played by RolePlayGateway

Description

Image
Name: Iracabeth Krill

Role: Citizen Demon

Age: Appears as an 18 year old human, so she would be 180 in demon years

sex: Yes please

Gender: Fem

Personality: Racey is a little out there. She's a bit crazy, a little different, and very fun to know. While Racey may be out there, she is also down to earth and smart. She is very easy to get along with, but don't piss her off, or she'll eat your face.

Weapons/Magic: She can conjure shadows, wrap herself in shadows, making herself nearly disappear

Image

History: Racey was in a terrible accident when she was very young, even for a demon, and lost all her family, and her memory. Since then, she has been living a life in the shadows, not trying to draw attention to herself, and not really living in much spotlight.

Interests: Shadows, she finds it amazing that light and buildings and other things can make dark shapes.

Dislikes: Bright lights, loud noises, and being scared

Likes: Darkness, quiet, and not knowing where she is, she loves being lost

So begins...

Racey was dodging through the shadows, keeping out of everyone's way. Her white hair reflected in the dim light of the underworld. Her long, black fingernails threaded through the shadows she ran through, and her hazel eyes, surrounded in deep ebony liner and violet shadow, darted this way and that as she watched the other demons.

Iracabeth ran through the shadows, looking for one of her...she wouldn't say friends, but he never picked on her for being easily frightened. Racey didn't have friends. She had...people she knew, people she wished she knew, and people she didn't know. However, she would call Rin one of her closer...known people. She hated the word friend, so she didn't use it.

She knocked on the door of the room he stayed in at the Inn. "Rin?" She called quietly. "Rin, I saw something in the shadows. You're probably sleeping, but I saw shadows I didn't recognize. You and I should go see who they are," She knocked again, quietly still. She didn't want to make him mad. "Rin please, we need to go so I can show you what my shadows told me!" Iracabeth was getting impatient, and knocked louder than she meant to. "Sorry!" She yipped quietly, knocking softly again.

Iracabeth pulled him into the shadows.

"Watch," She told him, manipulating them like only she could. She whispered in a strange tongue, they formed the soldiers they had seen. "They're some sort of monster or something...should we tell the army?" She asks Rin, looking over the shadows.

"They really are quite terrifying," She says, moving behind his shadow. Rin had a strong shadow, unlike her small girl one, and she liked hiding in it. It made her feel safe.

As Arelyn lazed about she got a whiff of something familiar and licked her lips involuntarily. Coming to realization her eyes widened and her head snapped in the direction of the city. It was faint but she couldn't be mistaken.

"Blood...." she muttered.

Twisted and tainted... the blood of a demon. Why would any demon blood be shed within the city? Demons were prohibited to feed on each other. Even feeding on humans was done outside the city. Just who would be stupid enough to shed blood in the middle of this crisis? What if...? Worried, she walked into the city, sticking close to the walls as to avoid the large dead zombies that patrolled the streets.

She turned the corner just in time to see a slight manipulation of shadows. Arelyn stared long and hard, but saw no one. There was one person in particular that came to mind.

Taking a guess she whispered, "Iracabeth...? Are you there?"

Racey grabbed Rin's hand. "Let's go find them then! Warning, warning, we're all going to die!" Racey was a little psycho, but she kept quiet. She looked at the shadows. "They don't know where. Where to go, Rin? Where, where??" Often times, she repeated herself because she spoke so quietly.

Racey stared at the diminishing light. "Not much time, shadows won't be able to help soon. We must hurry, hurry Rin," She said, looking up at him with urgency in her Hazel eyes.

Iracabeth kept close to Rin as they walked toward the castle. She saw the barracks, and got a bit nervous. Most other demons weren't nice to her. She was very pretty for a demon, and she was also shy and meek. Demons usually picked on her until she wrapped them in a shadow...Racey took a deep breath and started walking toward the barracks again.

As she walked up to the front of it, she looked at her shadow. There was still time to show them what she had seen, and she sighed in relief. As she looked at the front, she raised one blonde eye brow. "Where should we go?" She asked her companion, looking at the many entry ways to the barracks. She looked back down at her shadow, suddenly feeling very uncomfortable at the thought of being around more demons than she was used to...which she was really just used to Rin.

Racey looked around and summoned a shadow, making it into a tower. It then pointed in the direction they would walk. Racey took off, grabbing Rin's hand and pulling him along behind her. She ran for what couldn't be more than a few minutes, and found the tower. She hid herself and Rin in a shadow to get past the guards, and up the stairs, following the increasingly high amount of guards.

As Iracabeth got to a large area where there were about 50 guys, all guards, and looked. "Okay," She whispered. "We need to get in there, but I don't have enough light to make a shadow to cover both of us. You go in there, I'll cover you, and I'll distract the guards. You can convince her to come out here and watch the shadows," She said, moving behind a pillar and stepping out of the shadow that was covering them both. "You gotta go fast, Rin. I can only cover you for a few minutes,"

His patience was already thin and now it was gone. Looking over to the Templars side, Nero noted that they were planning something, and since their leader was just going to give them more time to plan an invasion, heโ€™d take matters into his own hands. Nero was about to push off the ground when he noticed, the 2 demons. โ€œYou two. Leave the city at once or come with me,โ€ he didnโ€™t leave any room for arguing as he ran off toward a place that many demons called the beast den.

The beast den was one of the few places that civilians were not allowed. It held some of the most gruesome monsters ever imaginable, and none of them were allowed out. The door to the den was about 6 meters tall and about 5 meters wide, but Nero knew that some of the tallest monster in it could get stuck. Fishing into his pockets for the beast key he had Nero held it up to a magic lantern, making sure it was the right one. The key was a few inches long with a lion on the end. He inserted the key into the door, and as soon as he opened it, a threating roar erupted at him. This caused the white haired demon to smile, โ€œI see yaโ€™ll are healthy. Now how about eating some Templars.โ€
