Darius Grimlocke and Atryom Bravinski

Muralia Academy- a place where Supernaturals of all ranks can come together and learn how to hone their abilities. Created by Tobias Grimlocke, whom is both the Leader of Demons and the Council Leader, this school is one of a kind.

Darius stood in the hallway of said school, looking at a piece of paper in his hands. It was early morning, when students would be waking up to go to breakfast. I know they had to rearrange the dorms due to all the transfers, but.....THIS?! WHAT THE FLYING FUCK IS THIS?! Darius unconsciously shook the paper in his hands as he headed towards a billboard on the wall, conveniently located just outside of the cafeteria where everyone could see. He used a tack to put it up as a few people already started to crowd around. Then, he took another piece of paper out of his hands and tacked that one up too.

The first paper was a dorm listing. Because there were so many transfers out of Muralia Academy during the first week of school, they had to rearrange everyone's rooming situations. Darius had put up the new arrangements, although very reluctantly.

~~~~~
New Dorm Arrangements
Room 101- Darius Grimlocke and Kiran Nevaidos
Room 102- Atryom Bravinski and Sirius Veneziano
Room 103- Roan'n Escavela and Kyouki Shimizu
Room 104- Rei Lic're and Andri Nav'iadar
Room 105- Mikala Dutch and Damien Rivera
Room 106- Derian Mors and Derrick Blackthorne
Room 107- Tzar Kohla and Karne Nevaidos
Room 108- Fenris Curavine
Note: Rooms cannot be switched or changed, with the exception of Special Privileges.
~~~~~~~~~~

The second piece of paper was a notice.

~~~~~~~~~~
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS
To assess your initial power and mastery of your abilities, there will be a tournament held today.
What: Team Tourney A (in groups of three) [MANDATORY]
When: Noon, after lunch
Where: The practice field behind the school.
Awards and Prizes: Because this is a practice test to gauge the student's initial level, there will be no prizes awarded.
Students may choose their own partners- however, to do so they MUST notify the Student Council in writing of all team members. Those who do not submit their team members in writing will be put into teams at random.
~~~~~~~~~~

Done with his task, Darius left the billboard and went into the cafeteria. He was lost in thought as he grabbed some random food and sat down in an inconspicuous corner of the cafeteria. I can't BELIEVE it! I'm roomed with THAT GUY?! AGAIN?! He quietly seethed as he bit into a banana muffin, unaware of the stares he was getting from some of the girls in the cafeteria. So lame....I haven't seen him since I got here though, I wonder if he's even here...? Darius's train of thought was broken as someone sat next to him.

"You look very thoughtful today, Darius. I assume it is because of the new dorm arrangements?" Atryom smiled at him as he set down his tray and sat next to him. His seven tails twitched and writhed of their own volition as they always did as he continued, "I see that you were roomed with Kiran again. I wonder if it's fate? I mean, after what happened in the summer...."

"Do not speak of the summer, or I swear I'll make you call me Master for the rest of your life." Darius responded quickly, the curtness in his voice showing he meant business. "Nothing happened this summer. Got it?"

Atryom just chuckled and nodded. "As you wish, Darius. Although, I wonder if he remembers differently?" Atryom went on playfully, nudging Darius's shoulder. Darius just shook his head, looking a bit troubled.

"Shut up, stupid fox. Oh, by the way, you're on my team for the tournament today." Darius notified him matter-of-factly, the usual haughtiness in his voice apparent.

"As expected. Do we have a third member as of yet?" Atryom inquired. Darius shook his head once more. "I see. Perhaps we should ask-"

"We are NOT asking that Misfit." Darius quickly cut him off, answering perhaps a bit louder than what was necessary. "Anyone but that guy."

Derrick Blackthorne

Derrick slowly opened his eyes, reluctant to face the new day. He hated waking up. Nevertheless, he fully opened his eyes and sat up. He stretched, got dressed, and left to the cafeteria.

He, like everyone else, took a look at the billboard. He noted with relief that he was roomed with his master, but frowned at the thought of a tournament. What was the point in fighting if you weren't allowed to kill anyone? It just took all the fun out of it. Yawning and getting grumpier and grumpier, Derrick went into the cafeteria in search of his master.

Tzar yawned as he slowly walked into the cafeteria. It had been about a week since he had arrived to the academy and yet he was still not used to waking up so early. Nothing of much importance had happened during the past week just a few introductions to the classes and teachers. Tzar looked around the cafeteria, there weren't many people there so he had either gotten there a early or a bit late. But he discarded the thought since it wasn't of much importance. He slowly walked up to the counter, grabbed and tray and some breakfast, almost dropping it because of his tiredness. Tzar rubbed his eyes and gave another glance around him looking for a table with few to no people sitting there, and soon he found one and took a seat. Gently, he put down his tray and began thinking to himself I really haven't socialized much have I?... Then again, I'm here to learn not to have fun He gave a quick nod to reassure his conclusion.

After finishing the small but enjoyable meal, Tzar walked out of the cafeteria and began taking a walk around school, and as he did he noticed a large amount of students around a bulletin board, how strange. As he approached the large group of students he began to notice that most of them sounded rather excited, and soon he discovered why. The board had a a large piece of paper on it explaining that there would be a diagnostic tourney today. Tzar mentally sighed, it had only been a week and he already had to fight, and not just fight but fight in a team. He shrugged, there wasn't much he could do since it was mandatory, so he might as well accept the fact that he had to participate. And so he did.

Tzar stopped for a bit and began to think. He quickly arrived to the conclusion that it would be a smart idea to train a bit before the tourney, and it would probably even be a ideal time since it was still the early morning. And so he walked towards the practicing field, hoping to find it suitable for a quick practice.

Derian was unsettled as he walked restlessly in the empty hallway, has been a week since he entered the Academy and apart from the many transfers hadn't ocurred anything particularly interesting, well if there was somthing worth of mentioning was that now the Undead boy was the Treasurer of the Student Council and his first act as such was use some of the money to buy sweets, at the time seemed like a good idea considering that he had run out of sweets and was getting excessively impatient but now that was the reason why he felt uneasy even if he was going to replace it don't ceased to be a vile theft.

The idea of the tournament didn't reduce his anxiety, fighting is one of his favorite things but when there is a rule that prevent you to kill your opponent becomes somewhat difficult to enjoy it, what's the point if you can't dismember, broke bones and crush skulls, tear out the internal organs, or tearing throats while your opponent pleads for mercy, plea that would never be heard because your mind is lost in your own personal hell, a sinister smile appeared on Derian's face while the old bloodlust began to peek.

He ate a sweet.

The tournament was a good idea, at least for would serve to know the overall of the students, of course about the teammates random was the best choice, though in a second thought he should pick Derrick as partner, though in a different way his guardian also could lose control in the middle of the fight and it wouldn't end very well, they should support each other to prevent the worst situation.

He went to the cafeteria to eat something and quickly identify Derrick, his military attire wasn't what one could call discreet, "Derrick, remember what we were told about the fights," even before a greeting he reminded him the warn that his Father gave them about don't kill a classmate "Morning" he said "We need a third member, We leave it at random or do you know someone?" Spoken loud and didn't cared about the others who were in the cafeteria, the sad reality is that he don't have any friend.

Fenris Curavine

Cut from the herd, any would fade

A single arm outstretched, shadow casting over, Fenris stared towards the back of his hand. An irreplaceable hobby that has made it's own way into the life of a few, the tiresome game of waiting. The grass as bedding, he was resting amongst the grounds of Muralan, simply letting time pass. Despite the morning hunger gnawing within him, the desire to avoid idle banter of the school's normal populace was enough to dissuade him.

Closing his eye, and once again resting his arm to his side, Fenris entered what seemed a meditative state as his thoughts lingered amongst his own household. Convinced now, that he was sent here to be removed from his peoples eye. It was merely a few days ago that he received the letter, one mentioning a younger sister. Surely they had tried to create a new heir in his absence. Perhaps she would at least share their parents red hair. And how pleased would mother be if the youngling's eyes were that sapphire blue. How she must have been in fright when seeing his pale eyes and the mention of blindness.

News could not bother him, as he would not bother with an action of emotion simply due to something so minor. No, he expected that one day they would try to advance with or without him. The only reaction that seemed plausible to him was relief, relief by the fact that he did not scorn them from trying to have another child. But again, it was useless to portray such a thing, after all. It was easiest this way, to remain passive. Accepting anything and everything as it is. Emotion, or lack thereof, seemed to change little amongst the playing field of life thusfar.

Raising up, Fenris sat to look around. The normals were scattered thinner and thinner by day. 'Friends' were being made by every passing day. This would mean smaller and smaller numbers spread about, but more groups would grow elsewhere. That is correct, even he would not escape the constant adaptation cycle, and would get pulled into a group by some means. Already he knew, simply accepting this fact was the best way to continue. Besides, with a collective comes order, with order, Fenris has a bleek purpose.

Losing to the needs of the normal stomach, Fenris left his nearly quiet resting place. Cutting straight through the courtyard he paid little to no heed as to whom it contained. There was no voice, crying for him to communicate, no conscience to run and mingle. Other than this undying hunger, he felt much like a pencil would if it could breath. Taking his hand, Fenris felt over the small engravings covering his left eye. That's right, a pencil with an ornament in place of the eraser.

Soon, he would come across the small group before the billboard. The constant shrinking in size until a lingering few would add to the mass. It was obvious something had been posted, since a few would tap at the second peice of paper. Fenris stood behind the group, collecting the small mentions of a tournament. It was apparent that a few looked forward to the small ordeal, whilst others were obviously nervous. The details grew clearer and clearer as people would turn and see him, scooting somewhat out of the way. They probably did not feel as afraid of him as nervous, or perhaps disgusted. No, they only gained enough distance as to continue with their life, without coming into contact of his.

It seemed a few of the dorm rooms had to be changed around. At least, that is what the first paper had been stating. It would be easy to move dorms, as he had brought so little with him after all. But, with the room all to himself, he would not have to worry about a disruptive roommate. The other notice was of course the tournament the students had been mentioning. It must be a rather hot topic around the school already to attract attention during the morning. He could not complain, as it was something predefined. This was his new order, and would not displease him in any form. Just like everyday, all he had to do was accept this as the fact.

Quietly turning away, he easily removed himself from the group. It would seem the school would deem what 'party' he would be in. As the decision of who to be with was beyond him. As a man of order, all he could do was listen and follow despite his blood. If someone approached him, he could do nothing else but accept. If no one approached him, and the school would instead force him in place of a missing party, he could do nothing else than follow. That is how it was, that is how it is easiest.

Roan'n smiles as he looked at the girl who stood across from him in the hall. Her hands were on her hips, a show of impatience on her part. He smiled as he simply shrugged at her. "look, you maybe part of the school paper but, that doesn't mean I'm just gonna give you access to councils documents. As the new historian, I cant just let anyone get a hold of them." he suddenly stepped forward putting almost chest to chest against him. His hands reached behind her as he whispered in her ear. "or so I would say if I gave a damn about the council. I'll leave you a copy of the paper you want to see in the gym equipment at midnight.... If you dare to meet me there alone that is." he dislodged himself from her as he turned and walked away. He called out as he walked. " be sure to wear something a little more sexy than stripes, ok?" he smiled and laughed while spinning her panties on his finger, the green and white stripes very visible as he spun them. The girls face flushed red as she felt her jeans and relized that he had just made a fool of her. Roan'n really wasn't going to give her the real paper though. He knew better. A convincing fake would be more than usuable when it came time. He waded up the panties and shoved them into his pocket before heading to the billboard. He already of the tournament coming up but, he hadn't found partners yet so he flee that maybe some others would be over by the billboards looking for partners. That's when he saw the creepy wierd dude , Fenris. The guy gave off one of those, fuck with me and die, vibe which was exactly what he needed for the tournament. Roan'n took note on how no one else so much as wanted to look at the dude before walking up to him. Luckily, Roan'n knew his name due to seeing the roster of students in the council room. " hey, you're Fenris right? Im looking for some power for my team and well, you would fit in perfect my good man!" Roan'n smiled and patted the mans shoulder before speaking. " youll be joining my team right? Right! Glad to have you aboard. I'm heading to the practice field to....." in his mind he could already envision the women sweating while training against the practice dummies. " check out the competition so to speak." he said as he took off smiling, walking right through a wall going to the outside.

No sooner had Kiran stepped out of his room that he was pounced upon by the Pink-Haired Morning Person.Β

"Kiaaaaa~" squealed his older sister as he was captured firmly in her arm. The cat was on her shoulder, and promptly slipped into his own grip, as he was less prone to jumping and twirling down the hallway. Karne finally released him before giving him a peck on the cheek that had his face flushed pink with surprise. Kiran berated himself for forgetting to put on something with a hood. Karne was too oblivious. He cradled the small kitten in his arms and bid his sister good morning before they started walking, Karne humming and her gaze glittering about with natural interest and impulsivity. It had become her routine to "attack" him just as he stepped out of his door each morning, one he kept foolishly forgetting about. It was Karne. It was to be expected.Β

She opened her mouth to speak to him, when she caught sight of a crowd before a bulletin board. Karne grabbed her brother's hand, forcing him to hold the cat one-handed, and dragged him with unintentional mercilessness all the way down the hall to see what the board had in store. Karne hummed an impromptu song as she skipped along, oblivious to Kiran's awkward efforts to stay caught up, even though he was stumbling just about every other step. It was morning. He was just not a morning person.

Karne weaved her way to the board first, quickly skimming the two pages and smiling brightly. Continuing her tune, she shifted to the side to let her brother see the board.Β

The new dorm arrangements confused Kiran.

It was... his name. Room 101, then some other name, then his name. It was the other name that confused him. He read it over and over, checking the spelling, and whether or not it was the right room he was in, and so on. He furrowed his brows, still uncertain he was reading correctly. The fuck is this? A typo? Some sick sort of joke? He frowned and his features unconsciously darkened. Who the bloody hell comes up with this sh-Β

His thought was cut off by Karne taking his hand and dragging him off again, this time to the cafeteria.

"Ssssssoooooooooo," she said as they walked. "Whaddya think about the tourney?"

He looked up at his cheery sister, animosity replaced by confusion. "The what?"

Karne looked at him strangely. "The tourney. On the paper."

"What-" he cut off the question, looked away for a moment, then looked back. "I dunno what I think."Β

"We need another person for our team."

"Team? What team?"

Karne giggled delightedly, giddy that she knew something Kiran didn't for once. "We need teams of three for the tourney, dum-dum!"Β

"Well, that's fucking great," he murmured and looked off in another direction once more. Karne frowned.Β

"Whassa matter, Kia?" she asked, concern flitting about her features as they entered the cafeteria.

Kiran took his hand from hers and massaged a temple with a sigh. No use lying. "Roommate," he answered simply, veering in one direction towards a near-empty section.

His sister followed closely, pursuing a more suitable answer. "Whaddabout 'em?"

They sat across from each other, and Kiran's eyes flashed belligerently. "If he speaks to me, I'm stabbing him in the fucking throat," he growled. The cat slipped from his tightened grasp and Karne held it instead.

Her expression was one of dismay, as it always was when her brother was in a bad mood. Kiran put his head down, as she asked, "Awwwwww are you okaaaay, Kia?"

"Head hurts." His reply was simple. An understatement. Kiran was positive that having his guts ripped out of his body, torn to shreds and set on fire would've felt better than dealing with Darius's shit for a whole school session.

Karne tilted her head to one side, understanding there was more to what he said, but choosing not to persue the subject any further. She beamed again and changed the subject, taking hold a lock of her brother's platinum hair and twirling it about her finger.

"Hey, Kia?"

"Hm."

"Can I braid your hair?"

He lifted his head up and swatted her hand away irritably. "God, no! The hell, Karne? Quit fucking touching me!" Kiran's words had come out much harsher than he'd meant them too. He regretted them immediately as his sister's expression switched to one of stricken dismay. Her lip quivered slightly.

Kiran's features softened as he tried to reconcile with his sister. "No, Karne, I didn't mean to... Come on, don't... Ah, fuck, look, uh... gyah..." He ran a hand through his hair. He tried changing the subject. "So, about the tourney... We still need a third person..."

"Hmmmm...." His sister, distracted from her previous sorrow, looked about. She sighed dramatically and cuttlefish the small cat to her chest. "Awww, Naniiiiii, I wish you were a student! Then you could be our teammate an' help us!" The kitten mewled and curled up. Karne made some squealing sound and made an adoring face at the cat.

Kiran forced a small smile as he watched his older sister's antics. Unbidden words surged forth, fragments of an unwelcome memory. His smile wavered ever so as they came to him.

You're just like every other Misfit- greedy, deceitful, but most of all, a liar...

"Derrick, remember what we were told about the fights," even before a greeting he reminded him the warn that his Father gave them about don't kill a classmate "Morning" he said "We need a third member, We leave it at random or do you know someone?"

"Master~!" Derrick jumped up with glee as soon as he spotted Derian. However, at the reminder of Derian's Father's warning, the smile on his face was quickly replaced with a scowl. "But it's just no fun if you can't at least open them up. Haven't you ever wondered if demons have the same anatomy as a ghost or even a werewolf?" Derrick sighed. "Oh well. I guess we'll have to do with their screams of agony...great music, really, but not all that filling....."

At the mention of a third member, Derrick perked up. "Oh, I know! There's another zombie at this school, her names, uh, Kyoko? Kiki? Kola? Something like that. We should see if she'll join us." Derrick gave a big grin. "At least she'll understand our little....troubles, right?"

Suddenly distracted, Derrick dug into his pockets and pulled out a small bag of yellow candy. "Before I forget, here." Derrick took Derian's hand and put the bag in it. "I made a new batch for you. Aren't I just thoughtful, Master?" He smiled at him.

Three sets of black boots clacked on the floors of the school. Kyouki, Sirius, and their 'Leader,' Damien. Like puppies following their mother, or sheep following sheep, they tailed Damien. Not straying so much as a few meters.

His coat trailed mere centimetres behind him, his hair moved ever so slightly. A look of content was on his face as he walked towards the notice board, his face dropping when he saw who he was roomed with.

"Mikala? Really? Mika-Mi?!" He shouted, shaking slightly. He wasn't sure if he was happy or not. Sirius frowned, along with Kyouki. The two looked at eachother and smiled slightly. "Joy." Kyouki muttered.

Kyouki shuffled forwards, and saw Derrick and Derian. She smiled. "Oh, I know! There's another zombie at this school, her names, uh, Kyoko? Kiki? Kola? Something like that. We should see if she'll join us."

She stepped forwards, smirking. "My name is Kyouki. And yes, Flippy, I'll join you. Infact, I'll be glad. I get to see what the other zombies are made of. Y'know, besides bones, blood and guts."

Mikala Dutch

Mikala stood, staring hard at the bulletin board. She didn't know how long she had stared at the name next to hers but a quick smile spread on her face. Mikala was happy just to be with new people but she couldn't help but be disappointed that so many people had left Muralia. Mikala's eyes flickered over to the second paper, the one she had paid no attention to earlier. "A tournament..." she murmured softly, partly interested. After skimming over it, she moved away from the group of students crowded around the board. "Mission, look for a new team!" she said loudly as she did a small fist pump. A few people looked at her strangely but quickly resumed whatever they were doing. Mikala headed down the halls, not sure where to start.

"Where to start....where to start..." she muttered to herself as she curiously looked around her. Without realizing it, Mikala was heading towards the cafeteria, where she saw quite a few people. She beamed, happy that she was getting closer to her goal. Mikala took a piece of chocolate out her pocket, quickly popping into her mouth like a tic tac. She scanned the room, until her gaze landed on two people. Kiran and Karne, people she was familiar with and had grown to like. She did another little fist pump and quickly approached the two.

"Hi Karne! Hi Kiran!" she said, greeting the two, adding a small wave towards the kitten. "Do you have three members for your team?" she asked eagerly.

Kiran exhaled heavily and put his head down again as he idly watched Nani try to escape from his sister's adoring grasp. Karne was much to oblivious to notice how displeased the cat was, but they knew that Nani wouldn't use her claws or anything. Not on Karne.Β

"Hi Karne! Hi Kiran!" Thry turned to regard their friend Mikala, and the kitten gratefully slipped away from Karne and back over to Kiran. "Do you have three members for your team?"Β

Kiran sat up straight and smiled at his friend. "Hey Mikala. Actually, we don-" He was cut off as Karne rose suddenly and shouted happily, "Mikaaaaaaa!" She planted a foot on top of the table and launched herself over, landing next to Mikala. While her brother was still blinking in surprise at her sudden, Karne-esque action, she attacked Mikala with a bear hug.Β

"Mikamikamikamikamikamikamikaaaaaaa!" she cooed gleefully, rocking the hug from side to side as she did so. She then stopped as suddenly as she started. Karne took Mika's hand and held it high, and gestured to her extravagantly, as though presenting the winner of some contest.Β

"Kia!" she proclaimed adamantly. "Mika shall be our teammate! And together..." she released Mika's hand and did a little victorious double fist-pump, eyes alight with determination. "...we shall be VICTORIOUS!"Β

Kiran couldn't help but laugh at the spectacle, the cat held on his lap. His sister was an absolute piece of work. After recovering from the small burst of hilarity,Β he straightened up and looked at Mikala, smiling again. "So... you wanna be on our team, Mika?"

Words couldn't express the gratitude that Derian felt towards his guardian when he presented the bag with the yellow treasure, was a time of great joy practically unbeatable, he'll probably would put on his knees and worship Derrick if his father hadn't banned it expressly saying something along the lines that Derian exaggerated too much when it came to sweets and needed a bit more of self-control in that matter.

Before he could react Kola appeared, the zombie that Derrick recommended to join their team, luckily if she said that had no problems in joining the team but unfortunately she was Kyouki, Derian liked much more the name Kola since was was much shorter and easier and sounded better, the young Mors looked at the girl from head to toe without restraint and lifting a thumb declared "You're fairly well preserved for a corpse, nice to meet you Kola" the mystery of his lack of friends revealed immediately.

Now had the required quota to form a team and participate in the tournament, the good thing is that since everyone in his team was a corpse it didn't really matter much what could happen to them in the middle of the fight.

"We should look for a student council member to sign up",

"I see..." Atryom went on, confused. "I do not really understand why you wouldn't want him to join, considering-"

Darius suddenly stood up, his chair scraping against the floor. "I have to go to the student council room to get some work done and receive teams." He interrupted, a scowl on his face, "Come see me when you've found another team member." Atryom nodded at Darius's command, and stood up. He moved a step to stand beside Darius, keeping his eyes on something...

Suddenly, Atryom pushed Darius to the side, deflecting what looked to be thin, red needles. The needles of blood liquidized as Atryom hit them with his bare hands, making it look as if he had been injured. In another instant, Derrick had taken out one of his combat knives and rushed at Darius, seemingly intent on physical harm.

Without even batting an eye, Atryom stepped in Derrick's way. In one fluid motion, he grabbed Derrick's arm (the one with the knife of course), twisted it behind him, put his foot to Derrick's back, and broke the arm clean off from the shoulder. Blood splayed across the floor as he did this with an almost murderous look on his face. "What is the meaning of this?" Atryom asked coldly, keeping his foot pressed firmly on Derrick's back, "I do hope you know I cannot forgive anyone who attacks Darius."

His face pressed against the floor, Derrick laughed. "That....was....AWESOME! You guys saw that, right?! He tore my arm clean off!" He called over excitedly to Derian and Kyouki, "See Koko, we are made of just blood, bones, and guts. Hahahaha!" Derrick laughed excitedly for another minute or so, then wriggled under Atryom's firm foot. "Er..." He said to him, "Do'ya mind lettin' me go now? I kinda hafta go submit my team...."

Atryom narrowed his eyes, obviously not amused. "You just attacked my charge. How do I know you won't do it again?"

"Well....firstly, ya kinda got my arm there. I'd like it back sometime. Second, I just wanted to show that hottie over there," Somehow, he lifted his now-only arm up and pointed discreetly at Kyouki for a second, then put it back down, "what we zombies are made of. I mean, I couldn't just open up my insides now, could I? Wait.....dangit." Derrick sighed, pouting as he realized he could have just opened himself up. But then again, that wouldn't have been any fun either....

Atryom sighed, releasing his foot off Derrick's back and stepping away so he could stand. However, he did keep Derrick's arm, holding it to his side and trying to be very careful not to get too much blood on the floor. "Submit your team, and then I'll give you your arm back."

Derrick stood up, dusting himself off as much as one could with one arm, and scowled at Atryom. "Stuffy ass...." He muttered under his breath, then turned to Darius. "Yeah, I got a team to submit." Derrick began as Darius stared at him with a most disapproving glare, "Derrick Blackthorne, Derian Mors, and....uh....and..." What was her name again? Kiki? Kokori? Steve? "Kyouki Shimizu!" Derrick finished proudly. "Yeah! That's our team. They're over there." He pointed to where Derian and Kyouki were.

Darius had taken out a pad of paper and a pencil, writing down the names as Derrick said them. When he was done, he put it away. "Fine. I'll give you your team, but save the fighting for the tournament, if you know what's good for you." Darius nodded at Atryom, who tossed Derrick's arm back to him.

Derrick caught it and attached it to himself, letting it set before moving it. "Gee, thanks!" He smiled and answered excitedly, then ran back over to where Derian and Kyouki were.

Darius Grimlocke and Atryom Bravinski

Darius sighed as Derrick ran off all-too happily. "Fucking zombies." He muttered under his breath. Then, he went back to the table, took a step on the chair, and stood on top of the table. He cupped his hands and yelled out for all to hear.

"HEY. LISTEN UP. If there's anyone who would like to submit their teams, talk to either me, Fenris, Roan'n, Damien, or Derian. Teams with student council members must talk to me and CANNOT submit their own teams. You can find me in the student council room."

When he was done with his little announcement, Darius hopped off the table. Without even single word of goodbye, he simply walked out of the cafeteria.

Andri Nav'iadar and Rei Lic'Tre

"And so I stand, here at bliss's edge." Her voice was soft, echoing through the half empty room. The other inhabitant apparently never appearing after the first day. "My wings have been torn, yet none have come to mourn." Loose hands wavered through the air, light purple traces slowing chasing the small limbs. "Falling, I know none will catch me. Not even death will come to embrace me." The words flowed smoothly, only a slight meditative tone coming to her words. She was not singing, and yet no one could say it was normal talking as it contained some rhythmic patterns. Poetic, yet flawed. "By friends, cast aside, by rule, a new place to reside." Her focus seemed unbroken, delicately shifting her movements to match the small story. "To think that one life is so light, that my sin would become a blight..."

"I wish I could call, but all I did was watch her fall.." This voice echoed in response from the wall nearest the door. Obvious surprise came from Rei as she peered through the darkness."But my path hasn't been paved..... I can still go with the one I craved!" A light shone as her movements began to take place. "Even without these wings, I can catch the one I want to match! " Her voice continued, the tone changed, and rhythmic pattern altered. "If it is her sin, then I shall take her pain so she will never be stained!" Rei watched, a small smile coming to her lips, enjoying that Andri entered her small story. "From the heavens I will fall, it is with you're side that I wish to collide!"

Given the silence after Andri's little scene, it was taken the story would not be finished. "Sorry for interrupting." The slight shifting of the bed was more than enough to tell Rei her sister's new location below her feet. Quietly leaning out to flip on the small desk light she looked down towards Andri. "It's nothing, I was just having a little fun.. So what brings you to my little room Andri? Is breakfast ready?" Raising a finger, Andri's tone slightly raised. Mild eagerness taking to her voice, "Actually this isn't your room anymore." From the tone change, Rei was already in the process of trying to sit up. It was normal for Andri to engage that tone only when she was actually excited about the news she was carrying. "What do you me-" "We actually share a dorm now. It is posted by the cafeteria, room 104." Other than the excitement in her voice, she remained pretty calm. A usual trait when the two were alone.

"S-seriously!?" Rei quickly shifted to sitting on her news, perched forward almost in Andri's face. "We get to be roommates!?" Andri only nodded while keeping that small smile of hers. It was rather amazing how calm she could be when behind closed doors. However, the opposite could be said for Rei.. Tackling her sister on the bottom portion of the bed she began laughing cheerfully. "That's so awesome! Only a week in and they move us to the same room! We get to be together all night Andri!! We can talk about class, and teachers, and the other students! We also get to practice and draw together whenever we want!" Grabbing her sister's hand, Rei quickly pulled both herself, and Andri off the bed. Dragging her toward the door by her hand. "Come on I want to see the post myself!" A slight giggle came from Andri as they reached the door, happy to see the true feelings of her sister even for a moment.

A moment of true color, that would quickly wash away when the noise from beyond the door would enter. "So where is this post, Andri?" Her voice was tranquil, almost as if she had lost all hope in the surroundings. Only projecting towards Andri alone, like nothing else beyond her world. "We go this way!" Andri tugged on Rei's hand as she lurched forward. The light grip from Rei being broken as she takes lead. Her world appears to be far more open than Rei's. So loud, so obviously apparent that it tries to reach out and pull people in. "This way, this way! To the board of new room listings! Awoo" Rei stared quietly for a moment, slightly wondering what the random outburst of sound was, but came to shrug it off as the usual energetic girl Andri was.

"A.. Andri, why did you not tell me about this?" Rei spoke pretty much as soon as they reached the board. "Tell you about what?". Placing a finger on the second notice, she dropped her head to the floor. "Maybe the second notice that says attention all students in big red letters..." Taking a slight peek, Andri spoke in a useless defense, "Because that one looked boring!!" Giving her a slight glare, Rei continued reading about it, "You know it mentions there will be a tournament today.." Andri quickly push Rei to the side looking over the paper, "Seriously!? That sound like fun!" Rei took a good minute to just stare at her sister, realizing that she seriously didn't even make it past the first line of the post.

Quiet laughter began as Andri laughed, making her sister slightly curious. That is, until Andri's laughter became almost maniacal, making a few other students back away. "Andri... You are being too loud. Seriously, what deserves that kind of laughter.." Standing on her toes, she leaned angainst Andri and read over her shoulder. Barely making it to the fourth line before pausing to look at Andri in her peripherals. "Today just seems to be your lucky day doesn't it?" Giving her sister barely enough time to back up, Andri whirled around to face her. "Yep yep yep!! I get a full exercise today! And you get to be on my team!" The thought of being in a battle oriented tourney made her cringe lightly. Rei was not the biggest fan of fighting, especially when there was nothing going for her. "What?" Andri could only smile as she pointed back towards the post, "Mand~a~tor~y you have to participate". Already in a losing position, she had no choice but admit defeat. "So now you pay attention to what the post says word for word..."

"I wanna go train right now! Come on come on! To the field!" Andri already became restless, as to be expected. She liked these physically exhausting tournaments more than Rei could ever hope for. "Let's at least get breakfast first!" She would call after her energetic twin, only to receive a "Surprise me", in response. Rubbing her forehead, Rei entered the cafeteria alone.

Rei Lic'Tre

"....Surprise me...", Rei would mutter in repitition, "I should give her an uncooked egg in a sandwich or something.. Making me get the food alone." Passing through the small line slowly, she took her time to look around at the various people. Only twisting back to look into her own plate when noticing who a few of the people were. "Don't stand out. Don't stand out. The mutt is not here, the mutt did not follow me." Before she even realized, she was at the end of the line, without anything on her plate. With a light sigh, she went through the line again to actually grab food. "Seriously, to forget to grab food, what the hell was I doing.."

Making her way to a table, she would sit down and brace her head over the tray. Still slightly annoyed that she had to run through the line twice. She couldn't even remember what exactly she was thinking about that had distracted her mind so much as to not pick up food. Now is just seemed rather infuriating since it was something so small that she could easily forget. "Andri.. I think I just had a moment that I would expect... from.." Rei's eyes narrowed as she stared at the empty seat next to her. "Right..."

Now going through the line for a third time, to grab Andri's food, she comes to tapping her foot at every stop. She was becoming impatient, mainly from the anger and annoyance she held to herself for doing stupid things. Then again, it was not unusual for her to be so deep in though that she naturally closed the world around her. Andri was generally the one to snap her attention out, but now she could just close off completely and become lost. The opposite could go for her red headed counterpart though. She thinks so little it is just as easy for her to end up forgetting a thing or two.

Rei smiled to herself, thinking about how oblivios they could both be without eachother. To think, the last school they had participated in forced them to be apart. Now they would actually come to be roommates, actual roommates. Not even just running over and spend almost every night in the others room. This would be how it was actually supposed to go. "Andri.." A small exhale fell from her lips, almost as if some choked laugh wanted to erupt. "I am still mad at you for sending me alone. So no fork for you." She spoke aloud, grabbing only one set of ware to eat with. "We are together, at last.."

Andri Nav'iadar

"And only the mountain man believed I could do it!" Andri spoke, beside what seemed to be a pile of punching bags. That is because, that is exactly what it was... "Hehehe now I can get to practice and impress Rei by winning the tourney!" Grabbing a rather large tie of ropes, she began dragging the large mass across the practice field, being weary of the trees. "I wonder if she would pet my head for winning... Oh oh oh! Maybe I can make a deal with her." Her mind was completely off in her own world so to speak, by the rarity of a chance to try and impress Rei, with something she is actually better at.

Stopping before a rather large pole, that was probably actually meant to be a light post for the practice field at night until Andri found it and kind of, bent it. She threw the rope over the bend, and grabbed for it as it came down the other side. Now pulling the bags up, she watched quietly, making sure to raise slowly. The bags were awkwardly held together by a rather vast amount of duct tape. By count, there was probably about nine bags, if you didn't count what might be in that giant ball of duct tape in the middle. This was supposedly one of the training exercises that a teacher had gone through at her age. Just, less duct tape, and a much, much bigger bag that may or may not have been imbued with magic..

Andri's smile changed to a rather awkward smirk as she reared back one of her arms. Punching forward with what seemed little power due to her size and scrawny arms. However, the bag made a full reaction, bursting backwards and around the pole as it swung the full circle. After a moment, Andri jumped back, once again with a smile. "Yay!!! It works! Who else wants to try it?" She looked around to a few others around, "It's really fun!" Before she even could notice anyone even attempt to approach she turned back around to return to the sack. Doing a stretch or two, she began to run towards the sack only to stop before it, placing a hand on the ground, rearing back a leg, and kicking it full force to once again send the huge punching bag in the circle. Before it could make the second rotation, she stepped infront of it, and hit it with an open palm to counter the power behind it and bring it to a stop, which probably isn't the biggest advisory to those practicing with a punching bag..

Mikala grinned and gratefully returned the gesture. β€œKarne!” she squealed happily. β€œMy best friend!” she said, bouncing up and down as she pulled away. Mikala let out a surprised yelp as Karne grabbed her hand and held it high in the air. Her smile grew wider as she made her announcement, then dropping her hand, did a fist pump in which Mikala quickly mimicked. β€œVICTORIOUS!” she shouted.

"So... you wanna be on our team, Mika?"

Mikala turned to Kiran and did another fist pump. β€œOf course!” she said nodding. β€œAnd we will be victorious! Now that we have our team, we shall set off!” she said, a determined look on her face.

β€œRight Karne?” she asked and grabbed her hand, marching off. β€œCome Kiran!” she shouted over her shoulder. "We must submit our teams now!"

Kyouki eyed Derian up and down. "I'm well preserved? Wow. Look at me in a bikini, then you'll see the gaping hole in my chest. Heh..."

She looked at Derrick with a raised eyebrow of curiosity as he attempted to fight the pureblood and his guardian. She waved slightly to Atryom and Darius.

Damien and Sirius shuffled around thinking who would be useful in their team. "We could have Kyouki?" Sirius mumbled, looking at his boots. "Nah. Kyouki's going with Derian and Flippy."
"Really? Flippy? Wait - Do you even know his real name?"
"Er.. Ofcourse I do, Sirius.. I just.. No. I don't."
"Ha! Knew it - Oh, we could have Darius."
"Good idea."

The two smiled at eachother, and instantly made a beeline for Darius. They caught him just as he left the cafeteria. "Hey, Darius. Want to help us kick ass in the tournament?" Sirius laughed, fist pumping for emphasis. Damien smiled slightly, and in his wussy, whispery voice, muttered "Yeah. We'd take out anybody in our way. Eheh."

Darius Grimlocke

"Hey, Darius. Want to help us kick ass in the tournament?"

Darius stopped at the sound of his name, turning to see who was speaking to him. Sirius and Damien...two vampires he didn't particularly hate. Damien was on the student council, so he knew him well enough. As for Sirius...Darius didn't really know that much about him, other than he's Damien's guardian.

"Yeah. We'd take out anybody in our way. Eheh."

Darius looked them over. He'd heard they were cunning and decent in combat. He looked over at where Atryom was. He had initially planned to make a team with his own Guardian, but finding another team member was proving to be a bit difficult. Not only that, but the way he kept mentioning Kiran was getting annoying...there was a good chance he and whatever team member he chose would get in his way.

Not to mention teaming up with Damien and Sirius might actually be fun.

Darius smiled at them, his signature wicked grin filling his eyes with mirth. "Two vampires and a demon, huh? Sounds fun....ah, but I have one condition. There's a certain person I want to confront. As long as you leave that person to me, I'll fight with you. Do we have a deal?"

((Short post is short.))

Damien smiled slightly, leaning forward on his toes, waiting for Darius' answer. Sirius was a tad distracted by the snake making a lovely necklace for him. As nice as it was, he wasn't keen on being constricted by his own pets.

He pried the snake from his neck, and held it infront of him, making a strange face.

Damien looked at Darius. "We have a deal. But I think I know who you want to confront. Oh, joy." He muttered, sarcastic.

[Darius (because I'm too lazy to give him a proper heading.)]

"We have a deal. But I think I know who you want to confront. Oh, joy."

Darius just smiled and shrugged. "What can I say?" Suddenly, he looked around, locating a clock mounted on a nearby wall. "Ah, I'm late." He nodded a parting to Sirius and Damien, turning away. "The tourney is going to start soon. I'll meet you guys at the practice field." With that being said, he briskly left them.

Keeping the fast pace, he went on to locate the Student Council Room. Since he was already familiar with where it was at, he quickly found it, not to mention the plaque on the door that plainly said 'Student Council Room'. The room itself was fairly simple; when one stepped into the room, they can immediately spot a desk on the far wall that faced the door. On the left and right sides of the desk where a set of tables for meetings. On the far left side a couch and a coffee table could be seen, with a small mini-fridge next to the couch. He didn't hesitate to step inside the room, wasting no time in going straight to the desk.

He sat down, taking a moment to go through some papers on his desk. Yes, he considered it his desk, his workspace, because no one sat there and did what they needed to do but him. He was the President, after all, and even if he didn't prefer the position he actually took it seriously. Speaking of which, there was still much to do. Wait...what's this? When'd this get here? He held up a paper, examining it's contents closely.

Darius scowled in confusion. How did this...how did they....? HOW DID THEY KNOW?! His eye twitched a bit as he shook the paper as if he were trying to strangle it. WHO DOES THIS?! He continued to 'strangle' the paper for a few more minutes before finally calming down. He sighed to himself. Well, it can't be helped. Better get to work. With that, he set the paper down and grabbed a rather small phone, which was an intercom. He pressed a number on the keypad.

Throughout the school, students would be able to hear the intercom flaring to life as Darius spoke. "Good day, students." He began as way of greeting, "The tournament has been moved. Instead of beginning after lunch, it will be starting within the next hour. Teams for the tournament are...again, they are....." Darius relayed the teams over the air, repeating it for whomever might not have caught it the first time. "You and your opponents will be called when everyone has arrived to the practice field. Make your way there now.....again, the tournament will be starting within the hour. Students are to make their way to the practice field." Darius put down the little phone, thus ending the broadcast.

Sighing once again, Darius folded the paper with the teams and opponents on it and put it in his pocket. Then, he stood up. So much to do, so little time. First, check back with the teachers and make sure they received the papers. Secondly, round up the other Council members and have them help out. Then, make sure students are getting their lazy asses over to the practice field like they're supposed to. After that, locate any stragglers and beat the crap out of them make sure they make it to the tournament after distributing punishment for being late. And then, finally, locate his own team. Darius reached into his pocket, pulling a small pocketwatch he had taken to carrying around ever since he started his work as Student Council President. There's not much time. What a pain...if I had the other Council member's numbers, I could just call. Dammit, I knew I was forgetting something the other day!

He sighed yet again as he left the room rather briskly, determined to start hunting people down. There was always so much to do, so little time....
