mac#FDBD72 - THOUGHTS
"Of course! Merci madame, I'll start packing now. Good day to you." The line went dead as Dane Virginie hung up, and Livie could only jump excitedly in place at the news. She actually got into the program. She really did. Of course, she hoped nothing bad had happened to the original participant, but quite frankly, her happiness at being given the chance overshadowed any feelings of concern. The news was well-received by her mothers, who made noises about missing her, to which she simply laughed and gave them an affectionate hug.
"Oh don't worry Mama; we live in Paris so it won't be difficult to make time to visit." Truth be told, she actually had no need for the apartment provided with the program, which was likely a factor as to why she didn't make the initial cut. But there was no use worrying over details such as those. "Now help me pack! I'll need all the help I can get if I'm to make it by dinner."
Rather than bring all her things, her birth mother decided it would be easier to drop off majority of her things tomorrow on her way to work. That was how she only wound up bringing a large backpack to Résidence Sarrhail, letting her have the pleasure of time. She'd have arrived earlier but then she'd decided to take a small... okay, large detour. Was she to blame that there was a beautiful garden right next to their apartment building? It was the perfect place to hunt materials for next project.
Which would explain that by the time she stepped into Room 301, she looked liked she'd crawled through dirt, with leaves stuck in her long blonde hair and a sizeable pile of twigs nestled in her arms. Next to her less than charming appearance, her trademark smile seemed blindingly bright.
"Hello everyone!" Making herself right at home, she placed her haul on the coffee table next to Adrian's laptop, uncaring of the dirt she was possibly bringing in. "Adeline Baudin had to drop out of the program due to some family circumstances, so I'll be the one to take her place."
"I'm Livie Brisbois, a multi- oh!" Golden eyes lit up in recognition at the sight of the ginger. She practically launched her small form at him, nearly toppling the both of them over if Basile weren't used to her antics by now. The French she spoke was fast and excitable, practically gibberish to those who weren't used to the language. "Basile! I actually got into the program. Aren't you happy for me? I was so heartbroken when I got the news that I wasn't chosen."
After finally letting go of her deathhold on the taller male (and probably accidentally rubbing some of her filth onto him), she finally addressed the rest of the group, continuing to speak in her fast-paced French.. "Who's my partner? I got so excited that I didn't even read the letter yet and just asked Madame Virginie about the address."
It appeared simple with a few ornaments here and there from home, but in one corner of the room, near the given desk was a large mic and a few other instruments that may have caused any music major to jump in glee- it was of their habitat.
Nodding in satisfactory, she made her way to the main room, wondering if the tenets were still laying out their plan only to spot an unfamiliar face. She blinked with concealed surprise.
"I'm Livie Brisbois, a multi- oh!"
The stranger now known as Livie was indeed a girl, and a rather eye catching one as well with bright hair and a bright demneor- it was hard not to notice her. Tilting her head, she continued to examine the girl, before being taken by surprise with her words, "Who's my partner? I got so excited that I didn't even read the letter yet and just asked Madame Virginie about the address."
Feeling a mix of excitment and confusion, she raised her hand in a brief wave, "Hello Ms.Brisbois, Im Erza.." A soft smile pulled at her lips, "Its nice to meet you partner."
While those words of greeting left her mouth, her mind was running with one question, 'how will things go now?'. With Adeline, she already resolved herself with being friends, but with her gone, she was curious if the same resolve will occur with Livie.. Was she nice? Would she like her? Would she leave? Basically, Erza was being cautious, but her free-spirited smile did not betray her- Erza was glad she was here. "If you like, ill help you put your bags into the room before we.." She paused, not really sure what they were planning to do as a group, "eat..?"
