Setting
The iron trees that are grown here yield a bark that, when heated, is harder than most metals. These trees grow tall enough that the canopy houses the many beastmen who both care for and defend these unnaturally fertile forests.
The housing in the canopy is made up of strips of bark, leaves, grasses, and animal skins spread inbetween various branches and trunks as support. These are connect by bridges, ladders, and staircases made in smilar ways.

Today I stand ready to go out and study the humans and their recent aggression. I have taken very little so that I may move as fast as I can, and can aviod being seen by the angered humans. I have no food, as I should be able to buy food from the traveling merchents and when I get to the human lands I shall hunt my food.
Even though I have been prepairing for this journey, I still feel like something will go wrong. However, I am quite curious to see what the humans are like in their native lands. I will write down other major stops or parts of my journey in this book.
Signed,
Wolf
