He looks to the dragon there, then shrugs and heads over, "Why not? Why not go up to the dragon?"
It, he, sighed sadly.
"It is now, due to this twist of fate, up to you to stop the goddess Verdandi's misguided plans from bearing their true fruit. By destroying the the Stone, she has set that which we stalled in motion... without we gods to fight beside mortals. It... appears that in a way the Dark One was right. Only an army of those touched by the very wild magic he attempted to corrupt can stop the coming of the Jotuns and keep this world alive."
During the statement, Coars received images of the world freezing and giants from beyond this plane laying waste to everything in sight.
"Magic is real, that one that destroyed the stone is an actual magical goddess though I imagine weakened, and now if I don't get an army up and running, Ragnarock is around the corner and the world will be a frozen wasteland for anything but the Ice Giants. You know, I'm starting to see why when some say 'May you live in interesting times' can be considered a curse. This is really really scary as well as interesting."
He looks down, "How do I do it? I don't know magic or how to, help others get it."
He glances up at the dragon again, wondering.
"Will you do this to save your world?"

He looks up at him, steel in his eyes once more, "It's far more terrifying of thinking of all the things I'll lose if I don't do this. So, what do I need to do?"
The dragon was gone.
"Farewell... and good luck my son," it's voice said, fading away as if forever.
He winced as it felt so final. Giving himself over like that, had to be something he'd never done before.
"I'll, try and make this all work."
Coars was dedicated and ready to go for it. He didn't feel he wasn't afraid, but he did feel like he could face it now.
