n i c k n a m e . . . "I've been called Russ or RJ. Either one's fine but don't even think about calling me Russell. You'll regret it."

a g e . . . "Oh, twenty-one, totally..." RJ is eighteen

r o l e . . . Teenager 2

h e i g h t . . . "I've always been a tall kid" RJ stands at 6'4"

w e i g h t . . . "That's a bit personal, isn't it?" He weighs 210 pounds with a muscular build

e t h n i c i t y . . . "You're pretty nosy, aren't you?" Russell is mostly British and Canadian with some French mixed in.

a b i l i t y . . . "I'm a pretty special guy..." Russell has the power of mental projection. Mental projection allows him to think of an object and, once he has a clear idea of it, materialize it. This includes anything he can hold or touch although larger objects are more exhausting to create. He can't produce food or drink and he can't create anything living. His powers also enable him to project a thought into someone's mind. The thoughts range from images to simple ideas but they do not affect what the person says or does, it may influence them though. It is more of a way to communicate between himself and another person or a way to torture information out of them.

t a t t o o s / s c a r s . . . On his right arm, he sports a long, dark red Chinese dragon that wraps around and around his forearm and bicep from his wrist to his shoulder. He has a large, ornate cross on the under arm of his left arm and he has the French flag on his left bicep, waving proudly with the words "Vive la RΓ©sistance!" above it. His legs sport a few small tattoos and he has a lot around his collarbones and more squished in between the ones on his arms. On his upper back, he has a large bald eagle, once the symbol of freedom. As for scars, he has many scars along his arms, legs, and chest but the most prominant ones are on his right shoulder, which looks like a series of stab wounds, and a large scar running along his mouth from the upper left corner to the lower right.

a p p e a r a n c e . . . RJ stands at a very tall 6'4" and weighs over 200 pounds. He has a decent layer of muscle and is in prime physical condition with well-chiseled muscles. He has messy jet black hair and he usually likes styling it into a fauxhawk. As for his eyes, Russ has light grayish-green eyes with a circle of yellow around the pupil. He has lightly tanned flesh from being outside so much. His hands are calloussed and hardened from physical work. Russell's jaw is strong and a bit finer than most, though he usually clenches it to look more intimidating. Around friends, he's good humored and smiles constantly.

Personality

p e r s o n a l i t y . . . RJ is a rebellious young man who fights for his cause, no matter what the odds are. He is determined and doesn't let stupid things like "not enough supporters" or "the government" deter him. In his eyes, all humans are equal and the bastards who say they control the country aren't any better. He is a "dare-devil" and takes risks, even if they may not be the smartest ideas. He can be a bit hot-headed and brash, becoming instantly dangerous and aggressive if those he loves are threatened or in trouble. He still believes the "American Dream" and wants everyone else to be able to live it, like their ancestors once did. Russ has a strong sense of justice and knows that killing people for being in love is unjust and absolutely insane. Occasionally, he'll act defensive and a bit stuck-up, but only if he's trying to impress someone else. Nothing can hold him back- he's a free spirit. Russell wants nothing more than to just get on his motorcycle and drive away until it runs out of fuel. But, he knows he can't. He's a leader and wants to help organize a rebellion as soon as possible.

c r u s h . . . TBA

d a n g e r l e v e l . . . Let's put Russell at an seven. He's not much of a threat to others unless they've done something wrong to him or have treated him badly. If anything, he's a threat to himself with all of the stunts he tries to pull.

[b]a s p i r a t i o n s . . . RJ wants to live in a world where he can love someone without being in trouble for it. He wants a world like the one generations before him must have lived in. On top of that, he really wants to become a police officer.

d o m i n a n t e m o t i o n . . . Rebellious; RJ loves being the center of attention in a group and constantly fights for his cause, no matter what the results are. He occasionally acts a bit stuck-up and defensive.

q u i r k s / o d d i t i e s . . . Since he was fourteen, Russ has been trying to get high off of anything he can find. He's been busted by the school countless times for this but doesn't really mind. Instead of getting high off of glue like he used to, he keeps a stash of cigarettes under a loose floorboard in his room. He also bites his lip a lot when worried or thinking.

s k i l l s . . . Russell is a well-rounded individual in the outside world. He can pick locks like nobody's business and hardly makes a sound while doing so. He is stronger than most and can intimidate most people. He has good people skills and can communicate well with others, using natural charm and charisma to win them over. On top of this, he is a natural leader and commands respect, giving out respect and reassurance in return.

f i v e g o o d t r a i t s . . . Natural leader; strong willed; determined; hard-working; caring; free-spirited

f i v e b a d t r a i t s . . . Smokes; hot-headed; brash; eager; loud; daredevil

l i k e s

β™₯ His guitar; Russ learned to play the guitar from a janitor and, in turn, inherited this guitar when the man died.
β™₯ Talking; RJ loves being able to talk freely with people he trusts and is pretty chatty.
β™₯ Being in control; he enjoys being the one calling the shots and making the decisions.
β™₯ Dogs; Russell once nursed a puppy he found in gutter from infancy to his first year of life before a groundskeeper found the dog and "put it to sleep".
β™₯ Love; he is, deep down, a needy person who likes having someone tell him they love him

d i s l i k e s
✘ Cats; RJ can't stand cats mostly because an angry Persian cat clawed him when he was a little boy.
✘ Being inside; he hates being cooped up indoors and would rather be out in the sun.
✘ Being alone; solitary confinement and Russ do not go well together. He gets upset when he's alone.
✘ Government; he hates the controlling ways of the government and how they oppress the people.
✘ Ignorance; he hates people who try to ignore how horrible this world has become and who think things will get better, because they won't.
✘ Eavesdropping; though he's guilty of eavesdropping a lot himself, Russ can't stand those who listen to the conversations of others.

s e x u a l i t y . . . He's always identified as gay but, lately, he's decided he's bisexual

a v e r a g e c l o t h i n g . . . RJ wears practical clothing which is usually jeans and a t-shirt, or basketball shorts and a t-shirt if he's working out. As for shoes, he wears either a pair of steel-toed black work bootsor a pair of red Converse. He always has a black leather jacketon and his mirrored sunglasses.

k e e p s a k e s . . . Russell's favorite objects are his motorcycle and guitar, but he constantly wears dogtags with the words "Love You Always- Eddy" inscribed on it.

w e a p o n . . . As for weapons, RJ usually uses anything he can materialize quickly. His favorite weapons are baseball bats and crowbars, though.

History

b i o . . . Russell James Armstrong was born in a lab, as a test-tube baby. He was raised in a house alongside ten other children, all roughly his age. The woman who raised them was a stout, motherly lady who absolutely adored her job and loved each child equally. She'd regularly sob for a week when one of them left her care. It was here that little Russ was given his nicknames and, occasionally, picked on because of how innocently he acted.

When he turned five, he was sent off to elementary school with a boy who grew up beside him in the boarding house. His name was Edwin, nicknamed β€œEddy” by Russell. The boys were inseparable, spending each waking moment with each other. They'd climb trees in the garden together, skip class when the other was sick, or console each other in rough times. They were like brothers and vowed to never separate from each other. He realized around age seven that he had powers and would conjure anything he wanted to, although he wouldn't do it in Eddy's presence, simply because Edwin didn't like the idea of powers and hardly even used his own. RJ was never talented in school and usually got by with C's or D's, not really failing but making his teachers upset. Eddy, on the other hand, flew through school with straight A's and honors. Around this time, in seventh grade, Russ was taught how to play the guitar, an old instrument, by a janitor who claimed he was born back before the wars. Later, RJ would inherit this guitar.

When they were in eighth grade, both boys attended a party in one of the dorms and were playing an...intense game of Truth or Dare. The kids had just covered the early 2000s in their American History classes and were intrigued by the great amount of sex that had occurred during the time, especially "gay sex". In turn, RJ was dared simply to kiss Edwin (nobody was brave enough to dare them to do the dirty). Though both boys were at first reluctant, they realized after the kiss how truly amazing it was. They became closer and closer after that and could easily be called a couple...although no one dared to call them a couple. Homosexual couples, let alone couples, were greatly frowned upon.

However, someone dropped a hint to law enforcement who took it upon themselves to stop by the dorm the two shared one night when the boys were in tenth grade. Inside, they realized their suspicions were true. One officer threatened to kill Eddy and started to advance toward him when Russ materialized a baseball bat and swung it around, hitting the man sharply in the temple and knocking him out. He tried to hit the man again, but was restrained and shoved against a wall as another officer beat Eddy repeatedly until the boy ceased to stir. They simply left RJ's dorm after that, taking Eddy's body with them.

For the next year, RJ was a wreck. He took up smoking and would illegally fight outside of the school for money and other prizes such as his motorcycle. It was as if he hoped growing stronger would allow him to avenge his dead boyfriend. His want to rebel has also grown since Eddy's death and he's taken to wearing a dog-tag Eddy had gotten engraved for him back in ninth grade.

o n e g r e a t e s t f e a r . . . Being unable to love someone, or dying, or watching someone he loves die. He actually fears quite a few things.

o n e g r e a t e s t s e c r e t . . . RJ nearly killed a cop who threatened him for kissing his boyfriend. He also witnessed the death of said boyfriend.

t h e m e s o n g . . . "No Church in the Wild" by Kanye West and Jay-Z

o t h e r . . . He owns a motorcycle which he likes to call Sally. She's a Ecosse Titanium Series RR Limited Edition motorcyclethat he won in a boxing match (against the rules of the boarding house). He also owns a used, slighty worn, Gibson guitar that was given to him by a janitor who also taught him how to play.

So begins...
