"Well, I've analysed the local area." Gwydion replied. "There are quite a few portals opening up around here, but I don't believe any other people have snuck into this world. I think I can fix it all though, it's going well so far."

Izzy sighed in relief at Gwydion's answer, there was hope of getting home yet. Gwydion however kept his head forward, it was true that the portals were opening up round here and it was lucky that no one else had come through into this world but he couldn't help but worry that Seri and Izzy's portals would open up somewhere that required a bit of travelling to get to. Atleast Gwydion could be certain that the portals would not move out of the country for a good decade or so. He had spent many years researching the patterns and habbits of different portals.
What concerned him was why so many portals had opened up nearby recently. There hadn't been this many since he was stranded here....
She then lay back on the mattress and looked around. The room was slightly dull and gloomy, inspiring Seri to brighten things up. "Hey, Izzy," she called to her friend, "do you want to go outside and pick some flowers? Or something like that, to give this place a bit of life. Make it feel more like home."
Gwydion overheard Seri speaking and piped in, "That's a brilliant idea! I'm sure a girls' touch would do this place a lot of good."

"Yes, that would be fun, it'll be interesting to see the types of flowers they have round here aswell." She commented before standing up and heading off after Seri.
Gwydion watched them stand up to leave, "You girls have fun then, I probably sound like your mothers now but don't go too far. Wouldn't want to get lost eh?"
"Don't worry, we won't." Izzy replied quickly, setting off out the door.
However when she went to pluck one from the ground, some spikes dug into her skin. Quickly she pulled her hand away and examined the cuts she'd just gotten. Wiping the blood of on her shirt, she then took more care and managed to pull up a few of the wonderful flowers without hurting herself.

There was a bush with some big circular flowers, Izzy admired how they were made up of smaller flowers clumped together. They were a pale, pastel blue colour, like the sky but with a slightly pink-ish tint to them. Snapping the branch just bellow the bunch of little flowers so she could collect the whole group of little flowers alltogether Izzy smiled. She took two of these before continuing her search further along.
