Murphy is rather mysterious, and in fact, very little is known about him. He doesn't meet with his 'employees'. His age and appearance are unknown, although it is rumoured that he has pulled off daylight robberies solo, taking more than five million dollars by himself, though these rumours come from people who've never seen him in the flesh, so their validity is questionable. When he talks to the team, it is always through some kind of voice changer.

All anyone really knows is that he's in the know on the black market, and if he's got a job for you, you know it will be worth the money.
