Samuel is like any child. He sees the best in others, loves to talk, and is overall innocent. He has a big heart and hates to see others get hurt. He does whatever he can to make others happy and keep everyone in the best mood possible. He is an extreme optimist and couldn't be otherwise, even if he tried.

| History |

Samuel is the sixth out of eight kids. He loves his family and would do anything for them. On the eve of his 9th birthday, Samuel was outside playing catch with his eldest brother when the van pulled up. His brother was currently in the backyard getting the baseball Sam had thrown too far, so by the time his brother heard Sam's screams it was too late. He was being shoved into a van and stolen from his big, happy family. Samuel doesn't resist and has never resisted the experiments at the facility. He believes hes there for a reason, and one day his family will come and save him.

Elani released her tattoo wings and watched them flutter. She started to fly up wards, but there was a chain on her foot holding her down. She had a bit more freedom than the others because of how close she was with the head scientist. But he wouldn't let her roam free. No matter how much she begged. But today was the day. All the subjects were going to escaped and go home. Elani didn't want to be tested on anymore and she was tired of watching other people get tested on. The scientist was causing pain. Not just to the subjects but the families. They have been missing for years. But now this is her chance. Crispin had given her a job. Look out. That was it. She just had to make sure that the scientist didn't figure out what they were doing. Elani floated near the door that kept all the subjects in the room. Through the tiny window she saw that the hallway was cleared. This was it. All or nothing. "Crispin. It's clear."

Crispin was quietly stretching the metal of his handcuffs. His hands and feet were bound and then he was thrown into a caged. They didn't want Crispin to escape. He was too strong and fast, he would have gotten past them all once he was out. And to make sure that he didn't get out, Crispin was given sedatives every time he was thrown in. He would be to groggy to break anything. But over the years he calculate how long they lasted. He would be able to get out this time. And he was taking all his friends with him. Once the handcuffs broke, he gently put them down on the ground. Next were the handcuffs on his feet. That was when Elani flew towards the door. That meant the plan was too start soon. He looked around at the other people trapped here as well to let them know that it was time. "Crispin. It's clear." The handcuffs on his feet broke and he pushed them to the side. He neared his front bars and pulled at them hard. Slowly they were bending enough for him to crawl out. He made his way over to Elani to break her chain that way she was a better look out. Next he was to free Sam and Tatyana. They had to get a key card.

Tatyana was pressed up against the back wall of her cell, watching as the others started their part of the escape mission. She watched as Crispin freed Elani and Tatyana knew she was going to be freed next, along with Samuel. Samuel’s cell was located directly two down from her own, and she turned her head in that direction. Her sight expanded to his cell and she watched as he struggled uselessly with the chains. She watched the his face twist in agitation and helplessness. She turned her head away from the sight and took a quick check of the halls further out and the perimeter as well. Guards surrounded the doors leading outside, and a few wandered leisurely about, and the security thickened the closer to the exit and stairwells. This wasn’t going to be easy, and she wondered if they could actually do it. Tatyana counted how many there were and then moved towards her door, waiting for Crispin to arrive. She wasn’t thrilled she couldn’t free herself, but she knew she needed him to do it for her. She hated relying on others.

After about five minutes trying to free himself, Samuel gave up. He knew he wasn’t strong enough to break the chains, and he knew what he could do and that he couldn't help either. He had no choice but to wait for Crispin or of the others to get him. He puffed his cheeks and slumped against the wall. He knew the plan like the back of his hand: Crispin frees him, he goes with Tatyana to get a keycard, meet up with the others, stay up with them, get out in one piece. Samuel knew he could do it; he could keep up with others and he knew he could get the key. He wanted to do more, but some had their doubts. At least he thought so. He wanted nothing more than to protect everyone. With what he could do, he knew he could. If anyone got hurt, he didn't know what he would do. He sighed and chugged on his chain again.

It was quiet in the facility…too quiet. Jae leaned against the bars of his cell, watching their fearless leader carry out the plan. He was given the job of maintaining everyone together, which was easy enough for him. Not to mention he helped to devise the plan, but now it was out of his hands, that is until they came to free him. He could do many things but free himself from chains and handcuffs was not one of them. He closed his eyes for a second, scanning as far as he could for brain activity and his face twisted into a repulsed expression. "Gross" he muttered to himself, blinking his eyes a few times. He then relaxed and closed them again, limiting his range only to the five of them. "Good news, most of the guards are sleeping. I unfortunately tapped into one of their dreams and I can safely say I'm scarred for life" Jae thought, feeling his thoughts into the other's heads. "On that note, be careful what you think, all lines are open" he explained, keeping the brain waves strong enough for everyone to be able to communicate with one another. Though it was draining and would probably end up giving him an immense headache, he thought his friends could use some encouragement. "Hey Sam, are you doing okay over there?".

Alexina wasn't the type to give up an opportunity to break rules, but for some reason right now she was exhausted and all she wanted to do was sit in her sell and sleep. Possibly forever. She had recently been thinking a lot about home and her sick mother and that never failed to bring her mood down. She watched as the others began to carry out their escape plan and sighed, letting her shoulders relax. Not two seconds later, however, her head was invaded with thoughts. Not her own, but everyone else's. "Can you give a fair warning next time to plan on invading our heads, Korea?" she thought and groaned out loud, only to earn a chuckle from the other. She rolled her eyes and waited for her shackles to be broken. Her eyes wandered around the room from one of them to the other, finally landing on Tatyana. She seemed as unamused as Alex felt right now. "How many guards are there exactly?". She thought it necessary to ask.

Crispin moved over to Tatyana's cell. He gripped the metal bars and pulled them right off the cage. He plucked each bar, one by one. He set them down so that they didn't make a noise. Attracting attention to themselves would be a dead giveaway. Crawling inside he pulled the chains from her feet and handcuffs from her arms. Next it was Sam. Crispin slid over and did the same for him. Once he was freed, Crispin went over to the door. He did have others to free, but he needed to break the lock so that they could get out of the room. Checking out the tiny window he saw the hallway was cleared. Jaw had pretty much said the guards were sleeping. Which meant they would be able to hear the lock break. Crispin was going to get tired pretty soon. Using all his strength to break them out. This metal was cheap. He gripped the door handle and ripped it right from the door. He handed it to Elani. Turning to Sam and Tatyana it was time for their plan. "Get a keycard. Meet my the east wing doors. Don't die." It was pretty simple instructions with a difficult path.

Now England, needed to free Jae since he would be able to direct them away from guards and such. Also he helped devise the rest of the plan. He broke through and freed Korea. Next was Scotland, whom did not seem very amused. Granted Jae was jus in their head. He moved out of her cage and stood up. He needed a break from using his strength. "We have to go."

Elani kept watch. Nothing was happening and no one was moving. Jae said it was because they were asleep. But not all of the guards could be asleep. It just so happens to be the guards in the hallway. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched Crispin free Samuel. South Africa wanted to make her way over to him to make sure that he was okay. But she stayed where she was. Tatyana could take care of him. At least until they got out. England handed her the door handle and she set it down. He explained what the two were supposed to do. "Be careful.." she whispered to them. It was mostly meant for Sam. He may not be hers, but she felt that way. They were off and Elani was back to keeping watch. But something was weird. Closing her eyes she could sense the emotion of those in the nearby room. The usual calm demeanor emotion that was there when they were sleep was no more. They were alert. "I think the guards are waking up..."

Tatyana watched as Crispin freed her and she rolled her ankles and wrists after he did so. The chains had been tight enough to leave her joints stiff and sore. She looked at Sam who was being freed now. He stood up and stretched quickly. Both Tatyana and Sam felt the thoughts of others flood their minds and Sam gave a mental thumbs up to Jae. “Yeah. Sore but ready.” Then Elani verbally jumped in. Sam smiled reassuringly at her. “I’ll be fine, but thank you. Don’t mess up your wings.” He waved to her before turning and joining Tatyana. One last run over with the plans from Crispin. Get it and get out with everyone. Should be simple enough.

Tatyana scanned the area and nodded her head. “South Africa’s right; stirring on the ground floor and along the halls of this floor. Scotland, there are 15 on this floor, double on the ground floor especially surrounding the exits. Security is tight and they’re armed, but nothing serious. Easy fight. Just don't be seen.” Tatyana turned to Sam and reached out her hand. Sam locked his fingers with hers and he relaxed his body, letting himself and Ukraine disappear to the naked eye. He had a simple task. He couldn't let the others down.

Tatyana and Samuel went through the door leading into the hallway, she infront of him by a few steps. Tatyana led the way around the halls, remaining pressed to the walls and quietly breathing. They continued along the walls until they ran across one of the few guards still sleeping. Tatyana scanned him and the surrounding area once more before stealing a keycard off of him. She slipped the little piece of plastic out of his belt and stuffed it quickly into her pocket. She nodded at Samuel and thought to the others. “Got it. Heading towards east wing now.” Tatyana signaled to Sam, who peaked his head around the corner and nodded back at her.

Elani landed on her feet as Crispin freed the others. It was time to get a move on. Elani could possibly get the other guards to go back to sleep, but messing with their emotional state, but they wouldn't sleep for long. Jae was keeping this escape plan quite interesting. Tapping into the minds of the guards was very risky. But he was doing it with ease. To think the guards were trying to find vacation time. With no experiments to protect there was no need for them to work. Endless vacation time. It was hard for Elani to express her own emotions right now because she was tapped into a guards emotional state. It was the one closes to them. Manipulating his alert state, she managed to calm his body down enough to make him go back to sleep. Once he was asleep, she left his body. Her wings went back to their tattoo state and were shifting colors. It was a light grey to match how nervous she was. "South Africa it will be alright." He whispered. SHe nodded, but it didn't change the colors of her wings.

Crispin turned towards Jae and Alex. He looked over them to make sure that there wasn't any more chains binding them to the room. Bending down he grabbed one of the metal bars. With his strength and this bar he will get them out of here. "Scotland confuse the guards on our floor. Korea find us a route with the least amount of guards." Crispin would usually give that task to Ukraine, but it would be better for her to be with Sam. Keep him safe. Elani looked down at the metal bar in the hands of their fearless leader. "What are you going to do with that?" Crispin smirked a little. "This is for whoever gets in the way." Crispin has some unfinished business with these people that turned him into a monster. England opened the door and walked out, gesturing the rest of the group follow. He needed Jae close to him so he knows which way to go.

Sam and Tatyana rounded the corner. They were currently at the south wing and they needed to make their way to the east wing. It wasn't too far. Sam tightened his grip on Tatyana's hand and she gave his a handle a small pat. "Don't worry. They can't see us, they can't touch us." Sam nodded his head and Tatyana continued mentally giving directions around the halls. "Go right, stay against the wall. Cross over to the left. Don't put your foot there, move your arm an inch over. His face is right there." Sam listened to all her instructions. Although he was hiding her with his gift, he couldn't see her well. He could feel her when he accidently bumped into her, but he was relying totally on her for his movements.

They were right by the east wing when security began to thicken. Tatyana paused and counted how many were in the hall. Sam stumbled into her and thought frantically. "What happened? Why did you stop?"
Tatyana finished counting and pressed herself against the corner wall. "7 guards all alert. Stay close and don't bump into one." Sam swallowed nervously and peaked his head around the corner. Most of the guards were against the wall, with one pacing the floor. They needed to slither past them without being noticed. Sam took a deep breath. He will not mess up. There is too much to lose.

Tatyana tugged on Sam's hand and together they proceeded forward. Tatyana was careful to avoid the guards against the wall. The halls were wide enough for same and Tatyana to walk side by side, but she was not going to risk that. If even one of the guard tea positioned himself, then they would bump into either of them. They had to stay in a line. The guard walking along the hall turned around and started to make his way back, headed towards the two. Tatyana slid her and Sam sideways, a few inches above an unoccupied space of the wall. Sam held his breath as the guard passed and then quietly exhaled. Tatyana moved again, pulling Sam with her. They continued quickly along the hall as they could. Sam kept up with Tatyana's long strides as best he could. He stayed close, until a guard stretched his leg out and Sam stumbled over it. The guard paused and immediately lifted his gun. Sam froze, half bent over. Tatyana felt his weight shift and she paused briefly. "Sam, why did you..go! Move!" Tatyana grabbed his hand, yanking him forcefully towards her. There was no room for errors. If they didn't get out now they wouldn't ever. The guard stared at nothing as they disappeared around the corner. He turned to his comrade and motioned to him.

"At the east wing. Need to move, now. Hurry up. Potential problem with a guard. Tatyana thought and she watched the guard along with the others. They were certainly making their way, but so might the guard. The others needed to hurry. She and Sam couldn't stand in one spot just waiting. That could cost them their life if discovered.

Crispin continued to lead the group with the direction of Jae. He could only imagine how much effort this took. Crispin couldn't turn off and on his abilities like the others so it didn't take much effort. He was just stronger and faster. Alex was close enough to keep up and work her magic at the same time. For every guard that she missed, forced Crispin to use the bar. Elani just tried not to tap into the guards emotions or she would feel their pain. That would cause set backs. She stayed straight ahead and tried to find Samuel's emotion. It would ease her nerves to know that he was safe. By the panic of Tatyana it seems that they were being close to caught. Elani sprout her tattoo wings to move a bit faster. They needed to hurry up. Her Samuel was in trouble. Crispin didn't think they were going to get there in time. He turned to Jae. "Switch to the fastest route to where they are. I will take out the rest of the guards." Crispin picked up speed and ran backwards down some of the halls they walked by. He fought many of the guards. It wasn't safe for Crispin to go off on his own, but he was the fastest. he could easily keep up. Elani naturally tapped into the Jae's emotional reserve, she needed to boost his adrenaline. It would help and get him to move faster. Elani then did the same to Alex. Elani can't mess with her own reserve, but with her wings she would be able to keep up with them. "Stay invisible Sam. We are on our way."

Tatyana and Sam stayed pinned against the wall of the east wing, slowly making their to the others in the opposite direction they had just come from. Tatyana checked the location of the others and ran through options in her head. Stay pinned in one spot and wait for either the guard or the others, whoever got to them first. Go and join the others. Go and take out the one guard. Just then Jae’s voice came in her head. ”The guard is definitely suspicious.” Tatyana closed her eyes, frustrated, and crossed off option three. If the guard had informed one of his comrades, and then that guard came around the corner and just didn’t come back, she knew that would do nothing but make their situation worse. Oh how she hoped Crispin wasn’t killing everyone! Talk about being suspicious. It was easy for her two check to places at once, but she had chosen to block the others out during her and Sam’s part of the mission. She looked at Sam, who she could tell was getting antsy. “Stop worrying. You need to focus. If you get worked up we’re both dead.”

Sam heard everyone in his head, and it wasn’t helping with the nerves. He had just given away his and Tatyana’s location. There was no way a guard would overlook that. ”Try to stay calm guys, we’re almost there.” “Stay invisible Sam. We are on our way.” “Stop worrying. You need to focus. If you get worked up we’re both dead.” Sam shook out his free hand and rolled his shoulders. Calm. Stay calm. He thought about getting out and what the world looked like beyond the doors. He suddenly wanted nothing more than to go outside and climb a tree. He smiled to himself, thoughts of his brothers and sisters flooding his mind. His family was on the other side. He immediately contacted the others. ”Come on guys. Our family’s are waiting. I’m okay. I’m under control, I promise.” Tatyana immediately wrapped her other hand around the one Sam was holding. Yes, their families were on the other side waiting for them. Tatyana pulled Sam lightly against the wall, right next to a door that needed a keycard. She would wait for the others. If anyone came, she would end them. Nothing would get near her or Sam.

Crispin was happy he could leave Jae in charge. But he felt bad that Korea was going to be using so much energy to do so. He would have to make sure that he hurried up with these hallways to get back to the group. England was having too much fun with this though. He was swinging left and right. It only took one blow for each other them before they were down. When he felt as though most of the guards were down, he ran around trying to find his group. Elani was trying not to let teh emotions affect her, but because of the mind link she couldn't help it. She was sad. She hasn't seen her family in years. Elani doesn't even know if they are looking for her anymore. But she was happy that she would be able to see them again. Africa managed to keep up with. He could feel the emotion from Sam and he smiled a bit. He was wondering what his family was up too and if they were looking for him. Crispin tried to continue to focus on getting everyone out before wondering about his family. Crispin found the others with a semi small smile on his face. They were all in one peace. Grabbing the key card from Sam he slid it on the door. It should lead them right outside. But there were more guards that clearly didn't appreciate Crispin swinging a metal pole around. They started shooting at them. Crispin was trying to get everyone out so that they wouldn't get shot. He started running at their speed to make sure they were keeping up. When they were away enough, he looked around for a head count, but someone was missing. Elani had gotten shot in the wing and dropped by the door. The emotions slowed her up and she wasn't keeping up. They grabbed her and went to throw her in a different cage. "Africa is still inside."

Tatyana had thought she waited for an hour before the others showed up. She knew she hadn't, but it certainly felt like that. She was getting tired. She hadn't had this much exercise or excitement in years. The others eventually reached her and Sam and the two sighed in relief. If he could've, Sam would've made everyone invisible right then and there. However, he was having trouble keeping himself and Tatyana concealed under such conditions.

The key card they had stolen was swiped through the door, and bullets immediately flew towards them. Sam gave a small yelp, withdrawing his hand from Tatyana's, exposing the two. He outstretched his hands and threw a force fielding around them in a desperate attempt to protect them. He tried to cover everyone. He could feel himself running straight off adrenaline. He ran with the others, Tatyana half dragging him as he held the force field up. He didn't know how effective it was in this very instant, but he knew he didn't want to get shot. Tatyana and Sam ran side by side behind the others. Crispin assured everyone was out, and they kept running. Sam ran until his legs went numb and he was gasping for air. Tatyana slumped against a tree when they eventually stopped. Crispin went around for a head count and they were one person short.

Tatyana stared at Crispin when he said Africa wasn't there. Sam immediately jumped up, his legs miraculously restored. "We..we have to go back!" He felt himself sway and he plopped on the ground. Maybe he was more tired than he actually thought he was.

Tatyana didn't really react to the news. "So, who's going back in for her?" She didn't feel like putting herself back in the facility, especially after she had just escaped into the outdoors for the first time in 5 or so years. However, if chosen, she'd go. She crossed her arms over her chest.

Somehow they had miraculously made it out of the building in one piece, almost. There was so much going on all at once that Jae completely missed Elani's thoughts and frustration when she was shot and stuck inside. Once they were out, England immediately noticed and Jae felt his stomach sink. He had to go help her. She was the first person he came to in the facility, and it was thanks to her that he didn't lose his mind and was able to remain himself. "I have to go, she needs help!" Jae rushed back towards the entrance, breaking the connection he had still been holding with everyone to have more strength. Unfortunately he got the opposite affect. A strong jolt of pain pierced through his head, causing him to cry out in pain. He had been through these headaches before, but never so severe. It felt like needles were being shoved into his head from all sides. He should have known he'd have to suffer the consequences. He stumbled, holding his head, and barely managed not to fall as he lean against the nearest tree. The pain was so strong that tears were swelling up in his eyes. It would pass eventually, but for now he was useless and his best friend was still inside, injured and trapped.

Alex watched in a bit of shock as Jae dealt with the side effects of overusing his head. England had to stay outside to keep everyone safe and together, Ukraine didn't seem too concerned or intent of going back in and no one was going to let Sam back in there. It was up to her. "Keep moving, we'll catch up!" is all she said before grabbing England's bat and running back inside. They had capture Africa and it looked like she was being dragged back to her cell. Without hesitation, Alex used her abilities to confuse the guards before running up behind them and swinging the bat at full force. They were going to get out of here one way or the other. Once all the guards were down, she helped Africa on to her feet and rushed towards the exit. The alarm had gone off, which meant that the escape hadn't gone as smoothly as they hoped and the guards would attempt to come after them, but Alex managed to make it back out with Africa. Once outside she help the other and they caught up to the group. Alex was completely out of breathe, but at least they were out.

Crispin couldn't believe that he had left her. He should have realized she was hurt, but he was so keen on getting his freedom that he didn't even noticed. England just assumed that Sam's force field covered everyone. He was failing as a leader. Sam was quick to want to go back in there, but no one was going to let that happen. Ukraine wasn't all that interested in going back into the facility. Or even in rescuing Africa. This was a problem. Crispin almost couldn't stop Jae from running back inside, but it was the side effects of holding a connection so strong for so long. There was no way he was going to be able to go back in there. That was when Alex volunteered as tribute. Taking the metal bat, Scotland ran back into the facility. "You heard her. Keep moving." Crispin walked over to Korea and picked him up. He was shifted around so that it was like Crispin was giving Korea a piggy back ride. Then he started to to job. He looked back to make sure that Ukraine and Sam were keeping up with him. He didn't want to get to far away that Alex and Elani wouldn't be able to get to them. But he needed to get far enough so that his tired counterparts could get some rest.

Elani let herself get distracted by the emotions of everyone in the group. She let it weaken her and now she was captured all over again. Despite all her kicking and fighting, they weren't letting her go so easily. Africa was just hoping that her friends would get away and find their families. Speaking of friends Scotland came charging in with a bat in hand. The guards holding Elani were confused and dropped Africa. Scotland must have tapped into their brains. There was no time for a thank you. Scotland helped Elani to her feet and they ran. There was an alarm set off, but that was the least of their concerns. Armed guards were charging after them. As they were running Elani tapped into one of the guards head and increased his anger. But she had it directed at the other guards. That guard started to shoot at the others, allowing for Scotland and Africa to escape without being followed. They continued running until they saw the rest of the group. They were stopped to rest. They looked so tired. The group was far enough away from the facility to take this break, but eventually they would have to start moving again. Africa looked at Scotland. "Thanks."

Sam watched as Korea ran for Elani, only until the pain overtook his body. “Korea!” Sam scream whispered, trying to keep his voice low, but allowing his concern to show. He scrambled to his feet and stumbled over to the boy against the tree. He could tell he was in pain from the way his eyes were tearing. Sam didn’t know what he could do to comfort the man in front of him, but his parents had always healed him with hugs. Sam loosely wrapped his arms around Korea and stayed there until he heard Crispin coming to collect him.

Tatyana watched as Alex volunteered to go get Elani. She grinned quickly to herself. Brave but stupid. We all are. If she was honest with herself, Tatyana never thought she would have gotten out. As she watched Scotland willingly run back in for Africa, she couldn’t help but wonder if she would ever willingly throw herself in like that for one of them. At this given time, no, probably not, unless it were Sam. Then again, she assumed everyone would for him. She began to examine her nails as Crispin went to go get Korea. As she looked at her dirty nails, she wondered if anyone would do that for her. Did everyone have the “no one gets left behind” idea? Had she missed that part of their plan? She pushed the thoughts aside and ran a hand through her hair. England had Korea on his back and started moving again. Sam was pulled by Tatyana and he waved his hand nonchalantly. ”I’m coming, I’m coming.” They tried to keep pace with England, but given how fast he was even when jogging, they fell back occasionally, their physical states only making it more difficult to keep up.

After a little bit, Africa and Scotland had returned. Sam smiled at them both, but especially Elani. Once she reached them, worry consumed him. ”Are you okay? Did you get hit in the wings?”

Everything happened so quickly, Jae hardly had any time to process it. There's nothing he wanted more than to rush in there and pull his best friend out safe and sound but he was immobile. Thank god for Scotland. She didn't think twice before barging in there with a bat. Sam had come to his rescues when Jae cried out in pain and gave him a hugged. Jae smiled and gently hugged him back. "I'm alright Sammy, thanks" he attempted to walk to prove his point but stumbled a bit. That's when England came in and swept him off his feet. Literally. Jae's cheeks involuntarily tinted a light shade of pink. For the sake of putting a safe distance between them and the facility he kept quiet. Not too long after Elani and Scotland made it our safely. More or less. He wanted to ask if Elani was alright but Sam beat him to the punch. Such a sweet kid. After a few minutes of silence Jae couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed about the fact he was being carried, so he dealt with it the way he always dealt with embarrassment. He rested his palms on to of England's head and rested his chin on his hands. "So if I keep getting hurt will u get piggy back rides more often?".
He was only joking of course, he didn't expect England to carry him around all the time

Alex rolled her eyes at Korea's comment. He would be the one to joke during an escape mission. Regardless, it was kind of needed. Everyone was tense, and South Africa was jurt, not too horribly but still hurt. They would all use a little laugh. They continued walking and Africa thanked Alex for the rescue. Alex simply replied with a nod. She wasn't the type to get emotional. Hopefully they could find a place to rest soon. Korea was all out of juice and Africa was injured. Sam probably needed a lot of rest as well. Even England and Ukraine looked exhausted and she wasn't too full of energy either. As they walked further and further away from the facility, Alex began to feel like she could finally breathe. She let out a long breath that she hadn't even realized she was keeping in. "You know you can put me down if I'm too heavy for you" Korea teased, patting England on the shoulder and Alex shook her head. As if.

Crispin shifted Jae on his back as the group got themselves together. They were rejoicing a bit as Africa and Scotland made it out alive. But they needed to keep moving. They were still too close to the facility to stop and rest. He seemed to have the most energy on the team besides Ukraine. He was hoping they could find somewhere to stay soon. Anything abandoned would do. Elani quickly got into step with everyone, pushing away the pain from her wing. She wouldn't let it stop them again. Sam seemed concerned about her wing and she just smiled politely at him. "It was the wing, but I will be fine." Africa watched her best friend as he was being carried by England. It was quite interesting. Crispin wasn't phased by Jae being back there. Literally being the strongest person, he didn't even break a sweat. "You aren't heavy. But if you want to start walking again let me know." Even if Korea said he wanted to walk, Crispin wouldn't put him down unless he was completely and one hundred percent better. But until then, Crispin wasn't putting Jae down.

Elani directed her attention back to the love of her life. Sam seemed alright, but she wasn't in his head anymore so she would never know. "Are you alright?" She asked, lightly running her fingers through his hair.

Tatyana was relieved to see Scotland and Africa get back, even though she wasn't close with them. She found it somewhat comforting that everyone was out. At least they wouldn't be hunted one by one. If anything happened, they'd all go down together. The guards from the facility were still searching for them. Tatyana strained her sight to see the very outskirts of the guard patrol, who looked like they were about to call it quits. She returned herself back to the group and tuned in to the others conversations.

Sam couldn't help but frown when Africa said her songs had been shot. They were so cool! He would kill to have wings. Then she assured him she was fine and he smiled a little. "I'm sorry about your wings, but as long as you're okay, I'm okay. That's all that matters." Sam watched Crispin carry Jae on his back and the little boy couldn't help but roll his eyes sarcastically when Jae brought up his weight. Crispin was the strongest person he knew. There was no way Jae would be too heavy for him! It almost made him laugh, but eleven year old was too tired for such a thing. Sam rubbed his eyes and he heard a soothing voice. "Are you alright?" Sam looked at Elani and nodded his head. "Yes. Tired, but I'll be okay. I don't think I've been through this much excitement since before I came to the facility. It was kind of fun, besides being shot at. Do you know how much farther we have to go?" Samuel glanced briefly at Ukraine, who was now walking slightly behind everyone, staring straight ahead. She seemed out of it. Sam turned his attention back to Africa.

Jae rolled his eyes at England's response. He always did take everything too literally. Jae almost did want to be put down, not because he minded being carried, even though it was a bit embarrassing, but he didn't want to inconvenience him. But knowing England, it wouldn't make a difference whether he told him he wanted to walk or not, he wouldn't put him down until they could rest. It was a little odd being carried by him though. "Well I might as well enjoy the ride" he smiled, resting his chin on England's head once again. Not too long after, he heard Elani and Sam talking about how she hurt her wing and he looked at her, his face showing concern along with the light pink tint in his cheeks. She said she was alright, but her head said otherwise. She was in pain, and once they could stop somewhere, Jae planned on using whatever energy he had left to help her. Since he didn't have much energy left, he knew she'd protest, as well as England and possibly Sam too. He'd have to come up with a good speech to convince them to let him help. He turned his attention back on the path ahead, keeping his head rested on his helper's head, but maintained the mind link with his best friend. "This is extremely embarrassing.…but he's much more comfortable than he looks". He probably shouldn't be using his strength for something so trivial, but it didn't require much effort to connect with one person who was only a couple of feet away, and he needed to say something or he'd explode.

Alex watched as the others carried on with their conversations. Sam concerned about Africa as always and England refusing to put Korea down even though the latter could probably walk on his own now. She remained quiet, towards the back, following the group. Ukraine was even further behind her. Alex couldn't tell what she was thinking, but then again, when could she. She looked detached from the rest of the group. Sometimes Alex wished she had Jae's ability to just tap into people's heads and know what they were thinking instead of having to guess. She had never been the social type of person, nor did she know how to show that she cared for others, but deep down she really did. She never knew how to express it in words, but it would often show in her actions and that was enough for her. Alex slowed her pace down to match Ukraine, but kept her gaze straight ahead as she spoke. "Tired already?" she teased. To tell the truth, she was fairly tired herself, but she'd be willing to give Ukraine a piggy back ride if she needed it.

Crispin was keeping an eye out for somewhere to rest. He was starting to get tired and despite his abnormal strength, Korea was starting to gain some weight. Everyone seemed content with just getting away which was more than fine with him. But he still wanted to find a place where everyone could lay down and sleep. England yawned and shifted Korea on his back. It was to make it more comfortable for the both of them. Elani snickered a little when she heard Jae. He had to be enjoying himself despite the clear embarrassment. 'Guess it has been a while since you had been held by a man.' She tried not to give away the fact that her and Jae were having a private conversation. Especially because he was using a lot of energy to do so. Sam answered her question and she took hold of his hand. He was way over the age necessary to be hand holding, but Elani wanted to hold hands with him anyway. But she couldn't answer the question. Ukraine wasn't really paying attention to anyone at the moment. Elani looked at and called to Crispin. "How much longer?" England was starting to get towards some abandoned city area. "Ukraine? Can you check out that tall warehouse over there?" If she couldn't he wouldn't mind running in and out.

Tatyana let her feet carry her forward with each step. She wasn't as focused on checking the surrounding area as she should be, as some of the others were, but she wasn't going to strain her sight unless asked to. She wanted to sleep, but she couldn't be more glad that her abilities didn't affect her as much as some others did. Her eyes flickered to Korea and England, and then back in front of her. Scotland appeared next to her and neither of the girls looked at each other. Ukraine didn't react to Alex's question right away. She just kept walking and staring ahead. About a minute passed before she responded. "Already? That makes it sound like I'm just going for a walk and didn't escape from a scientific research facility." Tatyana crossed her arms over her chest and pursed her lips when England called to her. She took a few more strides forward and then stopped. She extended her sight to the warehouse England had mentioned. She first scanned the perimeter, and then checked the inside of the building. The perimeter and outside was clear, but a few stragglers themselves seemed to be resting in the building to settle down and use. It was definitely worn down, probably deserted for a few years. It seemed not many people passed by that area. It wasn't located in the center of the city. It could work. They could handle the people inside. "There's a few people inside, but I can deal with them. It doesn't look like it belongs to anyone."

Sam felt Elani grab his hand and he didn't hesitate or question her. He held her hand back. She had gotten hurt today. Maybe she needed him to make her feel better. He couldn't help but smile at the thought, and then at Tatyana's words. He could help Africa feel better and maybe rest. Maybe they could use the warehouse. It seemed to be their best option at this point. He continued walking with a slight hop in his step.
