Grace took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "One.. two.. three." Nope, nothing. It seemed that no matter how many times she counted she wasn't dreaming. Grace remained on the ground, hoping to stay hidden. She cringed as she heard the leaves crumpling on the ground at what might be another person. He reach for his holster slowly as they talked to themselves, but found a semi-automatic pistol instead of his o-so-easy revolver that he normally carried. 'Oh well, it will have to do.' Adion thought to himself, and he checked and readied the m1911 within its holster. With an unnoticeable opening of the eye, Adion watched the 2 until he had an opening in which their backs were turn. At this point, Adion shot to his feet and quickly said "Don't move. Who are you, and where are we?"

Adion smirked at this John character. Cautious, but seemed to forget the little details. When Adion had checked the chamber, though now that he was holding the pistol it did feel light, he had left that 1 bullet in. That was all Adion ever needed. 1 bullet for every person, well, with pistols at least.

"You should have checked the chamber. It had a round in it, and that is all I need to put someone down. Oh, yeah, name's Adion Volf." said Adion in a fairly calm manner. He didn't see a threat from the man, but more of a man reacting to a threat. It might take some time to diffuse the situation, but if Adion's less social side reared its ugly head, well, the zombies would not have much left.

Before Grace could say anything else, the zombies were coming again. She didn't think she'd ever get used to the sight of those things. She caught the loaded clip. She pulled out the 1911 and readied the gun in front of her. She was reluctant to fire it, seeing as she'd never used a gun before. She held it in front of her, arms shaking, and closed her eyes as she fired off one one shot. It missed them by a long shot. Grace tried to calm herself down before firing off another shot and piercing the stomach of the walker, sending it closer to the ground, bleeding immensely. It continued to limp towards them, but Grace was in too much shock to do much else and stood there, frozen with the gun in her hands.

Grace leaned over the pile of loot surrounding the zombie corpses. "Nice, we got a lot of good stuff here." She said.
"We gotta get out of this forest, I think I hear more of them around us. We better grab this stuff and get out of here quick."
"That is, assuming we're staying together?" Grace asked. The last she'd heard from her friends was the night before she heard of the virus, and she had no idea where she was now. As much as she didn't want to admit it, she wouldn't be able to make it on her own. It seemed like the only option to stay with the others.
