Most guys....at least the guys she has been acquainted with, were the type which rejected crying, at the very least in the company or in the vicinity of a girl who could hear such. Afterall, the guys were the strong ones, the ones who the girls relied upon so shedding tears would be seen as doing more harm than good as it shown weakness like when girls cry. However, Deriz was not most guys, personally the shedding of tears in Lilly's opinion was a sign that you had a caring heart which clearly Deriz had, as despite his tears, Lilly knew he was strong at heart, pretty much the way she sees herself or likes to see herself rather but she'd at least give things ago.

Upon turning around to her, Deriz continued to hide his eyes until he wiped them, but even after wipping them, he could still see the tear-stains that she was tempted to wipe for him to try and comfort him, as well as clean up his face but she decided not to as he might not appreciate such, especially from someone he had just met. Afterall, it was usually the thing couples do like her parents or brothers and sisters like the times when her brother wiped her tears so he could see her smile again. However, it seemed no wipe would make him smile, as he spoke "...It's the humans, they did something to me that they'll pay for in their time....They killed my sister!", before he looked down, "She was everything to me and they took her away! And I can't let them get away with it, they'll pay...".

There was only so much that could be said, especially to hear something as terrible as that. Little did Deriz know that Lilly understood his pain completely, though she never knew how her brother died as he came home bleeding, said he had been rolling in paint to paint the walls, until the next time she went to his room, she noticed that he wasn't moving at all. Adjusting her position, she moved round so both of her arms could comfort him while she leant on his shoulder while his head dipped to be comforted by his hands. If he had been standing, she would of gave him a proper hug, though right now, his emotions were varied with that of anger and that of sadness.

When a voice was heard from behind them, Lilly had a feeling that his anger would be flaring up but often times, recklessness got a person killed and she wouldn't allow him to go through with it, at least alone. Comforting him as best as she could, her hand trailed down his arm until she took hold of his hand and squeezed it lightly to show she was there, before she took looked to the darkness as a figure emerged. "This is for you and for your sister", she said in a hushed tone as she let go and dashed forward, twirling round and kicking him straight in the stomach, causing him to fly right into the tree behind, with her in pursuit of him as she followed the scent of blood, before her senses perked up to hear others, causing her to fly upwards to hide.

Of course, the guy being where he was would mean there were hostilities here so they had to be quick. As she was in the air, she summoned her powers to her hands much like before as a blue aura surrounded them. Once her eyes caught sight of two hunters below her, she immediately flew downwards and put her arms around them, "Big Huggggg", she said sarcastically as her fists opened, causing the electric to shock the two hunters. "Rest are yours Deriz, I hear some coming...", she called over to him as she lunged herself forward so that the two bodies fell to the ground with her ontop with the bodies to break her fall in order for Deriz to see the other hunters on the way.
