Sasha Green

Sasha walked toward the cafeteria after the invasive strip search that she'd actually become accustomed to. She took a seat and sighed as Sabs commenced to tearing into a girl about being treated differently. Sasha grinned. Sabs was one to talk she was swore to seceracy. She said sat back with her legs propped up on the table.

Elise followed him out slowly, going into the room. When Gideon brought back a tray, Elise ignored it. She sat, watching the food go from steaming hot to cold and congealed. She looked around the room, noting the walls were made of some sort of soft fabric, and the floor was carpeted. Carpeted floors are stapled in... she thought to herself. Going to one corner of the room, she worked up a loose staple and lifted her shirt just slightly, and dragged the staple from her belly button to one of her ribs that poked out. Again and again she ran the staple over the same spot until a steady stream of blood trickled down her stomach.

After watching the blood for a few moments, Elise tore a piece of the fabric wall and wrapped it around her new wound, leaning her head back against the wall as the pain enveloped her. The scratchy fabric rubbed oddly against the wound, and Elise felt her pain, anxiety and fear leave her body with the blood. She let out a small sigh, and was satisfied, the food still remaining untouched.

"Yeah, same with you." Cassie replied, feeling somewhat relieved about rooming with Danika as opposed to the girl who'd practically chosen to become the Headmistress' newest little lap dog. How idiotic, the brunette thought before refocusing on the room she was in and she smiled at Danika. "My name is Cassandra but I prefer Cassie," she added, giving a nod to the curly haired girl in acknowledgement. "Nice to meet you."

She nearly laughed as she expressed her cheer in meeting the other teen, actually enjoying the socialization with Dani while hating the actual place she'd met her. Seriously, a school for delinquent girls? That wasn't something you heard everyday, or she thought so. Whichever, she didn't really care but just found it a bit amusing. Anyway, it seemed to only be a few minutes later that the school bell ran and Danika's guard came for her.

"See you," Cassie replied to Danika, following her to the door where, as it turned out, her own guard patiently waited. He was silent as he looked to Cassie, his eyes showing his annoyance with the brunette already. She couldn't help the grin that parted her lips and showed her perfectly straight white teeth, pride causing this amused reaction of her's.

She reached the table at the same time as Danika but was tugged over to sit beside the redhead instead, dimming her sunny smile as she shot a glare at Nicholas as he lightly pushed her into her seat. Reluctantly, she sat but she found herself severely pissed off when the very girl she sat beside -- Elise! Yes, that was her name -- began talking. Her dark head swung around to stare coolly at Elise, an eyebrow raised slightly in annoyance.

"Do shut up, will you?" Her British accent, which hadn't been so noticeable earlier, became more pronounced in her growing irritation with the girl. Her tone was clipped and would have sounded like Cassie's own mother in a bad mood had it not been for her expression. One of which that shockingly held anger, distrust, and something akin to hate. Well, that wasn't so surprising. Cassie practically hated everyone who was against her and this didn't exclude family.

"I'm Cassandra but, please," her eyes were bored again as she repeated her name to everyone, trying to match faces to names herself.. and losing. ".. call me Cassie." Actually, she thought as her mind drifted back to the previous scene.. perhaps her memory wasn't so bad as she remembered, finally, that it was Elise who had been taken from the room in hysterics.

With that said, and her thoughts just as quickly dismissed, the brunette picked up her fork and took a generous bite of the lasagna that waited on her plate. It tasted rather decent for a private school's lunch although she'd had better, that's for sure. Mother's chef's lasagna definitely trumped this one in flavour alone.

She listened quietly as she ate her lunch, politely dabbing at her lips with her napkin as soon as she finished and turning her dark head toward Sabine. One of the other girls had asked what they were to be doing this afternoon and Cassie actually wanted to know. Call it "newcomer's curiousity", or some other rubbish, but it grated on her nerves not knowing well in advance of what would be on her to-do list.

"Well you each will be introduced to the horses you will be working with and then we will be working in the barn and doing some group activities." Sabine's voice rang clearly, full of authority and purpose. Cassie found herself groaning internally, she hadn't been near a horse in nearly four years and didn't see this as being much of a "life-changing experience" for her already.

She wasn't about to say anything first, though. After all, it was Cassie who had extra stalls to much out so soon after arriving.. someone else could shovel more crap if they wanted but she certainly didn't want to.
