Safe Haven Academy

Alex decided to walk to school this morning, holding his sword still in the cloth at one end allowing the opening to the carrier to point to the sky. Atop the covered sword rests a beautiful hawk, and it was clear that it was Alex's pet. Alex had a joyous smile on his face as he walked wearing the family swordsman outfit and a pair of pure black flip-flops. Other than the book bag he was carrying in hand Alex didn't look like someone that was going to school; it seemed more like he was going off to war in feudal Japan.

Ally's fluffy white tail swished from left to right as she walked, holding her head up high. She hat her bookbag on her back and a watergun in her right hand. She had put her short hair in a ponytail and was wearing an Alice in Wonderland t-shirt over a black and white striped long sleeve shirt, and denim capris. Her soft white cat ears twitched when she spotted a human male, and she considered turning around and walking away, but took her chances with approaching him.
She walked up next to him and looked him up and down skeptically and then smiled. "Not bad." She muttered. "Hey!" She put her hand to his chest to stop him. "My name's Ally." She said, looking at the boy and waiting for him to introduce himself.

Lily walked through the courtyard with her favorite pink hoodie up and black skirt and thigh high socks on with her black boots. She would look around the at the other student rather jumpy when anyone came near her causing me to grab onto the baseball bat case which was attacted to her back. As she got closer to the building she noticed one of the neko's stopping a human even though the school was made to intergrate humans and neko's Lily still felt very scared around them one of the boys who was playing soccer caught her attention since she rather enjoyed the sport she got sorta tranced by it, It was't untill a boy ran into her knocking her to the ground that she relised what had happened her hood of her hoodie had come down revealing her long red hair and her scared but cute face but her eyes even though they were red like blood they had fear in them when her hood came down you could see her black ears poking out from the top of her head, Lily just sat on the floor so scared she could't move.

As the neko-girl, Ally as she called herself, stopped Alex and introduced herself Alex took a step back and gave a slight bow as he gave his introductions. "I am Alex Jalo Holmes, successor to the Kuroyama clan's sword style." As Alex stood back up the hawk on his sword flapped its wings so and landed lower on the sword. "And this is Shikai, my partner in the Kuroyama sword style." Alex didn't expect Ally to recognize the name Kuroyama, after all Alex's family on his mother's side were the only ones that fought alongside animals in their sword techniques.

Moments after Alex finished his introductions another neko-girl was knocked down by a soccer player. With that Alex started over but began to analyze the situation and noticed that the girl was scared, but exactly why Alex couldn't exactly pin just yet. "Watch the sword for me for a moment," Alex said as he handed the cloth covered sword to Ally; Shikai resting upon the highest point of the dangerous weapon. Alex approached the red haired neko-girl slowly and gave a calming appearance accompanied by a soft smile. Alex's smile seemed to say 'everything is okay, I'll protect you' as he slowly reached out a hand to help the girl up. This would help to show the red haired neko-girl that he wasn't going to harm her, or so Alex had hoped to happen. This was all he could think to do for now due to his experience from living with animals at the dojo since he was born.

Lily looked at the guy who has gave her a resuring smile and offered her his hand even though she was reluctant to take it she did since he was offering once she took his hand she pulled herself up with it "Thank you" she had said quietly and nevous she was still as scared as she was before but somehow felt calmer and more relaxed around him she could't help but wander why he wanted to help her it was probably part of her being a new transfer student or that he wanted to hurt her lik some other people do. Lily looked the lad up and down slightly trying to figure out if he was human or neko.

"No problem. I am Alex Jalo Holmes, successor to the Kuroyama clan's sword style," as he introduced himself Alex gave a slight bow. "If you need anything while you are here at the school don't hesitate to ask me." Alex turned back to Ally and got his cloth covered sword back from her, the hawk taking a spot on the sword near its master's shoulder. "Come Shikai let's head over to the school dojo and practice while we await for more people."

It didn't take long for Alex to locate the dojo since he had trained there last year a few times. It was quite a large dojo even though Alex was the only remaining member since all the others had graduated the year before. After Alex and Shikai Bowed into the dojo and paying the proper respects they started one of their many kata (or series of techniques organized in a way to hide the true power of the style) which had flawless movement and made it seem that the hawk and the swordsman's minds were one. The smile that he had before had completely vanished as it always did while practicing his style. Many times the hawk flew dangerously close to the sharp blade, trusting its partner to not harm him. Each time it seemed as though Shikai was striking at a foe that was not there, as did Alex. With the way he moved about and the way he looked while doing so it was clear he was completely human; and a very skilled warrior as well. This combined with his gently composure and kind personality made for a great ally, and loyal friend.
