Introduction
Another danger are the many still active war machines that roam the wastelands. They are leaderless robots that attack anyone they see as a threat. They come in various forms and can vary strongly in purpose. But the war threatens to come back to the east, but the rulers of the Scrapped Badlands will try to keep it safe at all costs, even if they have to make allies with the bandits.
Goal: Primary is to battle invading soldiers and eliminate scouts, making sure no soldier can retreat to the badlands.
Otherwise, you characters may follow personal goals.
Setting: The area around Steeltown, a town made of metal shacks and houses with a population of about 2500. The area around has plenty of scrap and plenty of danger.
Steeltown facilities:
Grumpy Hag Bar: The towns most popular bar, serving self brewed beverages and even offering oil to sentient robots.
The Shoppe: It is a large building where farmers offer their food to the public. It is practically an indoor farmers market.
Cade's Parts: A man named Cade is specialized in cybernetics and robotics. He is able to fix and upgrade any cyborgs or robots who arent able to maintenance themselves.
Salvagers: Salvagers often collect useful metal parts for their own creations. But they are willing to build weapons or devices for locals and travellers at a price. A number of salvagers are cyborgs.
Scavengers: If you need sheets of metal or non-electronic metallic parts then go to a scavenger, he will sell what you need at a fair price.
As a foreigner: you will need to gain the trust of the locals if you want to stay or be able to get equip from salvagers or scavengers. If you gain their trust, you will be able to acquire a house or a permit to build one as well as being able to fully used the available facilities.
For recreation: There are recreational facilities such as an arcade and a casino. If people want more facilities, they have to build it.

She heared a rustling in the scrap and her head turned to face the direction where the sound came front. She saw a soldier alone. It was very dangerous for soldiers to be in the badlands as they werent welcome and were normally killed on sight. Rina smiled and said: "Well, well. Another soldier to tear up." The soldier in fear began to shoot at her with a simple rifle not powerful enough to even dent 9 mm of armour. Noticing it was useless, the soldier began to run but Rina quickly caught up and brutally swatted him in the side making him fly a couple meters. She then walked over to him and picked him up by his face. She let out a slightly metallic giggle. A rotary saw came out of her other hand and she said: "Now what should I amputate first?" She then cut off his left arm and slowly continued with the other limbs, even just easily tearing off his right arm. Rina seemed like a psychotic and sadistic machine that saw no worth in human life as she enjoyed herself while the man screamed in agony. She then ended his life by finally tearing his head off. She stashed the soldiers rifle and any metallic items that were on him and then began to hover with the help of her thrusters at a good speed back towards Steeltown.
Finally there she headed over to her bunker like house and put the salvaged items into a box. She then cleaned the blood off of her blue and white colored metal body. It had been colored since a silvery colored looked to old and boring for her taste.
As aximili got back to his hut-in-a-hole (shop) he say a customer outside, looking around nervously, and aximili greeted him. the stranger jumped, and, to his amusement, calmed down after he say Aximili. e knew this customer. he came every monday to pick up some accessories he made from the scarp, and maybe a gun or 2 from the generators. but really, all be mostly bought was the good scrap he brought back from the badlands. Aximili was the only one known to go that deep into the badlands to retrieve the good scrap and generators from the depths within.
as the customer filled his lot, Aximili added up the total, got paid, and waved goodbye to the customer. as the stranger shrank away, he got busy doing his work, purifying the scrap he collected, dipping it in different colors, adding energy to creations he made, and creating new things. he was busy making a new gun when he heard footsteps up to his hut-in-a-hole. he looked out, and say 3 armed men coming towards the shack.
Aximili didn't like this, not one bit, so he grabbed his plasma powered pistol, and hoped for the best. the armed men came up to his shack, greeted him, and looked around. they didn't seem to be interested in anything, but the one on the right kept eying his scrap pile of pure scrap. he pointed that out to the man, and the armed man looked at him, deep into his soul, he looked, until Aximili couldn't take it any longer, and looked away. the 3 armed men looked just about done, when the middle one pointed to a plasma powered sniper-one of his best creations, but aximili didn't really care for snipers. "how much for the sniper" the man asked, and Aximili said the price. the man smiled and, holding his gun in his right hand, pointed to the sniper, and bought it. just as elfangor took it down, the man in the middle pointed his gun at Aximili's head, and smiled.
"you really didn't think i was gonna pay for that there sniper were ya? that thing is too good to be in a crappy shack like this." aximili stared wide eyed at the man in the middle, and the mad asked for more stuff in the back. an idea struck Aximili then, he found his shotgun, and, swinging out of the doorway, pointed it at the 3 men, and fired. the blast was near quiet, as Aximili had programmed it, and all 3 went down. he smiled, and took their guns, armor, and clothes, and put them in back. as he was picking the corpses, he found an ID from the middle one. "Bad-Bandits" was his name, and aximili laughed out loud. bandits! Aximili has been robbed before, or at least been close to robbery, before he killed them. this was the 5th one this month. you needed to have guts to live out here in an unforgiving environment.
just as Aximili was about to hide the bodies, his owl flew up and perched itself on the counter, with 2 mice in its beak. aximili smiled, and petted the strange bird, from the forest he used to live in. it followed him everywhere. the sun was nearly down, and he closed up shop, and put the dirt cloak over his hut-in-a-hole, and went to bed.
He kept the lifter on and got out "well I couldn't be more happy with you Gilo, didn't need to do a thing, well have a good use and a nice year with it" he said and enter his shop again and finished his work with his mech

when Aximili got into the house, he put the soldier down, got some duct tape, and taped him to the floor. he was almost done when me saw milo coming through the door. "hello there, milo. this little trouble maker, we will question him. oh, and you guys.." Aximili holds up the gun with the weird insignia on it. "does this look familiar, because it looks like the Battle Bot symbol." he looked worried. "i think, they might be teaming up.
oh, and milo," said Aximili, handing him the bag of useless scrap, "i have no use for this. please take it, i know you can make use of it"

In those few minutes, he went over to milo, and asked him what he was making. after he told him what he was conjuring up, he nodded and went back to the soldier on the floor, looking too comfortable. Aximili took out his tazer, and, with a jerk, hit the man in the shoulder with it, holding it there for 3 seconds or so. he heard the mans bloodcurdling scream, and smiled. "well, do you want to talk now?" he smiled as the man started to stutter, "m-m-m-my my name is-ss-s uhh.... leroy.." Aximili frowned at the mans speech. "good start. now, who do you work for?" the man held his tongue once again, and he frowned even more. "now come on. i dont want to hurt ya! just give me my answers, and you can be on your way." Aximili tazed the man again for a brief second, and bent down close to his face. "now. tell me or i will have to go to EXTREME MEASURES!!" aximili threatened, and the man fumbled for an answer " I SERVE MR.GEORGE!!! PLEASE DONT HURT ME!!" the soldier cried. Aximili smiled. this one couldn't be more over 21. but, he wasn't done with him yet. he picked up the rifle, and showed him the insignia. "now tell me this, where did you get this rifle from? tell me, and i wont kill you slowly." the man spoke out clear this time "you will never get THAT out of me. i swore on oath to protect the identity of that company." the man smirked, and aximili stood up and said, "very well. RINA! you do whatever you want with him. oh, and dont be gentle, please?" aximili smirked as rita got up and picked up the man.

"Anyways I got some high quality metal for you, Aximili. It should be helpful to you. I would just like to have some chromium hyperconductors for it." Rina said. Then Aximili asked her to go torture the prisoner. A twisted smile came upon Rinas face and again her hand turned into a rotary saw. "You better talk otherwise I will cut you to pieces slowly and painfully. You might have seen what I am capable of as I tore your fellow soldiers head off." She said to him and showed him the head, then slicing it in half. "Why dont we start by forcing you to eat his brain. And you still wont chirp I will love to induce a lot of pain." She then grabbed his mouth and forced it open. It hurt a lot for the soldier as he could feel the metal under her skin and the seemingly inhuman force she had. Rina grabbed a piece of brain and shoved it in his mouth, then closing it and forcing him to chew. "Now how does the bloody meat of your friend taste?" Rina said and a sinister smile.
back at the shop, he uncovered it with the magical dirt blanket, and started to get to work. he set the soldiers weapons on the counter, and started working on his final project, a Plasma launcher, it would be able to pierce through 12cm armor, and kill a man instantly, and explode on contact with human skin, not only that, it was attracted towards a robots electrical field, and took energy out of the generators in them, and make the explosion larger, but had less of an effect on a cyborg, since they were both metal and skin, so the plasma rocket would get confused. as he connected the high quality scrap to make a trigger, and Pro sights, he heard the ringing of a bell, and many men talking. he went out of his workshop and way 3 men standing there, couldn't have been over 25, and they looked at Aximili, and the middle one said, "hi, we are all looking for simple guns, no special plasma crap, just some normal guns, like the ones you got here," he pointed to the 3 rifles he picked up from the soldiers, and Aximili said, "sorry those aren't for sale, im going to experiment on them, but i do have 3 normal pistols that are on sale. "Aximili brought out the 3 pistols, and the men nodded, and said "we'll take em." after payment, the 3 men walked off after buying 3 plasma knives each. Aximili warned them not to fire off within 50 feet of his store, or he would have to shoot em. then, aximili started on the plasma launcher again, and, after the finishing touches were added, it was finished! he was about to add paint to it when he heard a loud, "THUMP. THUMP. SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE....." and aximili wondered what it was, so he entered his scrap tower, and, to his dismay, a Megabot was coming straight for his hut, and it had the Battlebot symbol on its chest. Aximili got wide eyed and he ran down in search of something that could fend it off, it was about half a mile away, he could try to snipe it, so he grabbed the sniper off the rack, which could pierce 24cm armor plating, and then he thought better, and also brought up the plasma launcher. he was frightened though, and he started off with the Sniper. he fired 5 shots into the head, and that slowed it down a little bit, but it kept on coming. so, he looked at the plasma launcher. what better time to test it, than now? hew picked it up, it was a little heavy, but he could manage, and aimed down the Pro sights. he was thankful he added in Generator seeking, or else he would have missed, and shot the Megabot.
the sound from the Plasma launcher was so loud, that aximili dropped it, and covered his ears. everyone within 2 miles could have heard that. he noted to himself, "make sound less deafening" and watched in fascination as the bot slowed down, and burst in half from the consumption of the Generation in the body. Aximili cheered, it worked though!

His breathing normalized when he saw it was just a heavily mutilated body. Approaching it carefully, Alex kneeled down and examined it. Male, some reminisce of Armour remained, but it was covered in fresh blood. Its limbs had been removed, most had been cut off by a sharp blade, but one; his arm, was much more of a jagged tear along the flesh. Suggesting it had been literally ripped off. The sight was almost sickening. Alex stood and glanced around, with how fresh the blood was whoever did this may well be around still. That, or heading towards the only inhabitable area within a hundred miles. Either way Alex did not like the thought of running into it. He pushed the body back into the scrap pile, then turned to see a large, burly man pointing a weapon at him. The man was clearly a bandit, dressed in torn garments painted a crude blood red. His gun was 34. magnum, old but effective none the less. "Now hold on partner, no need to do something regrettable." He said in a smooth voice while slowly spreading his hands out widely.
"You Killed Him! The man yelled in a hoarse voice. His finger tightened on the trigger before Alex could explain, the shot resounded for what was likely miles as the bullet flew into Alex's right shoulder. The force of the bullet spun him around, but the momentum was to his advantage, as he came back around with his arm humming loudly and fired a large purple sphere strait into the mans chest. Effectively ripping him in half and sending his halves into two different directions. Alex picked up the 34. from where it landed and threw it in the small backpack over his left shoulder, then grunted as his right arm surged with pain and an emergency alarm flashed in his left eye. It quickly drew up the damage assessment, the bullet had hit his third triceptor cord. Severing the energy connecter there and cutting off the flow of plasmid. His shot had drained his only reserves. A small timer started counting down in the corner of his eye; 5:00.00 hours until Energy overload. The damage was too much for Alex to repair, he would have to hope someone in town could operate. He turned in the direction of Steeltown and steadily began heading towards it, holding his right arm as it hung lazily at his side.
and he didn't wait for milo to reply, for aximili was already putting the barrel on the generators power front, and on the rotating platform.
by the time he almost had all the wiring done, it was about noon when he noticed movement in the desert. and then a flash from something, a gun probably, and Aximili got out his sniper and aimed down the sights at where the shot came from. Aximili saw, through the scope, a man walking away from 2 dead bodies, and he had a super technical metal arm! though it looked damaged. Aximili got an idea. he balled up a note and, so it wouldn't hurt the man out there, cased it in rubber. the note said:
dear stranger out there,
this is a friendly note, and i see you are damaged. i would be obliged to fix up your arm for you.
your loner neighborhood scavenger,
Aximili
after he shot the note, he finished up with his mega turret, and he realized, with increasing surprise, that he finished it in 1 day! thats amazing! all he needed to do was decrease the sound discharge on his Plasma launcher. so he went into his shop, and saw milo trading some knives for a gun that needed to be fixed with a boy that looked 17. Aximili finished the sound discharge, and asked milo, when the customer was gone, "where can i test this? im not sure the sound has decreased, but i'm definite its a significate decrease in sound." after he asked that, he wondered, where did Rina go??

She picked up the pace, now skating inches above the sand at the rate of a human sprint. When she wasn't paying attention, she tripped over a dead body, mutilated and looted. She stopped and began to analyze it.
" [Begin Death Report]
Name: Unknown
Age: Appears Middle-aged
Signs of conflict: Massive
Description of Corpse: Victim was blown apart by something of an explosive nature, likely something related to plasma. There are no weapons on what looks to be a bandit, so it was likely looted.
Location of assailant: There are Footprints leading towards Steeltown. I will now follow them.
[End Death Report]"
She Returned to hovering, again skating at the rate of a human sprint. The only noise made was a faint humming from the propulsion jets. She was quickly gaining on what she suspected to be the killer of the bandit, who also appeared to be injured.
When his eyes focused on the subject, he discovered that it was a she, and she was a cyborg. "Small world" He muttered under his breath. She was exquisitely built, with some kind of gliders as well. She was moving fast, but was most likely able to slow down, her implants were rather apparent. However the real threat was whatever he couldn't see, almost all cyborgs had hidden weapons and he doubted she was any different. If this came to blows, he was not so sure he would walk away alive. Not in his current state."I'd stop if I were you friend." He called out in a sturdy voice. Then indicated his arm to show he was...well... armed.

Rina then headed over to Aximilis. She used the thrusters in her back to get there. She diverted more power into them to increase her speed. It wasnt long until she was there. She noticed that he had taken out a large machine. And now Aximili seemed to be arguing with Milo or fighting with him. "Cut it out you two! Aximili like I said before, I need chromium hyperconductors to be able to finish my artillery cannon. It will be able to fend off enemies who are even just at the border. That is 400 miles (about 640 km) away. Since plasma nearly weighs nothing, I am using shells that turn into burning hot projectiles because of the air friction and the speed. I would like to get done today. My dogs are waiting for me to play with them." Rina said. "But if you desire cybernetic parts or if customers of yours need any, tell me. I would just like to have titanium, adamant or chromium in exchange. Cale might be good in cybernetics and installing them but half of the parts he uses, mostly the more advanced parts, he gets from me. I have probably the most advanced combat and enhancement upgrades in Steeltown, therefore Cale makes stable basic parts and medical implants and you make some parts too dont you?"
Another surge of pain shot through his shoulder, his system reported that the backed up plasmid had now corrupted another triceptor. Increasing his overall damage considerably, and decreasing his lifeline. 2:16:97 Left before system overload. Please repair. Please repair. Please repair. His HUD alarmed him. Looking back to the new arrival he weighed his options. He could try walking, but if his third cord got corrupted, even a salveger would have a hard time repairing it. On the other hand, he did not like the thought of trusting strangers. What choice do you have?
He grimly thought to himself. "I could gladly accept your offer. Can you handle the extra weight though?"
