Personality: Damien is a driven young man with a burning hate for Godwin and his followers. On the battlefield he is a gifted commander and a adept tactician yet his youthful temperament can lead him to make hasty decisions. Off the battlefield he can be very kind and warm. A good man who treats his men well. Brave and nobel Damien knows who he is and is not afraid to tell those around him who is in command. He sees himself not as a exiled prince but as a king without a throne and is intent on getting it back.

History

History: Damien was but a child when Godwin's army shattered down the gates of Castle Burlingham. Known as "The Roost" Castle Burlingham was massive in size and scope with towering peaks. Its walls crumbled under the might of the invading army. The warriors of Eryic fought valiantly but were ultimately defeated and wiped out mercilessly. In the final moments of the battle when Godwin's army was at the gates to the keep the king made a painful decision. He ordered his finest warrior to take the child and flee to safety, ordering her to raise the boy in secret. A career soldier and master swordsman, Samara was the finest Knight of Eryic. She had proven herself through years of service and dedication and was supremely loyal to her king and country. Following out her kings command she took the child and fled the keep. The last the young Damien saw of his homeland was of The Roost burning in the distance. Samara brought the boy up in the wilderness teaching him the way of the sword. She made certain he knew of his family and birthright. Unlike most nobles however Damien was taught not only how to lead but how to follow. Damien was taught fencing, archery, tactics, mathematics, how to read and write as well as anything and everything his guardian could teach. Samara made certain he would be a brave and just ruler. As the exiled prince grew so too did his ambition to reclaim his throne. The boy began garnering followers to his cause. Originally made up of rebels and traitors to Kingslanding with a lust for vengeance it has since transformed into a formidable and loyal army known as the Birds of Prey. Brave men and women loyal to their chosen king, Damien and willing to die to see Godwin taken down and Damiens birthright restored. Damien can begin to feel his dream becoming a reality. He plans on beginning his march soon and making his presence known.
Appearance:



Damien is a well muscled young man, extremely physically fit with fiery hazel eyes. His armor marks some measure of his regal bearing yet is primarily made up of what the exiled prince can acquire.


Extra information: Damien's army functions by raiding and pillaging military outposts and settlements loyal to Godwin. As such he and his followers are known as the army of the bandit king in Kingslanding. Damien carries a unique weapon, The staff of Crow's.

The staff of crows is a hybrid weapon of a short sword and a battle staff and Damien uses this with masterful skill. It is a weapon that has been passed down by his family for generations and was stolen by Samara for Damien on the eve of the boy's 16th birthday.
