a character in “Shadows At Dawn”, as played by YummyGummyBear

Description

DAHLIA FAITH CORONOS

age: 17

Picture: Human: Image
Animal:Image

Additional Appearance: Standing at 5'5 and weighing in at 150 pounds, we have Harlen Coronos. Her long, blonde hair lays flat and straight down the middle of her back. She has sparkling, blue eye that always have a cold, calculating look in them. They're framed by long blonde eyelashes. Her creamy pale skin is blemish free and soft. When embarrassed, she turns a rosy pink color. Her dark red lips are lush and voluptuousness. She is lean and muscular, but is also curvy. She is well endowed and is considered fairly lovely.

Clothing: Simplicity is the objective of Dahlia's style. Nothing too flashy, or too showy. Modesty is a key point as well. In summer she is most often seen in shorts, a t-shirt, and running shoes. In the colder weather, she wears hoodies, jeans, and boots. Though if necessary, she can dress up.
Weapon: A long bow with poisonous arrows, and a long sword, she wears on her waist.

Faction: Werecat Refugee

Rank: Lieutenant

Animal: Albino Lion

Background: Dahlia was kitted by the mothers of the Great Pride. They often doted over her because of her rare pure-white fur. Despite all the affection she received, Dahlia was never really all that outwardly affectionate. As she grew up, she took special care in learning to protect herself, should the Great War affect her family. When she was 12, her father was killed in the Great War. It tore her family apart. At that point, Dahlia became very aloof and detached from everyone. She became apart of Astrid's troop when she turned thirteen. Her hard work and fighting skills soon earned her the title of Lieutenant. Dahlia whole-heartedly agreed with Astrid's decision of rejecting the leaders mating process.

Personality: Dahlia is cool and seemingly emotionless. She holds any pain and anger inside, releasing them in battle. She often appears to be deep in thought. She doesn't really speak unless she is spoken to. She doesn't smile that often. Though outwardly harder than a diamond, she loves everyone in the troop. (Sorry, I'm not very good at personality.)

How do you feel about the other faction: Indifferent. Astrid seems to think they can be of use. I trust her.

Miscellaneous:
Theme song:
"Given to Fly" By pearl
He could've tuned in, tuned in
But he tuned out
A bad time, nothing could save him
Alone in a corridor, waiting, locked out
He got up outta there, ran for hundreds of miles[/font]

So begins...

Dahlia followed in close succession to her leader. Her muscles burned in hellish fatigue. Her throat was parched with dehydration. The small pack had been running, running as fast and far away as they could. C'mon, Dahlia. We can do this. We'll stop soon. The sun had just barely begun showing her face. Normally with sunrise, a sense of friendly warmth rushed through her system. Today, it just sent cold shivers through her.

Relief spread through her when Astrid stopped. Dahlia took her position beside her, sitting back on her haunches. Her face turned slowly up to the sky, sniffing the air. The sunshine reflected off of her pure white fur. Scents of life caught her nose, and her stomach growled angrily.
"Below, in the forest, we might be able to find food. I know some of us haven’t eaten since the incident. Food is essential and since they are gone for the while we can quickly eat and get going. Plus, where there is prey, there is water. C’mon," Astrid said before heading down to the forest. Dahlia followed quickly behind, her soft paws not making a sound against the crunchy ground. Astrid stopped to speak again.
[b]"Let’s hunt. Dante, find water since you’re built…for muscle. I’ll get your share somehow or I’ll give you mine. The rest, come back here when you find something and then we’ll follow Dante to try and access water. After, we’ll eat then head out again. If you don’t find anything, still meet here in thirty."

Dahlia went off in her own direction, following the faint scent of an elk. She caught an older one off by it's lonesome, nibbling the most tender branches of a tree. Being an exceptionally skilled hunter, taking the elk down with ease. Her strong jaws snapped the elks neck, killing it instantly. She drug the elk back to the small clearing where she had been told to meet. When she got back, Dante and Astrid were the only ones in the clearing.

"I can tell. We’ll wait here. The wolves don’t matter. If it becomes a problem," Astrid paused, "We’ll pass through with force if we have too."
Dahlia waited for them to finish speaking before dragging the elk into the clearing.
"Or we could ask them to ally with us," she said, her voice no more than a whisper. She set the carcass in front of the two.

Larissa Vellamo

Larissa followed behind her sister and the troop quietly, the tension in the air putting her on edge. At every small noise, her ears flicked and her body tensed. She stayed towards the back of the group, her head low and her eyes bright. Although she hadn't really thought about it, her stomach rumbled and her throat was dry with thirst. There were more important things on her mind, like not allowing the troop (especially her sister) to get killed. In the back of her mind she hoped that if the group hunting them saw her first, they would confuse her for Astrid and kill her instead, leaving the others alone. But she knew this was unlikely. ‘Come on, we still need to get across the state. The pride won’t stop hunting us. We need to stay a step ahead.’ Astrid's voice pulled her from her thoughts, bringing her attention back to her sister.

She stood with the others, pausing to take in her surroundings. The rising sun warmed her pelt while the dew stuck to her paws, but she was too wound up to be comforted by the sensation. In the distance she could faintly smell a deer off to the distance, and smaller prey closer to them. Her stomach growled in response to the smell. ‘Below, in the forest, we might be able to find food. I know some of us haven’t eaten since the incident. Food is essential and since they are gone for the while we can quickly eat and get going. Plus, where there is prey, there is water. C’mon' Astrid spoke again, standing tall.

Astrid ordered Dante to find water, and for the rest of them to hunt and meet back in the clearing. Lari padded off alone as the rest of the troop did the same. Her small, agile build didn't make for great fighting, but it made for excellent hunting. She could smell a doe off to the distance, but she decided to go for something smaller. A large white rabbit caught her attention, and she lowered herself close to the ground, watching the white rabbit very carefully. Very slowly, she made her way towards the rabbit, keeping her body low to the ground and keeping silent. Just as the rabbit noticed her, she pounced and snapped his neck in one swift motion.

Larissa padded towards Dante and Astrid just Dahlia came up to them carrying two rabbits in her mouth. She caught the end of their conversation. "-wolves don't matter. If it becomes a problem," she paused for a moment. "We'll pass through with force if we have to." Astrid was telling Dante. "Or we could ask them to ally with us." Dahlia added.
Lari dropped the larger rabbit in front of Dante. Astrid had already given him something, but he was much larger then her and probably was more hungry. "If we're careful, they may be able to help us."
