Setting
The Central plains take up the majority of Shalcora, and serve as the crossroads for all travelers seeking other places.
To the north one will find the mountains and the Icelands. These harsh lands test the will of the strongest, and those who survive them prove their worth many times over
To the east one finds the swamps and, beyond them, the sea with it's islands and reefs. Many people seek this path, for while the swamps are fetid and hold shadows of a painful past, the secrets and medicines to be found within demand many an adventurers time. The ocean itself rewards all those who respect and treasure it's bounty
South will guide you to the dense jungles, but should you persevere through them, the lowlying hills will provide you with peace and contentment
The western region holds deserts and arid canyons. Those who travel that way would do well to prepare for the trials, for the untested often find themselves fighting desperate battles against dehydration and death.
Shalcora is dotted by ruins throughout it's expanse, and many, if not all, of these hold deep caverns and dungeons where ancient relics, and even more ancient enemies, dwell.

The Central Plains
The plains stretch the main of Shalcora's largest landmass, split only by the single largest river slightly east of the center. This land is Fertile and grand, it has healed nicely since the war.
