With fair skin and striking black hair it can be a bit difficult for this young woman to blend in. Which is what she would like nothing better. Her hair is regularly tied back with red ribbon in a high ponytail, or if she feeling particularly sentimental in a high bun. On the rare occasions it's set free from it's constraints it reaches just above her hips. Her frame is surprisingly sturdy as her body has become lean with muscle, although it wouldn't be much good against a stronger opponent. Although if there ever a chance of being able to glare daggers at someone, her eyes would become deadly weapons as their violet coloring is an oddity in itself. Aside from eye coloring there is nothing too abnormal about her facial structure.

While her body has a wiry strength to it, has suffered a few scratches and bruises along the way. Thin scars, only a few centimeters wide dart across each individual rib in precise ordering, clearly not done by a blade. There a few scars along her palms, stomach and lower legs that are jagged enough to reveal at least it was a blade-like weapon that did the deed. Despite all the negative remains of her past, there is one marking on her body that she is hesitant how to feel about, of a ink-black cobra curled up on her hip bone, it's hood flared out ready to strike so it seems. One of the few momentos from her past, that just can't find the courage to get rid of.

With all these 'imperfections' in mind, she can be quite self-conscious about the scarring, especially along her ribs given the fleshy color that remains. Those are some of the newest ones on her body, ones that will result in her completely clamming up. Her general attire is surprising formal for a girl of her age, preferring long sleeves paired with black skirts and a set of small high heels. Nothing too flashy to attract attention, but the outfit seems to alert others of her serious nature.

{O D D I T I E S}

Has a very naive, but eager mindset when she comes across a fun activity (hopscotch, trips to the zoo etc) that traditionally would be the first few memories of a child's life. Her childhood didn't allow that luxury so it seems. It's best to indulge her enthusiasm when a moment occurs.

Quiet | Polite | Reserved | Implusive

First impression have a tendency to stick with this young woman, so its best to make your only chance a good one. When first meeting people, she can be polite like any average person, but this pleasantry will gradually fade if strangers start asking about her own life or probe about her day. The facade will fade into genuine disinterest and she can try to make as leave the conversation as possible. Those who do wish for friendship will learn to view her as a skittish stray cat, enjoying your company in silence and on the occasion responding, but fleeing at any sign of affection/curiosity on their behalf. Although it is possible to bait her with stories of childhood or pastimes as her curiosity will override her needs to get away from the situation.

In combat, this polite mask will remain as she finds it amusing for more hot-blooded people to get frustrated at her blank expression in response to insults and jeers. Although she will occasionally slip the mask off for a moment to throw back a polite smile of her own..all to wind them up just for fun. When the actual fight begins, her impulses can get the best of her as she will go for low blows and dishonesty.It's a mere effort to trap her opponent in a calculating manner in an effort to end the fight as quickly as possible. Although, there does seem to be a sadistic fancy in her when she feels the target needs to be batted around a little bit..this may need to be reined in by the Meister.

Her demeanor isn't that she is shy, it's that she feels more comfortable listening to the rambling of the others. Will chime in when needed or feels its appropriate. Although one way to get her to loosen up is to suggest a fun activity that both people can do regardless of the maturity level of some of the antics. An actual smile can appear along with girlish laughter. This is one of the signs that she is gradually stepping out of her comfort zone. Another notable change is she will begin to quip responses with sarcasm instead a merely polite answer..which can infuriating if said quip is below the belt and accompanied by a faint smile. With her Meister she can become, or least will attempt to be bit more physically affectionate and open about her feelings. Although this opening of feelings may be followed by tears of anguish and regret..followed by the return of the emotionless mask. So is better to let sleeping cats lie?

Her Weapon is a hardened leather glove..at least it's what it look like at first glance. Once put on this glove, will become skin-tight around the Meister's hand as Gia's own soul attempts to mingle that of the Meister, some describe this mingling as fleeting strikes of lightning jolting down their veins. It can be a bit painful, if either of the two parties are stressed about the interaction. Once successfully adjusted, small slits will appear on the tips of the glove and if willed by the Meister, small metal garrote wires can extend out. Now what makes these wires special is the soul energy flowing through them, allowing Gia is give them more mobility and to dance around the Meister in an almost snake-like manner. It's up to the Meister to direct the wires at the target and set the speed..while Gia just needs to keep up with each move.

These wires can multiply up to five strings each sharp enough to cut into stone and easily rake across bare skin. These wounds across the skin can be as deep as a normal blade, but at the cost of being small in size. This effort takes plenty of energy and isn't suitable for long-term combat as it is draining on both souls. The preferred operation of this Weapon to wear the target down through inflicting numerous shallow cuts, just enough to cause adequate blood loss from the wounds. Once the target is subdued enough, wires can easily strangle the life out of it with ease. To actually wrap around someone and have a sturdy grip takes energy and can easily render the Meister immobile..but allows the target limited movement as well and the chance of being dragged toward for closer combat..all while bleeding from the wires trying to make a puppet.

{S T R E N G T H S}
  • Flexibility- Given her Weapon Form is literally that of a glove able to send out garrote wires that can be manipulated like a skillful puppeteer in the right hands, it has forced her to flex her body into sometimes uncomfortable shapes to extend her string's reach.
  • Focus- In combat, if given a goal, her mind is relatively blank until that goal is accomplished. She can set aside thoughts of fear, worry, and even the screams of a fellow combatant.
  • Mask- While some call this emotionless mask unnatural, it helps her prepare for combat or rally people up to make mistakes out of annoyance their target isn't provoked by aggressive comments.
  • Quiet- Her quiet nature seems to make people feel at ease and she has heard more than a few life stories despite her young age. While can also be quiet in the physical sense as her footsteps can be silent if she focuses hard enough making her quite the spy if she puts her mind to it.
  • Endurance- Her Weapon form is meant to inflict wounds in quick succession or to restrain a target..not to bring down a raging beast within one blow. The wounds inflicted will slow the target down as blood flows freely down their body...once properly slowly it's time for the grand finale. Endurance is needed for her to properly manipulate the length and speed of her wire's flow sometimes sending out multiple strings..this takes plenty of energy that needs to find somewhere.

{W E A K N E S S E S}

  • Cannot Lie- Honesty was a trait instilled within her since birth as her role as Weapon made it key that she and her partner had to be honest with one another. This had lead to a few brutal question sessions..
  • Emotional Instability- Has a nasty habit of bottling up her emotions and those can overflow in time. When that bottle bursts it is usually anger or sadness that are first to appear on her face. Said breakdowns of either anger or tears can last for hours..unless comfort or a welcome brawl appears.
  • Skittish about her past-Trust is the key to any relationship and even more so between a Weapon and Meister. It can be unfair for the Weapon to hide information about the past given much of it is the reason behind her current emotional problems..regardless she will attempt to sidestep any conversations pertaining to her past.
  • Stress- Cannot handle too much stress without shutting down emotionally/in a physical sense. This stress can be in a literal sense as in using her Weapon form to block a gigantic hammer for an extended period of time can become quite painful to her body. Or in an emotional sense, if she is emotional in combat, her Weapon form may not even send out her wires or even worse attempt to cocoon about the Meister in a misguided attempt to protect them. Those wires can shred through skin if pulled tight enough..what do you think regular clothes if held in the same embrace?
  • Over-protective- While this streak could be beneficial in a long run, it is not the best trait to have given her Weapon form is meant for speed and to inflict damage over time. Has willingly taken a few bullets and knives for her Meister without a single flinch..not exactly the best option to have when your sole means of fighting back is bleeding heavily from her own body after taking a hit for you.

    {H I S T O R Y}

    There isn't much to say about her childhood given that there was a distinct lack of one. Her mother died when was a mere toddler leaving her in the care of an emotionally distant father. The emotional distance wasn't out of cruelty, but out of love as her father's occupation was that of an enforcer for a local Yakuzia just starting out in a small in which her father had become an enforcer for. His enforcer role is part of a partnership given his gift as Weapon made him an excellent ally in combat or in an individual role as he was able to bring out his garrote strings in his human form..this talent was lost to his daughter. Her own Weapon form hadn't been developed until the age of eight after a mishap at an ice skating practice when she changed to break her fall. Instead of bare skin hitting the unforgiving ice, it was soft leather skipping across it..it was a shock to the young girl.

    Her training as a Weapon began after that fateful day under the supervision of the careful eyes of her father and a few souls brave enough to try wielding the volatile Weapon who's skittish nature sometimes turned the wires on the host out of pure panic. This instinct was carefully curbed by the reassuring words of her father who would be equipped in the other hand, creating an equally deadly united front against any practice targets in their way. Her first mission as the trio was at the tender age of eleven as the situation was getting relatively dire..and the two nearly lost their lives after accidentally being separated as a their Meister had the misfortune of getting both hands broken by falling rubble. Not knowing if changing back to normal would shift the rubble further and lead to another death, her father took a chance and changed back, becoming pinned beneath rock quickly, not before stretching out his hand to get Gia out of range. The saying out of the frying pan and into the fire would apply directly to the situation as enemy gunmen surrounded the helpless girl, as fear paralyzed her into fleeing into her Weapon form without a second thought. Only the quick-thinking of a young enforcer just a few years older than her, halted her pending execution with a singular bullet blowing the brains out one enemy, before diving in to slip the Weapon onto his left hand.

    The clear bonding of Souls was immediate as a surge of power and bloodlust jolted through Gia's veins as the remaining enemy stood immobilized as the razor sharp wire curled around throats, legs and hands tightening with each passing minute all facing their grim reaper who had a smirk on his lips. The arrogant attitude of the Meister was astounding to the timid girl who merely muttered a quick thank you after the battle passed, as a stoic father merely watched the interaction as he was carted away for treatment. The result of the rubble paralyzed him from the waist down rendering him useless in combat and only suitable to coach his daughter from the sidelines. So the timid girl and arrogant teenage would end up forming one of the youngest enforcer partnerships in the entire history of the young gang. The boy's name was Rene, a feminine name one could say if it not for the threat of becoming victim to the youth's knife-nut tendencies if people even looked at him wrong. Then again all Gia saw was Rene as her partner and a mild crush on his roguish smile and devil-may-care attitude.

    Young love cannot last so it seems, as the missions became harder and more dangerous despite her tender age of only sixteen, and Rene's legal eighteen.Their body count of on the job murders was increasing with each passing year. The violence had made the girl's timid attitude into a quiet, but self-assured young woman, although much of the reassurance came from the boisterous Rene. Their relationship was one built deeply on trust for one another..and fleeting flirtations on Rene's part just to provoke a scarlet face from Gia with her rapid protests. Still, it was hard for the elder to deny the rushes of affection the young woman washed over him in combat as their souls danced with one another. However, in the criminal underworld of gangs, nothing can truly be considered sacred.

    The one fact would forever tear their partnership apart..and that was the declining health of her father. Weakness in the Yakuza even from a former high-ranking member was something that could end being a liability to the entire organization. So under the impression of a simple dinner taking place, Rene shot her father point-blank with a pistol without a second thought. The flood gates opened as the life blood of her only loved one flowed onto once pristine white carpet..as Rene pointed out the reasoning behind the assassination..which made logical sense in his mind. What he did not expect next was having a steak knife slammed into his as tears blinded his partner who hurled insult after insult, beating blows onto his chest as grief racked the girl's fragile body.

    An intimate moment was shared that night as feelings of grief and need to be comfort overtook Gia's normally rational mindset. The next morning, Rene woke up alone with a farewell note next to him. The girl vanished without a trace despite all his attempt to track her down..after all Death City isn't exactly on a single map now is it? Her heart was shattered by the man she had come to love for betraying her trust..yet still she longs for the comfort of his embrace. With her fresh start in Death City, this former assassin may have a chance to truly see the light from the eyes of an innocent human once again after all hunting keshin could be a way to atone for her numerous sins..or so she hopes.

    The sounds of Mac snoring echoed around the small apartment of Damian, and Andre that he was squatting in for the time being. Mac sleep on the couch, half under a blanket with his beanie covering his eyes, and his head phones on, blasting music in his ears. Damian was up, and already to go for his first day as a teaching assistant. He shook his head at the sight of Mac as he scratched at his cast. So annoying to be taken out of the field like that. "Wake up." Damian ordered as he shook Mac's leg to wake him him.

    "Let me sleep you fucker!" Mac groaned as he kicked at him with his other leg. Mac turned back over to try and go asleep. "Get up! You're going to be late for your first day!" Damian said as he pulled his covers completely off. "Then I'll be late damnnit! Let me sleep you one armed bastard!" Mac growled. Damian rolled his eyes in annoyance. He kneeled down, and used his good arm to tip over the couch, rolling Mac off the couch. "Time to get up." Damian then turned around, and went to the kitchen for some breakfast. "I really fucking hate you." Mac groaned as he got up. "I know you mean love."

    "Go get dressed, and whatever you need. I'll drop you off. I've gotta go meet with Lord Death today."
    Damian opened the frig, and shuffled through it's insides as he looked for something to eat. Mac was already getting his clothes on as he was talking. "I don't need to be carpooled Mom." Mac said as he tied his sweater around his waist. He grabbed his skateboard that was leaning against the wall. "Besides, me and Denise have this covered." Mac said as he held up his precious skateboard. "Of course you named your skateboard." Damian smirked as he poured a glass of OJ. Mac grabbed his backpack, and went to one of the cupboards, and pulled out a box of pop-tarts. He took one out, and put in his mouth, and with that he was out the door.

    Image
    Stamp On The Ground

    Mac put his headphones on, and jumped on his skateboard as soon as he was out the door. He rolled down the hallway of the apartment buliding, and jumped up, and grinded down the hand rail of the stairs to get to the ground floor. He continued to skate, rather recklessly, towards the DWMA for his first day. He weaved around people, and cars, while getting lots of dirty looks, which caused a slight smirk to run across his face. This is his idea of fun. Mac began doing fancy kickflips along the way, and even at one point jumped over a rather large dog that was being walked.

    He looked down at his watch, and saw that he was nearing being late. Mac rolled his eyes, and began picking up the pace. He was taking back alleys by this point to make good time. Over the few months he's been in Death City, he's gotten to know her pretty well. It wasn't before long, thanks to his 'creative' skating he man it to the big ass stairs. Mac hopped off his board, and picked her up off the ground. He placed her in his backpack, and started the trek up the stairs. Why is there so many stairs?

    It took about two minutes, but he finally made it to the top. "Fu....Fuck that!" Mac huffed. He is in no way out of shape, but even an Olympic athlete would need a second after that. Eventually he caught his breath, and continued on. Outside the bulding was a table that had a handmade sign covered in glitter, and little drawlings of flowers, rainbows, smiling suns, and skulls that said Registration in big bold letters. Behind the table was Nurse Kava, and Professor Armstrong. Mac raised an eyebrow at the sign, obvious work of Nurse Kava. On top of the table was a bunch of name tags labeled 'Weapon', and 'Meister' on them.

    "Hihihihi! Get you a name tag, and go talk to people! Find you a partner!" Nurse Kava announced to a group of students that arrived at around the same time Mac did. Her voice was very energetic, and fast, almost sounding like one big unaudioable word. It takes a bit to get used to her energy. Mac grabbed a Meister name tag, and scribbled his name on it, though it was barely legible. Meanwhile Nurse Kava took out a big ass thermal container full of coffee that was about the size of her forearm, and began guzzling it down.

    Mac looked over at the Professor who was face palming pretty hard at this point. Mac took his skateboard out, and tossed her on the ground, and hopped on her. He began rolling away from the registration table, and started doing kickflips, and other such tricks that he could do. Unfortunately there wasn't a whole lot of stuff to jump off of outside the school.

    What A Catch, Donnie. || Fall Out Boy

    Cate woke up by sun shining into her eye, and a Quicksilver figurine blocking part of the sun form her eyes. She heard her mom cooking, and Cate smiled, taking in the sweet smell of the morning. Mornings always smell the best. As Cate got up off her bed, she fell and smacked her head off the ground, making her mothers cat jump.

    "Cate!?"Her mom called worried, and Cate responded. "I'm good." She said and got up easily, rubbing her head. She felt like collapsing, but instead chose out a cute outfit and threw it on, then brushed her hair and teeth. "Looking pretty good, Cate." She told herself, smiling at her appearance in the mirror while looking at her Quicksilver figurine once more. It was like he was wishing her luck.

    She walked out of her, room and was greeted by her loving mother. Cate loved her mother, and looked up to her as a role model. Her mom kissed her cheek and sat her down. "Here. Eat this then- Be gone!" Her mom joked, and smiled. Cate nodded and dug into her favourite meal ever- Waffles. Cate finished up her juice then grabbed her bag and ran out the door. "Bye mom! Love you!" Cate said as she closed the door, and could hear a muffled 'love you more!' from her mom inside.

    Cate made her way through the crowds of people walking to work on the sidewalks, as she finally reached the DWMA. She stood there in awe for a second, then broke her gaze. The stairs are way too long!! Then Cate imagined Quicksilver running up it, as she suddenly felt a burst of energy as she bolted up the stairs, and made it up there in just a minute.

    Soon Cate was inside, with a name tag on her shirt, and looking around an empty classroom. She wondered where everyone was, and what was wrong with that nurse. Shouldn't one cup of coffee be enough?

    Jiyuu no Tsubasa | For Real | Tightrope | Rocks | Crossing Field
    {“If the world were merely seductive, that would be easy. If it were merely challenging, that would be no problem. But I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day.”-E.B White}

    As Naro approached the cusp of the tan concrete at the train station he smiled at the city before him. Clutching the note from his father, Naro looked up confidently. Today is the day, the day all my family's trust in me is justified. As his sandaled foot hit the road a car whooshed past him with a loud roar and a yell and some sort of hand gesture. Naro tilted his head. Perhaps I offended him with my unannounced entry? Aha! That's it! I must announce I am passing through, otherwise the guardians of the black trail will look upon me with disdain.

    Clearing his throat and slamming his hands together bowing his head Naro shouted out at the road.

    "I BEG PASSAGE THROUGH YOUR LAND OH GREAT SPIRITS!"

    Looking up briefly, seeing no more "beasts" rushing by, Naro smiled and said a quick prayer of thanks before crossing the black stretch to the other side. He felt very proud that he discovered such a custom all on his own without help from a local. He had a bit of a strut in his step as he made his way, in accordance to a map his maid had given him, to the DWMA. The stairs alone were formidable, the building was lavish, everything about it screamed adventure. Naro grinned, his black eyes glowing with ambition.

    I'm so close to my first step to glory.

    As his foot touched the first step a herd of other staff members and students rushed past him, trampling him under foot. Apparently they were late. After the hoard cleared, Naro stood shakily, battered and bruised he brushed off his outfit and made his way up the steps. Assuring himself these things happened to everyone, such humiliates would improve his resistance to such things. Once he reached the top a perky woman handed him a name tag and ushered him on his way.

    Once entering the correct area he spotted a few students had arrived and there was the teacher as well. If he learned anything in his life it was that in such situations it would be best to remain silent until addressed directly Nodding out of respect to the teacher he made his way over to a spot and sat in a cross-legged position on the ground, he figured destiny would lead his partner to him. As such he would meditate, he had a lot to recall from the crash course on customs his friends had given him.

    Amaya woke with the sun. It streamed in through the window of the small apartment she'd settled into, peeking through the thin curtains to light up the bare room. The one personal thing, besides Amaya's clothes and a single book, that occupied the room thus far was a half finished quilt, a project she'd brought out of the orphanage, made of scraped together scraps of ruined shirt and tattered dress. It, and the beaten up gym bag it was in, clashed a little with the soft beige and nearly sterile appearance of the room.

    Amaya shook herself out of her revery, and quietly berating herself for wasting those moments. Finally getting around to actually enrolling in DWMA, after arriving during the summer, she couldn't afford to be late. She hopped out of bed and quickly got herself ready for the day. She had a simple slice of toast for her breakfast, with a glass of water, and glanced at the clock. She had some time before she had to be at the academy. Could she go grab some essentials from the grocery store, put them away in the apartment, and get back to school before then? Probably not, but it was definitely something she'd do on the way back afterwards. She also needed to go check out the library, and see if they carried romance novels.

    With her plan for the day set, Amaya set off for the academy at a brisk walk. She noticed the amount of others around her own age headed the same direction, obviously other students, and wondered if she'd get along well with them. If she'd make friends, be useful, maybe even find love. However, she was knocked out of her thoughts by almost being bowled over by a boy on a skateboard. She huffed and put her hands on her hips in annoyance. She chose to ignore his carelessness.

    Instead, she noticed a man in an apron in front of the grocery store. He wasn't very tall, but he was trying to reach up and hang a basket on a high hook. Without thinking, or announcing her presence, Amaya took the basket from his hands and hooked it up for him.
    "Oh, thank you very mu..." He began to say, but his voice trailed off when he turned and looked up at Amaya. Amaya stared back, blankly. The man started to look uncomfortable.
    "It's not a problem." She replied, though the man cut her off.
    "W-would you like some fruit?? As thanks??" He said, a painful looking smile on his face. Amaya sighed with a frown, which didn't help the guys nerves, and nodded. Her intimidating appearance had made things awkward again. On the positive side, she now had a shopping bag with some free fruit in it. It occurred to her as she walked away, though, that she'd probably look a little odd carrying a shopping bag of fruit to school. She didn't have time to take it back to her apartment.

    However, she got a laugh later when she passed the skateboard boy on the stairs. Apparently her brisk walking had been more effective than she might have thought, she'd somewhat kept up, and closed the gap when he couldn't skate. Slow and steady wins the race after all. She considered calling out and scolding him for his reckless disregard for other pedestrians, but she had a feeling he wouldn't really listen, or may even enjoy annoying people on the streets. Instead she turned her attention to the alarmingly sparkly desk, behind which sat a woman and a very large flask. Amaya paused at the desk, internally cringing as she waited for the woman to look and get spooked. She was surprised when there was no real reaction. The woman spoke, but Amaya, still fumbling a little with English (languages had never been her strength), couldn't quite make out what she said. However, the woman had gestured to the table, and the nametags thereon. Amaya looked and, after a moment, realised half said "Weapon" and the other half said "Meister". Amaya snatched up a tag that said "Weapon", and wrote her name underneath, carefully so that it was legible, and in Japanese as well as English. After that was registration, though there were a number of interesting characters that distracted her before she got there. For one thing, a boy in traditional Japanese clothes got trampled by a sudden influx of students, and another, the skateboarding boy was doing tricks. She slowed to a halt as the (presumably) Japanese boy sat on the ground in a meditating position.

    Strange world. At least her shopping bag didn't look that weird in comparison.

    Amaya considered her situation, before deciding to throw caution to the wind for a moment. Though, she only partially did, since she subtly checked the Japanese boy's tag, signed "Naroshihara Onda", and sighed some relief that he was another weapon. That made things much more simple.
    "Pardon me." She said. "But what are you doing on the floor?"

    Dawn came with rosy fingers. Watching the Sun rise over Death Valley is a truly wondrous sight. The Sun was shaking the blear from its eyes as it slowly began to work up its traditional laugh. A silhouetted figure could be seen sitting at the window of the Nurses Station in the DWMA. Malcolm Fate was sitting on the windowsill cross legged, looking absentmindedly out of the window. Ever since he had broken up with his last partner, he had been forced to stay in the Nurses office, as Lord Death deemed it unsafe for him to live alone. Today was to be the day that changed. He was getting a partner. this time they wouldnt assign him one, this time he was to decide himself. Malcolm wasn't sure how to do that and the thought scared.....yet it also excited him. No one would be able to tell, as Malcolm is nearly incapable of showing his emotions.

    The door flew open and a familiar voice echoed through the once silent room."Goooooooooooood Morning Malcolm!!!! Are you ready for your first day being with your new partner!! I hope sosososososososo much you find someone who really gets you!!!! It's time to....." Nurse Ania stopped in the middle of her sentence when she saw Malcolm. Malcolm had simply looked over his shoulder at her when she had entered. His bed was made but he was still in his pajamas. Nurse Ania's face betrayed a frown and quickly walked over to him and sat down.

    "You didn't sleep last night again, didn't you?"

    Malcolm stared at her blankly and slowly shook his head.

    *Sigh*"Are you scared....or...or..excited?" She asked with a concerned looks in her eye.

    Malcolm stared blankly for a few moments before slowly nodding. Ania seemed confused.

    "Well, which one silly head?"

    "Both." He stated with zero inflection.

    Her smile returned to her. "Well that's normal Malcolm! Everyone feels that way today! Now get ready and dressed! You can use the Chemical shower like usual. I have to go set up the booth before nine. I made it so pretty today! You're gonna love it! See ya out there! With a spring back in her step, she zoomed out the door. A second after the door slammed, it quickly opened again, poking her head in. "OH! And heres your name tag, I made it SPARKLY! Don't forget to eat your breakfast silly!" *SLAM* Malcolm was alone in the room once more, a bright neon pink and blue name tag with his name written in glitter below the bedazzled word WEAPON, lay in his hand.

    Nurse Ania's words had made him feel a little more confident. If everyone was feeling like this, than maybe it would be easier to find a partner than her thought. With new determination, Malcolm slowly got ready for the day, remembering to eat the energy bars that Ania had left for him. He put on his White beanie last and was out the door.

    Malcolm slowly walked through the halls of the DWMA before reaching a common meeting area. He sat and waited for a few hours and slowly kids began to trickle in. When the kids started arising, Malcolm immediately lost most of his confidence. He had no idea how to approach anyone with a conversation, let alone have one. He just....can't talk like other people can. He tried to go unnoticed for at least a little while. He got up and found a quiet corner but still in the room.

    He pulled out his Harmonica and began to play. Like always, he played his Soul

    Alexei Vanya Stukov

    Rose Tattoo || Dropkick Murphys

    Alexei snorted as the music alarm kicked in, with his own MP3 player hooked up to it, blaring music at him as he sat up with a quiet groan. Today was the first day of his time with the DWMA, for all the good and ill that would bring. Good, for he was indeed a Weapon and could hardly utilize that talent on his own. For ill, since he had to deal with potentially aggravating and irritating fellow students and even, and the usage of the word might have made him ill, peers in the pursuit of becoming potent Meister and Weapon teams. Alongside other academic pursuits, those that he would look far more forward to than simply being the tool for some man, or woman, who he had no respect for. He could only hope and, if he were of a religious mindset, pray that he could work with whomever ended up partnering with him. That was what he was expecting today to be, figuring out who worked with who, whether they liked it or not, and probably getting classes sorted out to work around such groupings and the like. As Alexei hauled himself out of bed, and grabbed his pack of smokes, he had to wonder how long it would be until he could get to the library and begin working there in peace.

    Pulling out one of his cigarettes and lighting it, he went about his morning routine like he had been the past few days. He had not been in Death City, which was a wonderfully inspiring name the more Alexei thought on the name, for long enough to really get to know any locals, thankfully. First off was breakfast, as he threw some frozen meal into the microwave and went about heading for the shower while the meal began cooking in the microwave, stubbing out his cigarette into an ash tray as he passed it. Showering and smoking didn't really work together, as much as he had tried to figure out otherwise. But he showered quickly, making sure he was clean and presentable before he went back out into the little kitchenette area, pulling out the meal as it finished cooking and sat in a towel, watching the morning news and weather as he ate. Another hot day, apparently, which he did not approve of. Beyond that, nothing unusual or interesting in the news. He sighed as he finished eating and threw the trash into the bin and went back to his room, going about getting dressed. His closet was just multiple copies of the same outfit, with a few additions for cold weather expeditions. But none of that was necessary, so it was his usual attire.

    Once dressed, Alexei made sure the apartment was clean before he left. It would save him time when he got back home for the evening, he wouldn't have to clean then. Walking out of the apartment, he locked the door behind him and lit a second cigarette. It would last him most of the trip to the DWMA, and hopefully he would not need another while he was there. He did not know the policy on smoking at the Academy, and he would rather not light up just to have an instructor yell at him for it. But he walked down the streets and side alleys, arms behind his head in a relaxed manner as he ignored the goings on around him as the city woke up for the day. He eventually arrived at the way too many bloody stairs and as he looked up the looming set of stairs he sighed, grinding out the cigarette butt under his shoe and sticking his hands in his pockets before muttering to himself. "That is just plain inefficient. That many stairs is just uncalled for..."

    Alexei eventually reached the top of the stairs, in a far less pleasant mood than he had started them in, and saw other students had arrived and had nametags marked Meister and Weapon with accompanying names. Handing the tags out was an overcaffinated and hyper as all get out woman, the nurse who's name eluded him right now. Another instructor behind her was clearly not in the happiest of states with the situation, something that Alexei could fully agree on. Taking a Weapon tag and scrawling his name out, he stalked off in an attempt to find the library, dismissing the other students fully. He would either find the library, or he wouldn't or would be stopped. In that case he would find himself someplace quiet and secluded to sit and wait for someone who looked like they were worth dealing with to arrive, Meister or otherwise. In the meantime, the chattering nurse had already grated on his nerves, and he muttered in Russian under his breath, talking to himself about the situation he was currently in. He was confident that no one would be able to understand him, maybe even recognize the language he was speaking in. The latter would be even more ideal than the former.

    Gia Weste

    Beep...beep...beep

    A small grumble beneath a small heap of blankets. A wandering hand trying to reach the source of the noise.

    Beep..beep..*click.*. The hand coming down soundly onto the electronic alarm clock as a rumpled-looking young girl slowly sat up from her blanket cocoon. Yawning as Gia struggled to find the motivation to leave the comfort bed beneath her and face the challenges of the day. Excitement and nerves warred in her mind as today would be the first official day of her new life as a Weapon for the DWMA. Would her previous training with her father be relevant at all or would she have to be forced into a new way of accepting changes. As her bare feet padded into a small bathroom, violet eyes stared tiredly back at her reflection as she began her morning routine.

    Several minutes later, there was another roadblock in the way as Gia stood in front of her closet in an attempt to figure out what would aid her first impression. Her closet was a bit uptight and professional-looking for a girl her age, not a single pair of jeans was seen in the interior. A decision was eventually made as she quickly ate a piece of toast before locking the door to her humble studio apartment shut. Already the sun was shining brightly as she made her way to the massive academy just on the horizon, there were a few detours along the way that she couldn't bring herself to pull away. Such as a hasty game of hopscotch or giving an adorable stray a fond pat on the head, a genuine smile on her face as she finally reached the set of impossibly long concrete steps before her.

    Said smile was turned into a grimace as she ascended to the top of the stairway. Sweat beaded her forehead as she swiped a stray piece of hair from her face. Smoothing down her outfit as a familiar pit of nerves settled in stomach as she navigated around the massive crowds of students socializing and as expected showing off and bragging. It seemed there had already been one victim to the crowds as an elegantly dressed boy appeared quite rumpled, but was being assisted by a kindly looking girl. Finally approaching an official-looking desk which was tarnished with a mess of pink. Pink was everywhere as an excitable Nurse greeted her before gesturing her to take a name tag. With a single ball-point pen as she scripted out 'Gia Weste' in flowing letters, a skill that she had always taken pride in.

    Choosing to sit on a comfortable looking couch, not in the depths of the crowded room, but not far enough that she would be considered alone. Chatter buzzed around her as she nervously patted down the crisp fabric of her skirt. Her attire was a bit too uptight it seemed. Her feet were strapped into small black heels, followed by a black skirt reaching just above her knees. Well the bottom half of her attire wasn't so out of place, but her upper half was. A comfortable-looking grey blazer covered a elegant-looking white shirt underneath it. Finally around her throat was a red tie that matched the ribbon in her hair. A sharp contrast to all the band t-shirts, ripped jeans and mini skirts about the room. Her hands flexed as she debated the possibility of sneaking away from the crowd, but her feet remained firmly planted on the ground as she was trying to fix her habit of avoiding conflict. Said conflict could have been friendly or hostile..it wasn't something she enjoyed having to deal with. Her Weapon nametag glinted in the light as the laminated surface reflected her name.

    Dancing With Myself

    The light sunrays gleamed through the slit in the curtains as classical music flowed forth from the alarm clock. Kento’s eyes fluttered open as he sat up in his bed. His arms stretched over his head, and he got out of the bed. As he pulled the curtains open, sunlight flooded his room. Not being fully awake, Kento looked downward, obscuring his eyes from the brightness. In a graceful swooping motion, he pushed his bangs from his eyes and took in the sunlight. Taking in the sights of the city, he smiled closing his eyes tightly as he yawned. His eyes immediately popped open and his mouth snapped shut. Disgusting…

    Kento rushed to the bathroom, swiftly picking up a toothbrush and applying toothpaste to it. He sighed in relief as he hastily brushed his teeth. He mumbled quietly to himself as the brush moved in and out across his teeth.

    ”It’s important to wake up beautifully, or the day is sure to reflect it.”

    After fulfilling his need for dental hygiene and a shower, Kento strolled over to his closet. He stood and pondered, examining his large array of clothing wondering what would be appropriate for his first day. Should he go with something a bit more formal, or relaxed and casual? In the end, he decided on a white shirt covered by a black vest and black pants. To make the outfit more relaxed, he skipped any sort of necktie and allowed the top buttons to remain open. Slipping on the clothing, he walked to the bookcase, putting on his glasses. Turning back to his now closed closet, he looked at his reflection on the mirrored doors. He smiled running his fingers through his hair until it was ideal.

    ”Perfect.”

    Kento walked into the kitchen, grabbing a black shoulder bag and three energy bars from a large stack on his kitchen counter. On the way out the door of his apartment, her opened the fridge and grabbed two bottles of tea as well. Shoving them all into the bag, Kento closed the door and jogged down the stairs. Checking his watch, he saw he had plenty of time to get to the DWMA, so there was no reason to rush. Kento slowly ambled down the roads, waving at certain vendors he’d become familiar with offering a few words of greetings and a smile. Soon he approached the steps of DWMA. Smiling to himself, he set off, jogging up the steps. Thankfully he’d moved in months ago and made it a habit of running up the steps at least once a day.

    After a few minutes, Kento had made his way to the top of the stairs. He smiled broadly, congratulating himself. As he took his first step, he dropped to the ground. For a while, he laid there, cursing at himself. He’d forgotten to eat his energy bars. He sat up, allowing himself a break as he consumed the bar and a tea. Once he’d finished, he stood and brushed himself off. With a flourish he took off his glasses, shook his hair, and ran his fingers through it, finishing with placing his glasses back on his face.

    He then strolled up to the registration desk clad in pink adornments. Nurse Kanta and Professor Armstrong were standing behind it handing out nametags. Kento picked up one that said Meister and wrote his name. He then placed it on the right side of his shirt, nodded and waved to the professors then proceeded to the classroom. When he walked in, he noticed there was already a nice sized group of students there already. Looking aound the room, he noticed quite a few characters, but one caught his eye in particular. There was a girl sitting on a couch who seemed to be incredibly nervous. Smiling, Kento walked over to the couch.

    ”Why hello there. May I just say that I love your attire? It suits you nicely.”

    May as well start making friends!
