BEST FEATURE
Aria likes her hair much more than any other feature she posses. Smooth the the touch it's as if one is feeling silk that flows in beautiful chocolate colored tresses, curling slightly at the ends. In the water though is when it truly shines. Dancing is hair when it's beneath the water and free is her soul when it billows around her head like a vague crown.

INSECURITIES
If eyes are the window to the soul then she has none least it be boring to look at. They're brown, not blue as might one expect, and a dull shine to them at that. Nothing like the deep blues of the ocean, or a whiskey color in the morning - no it could be compared to dirt which hasn't been watered in months. And despite wanting to sheild them from view, Aria finds bangs to be much more troublesome.

GENERALX APPEARANCE
To Aria, while appearances doesn't dictate who you are as a person, she still is very conscious of what she looks like. Her hair is maintained regularly and though many might argue that her fashion sense isn't that good, she finds what she wears to be in style. With hoodies too large for her five foot six frame, and loose shirts it doesn't define her curves or accentuates any assets. She could care less though, if it looks good and is comfortable that's enough for her.

Her skin being a color so pale it looks almost translucent, she burns easily and leaves marks that won't go away easily. A glowing sun-kissed tan is out of the question, but a complexion of pure red isn't. In fact, it's happened more than once. Exposure to the sun, even under water, has harmful effects on her skin and so despite wanting to spend every minute swimming she cannot for fear of a skin cancer developing - just as it had for her mother.

Swimming, being a large part of her life, has made her lean in the calves and strong in the biceps and triceps. Not overly so for her muscle won't allow it, but enough so that she doesn't look the part of a weak and helpless girl. She can pack a punch when needed, but hasn't had the chance to do so as of yet. She's just waiting for the day when someone crosses her path and feels the pain of seventeen years worth of despair.

EMPATHETIC ✦ LOYAL ✧ ASOCIAL ✦ IMPARTIAL (?) ✧ ALOOF

Quite is Aria in the face of socialization, but her thoughts being something which cannot be tied down. Alone she is most her self but the isolation making her crave for affection which she does not have the will to seek out. Cowardly it may be, but safe she is always because of that. Let no one in and they cannot hurt her, the only harm that could happen would have to be done upon herself, and her self-protection is something she values greatly.

This is not to say she dislikes people though, in fact she adores them. How they act with each other in different situations never ceases to amaze her - no matter how cruel they may be. More then being a character in the book of life, she feels more like a reader; watching everything crumble around her and yet not able to do anything. With everything being said though, she will not turn away any one who needs help. She doesn't have it in her to judge people too harshly for she knows the effects of such treatment. Almost motherly is the advice she gives, but deciphering it may not be as simple. With words that hold two meanings one never knows exactly what her thoughts are. It's not intentional though, in fact she's tried to stop the habit of hers many a time; each trial ending in failure.

With such quietness though is the birth of someone who's willing to follow whomever she deems to be worthy. This is to say she has her own morals and will abide by them until she can breath no more. And while one might say she is weak-willed she still has a mind of her own. Aria knows her limits and will take the best course of action with the minimal amount of damage. One should not take her submissiveness as a weakness, but rather as an asset which they may utilize if they play their cards correctly. For convincing her to join their side one must have a solid reasoning, if none is able to do so she is impartial.

┍━━━X LOVE X ━━━┑

With the ability to control water she absolutely loves the freedom that comes with it. How, when in control, it dances without a care in the world, and the way the sun's reflection is a mirage on the oceans ripples and waves. And then there is the sand; it feels as though she is walking on hardened clouds and even if she fell it might catch her. She knows though that even with lovely weather, the tides may change in an instant and consume her whole just as she had let it before.

Image
┍━━━XHATEX━━━┑

There are few things she hates more than lighting, but one that comes fairly close to doing so would be fish. Not only eating it is appalling, but the way they glide against her when in the water with their slimy scales. Although, she's gained a new appreciation for them in biology, one of her worst subject and often where she greets the sandman to lull her to sleep.

QUIRKS & HABITS
Aside from speaking in riddles, she often finds herself writing about the events of her past life on a cellphone story. Thus far she has a following of more than a thousand. Often she wonders if they were her people at one point before her death. She also has a nasty habit of sometimes smoking, counterproductive to her swimming career.

STRENGTHS
Swimming It's only obvious that she's very good at the sport for if she wasn't it'd be much harder to control her powers.
Moral Reasoning With such a strength is means never being persuaded into doing something she doesn't want to.

WEAKNESS
Isolated Never being beautiful, extremely intelligent, or very approachable looking means she isn't spoken to that often. She's not shunned per say, but rather no one takes notice of her. As a consequence she doesn't know some of the social norms which leads to humiliation.
Not vocal Her thoughts are her own and so she doesn't feel a need to express her opinions. As such though it means she must follow the crowd at times even if she doesn't believe it's right.

FEARS
Ironically enough she fears what lies beneath the ocean. Her domain is the liquid itself, not the creatures in which it inhabits. And deathly afraid is she of being in the water during a lightening storm.

__AT FIRST SIGHT
Brought to life white was the first thing that greeted my arrival, and the last thing my mind remembered. Key was it to my survival, and yet the very thing which haunted my dreams - twisted my desires into needs and gave no pity. With wonder I thought, "If white be the thing to deceive and corrupt, is black a world in which everything is pure? If so I will spend my days walking at night, looking toward the stars for guidance.'

__A DEATH NOT NEEDED
Confusion was the verdict of why I had done such a thing, but the explanation was not needed for once done life may not have a redo. And such I reflected upon my actions and with caution I knew what must happen; to atone for my sins a life must be given. In secrecy I spoke words of death to the Water Bringer a night before my end. Not to worry I had said with intentions that he wouldn't stop me from my final act. And with a chime of the clock rang and I bid him farewell.

__ALMOST AN END
Farewells were said and at once I was ready to end a life I could not call my own anymore. Taking a tentative step I felt the water which welcomed me recoil from my touch, almost as if they knew of my intentions. I shushed them and wadded into the icy blackness where it stopped above my waist and standing there I smiled. With a screech though I hadn't the time to turn around before I felt a quiet stinging in my chest, and slowly ever so slowly I fell into the water where it engulfed me whole. Only the reflection of She Who Stalk's In The Night did I notice a grin which held a vendetta I knew not of.

LET'S REWRITE A STORY

Today we see a girl, a writer if you will, who watches the world with a cold-detachment. A girl who was born to love and yet never had the chance to. With a birth to a married coupled soon brought to the hands of angels Aria knew her life would be one filled with loneliness, and despite wanting to never became the little girl her parent's wanted her to be; Energetic, smart, and beautiful. She was not a disappointment but rather what they hadn't expected and to her that meant failure. A word that can crush her.

For three years she was given residence with her aunt and uncle, but distant was their relationship. Never having met them in her earlier child-hood meant a sort of awkwardness. It was the feeling of 'I should love you, but I don't know who you are.'

Another day, another year ahead of her. Yoko was looking forward to her first day at the academy in Skiya. She had heard good things from it and now that she was a 3rd year, maybe she would get some respect. Well, she already had a lot of respect but she could always use more. The 4'7" girl hopped out of her bed and stretched ready to get herself dressed and preped for the day.

She could already smell the food coming from down the stairs. Her mother worked from home while her father was out the house most of the day. She was use to it by now. She opened her closet and pulled out a lovely sky blue dress. Quite fitting for the first day, but if anyone got the wrong idea, she'd pound them. She placed her hair into two flowing tails and began to put on a bit of make up. She had often had dreams about the gods telling her about what was destined for not only her but the rest like her. She knew they would be there today. She didn't live too far from it, so she was able to move her things into her new dorm room.

Since her birth, the gods had always spoke to her, just like the others. They foretold the stories of her past lives. All in detail. She was conflicted, angry and saddened. Was this what the previous zodiac was like. She promised them that she wouldn't allow failure ever again. She was a woman of her word. If she would encounter the zodiacs today, she would surely give them a piece of her mind; nice or angry.

She hurried down the stairs and kissed her mothers cheek before eating with her. Her parents didn't know what she was capable of. She was quite well and keeping it secret too. Once she finished up, she grabbed her bag and began to head out the door. She took this time to be by herself and practice her lightning. She could see the light sparks forming in her hands. It was beautiful. Almost like a dream. She still couldn't believe that she was capable of such a thing. She hummed and began to stroll down the path to the academy. She could already see some students in the courtyard. She found a nice bench to sit at and sighed slightly. "Well, first day better be filled with good impressions."

Katsu lay under the covers of her bed just a lump under the covers. She had been awake for over an hour, awoken by another nightmare of that terrible night.

Screaming....

Blood....

So much crying.

A woman holding a child ran by.

How could you?!

You're killing us!

Killing...

Katsu shot out of bed, throwing the sheets away. Shaky deep breaths racked her body and slouched.

The guilt never went away. Never stopped. It tore Katsu apart and the only thing keeping her together was the idea of Skyia. Maybe there she'd get....something. Not revenge, just....justice.

Sighing she stood and shuffled towards her clothes. She had decided long ago that a shower wasn't worth it. Putting on a plane gray button up and jeans Katsu grabbed her bag and made her way down the hall. Her brother was already awake and waved as he entered his own room.

In the kitchen there sat a plate of food with a note. Katsu picked it up with dread in her heart.

Kat. Gone to the store. Sorry I can't be there when you leave. -♡Mom

Eyebrows wrinkling Katsu tossed the note and scrapped the food away. She didn't feel like eating today.

Her mom didn't know about her past life and Katsu would have it stay that way. She didn't want her to know about what she did.

Yelling a final goodbye to her brother Katsu left the house and began to slow trek to the Academy. What she'd find there, she really had no idea.

Gerard knew nothing of the others, other than the vague, haunting memories. "Cancer, they called me." He recalled the horrors of his confrontation with Capricorn, he shuddered. He could not imagine swallowing mother person, then again he deserved to die. He killed Libra, for no reason. Speaking Of Libra Gerard was dying to meet her, he had always felt strongly for her. He was deep in thought now as he had been last night, as a result he hardly got any sleep. He rose, being a senior he would only be in the academy for a year but he would take advantage of it fully. While he didn't really plan to have a plan to make friends he did want a sparring partner. Gerard had trained most of his life, his parents thought he simply wanted to defend himself, not that he was the reincarnation of Cancer.

A gentle knock on his door shook him out of his thought cloud. "Gerard honey, you'll be late for class if you don't hurry up." He smiled softly opening the door. "Okay mom, I'm ready." He walked out grabbing his bag and a case holding his spears. He hugged his mom, grabbed his lunch and made his way out the door. "I love you son." He nodded, he loved her as well she did her best for a single mother and he appreciated it all. He walked out on his way to school.

It took him an hour to get there on foot but he didn't care he rather walk than drive at the moment so he could work out his thoughts and worries. He played with his fingers turning them to steel and back again several times until he lost his breath. It was hard for him to change so rapidly but he used these quiet times to exercise his ability. It wasn't long before he reached his school, "Early guess I'll just hang about."

He got his schedule and decided to head straight for his home room. Upon arriving he noticed he wasn't alone and slunk into a desk in the back corner. He looked out the window, and saw her sitting on a bench. He suddenly stood and walked outside. Particularly bold on his part he walked up to her. "Uh hey, I'm Gerard. Mind if I sit?"

I'm a lovable asshole.

The winds whirled around two figures, a knife glistened in one of their hands. The moon behind them was full, and it held a bloody-crimson glow, foreboding the horror to come. The two figures seemed to be arguing, the one wielding a blade had backed the other against a wall. The one with deadly intent in his red glowing eyes shouted.

"Love me like I love you! I'd destroy anything, I'd murder nations for you! Why. . . Why don't you love me?"
He hunched over sobbing a bit. Then he jerked back up, swaying and stumbling a bit as he did, then he stared at her, his eyes full of a terrifying light. He sauntered towards her, like a broken machine doll on a loop. Step, shake, step. The woman shook her head, tears running down her face silently.

"You're mad. I could never." She cut herself off and looked away. This enraged the man, he charged her, screaming and stabbing, over and over. Showing no mercy at all as he stabbed, cutting flesh, mutilating as he did. Blood stained the earth and even the red moon seemed white. Dropping the knife and looking down, the man fell to his knees, clutching the woman in his arms, shaking and moving her hair with trembling hands.

"Why. . . Wh-what am I?"

Eisaku opened his eyes screaming and clawing at his face and eyes. Crying, he wiped his eyes and clutched his sleeping bag as he swung his legs over the side of his hammock. Today's the day, stiff upper lip. Then with a nod, Eisaku grabbed his hoodie, put on his skinny jeans and Converse and headed out of the apartment.

He had always felt different. He knew what he was. He was a Zodiac, Capricorn. Murderer. A man's voice in his head echoed over and over. Murderer. Shaking his head and crying again as he rubbed his eyes with the large cuffs of his hoodie he tried desperately to tune it out. Then as he walked he thought to himself, would the others today know? Would they hate him right off the bat? Maybe they wouldn't know who he was. Oh shit! What if they asked for your sign or something weird? I'm so fucked.

Eisaku walked slowly around the bend and boarded the bus to take him to Starry Sky Academy. Sounded like a pain, a pain for him. People he didn't know. People who would judge him, people who would hate him. He knew he wasn't any good. He had considered suicide on many occasions, however the thought of a woman always stopped him. That and his own voice, was it his? Inside him. A scary, raspy, version of his voice that dared him to submit to his dark desires.

Eisaku wasn't ready to give into that just yet.

*

Eisaku stepped off the bus and saw the Academy. He gasped a bit and stood on his tiptoes to get a look. With a whistle he smirked, don't let them know you're dying inside. Don't let them know you hurt. Don't let them know you cry yourself through the day. Don't let them see your flaws. Don't let them see you. He stepped into his homeroom, sat down in the back, and he repeated his mantra over and over again.

Terrified and excited all at once.

It's difficult to convince your parents that you're a devout member of a certain faith when you were brought up by voices that disprove that very faith. But, much like the others, Apis had to wear a mask of a certain degree in front of them, because to leave them ignorant was to protect them. Every morning his parents would go over the Sunni Islam creed with him, including reciting pieces from the six pillars of Iman, and each morning Apis would nod along and recite with them even though he knew there was no one, true God.

In fact, there were several.

They were the ones that created him, along with the others.

They were the ones that forced their creations into a council.

They were the ones that stood idly by as their creations descended on each other.

They were the ones who shamed their creations, ignoring their own lack of control.

Apis was certain in his belief that if the Gods had actually provided them direction, instead of leaving them with a responsibility and their own devices, that the need to retire the council for several thousand years and them grant them life again for a 'second chance' wasn't a necessary one. But regardless, the past was the past. They all did wrong by each other or by their followers. Apis himself had been tricked into selling his own people into slavery, but he had a long time to forgive and forget. And he had done just that. There was no use for age-old grudges, especially not in this new life. But he refused to be fooled again.

He would have to be wary, naturally, as he always had been wary, but this time he would have to keep a close eye on the others. Regardless of his trust being hard to earn, when it was earned, it was very much so worth it. There's no denying the value of his allegiance. A fierce determination and powerful control of self are often sought after in an individual. If he had his way, he'd be able to ally with all of the others, but that is one thing he doesn't have faith in. There are always some cogs in the machine that just don't turn the way you'd like them to.

After the routine with his parents, the three of them embraced and Apis set out for the academy, idly raising a hand to tug at the bit of hair that fell in front of his face. This was a habit he did often as he became lost in thought, one that had carried over from his previous life. Perhaps some of the others would be keen to pick up on it. He almost hoped so. It's nice to feel remembered. At least, it is for the good things.

He took the bus, and so it seemed, so did some of the others. Not that he was aware of it at the time, but still, he would later suppose that it was some sort of cosmic irony. Perhaps even intentional. Regardless, he didn't interact with anybody for the ride, and he didn't interact with anybody else after the ride, not even the two he saw by a particular bench, which he would later come to realize were another pair of Zodiacs. Funny how that works out sometimes. The thing is, however.

He probably wouldn't have spoken to any of them even if he had known.

_____FLASHBACK
Softly, ever so softly do words pour out of her mouth and with them her heart. She's bleeding, but a feeling of being numb makes the pain seem to mean nothing. "Truly do I deserve a punishment far worse than this." she thought as her body started to sink. From her point of view the moon was barely visible beyond the ripples of the water, and it was then that she realized the gravity of her situation. And yet she didn't yell or struggle for it was too late, but rather closed her eyes and let the ocean embrace her."Perhaps in another lifetime I could undo my mistakes."

_____INDEFINITE AMOUNT OF TIME LATER
"It's your turn," a voice said softly all the while trying to shove his body though the door "I believe in you," and with that the girl shut the door and and ran away while praying for her poor brother. For it is a known fact in the Chonis family that Arianna was not a light sleeper, nor was she particularly pleasant when woken up, and during the times when her phone alarm didn't do the trick it was up to the siblings to move the unmovable force. Now, it wasn't that she was angry during the morning, no rather she was calm, but the look she gave those who disturbed her is something which gave them all nightmares.

So while looking away the older brother pushed the sleeping girl's shoulder lightly and said in a hushed tone, "Aria, it's time to wake up." and then made a beeline to the exit but was stopped by the light rustling of blankets. The senior girl sat up in her bed with a head full of hair that could compare to a bird's nest and said in the most monotone voice known, "What hour should it be that the sun has risen so far up?", but her question was never answered as the door shut loudly behind her brother.

With a sigh she stepped out of her bed onto the cold hardwood flooring and wondered why when anyone asked anything of her they ran. Was she really so terrible that the sound of her voice repelled even her blood? But instead of trying to question their rather rude behavior she walked herself to the shared bathroom and brushed her hair as to make it presentable, and as always she wore it with two buns on the top of her head just as she had done it during her first year. It was a habit and one that died hard.

Aria checked the lock on her phone and saw she was running late by a few minutes and so opted to skip her usual breakfast for a granola bar and juice found in the fridge. As always she could eat in the bus.

And that was exactly as she did, but having to run the last little bit made her appetite go away even if for a second. Quickly she found a seat at the front of the bus not really paying any attention to other riders, and tried to open the packaging to her food without too much noise. Her effort was in vain though as crumbs fell into her lap after she tore the side off. Not carelessly though she brushed the food off her and put the granola bar on a napkin she had forgotten about until a moment ago when she was panicking internally.

It was already the start of a wonderful day.

_____SCHOOL
As the bus rolled to a stop Arianna grabbed her backpack and quickly darted off the bus and into the school, but not before saying the usual, "Thank you," to the driver to which he smiled and replied you're welcome. But as soon as her foot touched the ground her voice swelled as if someone was suffocating her, and everyone around her didn't seem to care or notice. Aria reached out in front of her but the sight of the school in front of her vanished and was then replaced with a memory she knew was her's but didn't remember.

Faces were vague, but distinctly she could remember their voices. How clear and full of hatred they were. "What do the God's call you by?" she wanted to ask, but as soon as her torment began it ended only to leave her in a state of confusion. "They called you the Maiden of the Sea my dear Pieces."

She wanted to say that their answer wasn't answering her question, but the five minute bell warned her to hurry to her homeroom class, and so walking at a fast pace she did. And as she came to her first period she noticed the lack of a seating chart and opted to sit in the middle where she could blend in seamlessly.

"With time all will become clear."

Running, endless running. Time was ticking down. If he didn't reach her soon enough it would be all over. She'd be gone forever and ever. And he'd be truly alone. He arrived finally to a scene of blood and death. The smell was wretched. Standing in the middle of it all was Aries. Covered in red. It all happened so fast and as soon as he saw her standing, she was on the floor lifeless. His throat was raw of screaming. Holding her made it no better. A friend, a sister, gone. Killed. Wronged. Betrayed.

Despite the nightmare, the memory, Toru's eyes opened gently. He had grown used to it and learned to overcome the terrors. Also every time he did jolt awake, Cocoa would be flung off the bed, which lead to much hatred from him. Of course as soon as Toru shifted under the covers, Cocoa let out his annoying call for food, making it so Toru had to get up even if he had an extra twenty minutes to nap. "Yes I get it buddy. I'm up." His voice was groggy as it always was in the mornings.

Being without parents at home, Toru had to be rather independent, doing everything for himself in the mornings. As if his mother ever did anything anyway. After feeding Cocoa he started up a pot of coffee on the new machine he purchased yesterday. Toru was rather lucky, for his job gave hefty paychecks. He was his own boss, and he had made quite a name for himself over the internet. Computer coding was rather difficult work and not many people were as perfect at the job as he was. Not to mention how low is prices were compared to others. It really worked out as it didn't matter how low his prices were, he definitely made more than the people with higher ones.

Whilst enjoying a hot cup of joe, Toru searched his closet for some appropriate attire. Settling for a plain purple tee and jeans, he set down his mug, took his clothes to the restroom and hopped in the shower. He showered every day, not because he needed to, but any moment he could get in the water was bliss to him. Once done with his shower he changed, brushed his teeth, and completed other arduous tasks to get ready. He returned to the kitchen where he could have some grub and make a lunch for his first day. He could go off campus with his car if he so chose, but he had a lot of groceries he had to power through.

Toru grabbed his backpack and looked around for Cocoa to say goodbye. The cat strolled over and meowed cutely as if it was his way of saying 'farewell, have a good day at school.' Toru smiled as he picked up the little feline and kissed his head. With that he head out to the apartment complex parking lot and found his GT. Yes a ridiculous car for a teenager to have. Because Toru decided he wasn't attending college, he put all his college savings from his grandparents, plus way too many paychecks, towards the beauty. He truly loved cars.

Once he began driving Toru turned on the radio. Eventually he found a station playing some EDM and left it there. His taste in music fit him rather well. At one point he passed the school bus, as he tended to due to the fact he went over the speed limit frequently. Still he has yet to receive a ticket. Just his luck. In his head he debated whether he should continue with his routine, which was leave a copy of himself in class while he worked in the computer lab. It was odd but no one seemed to notice. All the teachers and students assumed he was just a quiet guy who had no reason to answer questions or do work for that matter. Finally he decided against it as it was indeed his last year and he should try to make some friends before he loses the chance to.

After arriving to school, he parked his car in the most secluded section of the school parking lot. He had five minutes or so to make it to homeroom on time, so he rushed over. Even after three years already attending this school, he had zero friends. He didn't even recognize anyone at school still. Since it was his last year, he figured he would take some time to get to know everyone, mostly because he had nothing better to do. Looking around the classroom, Toru truly recognized no one. But one particular face caught his eye. It was a girl. A girl he felt he knew instantly as he looked at her. He was unaware of who she was, but she was absolutely gorgeous. She sat in the middle of the class and so did he now. He chose the seat to the left of her, but he failed to say anything as it was beyond his power. So he just sat there in his desk, tapping his fingers, taking quick little glances at her every time she looked away.

Yoko began to go through her phone and wonder. She hadn't met her roommate yet but through their messages she could tell they would be great friends. She wondered if she even had classes with her. She smiled slightly before noticing someone walking towards her. She raised her head from her dim screen and glared slightly. Oddly enough she felt she had met this person before.

"Um... Sure?" She said while rubbing her neck. "I mean, it's not my bench and all." She then looked at the time and quickly shot up. "Actually I need to get to class so. Goodbye." She said while walking away. She wondered why that guy seemed familiar. It was almost as if she had met him before.

She sighed and walked down the hall observing the people as usual. Man this school was so crowded all of the time. It was annoying and kind of exciting at the same time. She didn't have many friends nor did she intend on making a million of them. Many of them follow her on various social medias so I guess that counts to some standard.

Once she approached her first class, she opened the door and smiled to a few people before going to a seat and siting down. Now all she had to do was survive the first day without someone getting on her nerves and everything would be peachy. Hopefully.
