Personality: Elijah isn't necessarily bitter or evil. He's usually a very personable and happy person. He simply sees the world in terms of black and white, us verses them. The mutants are the them. Elijah suspends his high standards for the treatment of humans for mutants; he sees them as being inherently less than "pure" humans. Otherwise, Elijah is a very kind and understanding person.
Fears: Mutant domination.
Background story: Born in Herman, Missouri Province, New Midwestern Republic, Elijah grew up with the significant German population there. He was at the top of his class and attended Rice University in the FTR with a full ride scholarship. There he excelled at their applied genetics program, landing internships with Monsanto his Junior and Senior summer. Elijah was employed with a Free Texas Republic based genetic engineering firm out of college. He received the offer to join MUH in his early thirties and accepted.
