"Well, if I told you I'd have to kill you" Evie laughed slightly though she felt a little threatened at the undertone of serious she felt in Alex's tone. It made her wonder what exactly he was hiding. "In that case I think you shouldn't tell me. I have no intention on dying anytime soon." She replied lightly smiling towards the boy. Her gaze though slowly left hers and trailed towards the open window. It reminded her of how substantially different Earth and Reendria were, it's like they are completely opposite places right down to the minuscule details. Though to Evie, both were home and she couldn't imagine living her life without either of the two places. Just the though that she would have to give one up almost killed her. Joining the two worlds together seemed like a perfect idea though, she would never have to leave either of them. Though wouldn't that just ruin what she loved about both of them, and wasn't that just selfish talk? The whole situation is just so confusing.

"Hey sorry to do this Alex, but it seems i have some important Elf thing to deal with." Evie said apologetically to Alex as she motioned to the doorway. Gael, the Runic Elf Elder was standing in the now open doorway, though of course he had not made a sound while entering her house. He didn't say anything but he did nod apologetically to Alex for stealing Evie's attention away. Geal was dressed in the usual Runic Elven robes, though because he was a council member and the most senior one at that, his was slightly modified to show his position. Not that it was like anyone didn't know who he was and his position anyway. He was also clutching to his staff that was coated in many symbols and lines all in a vibrant blue. Traditionally the staves were used for channeling magic but theses days Gael seemed to use his more for leaning on when he walked. He wasn't quite as young as he used to be though he was still as powerful as ever and he commanded respect from all the Elves. Evie stood up, grabbing hers and Alex's plate and dumped them in the sink. "You welcome to stay of course, but it's only going to be boring talking in a language you can't understand." Evie said towards Alex before she walked over the Gael and bowed her head in respect.
