Skills:
- -Heka is very skilled in fighting be it simple hand to hand or with a weapon. Heâs lived long enough to learn how to use nearly every weapon mortals have made, and all those that deities use.
-Heka, being a hunter, knows a thing or two about tracking and locating.
-Heka is masterful in magic, therefore casting spells, negating wards, and the like come as second nature to him.
-Hekaâs knowledge of the supernatural is vast, so much so that most come to him for answers to many questions regarding the supernatural.
-Though not an herbalist by any means, Heka has enough knowledge to know what herbs can heal and which ones can kill.
Deficits:
- -Can be killed like any other deity, by a wooden stake drenched in the blood of a sorcerer, warlock, archmage, or wizard, but it must be through the heart.
-He can be easily distracted when the conversation of technology comes up. Heâs sort of a technology whiz, the 21st century calls this type of person a nerd.
-Heka often times is a bit to overzealous, meaning that he can be a bit too forgiving, or in need of something to do, so much so that he may create mischief just to keep busy.
-Attempts to hide his true self from the Hunters for fear of being killed by them if they were to find out that he is a pagan deity.
Distinguishing Marks:
Heka has a tattoo of his symbol in the lower half of his back, just above his buttocks. Though rather large, he tries to keep it from view for fear of someone asking questions about it. Aside from this, his eyes emit a odd purplish glow in the night, a sort of shimmer.[/center]
Heka is very odd to say the least. While itâs true that he is an all around great individual and loves to give and experience the emotions of the mortal realm, it goes to say that he often times relishes in the fact that no one aside from other deities, know who he is. Itâs like sleeping in bed with a woman and finding out she is a he. The thrill of such a thing excites him. Now he isnât just a good guy, he has his moments of darkness that drive him to harm, but it can be said that Heka is among the few deities that donât want destruction and chaos and donât feed on human flesh for sustenance. Heka is in a sense one of the mortals, even though heâs not a mortal at all. He has the mind set that would actually make you believe that heâs a mortal.
Aside from Heka being very strong, he also has a sort of aura about him that can cause oneâs hair to stand up, or chills to run down the spine of others. He seemingly commands attention when he enters a room, but he would much rather had the attention on someone else. Heka doesnât show any type of emotion when in the face of danger or adversity. Itâs a trademark of many deities. Though he does have fears, he works hard to keep those fears at bay. Heka may seem like your run of the mill nice guy with quirky ways and excellent hair, but unlike other deities, Heka enjoys feeling the emotions of a mortal. To experience them is like a drug to him, and everyone know that a drug addict needs his or her fix every once and a while. Sometimes Heka can say things to others that can be very blunt and straightforward. Itâs not meant to hurt their feelings, but itâs the only way he knows how to speak to others.
Yes, everyone knows Heka is sexy, hell even he knows it, and he absolutely loves to flaunt his sexy whenever he gets a chance. Some think heâs cocky, but heâs really not, he just loves himself and the body he sculpted.
Heka, like any other deity, existed long before mortals. Even though he has existed for an extremely long time, he has always despised the way the immortals handled their business and affairs. He also couldnât believe the way they treated their worshipers. During the time when pagen gods rules, Heka merely read, indulging himself in the finer things rather than bothering with the other deities. He found most of them intolerable and hungry for power, to the point that it annoyed him and he stayed mostly to himself, dealing with other magical beings from time to time instead of his own kind. The stories that mortals tell about gods of old and new are mostly true, at least to his account, but time went on and he continued to live amongst the lower beings.
After the fall of the pagans and the rise of a new god, Heka wondered how long it would be before this new god retired from existence and hushed the very voices around. Heka had chosen solidarity for quite some time, and it wasnât until recently when things started going haywire that he came out of dark and solemn life, and traded it for adventure. Because Heka didn't require worshipers to remain strong, he maintained his level of strength and power, though it did wain a bit due to some loss of followers, still he is stronger than most other pagan gods. With the rise of new creatures known to most as mortals, he decided to enjoy getting up close and personal with them.
Having no quarrel with either Heaven nor Hell, he stayed to himself mostly, enjoying the mortal realm, or Earth as it was now called. His knowledge and wealth simply grew as he established himself and he continues to enjoy the finer things in life; however, he has joined the Hunters. It was a move that he thought about for years since the Hunterâs conception. When he finally joined, it was during the war, and he was tired of the bickering and hatred and chaos and he simply wanted to assist in putting an end to it. His choice was a difficult one, as most pagan gods wouldn't even consider joining such an organization as the Hunters, nor would they look twice at mortals in the way Heka did. His decision came swiftly; however, when he was mistook for a normal mortal by vampires, demons, and other lower creatures, or at least that's how he saw them. His run in with vampires was a blood one. The suckers made life for him irritating, but he disposed of them relatively easily. Demons on the other hand were a new case in and of itself. His first run in with demons came when his boyfriend at the time was slaughtered by a group of them. Needless to say those demons no longer exist now. With so much interaction between him and the creatures of myth and lore, he decided to assist in ridding the world of these creatures, or at least putting things back in balance, thus he entered the war as a Hunter, but no one even knows that he is a pagan god, none know of his true identity and he hopes it stays that way.
Lana Del Rey || Once Upon a Dream
I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream
I know you, that look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem
But if I know you, I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream
But if I know you, I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once
The way you did once upon a dream
I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream
I know you, that gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem
But if I know you, I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream
But if I know you, I know what you do
You love me at once
The way you did once upon a dream.
