Introduction
This secret to the outside world is currently an unformed land, sparsely populated by the unintelligent natives. These 'natives' are ruled by two gods. Endrykas the god of Creation and Neviru the goddess of Destruction. However, these gods, much more intelligent than the people they rule over, have grown bored and have started seeking others - more suited to their interests. They have plucked people from their journey to the afterlife and dropped them into their world. The Gods have chosen these people for their skills, their bravery or for mere entertainment. Forced within Terces, the people will be put into obstacles by the God's hands which will put them in the path of others ambitions. This will be a war, a war of Influence, of Violence, a war for Terces itself.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 10 authors
The God was in the form of a lion at this time, his golden mane flowing madly behind him, cloaking his shoulders in its glorious shade of copper. His bright blue eyes, which usually followed him in his many avatars, were wide open, orbs searching the border for what he always wished to see. The body of his worst enemy, and his lover. His polar opposite and his best friend. For without one, there could not be the other. Large paws made no noise on the tall grass that could not rise high enough to cloak his bulky figure.
The feline form moved fluently through the grass, his tail lashing down low, moving from side to side, a clear sign of anticipation. In his wake the grass seemed to stir to life at his touch, moving by an unseen wind as the fine blades went from wilting to a wondrous green. Creation, this was his, and his only. Alas, I wonder when the new arrivals will make their mark.. His thoughts seemed to form his features, his large skull tilting off to the side as he opened his maw for a yawn, clearly showing very large and deadly teeth.
However majestic such a beast may be, he seemed to be harmless at the moment. Stopping where he was, the mountains rising up beside him and the grassy plains and forests of his own land shown clearly in his aquamarine orbs. Ivory claws dug into the soft ground as he sat down on his haunches, closing his eyes and putting his neck up, the wind rushing through his mane.
The sky, a bright shade of cerulean blue, crackled with what seemed to be arcs of red lightning. A billowing black thundercloud rumbled in the distance like an angry deity. The rumbling roared louder than ever, the birds had stopped singing, and the winds grew heavier and heavier. The Lion would have felt this as his mane whipped in the wind, The opposite, was approaching. As the thunder shrieked on, the grasses bent low from the ever lasting wind, a burst of scarlet flames approached, the rolling tumbling patch of light amidst the darkness of the thunder cloud could have been seen a mile away. Rain began to pour down in great gushes, soaking the land in all it's glory.
The ball of fire shot up into the air, bursting and sending crackling and spitting sparks amongst the beautiful tundra grass. The grass caught the sparks and seemed to sizzle, little bonfires appearing and disappearing as the storm went on. A shadowy being floated gently in the bright blue sky, no figure could be seen as it descended towards the land...It was mesmerizing, and horrifying at the same time. Shaped unlike anything anyone had ever seen. As the shadow soaked nightmare gently touched the roiling tundra, a soft wind blew away everything, whisking it away as quickly as it had come. And in the place of the shadows, was a young woman.
Slight of hand and quick of wit. The broad shook back her long thick locks
"My my Endrykas..Did you really have to pick this spot?" She purred softly, her voice echoing faintly. She tilted her head, her luscious dusky locks shimmying down to the middle of her back, cascading down her shoulder in a silky waterfall.
Disgust for what she was doing, for the havoc she was causing on his land, his territory. Oh yes, the God of Creation, of all things to be, was harshly dominant in nature. Animalistic even, if he wished to be so. With large teeth bared he took a step forward, his tail lashing from side to side as all wind around him ceased to present itself. A sense of serenity seemed to descend upon the land he stood on, the rain no longer falling where he stood, but rather a ray of light breaking through the cloud cover.
Another step.
The clouds pulled back at a quick pace, leaving a blue sky around the God of Creation. The small bonfires that seemed to have sprouted up were quickly put out by the rain before it had ended, the clouds themselves moving back over the mountains, where they belonged.
"It is on my land, is it not? The new arrivals will cherish where they land, for they will be met with Life. Not the death they expected." his maw moved strangely to form the words, tossing his head to the side to fluff his mane before he took yet another few steps forward, coming closer to the young Goddess. The birds began to sing again, the shuffling of hooves being heard near by.
With his head raised to his full height, the majestic lion was easily as tall as Neviru. His maw closed on his last word, only to open a few moments later, the celestial being casting his gaze off to his left. "Can you not come without your parade next time? I think my territory has had enough of your vicious grip." he hissed the words, retaining his peaceful expression soon after.
"Better my love?" She fluttered her eyelashes at Endrykas mockingly. For she had taken the similar shape of all of Endrykas's former lovers. She stopped once, her eyelids lowering of their own accord as her now sparkling green emerald optics peeked out from behind beautiful long silky lashes. She was mocking poor Endrykas, though why she was doing it so harshly even the Goddess of Destruction did not know. She felt a faint annoyance at the male Deity, and, the only reason she called him pet names was to annoy him.
Neviru was what they called the troublemaker of the family. Her nervewrackingly unexpecting ways kept all the gods and goddesses on their toes. She took pride in having the largest land of destruction in Terces, though each of the god's lands were equal. It had been a long time since Neviru had set foot in Endrykas' realm, though really, the ground they stood on belonged to both of them.. She wondered how the Near King of the gods would react, she knew that he resented her, and that only made it more amusing.
Don't push him too far Neviru.. She chided herself, this was the first time in a long time that Endrykas had not been angry with her.
A whirl of white mist enveloped the God, twirling up from his paws in a glorious dance as they consumed his entire body, covering him. The form of a feline disappeared, being replaced by the shadow of a man, white wings flaring out of the mist, the only thing seen as lush feathers spread out. The wings themselves seemed to shiver with power, white in color though the colors of the entire rainbow seemed to lurk within the soft folds of his mighty wings.
Marvelous.
The mist that had enfolded him seemed to melt away, leaving a man with golden locks of hair that was cut short, slicked back as the curls were pinned down by a golden Crown. Such a crown was elegant, hardly able to be seen by the naked eye, as it held down lush curls. His blue eyes gazed at the woman before him, his chest bare and the only thing cloaking his body being white slacks.
He took another step forward, his muscles rippling with the movement and his tribal tattoos seemingly glowing white rather than black, a smirk present on dark lips and high cheek bones as he took in her form through his own, gazing her up and down with tender slowness.
"Much, my darling." his deep voice echoed around his being as he tilted his head slightly off to the side. Animalistic eyes stayed locked on the young Goddess before him, never wavering. His wings on the other hand moved constantly, almost like he was breathing. They soared up above him, curving at the top and then dipping back down only slightly, clearly spread out to nearly their maximum height.
"It's been a long while Endrykas.." She cooed softly, taking a step back from the God as he advanced. Her feet were cased in golden sandals, making no noise in the soft prairie grasses. She pressed her lips together before moving forward, slowly, almost seductively as she sauntered up to the deity. The wry smile shifted into what seemed like a dazzlingly beautiful smirk, those jade green eyes glowing with beauty. Her eyes seemed to be lined with the color's of the sea, brilliant peacock bluese and shimmering purples swirled around those big, doe eyes.
"Ahh, so you like this form?" She hissed lightly, striking a pose, turning around to glance at Endrykas through a shimmering golden curtain of curls. She scrunched her hair in one fist, letting it go as the wind blew past. The faintest scent of Moonshine blew into the air, it's intoxicating scent saturating the air the deities' both breathed. She raised her slim golden brows flirtatiously as she ran a finger slowly down his shoulder, a tingle at the tip of it. She caught her breathe when she turned her head away from the God.
She walked back a ways, turning around so as her back faced the male. Though her heart was beating faster than it ever had before. She closed her emerald green eyes and waited for his response. He would probably be furious. Though when she wanted to be, she could be vicious. What have I done... She thought to herself grimly. She had done it again. She had acted without thinking once more.. He would probably banish her again for aggravating him, or something like that. She felt the cool grass beneath her feet and thought back what had been before, the wonderful times that had been peaceful. But those times were no longer here. She knew this as she shook her head and let a little bitter laugh escape the vicinity of her lips. What would happen to her after he grew angry with her once more? Did the world know? No, no one knew.
His aqua eyes stayed locked on hers. At her sauntering up to him, they began to change colors, taking on a wondrous emerald green. Along swirling blues, they seemingly moved, the colors slowly overlapping one another like ripples in a pond. His eyes blinked several times, a smile forming on lush lips, edges curving up in a smirk. His head moved back to its upright position, no longer tilted as he moved a step forward, muscular arms now hanging at his sides. Oh, that wondrous smell! It devoured every sense of stability he had, making him want to do anything he could for her. Those glorious eyes staring at him from beneath waves of golden curls. At the young Goddess touch the celestial being closed his eyes, opening them once more to see her catching her breath, and soon enough walking away.
"Why must you always tease me like this? You know well enough that what we had is over! After you seduced me to get nothing but a few hundred acres of land!" his voice was a growl as it came from his lips, brows drawn slightly forward, though not enough to cause wrinkles. His wings beat once in her direction, sending up a caterwaul of wind and shaking the trees near by while the grass moved in waves, blasted back from the gust. Endrkyas moved defiantly to the side, orbs now a solid green as he looked over his land, his right side to her as he did so.
The god laughed softly to himself, running his fingers through his hair, taking off the Crown in the process before placing it sturdly atop his head once more after he had finished. Golden locks of hair dazzling in the afternoon light as his body began to dim from his original change. Especially now that he was angered, his chest visibly moving from his breathing while the tribal tattoos along his chest dimmed until they were a solid black. However, not too striking against his tanned skin. White wings had reached there full height when he had moved, now curved against his back, though still very large. Oh, how he wanted to wrap her in his wings and hold her forever! Though, he knew very well that she deserved nothing of the sort. Especially after what she had done. After she had toyed with his heart, and the vindictive Goddess was still up to her games after seeing the wrath of the God of Creation.
Though, as she moved away from him, he could no longer stand it. The God of Creation could be harsh if he must, but as the God of Creation, he hated breaking people down. Seeing her cry was the last thing he had wished for, but to merely put her in her place. Where she belonged. He cringed at seeing that one, single tear fall. Green orbs shifting once again to a wondrous sky blue. "Only because you must? Neviru, you have so much to learn! Gods do what they want to, not what they must." A smile perked up at the edges of his mouth, as he tilted his head off to the side. His blue eyes scanned over her dress with pain-staking slowness.
When his eyes finally found hers again he had taken a step forward, his white wings lowering to shield them both from the wind around them. His hand reached back up once more, grasping her jaw and raising her face to his, a callused thumb wiping away what was left of the tear before his hand fell back to his side, blond brow's rising up in the slightest. "But, if this meeting is to end, then let it do so." His words were blunt, just as hers were as the look of kindness disappeared from his features, the white folds of downy soft feathers that had shielded them raising up before folding along his back. In the process, they rushed against the young Goddesses arms, warmer than one would believe them to be.
She fought the urge to yell at him again. She struggled with her thoughts. What would it be like..To be in his arms again? To feel those warm strong arms around her? To curl up against his chest and trace the pattern of his mark... Neviru shook her head in disgust. She should be angry with him. She should be furious. And yet, she wasn't. Neviru heard the low growl that emited from the God's throat. What was that sound? Hunger? But gods did not crave food nor drink. Neviru felt her heart flutter. Not in panic, but in full blown fear. Would he do what she had not thought he would have done? Neviru shuddered, the shiver running down her spine ever so slowly, prolonging the Goddess's rage, fear, and hope. How Neviru longed to be at peace with herself, and Him.
Neviru sobered instantly when she felt those silken wings brush against her. Her heart leapt out of her chest, but where would it go? It would fall into the deep dark pit of despair. She strained to keep in the cry of outrage, of hurt that seemed to bubble in her stomach. Pressing her lips together, she watched Endrykas's sculpted back quiver as she had turned away from her. She closed her eyes and sighed. Breathing in the breathe of wind that had come her way. Death and life mingled through that breeze, combined, and intoxicating in it's own way.
From the skies it seemed that a golden orb was descending, brighter than most any star, and closer it came until it disappeared within the trees. The glowing ball of shimmering light hardly touched the leaf-shrouded floor before a bright light took hold of the forest, dazzling for one to see as the golden sphere turned into the figure of a glorious man. He seemed to be hard to keep human eyes on, radiating light as if he was manifested from the sun itself. The man moved through the forest with ease before stopping after taking two steps into the wide-open grasslands. His land stretched before him, glorious in all of its features as the God was himself. Endrykas rolled his sturdy neck with a tilt of his head, his shoulders rolling just as easily as large wings marked their claim along his broad back.
Endrykas was clothed in nothing more than a pair of white slacks, which covered strong legs. His wings beat once, sending the grass before him into a wondrous dance, before they folded behind his back, white feathers too long to not run across the ground as they did so. It seemed that the celestial being would be waiting here for some time, having to wait for the arrival of the new beings that would inhabit the lands of Terces. Plucked from their way to the afterlife, and dropped right down into his territory, as he would be the one to first greet them. This would be the only time that they would see the God in all of his True Form's glory, one could only hope they would take advantage of it.
Desalrik roared as the sword pierced his chest before becoming silent as he died. Yet he seemed to wake, as if from a dream, laying facedown in the grass. The dark silver drake raised himself to his knees and put a hand to his chest, not even damage on his green armor. "Wha..what happened?" he whispered, "Dorran, where are you?" he asked. "Here friend," came the reply, Desalrik looked to the source of the voice, feeling his Bonded's arms pull him to his feet. "Where are we?" he asked.
"It must be the after life. I guess the elders were right after all." replied Dorran as he looked about himself, noting a glow over the next rise. "Perhaps we should check over there." he suggested, his partner merely nodded, apperently still shaken from his 'death.'
At the dragons sight, a great herd of nearby Serline was set into a gallop, dashing through the tall grass at a pace that normal deer wouldn't be able to keep up in their wildest dreams. Dashing along the river side, they took one great leap and soared over the river that gurgled near by, settling down once they had neared the forest's edge, bending down long black necks to nip at the grass below them. However, it wasn't only the dragon that startled them, as the God of Creation began to move through the grass to the disgruntled pair.
"Welcome to the world of Terces, young ones." his voice boomed through the lands, a familiar echo to those who had never even known him, like the gentle hand of a father on a son's shoulder. It welcomed all who inhabited his lands, and sent a warm breeze rustling through the grass below. How this celestial being seemed to present himself was with a look of power, dominance clearly flowing through in-human viens as he looked the pair up and down quickly, judging them. Would they make it in this world? Would these two be the ones to lead his lands? A smile came to his mouth at the thought of it, emerald orbs waiting for the reaction of the boy and his dragon.
