Maya sat in her small room as usual. Yet just like for the past few months it appeared to be a lot less monotone then it really was. Whenever Maya got bored or just had a creative thought she wanted to visualize the world around her would suddenly become a lot more colorful. She knew they were illusions but as long as she focused they felt, smelt, sounded and tasted like the real thing. Now she found herself in an exotic garden, a violinist playing music in the corner. She lied on the fake grass, butterflies flying around her and tried to write the next paragraph of her story.

Her powers only manifested around a year ago. At first she thought she was crazy, seeing random unicorns in the school yard or visualizing her friends with cat ears. As time went on she got the hang of it and it slowly developed. She learned to suppress the images when needed and to make them feel more lifelike at other times. At the point she was on she could keep up a whole scenery illusion on three people for a full half hour. It’d made her quite tired but she rarely did it. Most of the time it was things for herself, which would last up to three hours without a break or funny little tricks for her grandparents when they were sad.

Thinking of her grandparents she sighed. She’d miss them once the men came. She hoped they wouldn’t feel to lonely with her gone. Maya would miss a lot of people to be honest. Her friends, her neighbors, her teachers, even that grumpy police man who guided traffic on Wednesdays. Then again it wouldn’t be all that bad. She’d meet people who also had powers like her. This made her happy and she smiled again. A knock on the door shattered the illusion.

“Honey the men from the facility are here for you,” her grandmother spoke softly through the door, obviously suppressing her tears. Maya jumped up and picked up her bags. She quickly opened the door and smiled her grandmother.

“Don’t be sad, I’ll be fine. It’ll be really fun!! Well hopefully…… but anyway I’ll meet new people and I might get help in improving my abilities. Then you can invite all your friends from Bingo for a magic show,” Maya rambled on to cheer the old woman up.

They went downstairs where two men in black suits were waiting with her grandfather. They were expressionless while her grandfather was obviously not pleased. They hugged for a long while and said their goodbyes. Just one last time, for a longer while, Maya showed them both a pretty illusion of a puppy with angel wings which always made them laugh. Then the men led her out and she entered the car. The windows were darkened and the car didn’t feel very welcoming but Maya hopped in without a second thought. She hoped where she got out wouldn’t be so bad.

When she got out it was already evening. She was hungry and tired, mostly the second. It was the longest trip she had ever made. The school looked pretty scary but the outside didn’t matter, only the people on the inside did. Her escorts weren’t very conversational and Maya felt like she was talking to a wall, the lady inside on the other hand didn’t let her speak at all. Then totally worn out, still trying to keep up her smile, Maya was led to a small room through dark corridors led by a glowing orb only visible to her eyes.

Maya woke up to find herself on an unfamiliar bed, looking at a ceiling unknown to her. Yawning, she slowly pulled herself up. Her eyes scanned the room and then everything from the trip here came back. She remembered coming to the harsh looking building and finding her room. She must have been so tired she just dozed off. The second bed was still unoccupied and made her wonder what the people would be like. The room although small wasn’t too bad. Actually, in contrast to everything else in the prison like palce it actually seemed cozy. Then again it didn't matter much since simple illusions could change it dramatically. If the facility helpe her improve like she was told, then maybe she could keep it up for longer amounts of time.

Pulling out her bag and changing her shirt, not in the greatest condition after a long journey and an unplanned nap, she wondered what time it was and how long she was asleep for. When she came the corridors were pretty empty but now she swore she could hear voices outside. She smiled, thankful for the presence of other people breaking the proviously quiet atmsphere.

Not even bothering to fix her messy hair Maya made her way to the door. Her stomach growled remind her of how much time passed since she last ate. She wasn’t sure what time it was but if she was lucky maybe she could get something to eat. She walked out and then it dawned upon her remembering the way would be a bit of a challenge. Surely the building wasn’t that complicated but orientation wasn’t her strongest point.

In the end the girl only missed a turn twice and soon found herself back at the entrance of the school from which finding what she needed wouldn't be hard. Not knowing where exactly one could find food she decided to wander around the building a little more. Then as she spotted people the feeling of hunger completely disappeared and was replaced with excitement. Things were quite lively and it made her really happy. The people all looked really cool, she wanted to talk to them as soon as possible and hopefully get to know them better. After all they were all here for the same reason.

She was in the corridor leading to the Mess hall when Maya Heard the commotion inside. She ran towards the door and slipped in to the side of the people. Rather than get involved, she watched the showdown from the side. She saw a tall, intimidating boy challenging a pretty formally dressed woman. From what she got her name was Agatha and she was in charge of them. The boy was making a big deal about becoming masters and rising up. Maya didn’t really understand why anyone would be against the people who were here to help them. Sure their methods weren’t the greatest and the building wasn’t very friendly but the woman didn’t seem at fault for all this.

Other students also watched and some ignored it, except one girl who confronted the boy. It took a lot of self control from Maya not to shout something like “You go!” as the brave girl stood up to him and pointed out his wrongs. Then again she hoped they’d all stop fighting as soon as possible. Having such a tense atmosphere could cause problems. Maya was sure if everyone just got along the experience of being locked up here would be a lot more enjoyable. For now all she could do was wait to see how things played out.

Her stomach grumbled and the girl decided to forget the drama for a second. She got something resembling food from a lady in a very foul mood. At this point she was too hungry to care about its content and looked for a place to sit. She looked for a place to sit and spotted a cute girl and a kind looking blonde boy. “Hi! I hope I’m not disturbing your conversation, could I sit with you two?,” she smiled at them, “Things sure are lively around here ,right?”

Cindy Mayes
"Meeting people is a great feeling."

She looked down at her 'food', losing her appetite. Is that... fur? She thought to herself. She took a sip from her water, not the most refreshing drink she's ever had, but it did quench her thirst. A girl walked up to them, smiling with sincerity.
"Hi! I hope I'm not disturbing your conversation, could I sit down with you two?"

Cindy smiled at the girl, and replied with warmness. "Oh, you're not disturbing anything! Take a seat. We're all friends here."

"Things sure are lively around here, right?" Cindy laughed, and nodded at her statement. She looked at the crowd surrounding all of them, and looked back at her.

"Tell me about it, it's the first day of being here and people are already causing some trouble. Oh, and also, my name is Cindy Mayes." She stretched out her arms, yawning. Despite this room being quite large, she still had to be outside. Her claustrophobia is going to get her in serious trouble.

"Now, if you want my opinion on the food at lunch, majority of it is inedible, but the salad is somewhat fresh... Oh, and this jelly thing is fun to jiggle around, as shown by my Bed-Bird." She signalled to the bird poking the jelly-mixture with it's beak.

"Don't ask why I named it Bed-Bird, it's a long story. So how about you? What's your name, friend?"

The girl smiled back at her and Maya let out a sigh of relief. She seemed like a lovely person and Maya felt happy that there were welcoming people in the academy. So far she had only met people who were hard to approach but Cindy and her companion seemed pretty nice. She sat down beside the girl.

Her new friend yawned and Maya wondered if the trip here made the girl as tired as she was. She guessed most people didn’t fall asleep the second they came, unlike herself. Maya looked down at her food as Cindy began to describe it. She was right, the food wasn’t the best but it didn’t bother her too much. With a little concentration she made it look, smell and taste like a nice homemade lunch. It was a shortcut she used with any food she disliked. Of course the food was still the unhealthy mush but as long as the illusion stayed up the worst thing that could happen was a sore stomach. Maya raised her fork and took a bite.

“I’m Maya! It’s a pleasure to meet you. The bird is very cute. I’ve only seen one at the zoo before but it looks a lot more majestic up close.” She looked as the so called Bed-Bird and giggled. It wasn’t everyday you got to eat lunch with a bird.

“You look a little tired, was your trip long? I mean this place is literally in the middle of nowhere. But I guess there are positives to this, like um…..you can make glass out of sand right? Can you imagine how much glass art with could make from this desert. Then again I doubt they have kilns here. Have you two explored much? A lot of places seem out of bounds.”

Cindy Mayes
"Optimism is quite refreshing in a place like this."

“I’m Maya! It’s a pleasure to meet you. The bird is very cute. I’ve only seen one at the zoo before but it looks a lot more majestic up close.” Bed-bird perked it's head up and nodded, as if it knew what she was saying. Cindy laughed, as she took a mini tomato from her salad and put it in her mouth.

"Aha, it seems Bed-Bird likes you." She smiled, which turned into a yawn.

“You look a little tired, was your trip long?" Maya asked her politely.

"Yeah.. It took the best out of me. But I'm still going strong! I met Mattress-Bird and Bed-Bird in my room. Long story, I'll explain later. But really... Why did it have to be in the desert of all places?" She said, looking up at the skylight. The girl replied with happiness.

"I mean this place is literally in the middle of nowhere. But I guess there are positives to this, like um…..you can make glass out of sand right? Can you imagine how much glass art with could make from this desert. Then again I doubt they have kilns here. Have you two explored much? A lot of places seem out of bounds.”

"Hah, I noticed that. My theory is that we're all in area 51, and we're here because they needed to know where all these powers are coming from. That's just a theory though. I'll be surprised if it's right. I doubt they'll tell us why we're here though. But the sand art is quite a unique thing to do, I'd do it if I knew how to sculpt glass, let alone make it!" She giggled, as she continued to eat her salad.

"This is kind of a touchy subject, but what's your power?" She asked with intrigue.

The conversation was going well, for a while Maya even forgot why she was in this place. Cindy’s theory was interesting. She herself was aware that helping them master their abilities wasn’t the facility’s only objective and Cindy could have been right. But the girl was right about another thing to, they’d never fully tell them the purpose of their presence here.

"This is kind of a touchy subject, but what's your power?"

“I don’t think it’s touchy. We all have a power here. It’s part of us. For me it’s like asking what your eye colour is. But to answer your question, I simply make illusions.” She closed her eyes and opened them again once a little glowing orb appeared in front of them.

“Whatever I can imagine manifests itself. It’s not real but it seems to be. I guess even if you know it’s an illusion the senses it gives you still hold up. This plain Mess room can easily become a field of flowers. We’re still in the same place but it’s a nice change of atmosphere. Only we can see it though, I haven’t tried it on this many people at a time” Maya explained with excitement, her words appearing to come to life. She wondered what ability the girl beside her had.

“And yours? A nice person like you is sure to have an interesting power!”

Cindy Mayes
"Oh, me?"

Maya looked at Cindy, and replied nicely back. “I don’t think it’s touchy. We all have a power here. It’s part of us. For me it’s like asking what your eye colour is. But to answer your question, I simply make illusions.” She closed her eyes, and appearing infront of Cindy was a glowing orb. Cindy watched in awe as the orb continued to float just above the table.

“Whatever I can imagine manifests itself. It’s not real but it seems to be. I guess even if you know it’s an illusion the senses it gives you still hold up. This plain Mess room can easily become a field of flowers. We’re still in the same place but it’s a nice change of atmosphere. Only we can see it though, I haven’t tried it on this many people at a time...” Maya gave an explanation to her powers like it was her favorite thing in the whole world. She had a wonder in her eye that couldn't be compared.

She then asked Cindy the same question. “And yours? A nice person like you is sure to have an interesting power!”

"Oh, me? My power isn't quite as interesting... but I have the power to bring inanimate objects to life. They have a tendency to shape into animals, mainly because I really like animals, hehe..." Cindy said with modesty.

"I'll show you, because it's not really easy to explain. That, and I don't really know how to explain it."

Cindy focused all of her mind into the tray. She went blank for a moment, until she thought about her cousin's Border Collie, and slowly, the tray shaped itself into a Black and White Border Collie, with a blue collar and one eye. The dog jumped off the table onto the seat, giving wet kisses to Cindy.

"Oh, it's Harley! How are you cutie? I didn't think this would actually work! Ehehe, it's quite unstable. Sometimes when I get mad or scared, the furniture in my house go crazy! I accidentally made Mattress-Bird and Bed-Bird by trying to move one of the beds in my room. It only works for a few hours though. I've been practicing a lot. The first time I did this, it only lasted a few seconds." She explained to Maya, kind of embarrassed that her powers aren't as strong as hers.

"It's time to go, Harley. The guards will get mad." She said, giving Harley one last hug before turning her back into a tray.

“My power isn't quite as interesting... but I have the power to bring inanimate objects to life”

She watched with anticipation as Cindy offered to present her power. Maya’s eyes drifted from the girl to the tray and back again. It was her first time seeing someone other than her use their power and it made her heart pound. It was an amazing feeling watching someone put their mind to do something amazing like this.

The tray slowly into an adorable little doggie. If Maya wasn’t aware of people with powers it’d be hard to believe the border collie was just an everyday tray moments before.

“That’s fantastic! What a unique power to have, you shouldn’t say it’s uninteresting I think it’s great and it connects to something you really like which is animals. Powers can be a bit of a handful before you can learn to control them, I had a few troubles too. I even visited a psychiatrist a few times because they thought I was seeing things. I’m sure soon you’ll have full stability.”

Cindy’s little power performance made her realise yet again how incredible this place really was. If everyone tried they could all understand each other since they all faced the same struggles and achievements. Sure, they all had different personalities and tastes in people but Maya decided breaking those boundaries would not be so hard.

“Thank you for showing me your gift. It makes me curious as to what the others can do, I doubt I’ve even seen the faces of everyone here.”

Utrien fell asleep on the table. When he woke up, a sharply dressed woman was in the middle of a circle with a student challenging her. This is too much to process when you just woke up. So he whistled for his falcon, which landed on his shoulder. Voicing his departure to his current company. "If you would excuse me, it was great meeting you. I'm afraid my daily nap is now and that the current events,"He sweeps his hand to the circle of people. "It would be unlikely."

He strayed off to the dorms to possibly meet people. When he arrived in his room, he found that he wasn't rooming with anyone.

"Ah, yes this would be great. I could take naps here and Ezra would be relatively in a peaceful environment. Shame there aren't any vegetation." He laid down on the bed with a soft content smile.

Cindy Mayes
"Have a lovely day, friend!"

Cindy tried eating the food with the best of her abilities, but she simply could not eat more. Cindy looked at Maya, as she politely put her fork onto the tray.

"Maya, thanks for the nice chat we had! I'm going to have to put my bird back into my room before it turns into furniture again. Let's chat again sometime!" Cindy grinned, as she left the table that she was sitting at, and moved to her dorm briskly, with Mattress-bird flying behind her. Mattress landed on her shoulder, and stayed there the whole way to the dorm.

When Cindy arrived at the dorm, she immediately noticed on the front of the door, there was another name on the door. "Julian Stone." She murmured outloud, immediately noticing it was a guys name. She didn't mind too much, as long as he wasn't a pervert, but she didn't know who he was, so he shrugged it off and went into the room before anyone noticed there was a mattress missing.

"I'll bring you back to life later. Please remember me." She said to the bird perched on her shoulder, as the bird moved onto the bed and turned back into a mattress.

"Now, who is this Julian guy...?" She pondered to herself. Hopefully she'll get to meet him soon.

She cheerfully waved goodbye as Cindy headed towards the door. Maya was still a little hungry and sat at the table alone for a little while. With only a few spoonfuls left the girl began to wonder how the food actually tasted. She shattered the illusion and put the fork in her mouth. She honestly imagined it to be a lot worse but it wasn’t a taste she wanted to try again. Suddenly overcome with boredom Maya decided to head back to her room.

The halls were even more lively than before and it seemed friendships were being formed all around. Upon reaching her room Maya was positively surprised. Not only was her roommate finally here, she was in the presence of three pleasant looking boys. One which Maya could swear she saw sleeping on the table with Cindy. The girl which Maya would have the joy of sharing a room with was incredibly beautiful. She had incredible brown hair Maya could only hope for. The boys also had pretty captivating looks. Everyone at the academy seemed so cute to her.

“Hello!,” she said to everyone in the doorway as she walked through, “Nice to meet you all, especially you,” she motioned at the girl. “I’m Maya, I hope we can be good friends.”

Smiling she made her way to the bed to clean it up a little, she left in such a hurry it wasn’t looking the greatest. The people seemed a little busy planning something she wasn’t sure it’d be ok to disturb them. Then again hearing about seeing another power made her pretty excited.

“You guys wouldn’t mind if I tagged along, it gets pretty quiet here all alone?”

Marshall was beginning to think he was in over his head. It was as though fate had turned the tables on him. For once he was the one being noticed, not that he didn’t do any noticing of his own. He wasn’t exactly sure how to react in a social situation such as this. Sure, he’d observed others at his old school and what they did in social situations, but never had he been the one who had to do any sort of interacting. Something was compelling him to go against every instinct he had ever developed while going to public school for most of his life, and he was going to make the first move. His heart started racing like a humming bird. He looked back to Mike’s face and brushed his bangs out of his face revealing his own emerald green eyes and he once again was caught in his gaze, but he managed to focus enough to speak.

“So, I’m already unpacked and my roommate doesn’t seem to be in a very talkative mood right now, I could help you unpack if you’d like some help.” He almost choked on the words as he was saying them, his throat got so dry. He really was incredibly socially awkward.

As he had been unpacking his things in his dorm, he heard someone enter. Must be his room mate. At first he continued unpacking his things, sorting them out, thought it would be best to wait a bit before making conversation over something quite drastic that had seemed to happen to them all. Until a male voice spoke up first. That surprised him. So his name was Marshall, that suited him. He stood up straight and turned to see the guy, who seemed to be younger than him seeing as how Jurou was taller.Or perhaps he was just naturally short and was the same age as him, didn't matter. When he turned to get a good look at the male, he noticed Marshall seemed quite, hypnotised by something on Jurou? What was it? Why are you staring? These thoughts ran through his mind until the male broke eye contact, said he was going to the pools? And offered him to join. "Nnnno thanks." Definitely not. No way. He didn't want to look too awkward seeing as how deep water was a big fear of his, and that included big swimming pools full of water. Then the guy left. Jurou became deep in thought as he finished unpacking his things, he placed a picture of his mum, dad and himself as a little kid on his bedside table. It was the only family photo he had that included his mum. Now that she was no longer alive he cherished this photo. Wait a second, how did Marshall know his name? It completely slipped his mind then. Oh well, he would ask him later.

Leaving the dorm, he thought about exploring, he wanted to shift, use his ability but it could become a bit of a pain, because once he shifted back to human well, he would be naked. Of course he couldn't have clothes on when shifting, because if he did, then his clothes would just either lay there on the ground, or on the rare occasion shift with him and well, cats looked a bit funny with clothes on. He wasn't sure where he should go, perhaps follow that guy and see if he ends up going to the pool or not. Jurou could still smell him, his scent left a trail for him to follow, at least it was a pleasant smell unlike other teenage guys who smelled of body odour and sweaty gym socks. Those smells were most unpleasant. Waiting wasn't this stalking? Perhaps he should shift... No no no don't do it. You can't just rock up to the guy as a cat and be like 'hey there'. Because he would have to shift back to human eventually.

So Jurou followed the scent, Marshall seemed quite a bit ahead of him, he couldn't see him at all but he could still smell him, it was difficult to keep track of one smell when so many different smells intertwined and overlapped each other, like obstacles trying to stop him from following the same path. It would be awkward if he lost track of the scent, followed the wrong path and called out Marshall to someone who most certainly was not Marshall. Wow he was such a weirdo. He continued following, avoiding being seen by any people, and hopefully being unnoticed until he finally found Marshall. He was about to call out to him until he saw he had company. Well, he seemed to make friends quite quickly. Although he was a fair distance away, he could hear clearly what they were discussing, any normal human would only see their lips moving and hear probably nothing at all, maybe muffled voices, but he could hear them clearly. "my roommate doesn’t seem to be in a very talkative mood right now" well then, he felt a little more awkward now. He hadn't seemed to make the best first impression. "I guess i'll see you there." See them where? Jurou was most curious now, what were they up to? Oh wait, that guy by the sounds of it was leaving. Which way was he going, what if he passed Jurou and caught him looking like a stalker. Well technically he was being a BIT of a stalker. He needed to do something to avoid the situation, and so quickly, like an idiot, he shifted into an average sized black cat. And well, there goes his clothes. Okay so this wasn't the smartest thing to do. Especially now that he had to somehow carry all the clothes. With much difficulty he managed to throw clothes onto his back by grabbing them with his mouth. He did look fairly large for a domestic looking cat of sorts. His clothes felt more heavy in this form. Now he just need to push his shoes along... How embarrassing.

Jurou managed to make his way over to Marshall and quite confidently he pushed against his leg to get his attention. "Uh hey Marshall can you hold my clothes for me?" He felt so stupid at this point. His same copper red eyes looked up at Marshall hoping he would just casually hold his clothes. Of course no one in their right mind would take a talking cat as natural. And all this just to avoid looking like a stalker.

Utrien paused and froze. He couldn't believe it, he turned back astounded. Was that and honest to goodness cat?

His eyes wide and his mouth in an O shape; Utrien shot down the hallway back to where he was. He took a leap, scooped up the cat and slid on his back; the cat now lifted in the air.

"OH MY GOODNESS YOU'RE A CAT. There are animals here," He proceeded to cuddle the cat, not knowing that it can speak or that it was a human. "That makes me so happy, i might actually squeal," He finished with a smile and a delighted laugh.

Anyone who have met Utrien prior to this might have been shocked. The shy, reserved Utrien is currently on the floor cuddling a cat with an elated and beaming expression.

Maya sat on her bed watching the conundrum surrounding the “cat” problem. She didn’t want to laugh at the boys’ situation but she couldn’t help it as a loud giggle escaped her mouth. Everyone around her had a totally different reaction to the cute feline in her doorway. The boy with white hair while hesitant was right which made Utrien’s reaction the most entertaining as Maya imagined the person inside the cat’s body wasn’t the happiest. Marshall, as the cat called him, seemed to handle the situation pretty well as he picked up the clothes from its little mouth.

She hoped as soon as they came back she’d see the cat’s human form. It could mean yet another unusual friend.

Well it was a relief that Marshall so casually took his clothes and shoes for him, what a nice guy. His copper red eyes widened however as he found himself suddenly being lifted into the air as the world around him spun for a moment. Then a loud voice rang through his sensitive feline ears. Oh god. What had he done?! This was the opposite of what he wanted! Stupid stupid stupid, he felt really stupid, he wanted to avoid being seen by the blonde male but instead it did the opposite, like some kind of hunting dog the guy seemed to have locked onto Jurou, lift him up and cuddle him. "Ahhh! Holy shit please let go!" Jurou squirmed in the male's arms, and although it was tempting to shift back into his human form, he didn't think people took public nudity very well, no not very well at all. Whiny meows would be heard escaping from Jurou's lips as he managed to eventually squeeze out of the blonde's arms and follow behind Marshall.

Oh no he was following them. "Go go go!" Jurou called out to Marshall as he easily over took the guy, running right past him and into the dorm, his feline body arched in a defensive position. He watched as Marshall put his clothes down and the door closed behind him. That didn't go as well as he thought it would at all, nope. "Thank yoooou." Jurou cooed as he frantically shifted back into his Human form and grabbed his clothes, casually putting them on. He didn't feel uncomfortable being naked around anyone really, he just respected that no one wanted to see someone walk around nude. But what was really important now was that he was being questioned. Uh oh. "Uh yes well, you see. I have a logical explanation for that. Yep. I do have an answer, one that makes sense." Yep, keep sounding more demented and you won't have any friends. "Well I was just looking for you and to avoid ah, people, I shifted. I find it easier to get around in that form. AndalsobecauseIwasfollowingyouanddidn'twanttobeseen." He said that last part particularly really fast then finished getting dressed. "ANYWAY I see you've made some friends already, some rather, interesting." He said, hinting towards the blonde who had reacted excitedly when seeing a simple cat. Oh right that guy was probably still waiting outside. Jurou left the bathroom and opened their dorm room door. "Helloooo, blondie?" He called out.

Utrien spun around to look at Maya and Michael.

He beamed and smiled a closed eyes smile. "I'm sorry about that, but as you can see i really love animals,"

He pointed with his head towards Marshall and Jurou's dorm room. "Although it seems that i have scared him away. Shame, i liked him," he chuckled "Might be biased though. Can't help that i like nature i guess, basically grew up in the forest." He gazed at the door with a pacified expression, waiting for them to emerge so that he could explain and hopefully salvage the situation.

He laid on the floor and promptly fell asleep. He hoped no one would step on him, but that's something he would have to take as he chose to sleep on the floor.

He recounted what happened today. 'He got to see an animal, made friends and didn't need to eat that slop in the cafeteria. Today was a good day,' he concluded with a smile.

Well now, at least now he knew what Marshall's power was. And what a way to show it off. As the door slammed in his face he jumped back quite swiftly, didn't want to be caught in the force of the door closing in his face. But unfortunately Jurou's temper was his down side, he could be a bit of an asshole and it would be unfortunate for his room mate to first witness this side to him. He seemed to be asked why he was really following him, as if he were being interrogated. Jurou wasn't liking the way he spoke to him. And so with a muffled short chuckle between closed lips, he turned to face Marshall. Through narrow eyes a cold glare was shot Marshall's way and a rather cocky grin formed on his face. "My my now wasn't that a little rude hey, Marshall." He casually yet confidently made his way over to the male, then leaned down so his eyes were levelled with Marshall's looking deep into them, those emerald eyes, how beautiful they were. His face was quite close now to his, too close for comfort perhaps, but personal space wasn't a concern of his. Sure this guy could probably kick Jurou's ass with an ability like that, but he didn't really care. He was reckless as always. He cocked his head to the side studying Marshall's facial features now that he could see his face up close, then the male seemed to calm his voice. What he said made Jurou feel quite sorry for him. "Someone like you?" Jurou repeated the male's statement back to him. What did he mean someone like him? What was wrong with Marshall? Perhaps he was a little insecure, maybe no one cared about him outside of the school. "Look this is different now mate, it's not like how it is out there with all the normal people, we're different, we're like a huge bloody family of freaks." He paused for a moment, standing up right then taking a step back to give the guy some space, he needed to keep his cool and not be an asshole just yet. "However they treated you out there is different to how people will treat you in here, trust me you can be sure about that." With that said he let out an irritated sigh.

"I was following you because I had nothing better to do, I was curious about if you would go to the pools or not, and you didn't which made things more interesting but then the blonde guy might have caught me stalkin- I mean following you, so I shifted into a cat so he wouldn't notice me but that did the opposite and yeah!" Jurou took in a deep breath, then exhaled. That was a lot to let out. He felt quite embarrassed by this point though. That was when he heard a knock at the door then, was that a dog he could smell? Jurou tensed up and turned to face the door, taking a few steps back away from the door. "I can smell a dog." He said with a bit of a quiver in his voice, he gulped nervously, he really didn't like dogs and so he casually stood behind Marshall, acting like he wasn't standing there because he was afraid but because he just wanted to stand there. But it was obvious he was afraid. He then began to wonder what happened to the blonde guy and the others. What did they think of him now? Well technically they didn't know what he truly looked like. So that was a relief. Unless Marshall told them 'hey this is that cat guy' then that would be quite embarrassing for him.
