He walked out to notice how big the house was. Damn that almost scared him how big it was. He had not noticed it when they all got to the house last night. It was to late to celebrate but they had all made sure they got some kind of job before they even came though. Since they split the rent and it had to be paid or they would get evicted. Good thing the economic downfall lightened a couple years back. He found his comb on the table and combed his hair in the nearest bathroom. He put the comb in his pocket and walked out the door to the mail. Wether or not they got the jobs they applied for would be there. He brought them in and looked at his. Haha. He got the job at Krispy Kream Doughnut shop. Yes. He smiled to himself and waited for the others to wake up.

"No, no, no. Move the tables!" Someone yelled, and Alicia turned at the voice. It was Ester, a employee like herself. She had been in the business much longer than Alicia, but she liked to think she was doing pretty well for someone who had just begun.
"God, these newbies are useless." Ester hissed under her breath, tugging at Alicia's arm. "What's wrong with them? They don't even seem to be able to follow simple orders. You were never like this when you started."
Alicia laughed, eyeing the new interns with pity, "You're scaring them. Look at them. One looks like he's gonna wet himself."
"Whatever. I don't know why we're throwing this thing anyways."
"I know," Alicia smirked, "Guys wanna get laid, and girls want to make sure boys still wanna bang 'em."
Ester snorted, loud, catching the attention of some others, "I guess will all the newbies coming in, they'll need someplace to meet people. That's what clubs are for, meeting new people." She wriggled her eyebrows mischievously.
"Yeah sure. People get real friendly."
"You know it...Hey! You. Take a break." Ester shook her head hopelessly as the intern practically ran off. "God help me."
"What do you mean about the newbies?" Alicia asked, "Don't people come to the city all the time?"
"Just lately. They've been a abundance of people coming in. I would know, my dad's into stats. I get it though, people are realizing Bay City is where it's at." Ester shrugged, picking at her nails.
"Goddammit! I said green covers!" Ester suddenly barked, marching over to a annoyed, but alarmed looking girl.
Alicia pondered what Ester had said. Sure the City was great but not that great. She could see the definite appeal - there were so many opportunities in big Cities...but surely there had to be more than this. Then again, Alicia had grown up in the city all her life, how was she to know? She didn't know what went out of the City. Bay City had been all she'd ever known. Alicia bit her lip and found herself wondering if she'd ever get out.

Adara put the bookmark in its place and got up. She dressed herself in khakis with a green shirt. The bookstore wasn't too picky about what she wore, and most of her wardrobe seemed appropriate. Nice casual-wear. Yeah, that sounded like her.
She opened the door to her room, deciding to let her cats run about for a little. Walking to the kitchen, she pulled her hair up into a loose ponytail. She saw Cole looking through the mail.
"Anything good?" She asked from a little distance. She opened a cabinet and fetched a glass for some apple juice.

Grabbing her messanger back, she flung it over her shoulder before yelling out to her room mate, and boss. "Ann! I'll be back later. Most likely just in time for work!" She heard a muffled "Yeah whatever!" as she slammed the door behind her. Slipping in one of her earbuds, 'Perfect Circle by The Outsiders' began blsting into her ear, bringing a smile to her lips. Today should be a good day.

He grabbed a toothbrush from his suitcase and headed for the bathroom. Shower. Shave. Brush teeth. Ruffle hair so it wouldn't dry weird. Apply deodorant. Kirk went about his usual morning routine, just in a new house. Which, from what he had remembered of it last night, it was pretty darn nice! Wrapped in a towel, Kirk went to the kitchen, startled that females were up already. Meh. he justified it in his head. We were living together now, men in towels shouldn't bother them.
He filled a cup with Orange juice. He walked over to the pile of mail and grabbed the one addressed to him. He handed it to Cole "Man, you check to see if I got it. I can't handle reading that crap." He said in search of an apple. When the mystery of the hidden apple was complete, he sat at the table taking a large bite of it.
After he finished chewwing, he smiled a "Good Morning Sunshine " to Adara.

"That's cool," she said instead. "Which one is it, by the cafe?" Finished with her juice, she put the cup in the dishwasher. Adara opened the fridge again for some yogurt. She sprinkled some granola over it and dug in. Cole looked to be eating for an elephant. Adara smiled to herself. That wasn't too unusual for him, she supposed.
Adara leaned against the counter while she ate, watching as Kirk entered with nothing but... a towel. She almost choked on her yogurt, but managed to swallow. She covered her mouth with a hand and coughed lightly, to clear her throat.
"Morning, Kirk," she said, pulling her hand from her mouth, "Should we get used to this? The show, I mean." Adara smiled, gesturing to him just standing in the kitchen with a towel. She knew living together would be different, but she hadn't thought of everything, it seemed.

Getting out of the shower, leaving the radio and putting a towel around her as she walked back into her room. "Ahhh, that was refreshing." saying to herself. She then got out a black blouse and black jeans along with black flip-flops and started to put these items on. -Oh along with a bra and panties, which were black.- Grabbing her 4D phone and inserting her Bluetooth into her ear, she walked out of her room and down stairs. "Good morning everyone!" telling everyone in the kitchen. She then grabbed a cup and poured Apple Juice into it. Then sitting at the counter next to Alex and looking through the mail for any applications she put in. She then made piles, Trash, Cole, Me, Alex. "Here Alex you missed one when looking through the mail." handing it to him. Then answering his question "I'm up for anything, really!" Opening up the letter she read the first few lines and throw it away, knowing it was trash.

"I'm so sorry I'm running a little late today!" She grabbed her apron and threw it around herself. It was mainly working people, so it would only last for so long. Sighing she started to take people's orders and making coffee. Every now and then she would drink a cup herself to prevent herself from going to sleep. She worked extremely late last night, which was why she slept so late this morning. If her boss wasn't so lenient she would surely be fired by now. It was almost a miracle she hadn't been. After work today some of her friends were going to the club and she knew that she just had to go. She hasn't been in a while so it would be good for her to have some fun for once.

They nodded once in unison, and Alicia had a sudden urge to laugh out loud. "Just make sure there's no trouble. Last thing we need is the police."
"Do you remember last week. Chaos." Ester moaned, covering her eyes as she dismissed the men.
"Don't remind me." Alicia yawned again then ran a hand through her jet-black tresses. "Man, I'm going to drop dead soon."
"Well it's almost lunchtime. Take an early lunch break." Ester smirked, "I got you covered."
Alicia smiled gratefully, "You're a lifesaver. I'm probably just going to go grab some coffee. You want anything?"
"Oh that would be great. An Americano, two shots. And...is it weird that I'm in the mood for donuts? Do you mind?"
"No problem." Alicia laughed. She knew a good donut shop a few blocks away.
Alicia grabbed her helmet and motor-powered board and set off towards the cafe. When she got there, her entrance was made known by the jingling of the door. The smell of coffee woke her up instantly. There was a line-up and Alicia yawned again as she patiently waited. When it finally was her turn, she was greeted by a tired, but friendly looking girl around her age. She read the girl's name on a pin. Ari Harper, it read.
"Hi, can I get one Americano with two shots, and a plain Macchiato?"

"I'm off today, actually," she said in response to his question. "Do you have any ideas? They're always better than mine." And it was true. Adara could take a walk or read... or play with her cats. But none of that was anything special, and they were in Bay City now, after all. Time for some change.
"Morning," she said to Kilala as she came into the kitchen. She was about to say something else, when Becki came bursting into the room. Adara leaned against the counter, preparing for the long ear-lashing to come. And it did. Adara just waited for it to end. Becki eventually left for a shower, but came back in record speed. Did she ever get tired? Cole had left, which didn't surprise Adara. He didn't really connect with Becki.
Adara bent over and picked up one her her cats, Rena, as she walked by. The little cat cried a small protest, but quieted down. She kissed the little cat on the head and put her back down.
"So," she began, "What to do today?" She looked around to her friends.

"Put on some close man I don't wanna see you half naked." Cole had said with 'the look'. Kirk laughed in reply "No, not half. You want to see me fully naked." He finished his glass of orange juice fast, and welcomed everyone with a 'good morning' when they entered.
Kirk hurried to his room, and threw on pale blue jeans, an Oasis T-shirt, and his man sandals. Cole had already left when he got back to the kitchen. He looked around the room and asked "Anyone want to go for a walk with me?" He didn't have to work today, tomorrow was initiation. He also had up his sleeve that he wanted to find a place to party tonight. . .And figure out exactly where his job was. He had never actually been to the city before, so everything was new and exciting.

It was probably just another guy who had nothing else to stare at. But she has never seen him around town before. Or at least in the shop. Almost everyone that comes there has already been there before, and after working the hours she does, you get to know a lot of faces. Walking around the counter she walked up to him. "You must be new cause I haven't seen you here before. If you are I hope you get to see everything that this lovely city has to offer a person." She smiled at the male. He seemed to be new to her, so it was best to be as nice as possible to him. She doesn't want to be just the crabby waitress at a coffee shop. "Oh the name is Ari, just in case you didn't see my name tag."

Sipping the hot beverage, Alicia immediately sighed with content, sitting down at the nearest table she could find.
This is exactly what I needed, she thought as she took another sip.
Sitting down, she watched the waitress walk over to a grungy-looking boy who had just entered. She was taken aback when she noticed he was looking over at her direction.
Definite newbie, Alicia mused, as the boy switched his attention back to the kind waitress. Alicia wondered if it would be weird to invite both of them to the party tonight. Subconsciously, she fiddled with the flyers in the back pocket of her jeans. It was for people her age, and the more the merrier, right? Plus, if he was new like she suspected, it would be a good place for him to meet new people. Maybe he had friends he could invite.
Taking another gulp from her coffee, she shifted in her seat so she could face the boy and the waitress, waiting for the right moment to speak up.

"Sorry for staring, I just couldn't help but overhear," Alicia grinned, reaching in her pocket, "There's this party being thrown at the Bay's Lounge - that's a nightclub for those who're new here." She stuck her tongue out playfully at Cole as she unfolded the flyer, pointing at the address.
"Lots of people usually come." She explained, glancing at Ari, "You've probably heard of it...or been there. Anyways, it's lots of fun, music's good. So, invite people if you want."

"Me and my friends were going there anyways tonight, so that would be perfect!" She smiled at the two. Her eyes fell on the girl and she thought for a moment. She couldn't remember her name. "What is your name again?" She pointed to the girl before resting her pointer finger under her chin. She looked at the pair and smiled at them both. "Well I have to get back to work but I'll see you all later." She waved bye to the other two before going to clean some random table.

"What is your name again?"
Alicia smiled, boy did she ever get that a lot.
"You just have one of those faces," Ester had once told her, "Those faces where once you see them, it's easy to recognize again."
"It's Alicia," Alicia called after Ari, who turned and smiled, gesturing she got it, before clearing a table.
She glanced at her watch, it almost time to get back to work. She hoped Ester's coffee hadn't cooled to much. "I gotta get running too." Alicia sighed, turning to face Cole and bumping him playfully on the shoulder. "My employee wanted me to fetch some donuts for her. Anyway, it was nice to meet you."
She stood up, grabbing her things and made sure to leave the flyer on the table, "I guess I'll see you and your friends tonight." She smirked, and turned to leave the cafe.
