Personality:
{Arrogant, Ruthless, Fearless, Honorable}
Jaime Lannister is a man whose character faults are well known and few see him in a good light. Rich, entitled and cocky are all things people use to describe him yet few are bold enough to do so in his face. Jaime carries himself with a careless abandon as if he care so little what everyone around him thinks. Consumed with low boiling anger and a bitterness that threatens to engulf him as fire engulfs a funeral pyre. Every time he looks at his throne or crown that calm, casual confidence fades somewhat and is replaced by resentment and anger yet few can read those emotions like his brother. Only his brother knows a bit of the pains he endures for in him he confides his frustrations. He is among the only that know that his coldness is a winter brought on by loss of self, his anger sparked by frustration and hypocrisy. To the outside world 'The Lion of Casterly Rock' is a dangerous, bitter man whose quick acidic wit is only rivaled by his skill with a blade. In secret he is honorable man who is only known for an dishonorable deed. Beyond his pains and darkness there is a surprisingly noble side to Jaime that people don't expect and one he doesn't go out of his way to showcase.

Biography
Place Of Origin: Casterly Rock, Falor
History:
To the people of the Seven Kingdoms Jaime Lannister is an arrogant, entitled man who is known for two things. Being the eldest son of one of if not the richest family in the world and being one of the greatest swordsmen alive. These two qualities have created a man who is arrogant, surely but not wrongly so. Any problem he faced his fathers money could get him out of, those that it couldn't he had his sword and in truth Jaime always preferred those that gave him a reason to draw his steel. With a sword in his hand he is a master painter, a painter who only uses red. He loves swordplay, its the one thing he has that wasn't given to him. He is an unfathomably deadly swordsman because he worked at it. Every day as a boy growing up in Casterly Rock from sun up to sun down he trained with the longsword. So good in fact that he earned his knighthood at 15 years of age during his first battle with the Kingswood Outlaws.

As a knight of the realm he earned more honor for his house and name, winning tourney after tourney, snatching glory abound in every battle he fought in for the crown. Songs were sung of the infamous Jaime Lannitser, who fought with the strength and ferocity of the very lion his family flew on their banners. Soon people took to calling him The Lion of Casterly Rock. Now, his family needed little to elevate their status being among the richest houses in all the kingdoms and controlling the famous Lannis Port from their seat of Casterly Rock as well as the gold rich westerlands but Jaime exploits were welcomed as it was expected of him to do great things and he did great things on and off the battle field. So great were his deeds that Jaime was named to the Kingsguard at seventeen years of age, the youngest to ever earn the honor.

Not long into his service of the king Jaime learned the truth of the Kingsguard, honor to duty before all else. Jaime was forced to stand idle as the king raped his wife night after night, and burned men alive day after day. Eventually rumors began spreading that Tywin Lannister, Jaimes father and the Hand of The King was the one really running the kingdom, not Aerys. Aerys became infuriated and began to make Tywins duties and life miserable to the point that Tywin grew tired of his reproach and resigned his position. Once Tywin had returned to Casterly Rock Aerys only slipped further into madness and feared the powerful Lord of Casterly Rock would turn on him. The Mad King struck first launching a siege on Lannis Port. The infamous Lannister Navy beat back the assault and the war was on. It raged for two years all the while Jaime continued to guard his king. Lord Tywin eventually reached out foreign support and the Starks of The North sided with the Lannisters and other lords against the Mad King.

The Siege of Kingslanding is a day Jaime will never forget. Tywin approached the gate and asked for a parlay. When Prince Rhaegar, the kings eldest son, reached the gates Tywin slew him in cold blood and stormed the city. Once the victory seemed assured the Mad King called to his Pyromancer. Jaime listened in horror as the king told his pyromancer to ignite the caches of wild fire stored all around the city. He wanted to set the city to the flame, killing everyone within the walls and rise from the ashes, born again as a dragon. Then he told Jaime to bring him his fathers head. Jaime killed the pyromancer instead and when the king tried to run he shoved his sword in his back. When Tywin entered the throne room he found his son on the throne and the king dead on the steps. He smiled and his ally Lord Eddard Stark was outraged, demanding justice. Tywin laughed in Lord Eddards face and the Northmen retreated home, vowing to never again ally themselves with King Landing. Jaimie became king but his name was stained with the blood of a king. They call him Your Grace to his face, but King Slayer behind his back.
Happiest Memory: The day he was given his white cloak of the Kingsguard
Saddest Memory: The day became king

The sun hung high in King's Landing, with not a cloud in the sky the heat threatened to stifle were it not for the sea breeze rolling in off Black Water Bay. The sea air seemed to carry out the hot air and replace it with cool, clean sea air complete with the salty brine scent of the ocean. The King of all seven Kingdoms sat not on a throne but on a ornate wooden chair in his office, lions heads carved into the arm rests and the back. Crimson red curtains, nearly sheer in their make fluttered in the breeze that came in through the full length windows that led out onto the balcony. Jaime was careful to keep his papers and scrolls weighted down. With no proper paper weights in sights he made do with what was at hand, a pair of daggers, a golden gilded lion helm and a hand axe. His desk looked more akin to a field commanders command station than a kings correspondence desk.

Jaime picked up the most recent letter from The North, he recognized the red seal and the lion imprint.

"Tyrion..."

He muttered to himself as he tore open the wax seal and scanned the page. As he read the door opened and in walked his sister. Cersei was wearing a long, flowing gown. Like the curtains it was made of thin material but considerably more concealing. Hand stitched silks silks from Anansai dyed crimson and gold with prancing lion embroidery made her look more a queen than the kings sister. She took a seat across from Jaime without asking and poured herself a glass of golden Arbor wine.

"Whose that from?"

She asked seemed to hardly care even as she asked.

"Tyrion."

Jaime replied, reading it a second time for hidden messages, his little brother had a habit of encrypting his messages when he was worried someone would read them. That someone usually was their father but since he was in foreign territory Jaime couldn't be sure he wasn't being held against his will. He heard his sister groan at the mention of their younger brother, he looked up as she rolled her eyes.

"What does that little monster want?"

Jaime arched his eyebrow as he stared at her.

"That little monster has been missing in a foreign country that's currently locked in a war. He could have been dead for all you know."

Cersei only sneered.

"The gods could only be so kind."

Jaime could only stare, he wished it could in disbelief but knowing his sister he honestly wasn't surprised.

"Do you truly hate him so much, that you want him dead? You're own brother?"

Jaime asked. Cersei only shook her head with a sardonic chuckle as she got to her feet.

"Oh please, Jaime don't. I'm tired of this lecture. You've always pitied him. Our poor, baby brother. You've always protected him, what about me?"

"What about you?"

Jaime asked getting to his feet.

"You don't need my protection, he does. Last I checked you're not the one that needs help going up stairs."

The moment of honesty in his sister vanished as she raised her cup to him.

"You obviously haven't seen me after a long night."

She said before sipping her wine. Jaime shook his head in disgust.

"My family... this is what I fight for?"

He spat scornfully. Again Cersei laughed at him.

"You fight for a crown, a golden one, which you won. Remember? Rejoice brother, we rule the world. Or near enough of it."

"I never wanted to rule the world."

Jaime said darkly. Cersei only eyed her brother like a hungry lioness spotting a wounded foe.

"Then maybe we should trade places. Give me the armor and you can have the dress."

She said sharply. Jaime looked up at her, a danger in his eyes akin to lion he flew on his banner.

"Careful now... you do that and you'd find all the more difficulty spreading your legs to get what you want."

The slap came as an impulse, Jaime almost knew she'd react that way. His sister could be deadly cunning when she was sober, Cersei was anything but sober at the moment. But even as he laughed off the blow the fear in her eyes proved she knew the mistake he'd made.

"You just struck your king..."

Jaime said darkly. Cersei swallowed hard but tried to put up a bold front.

"I struck my idiot brother."

Jaime only smiled and nodded.

"You seem tired sister, I think the city air disagrees with you. You must miss Castery Rock terribly. You and father both."

Cersei stared at him, not believing he was saying what he was saying.

"When Tyrion get's home I'm going to name him Hand of the King. Then you and father will go back to Casterly Rock."

Jaime took a step closer looming over her, Cersei never felt so small as she did in that moment under the shadow of her brother.

"The next time you raise a hand to me will be the last time you have hands. The next time you speak ill of my brother will be the last time you have a tongue. Understand?"

Cersei dared not speak again.

"Get out."

Jaime said coldly and Cersei vanished as quickly as she could. The king sighed and went back to his seat, hoping his brother would return soon.
