::Personality::
"So you wanna know a little about me and my quirks huh?"
Anyone that knows Skye would know that it would be hard to describe her because she is very random and a bit quirky. She always tries to keep an upbeat attitude, she doesn't want to waste her time on being depressed about things she has no control on, such as mot knowing who the hell her father is. She doesn't like to be the center of attention and if she is hanging out with a group of people she likes to envolve everyone. She is naturaly flirtatios with other females and might not even know that she is flirting.

Skye doesn't wear her emotions on her sleeve, she doesn't let people in so easily and when she is upset she often removes herself from being around others and deals with it on her own. She doesn't like to bring down others if she is upset and she has issues with trusting. Some people may be able to see that Skye isn't always that upbeat, quirky girl that everyone gets to love but she has yet to meet anyone who she lets see that whole side of her.

A few things you should know about Skye is that she usually is late and usually she doesn't mean to, she has tried hard to work on this issue but something always happens that causes her to be at least a few minutes late. Shes also known to be quite stubborn and its quite funny to see Skye in one of her stubborn moods because she gets this look on her face that once you see that look you know there is no way she is budging.

She would like to know who her father is, she has tried to get the name from her mother but her mother has told her no over and over. There is no name under Father on her birth certificate, she knows he knows who she is but she wishes to knownwho he is or at least his name. She has been searching for a couple years now, even gave a letter to her mother ti give to him but she isnt sure if he ever got it. She doesn't like to talk about her father situation with anyone really, its something she keeps locked inside her but sometimes she worries that she is going to explode from the unknown.

"Into the Past"

Image
::History::
"Not everything is simple, I know my past is far from simple"
Skye Keaton was born on a cold winter day on January 17th to Shannon Keaton. Her father was not present at her birth and he did not plan to be present during Skye's life. When she was old enough to understand her mother said she had a few dates with her father but that was all and when her mother found out she was pregnant her father didn't want Skye to know who he was. The reason why was because he was Antonio Orccheto and he was married and had a family. The only way he was envolved was he had a bank account made for her mother and her and put money in it every month to help out.

Her mother raised her the best she could, Skye was independent by the time she could walk. She got into everything and by the time she was two her mother wanted to pull out her hair. Skye's independence never went away, it actually got worse as she got older. When she entered school she was always one to question her teachers and also had a knack of talking back but she was also one or the top students of her class. She would get sent home with detentions but she always got on the honor roll. She actually skipped third grade and was able to move to fourth grade.

She was able to make friends easily but she preferred to hangout with the outcast group, she liked to be different and not follow the norms of society. By the time she was twelve she already knew she was disinterested in guys and had her eyes on the girls, it felt right to her and she told her mom who was always accepting of her. At thirteen she had her first kiss with a freshman girl, it was just a kiss but it was everything to her. When she was fifteen she already had her face covered in piercings and was smoking pot with her group of outcast friends. Her mother let her explore and find herself, though some things she wished Skye wouldnt engage in but she knew if she tried to stop Skye she would just do it behind her back.

Skye graduated a year early and wasn't ready to go into the college life yet because she was unsure of what she wanted to do with her life. She was still in search of her father but she wasn't sure if she would ever find out who the misterious guy who she shares her genes with. She decideded she would find a job and see how it goes. She applied many places but what shocked her the most was she got a job at the Bistro, she actually only applied at that place because her friend dared her to. She never thought she would be accepted as a waitress with no prior training, but life has always liked to throw suprises at her. She just hopes they won't mind how different and quirky she can be.

When the little mightiness that was Aurora approached Cole, he grinned down at her. Something about those gray eyes made him feel so much more alive than he ever had before. After he gave her a sloppy, playful kiss, he muttered into her hair, "You're still struggling to keep up with me, in a drinking race, at least." The rain roared outside, causing him to embrace her a little tighter before he released her.

Off to the side, Maya was interrogating Lance who couldn't be bothered by any of it. Or, that's how it looked at least. Cole nodded Suri off as she made her exit, promising to shoot him a text in the morning. When he turned his attention back to Martin, he could tell the guy really didn't want to come back to Cole's house. He was sure everyone wanted to just sleep and forget the night's events, but it wasn't always so simple. If his itinerary were typically that clean cut, he'd probably be in a different line of work.

Skye's little tangency clung to Cole's thoughts. It was probably because she spoke so eerily like an eighteen year old Maria, that it threw him off. The two were akin in odd ways; he was positive other people had noticed. A lingering question mark was probably dangling over everyones' heads as they tried to place their finger on it.

"We can have some more drinks…" He looked to his little sister, who was trying to bring Daniel back from Neptune, it seemed. "Mae can whip us up some sweet Italian bread," he winked at her, "And we can buff out some details." The invitation was open to Daniel if need be, and Maya… And even the FBI agent. Cole would try to play it safe and keep everyone under a safe watch, even if it meant taking on the babysitter role again.

He turned away from everyone to retrieve a large coat, equipped to keep him from getting soaked in the rain. With his Occheto grin, he announced, "Shall we?"

Skye Keaton

As Skye walked outside she felt the rain pour down her and she was instantly soaked. There was no way she could ride her bike home in this weather. She stepped back inside and took out her cell phone and dialed her home number but no one answered, she guessed her mother was sleeping. She took a few moments to figure out what to do.

She went back inside where the others were, looking at Cole and Aurora then to Maria then back down at her feet "Uh I can't ride my bike in this weather and my mom is not answering her phone, is there a way I could get a ride home. I live about ten minutes away" she bit her lip and just wished the weather could be in her favor for once.

She was dripping wet and shivering a bit from just being out in the rain for a few minutes. Sometimes she really hated living in this city.

Maria Occheto

Though Daniel himself seemed a bit oblivious to the fact that he was cognitively miles away from his body, Maria was not. A heedful, tiny hand rubbed his back as she cooed, "I don't think you can drive like this." The Italian woman giggled softly, amused by how easily taken Daniel was by the pain killers. He was really so pathetic and precious that it hurt Maria's brain to look at him too much. It was nice though, to be able to witness such purity and frailty given her surroundings.

And then there was Skye. She was up until two nights ago, unscathed and a fairly normal young girl. She lived with her mother, tried to keep things modest and plain old ordinary. Looking at her, was like looking at a reflection of Maria's former self. Had she known the truth, though, it might come down to a fatal and dangerous result. Maria was surprised when the girl retreated from the rain, looking ashamed to have to more or less ask for a ride home. Maria knew how she felt, she was trapped. She was angry and wanted to make a point, but there was no way in hell she could make it home in the storm alone.

Putting a finger under Daniel's chin, she looked him over and said slowly, "You're not even here right now." With a grin, she shot a friendly look at Skye and asked, "You haven't considered a car after living in Chicago?" Then she stood, her hands gently placed on Daniel's shoulders as she went on, "Don't worry about it, I'll drive you home." It really was a wonder that so many people preferred bikes to cars, living somewhere that was typically rainy or windy, or both.

Stealing glances at Aurora and Cole, Maria riposted, "You hush! You two make me sick!" Her tone was humorous and coy. Aurora's cheeks had become a bit rosy, possibly from the alcohol, possibly from the way Cole talked to her. Maria had to admit to herself, though, it did make her gut wrench in agony.

Jackson Hughes

Jackson kept a bottle of whiskey at the bar while he sat, repeatedly pouring himself drinks and rolling his eyes at almost every word spoken. He could have easily played the nice guy and kept his calm demeanor, just as he had premeditated before arriving, but Maria's voice and body language was blowing his plans to shit. Why did her lips have to move that way? Why did she have to be so goddamn caring and sweet? Why couldn't she be sitting in his lap, looking him over? Oh, right, he wasn't some dumbass kid.

It was hard for Jackson to keep himself calm, knowing that just a few hours ago he had the young Italian femme to himself at the coffee shop. There, she was undamaged and natural with her wavy hair and girlish, nervous disposition. He could have said more, done more. He should have just told her he missed her. No, no. It wouldn't have made a difference.

He let out an exaggerated sigh as he got to his feet and finished off the bottle of whiskey, causing the rest of the occupants to look at him questionably. "Are we done with the BSing yet?"

Maria stared daggers at Jackson, her irritation flaring. She should have expected nothing less from Mr. Hughes, he had a habit of acting like he ran the show. Fixating on the young translator again, she leaned over his shoulder from where he sat, looking at him quizzically, her large green eyes completely amused.

"You are killing me," she mused at his dazed comment about her eyes, cradling his head for a moment and stroking his hair like he were some sort of lap cat, "We need to get you home." It was so pitiful and adorable. She chuckled softly and patted his head then released him as her eyes traveled back to Jackson who appeared quite uncomfortable and irate. He was always jealous over the most ridiculous things. Sighing, Maria realized she hadn't a coat to put on. Even worse, she had nothing to bundle up the shirtless translator in. Maria's brother was already sliding his jacket on, preparing to head home.

A few times, the lights flickered a bit. The rolling of the thunder reverberated all throughout the establishment, almost giving the illusion of an earthquake. Beneath Maria's quaint feet, she could sense the next hit of thunder along with the harshness of the rain. It was all so loud and prominent.

When she stood upright again, she looked over at Skye, "I'll drive you and Daniel here home," she rubbed one of his bony shoulders softly then paused, "Daniel might need someone to walk him to his apartment so he doesn't pass out somewhere in a corner." Laughing softly, she yanked the hair tie from her mane to let it fall nearly to her waist. The young man was absentmindedly nodding his head and smiling a glazed simper. Maria had to withhold a fair amount of laughter as she looked at him.

Glancing towards Aurora, Maria tilted her head, "I guess you can ride along with Jacks..." her voice trailed off, "Jackson. Or Cole. Unless you'd like to ride along for my little taxicab excursion tonight." Grinning, she ran a hand through her dark wavy hair.

His adrenaline long went away and Frank began to feel the pain again, it wasn't just the pain of glass in his skin or the bruised face from the night before. He had been sitting in the dark at his dining room table for hours as his thoughts slowly suffocated him. Frank is a coward. He literally jumped out of a window and ran away from the mafia family he has been chasing after for the past year. His cowardice is why his partner, Sam died; it's why he was willing to run away instead of save Skye from the murdering. Shit; Skye. Frank dug in his pockets for his phone. Damnit! He couldn't find it. He must have dropped his phone when he was running away. A wave of anger overwhelmed the young detective as he slapped his fist on the table. Without his phone he can't reach Skye or Jerry.

Frank rested his forehead in his hands as he began to feel a headache start just behind his eyes. He quickly sat up once he realized he didn't take his medication yet. No wonder he's been feeling depressed; it's not because his a coward, he just needs to pop some pills. The wounded man suddenly got up and walked to his kitchen, opening one of the cabinet doors and pulling out a pillbox. Frank sighed in relief as he open it and saw three pills waiting for him; Abilify, Ambien, and good ol' Vicodin. Three pills prescribed by three different doctors. He was going to need his little friends if he wanted to survive his suspension.

The detective hesitated a moment before taking the pills one at a time, chasing them down with a warm glass of water. Tomorrow, he needed to get a new phone and somehow get a hold of Skye, he knew he couldn't go back to the restaurant. Frank thought a moment about the faces he saw there today; Mr. Occheto, his son and daughter, and Skye. There was a woman who is a suspected drug dealer for the family, and Frank thought he saw one Mr. Occheto translators; the rest of the faces were a mystery, a dead end. A loud clap of thunder startled the drugged detective. It's ranning? When did it start raining? He wondered as he slowly made his way through the dark apartment towards his bedroom.

Skye Keaton

Skye looked up as Maria gave her a friendly looked and asked if she considered getting a car, she gave a small smile and shuffled her feet "my mother has asked me the same thing...I might have to consider it now". She really didn't like the idea of leaving her bike here and outside in this weather but she really didn't have a choice. Looking at Maria made her get that familiar feeling again, it was an odd feeling that she just could not shake, the same feeling she got from Cole earlier.

She waited there as Maria spoke with Daniel, then when Maria said she drive Daniel and her home she smiled "uh thanks I really appreciate it". Hearing the weather outside made her want to get home as quick as she could, she really wasn't a fan of storms. She covered her mouth as she let out a small yawn and looked over to Maria as she seemed to get ready to leave.

She became her shy withdrawn self once again, it was rare that she broke through her shell and earlier when she blew up at Cole was just a peek of who she really was inside. She just didn't trust any of these people one bit and was actually a bit scared of them after what she saw tonight. She wished she could just forget it all.

Suri Desmond

Suri smiled at Lexi and went into the kitchen "your welcome hun, im going to make you a sandwhich since im exhausted and need a shower, hope you like pb and j. Tonight we will just relax and take it easy, tomorrow morning we will talk more and figure out what I can do for you". She got out the bread, peanut butter and jelly then made a sandwhich and put it on a plate then gave it to Lexi "eat up if you want anything else go ahead, you can watch tv in the living room. Ill be upstairs taking a shower".

Suri then went upstairs and to the bathroom where she took off her clothes then her badange and then got into the shower, letting the soap and water wash of the crusted vlooed. She looked at her arm and whinced. It definately could use stitches but she couldnt go to the hospital because they would ask too many questions. Tomorrow she will have to have Maria take a look at it again.

Daniel Takahashi

Blinking slowly, Daniel realized that his vison was going a little hay-wire and that he was having trouble focusing on the man standing at the end of the bar. The still rational part of his mind supplied him with enough insight that he slowly came to realize it was most likely because of the drowsiness caused by the pills. So when the woman patting his head stood and informed him that they needed to leave, he nodded slowly in agreement- glad she'd offered to drive so he didn't have to try and find his car keys in this state. Just as he was about to stand and follow her he cursed to himself and spoke aloud, "Damn, I don't think I got any work done today..."

A sudden fear of not completing his work before it was due gripped him and he struggled slowly to his feet to stand by Maria; but by the time he was fully upright a wave of sleepiness overtook him again and he found himself having to shake his head from just falling asleep where he stood. Slowly his pale, grey eyes shifted to the stairs that led to his work area and the papers he'd left completely unfinished in Martin's office. What would happen to him if they weren't done when they needed to be? The thought made him cringe inwardly. But slowly through his hazy brain he understood that no matter what there wasn't anything he could do about it tonight. He would have to risk it.

With his hand placed against the bandages on his side he turned back to Maria who was then speaking to someone about getting a ride, but he couldn't quite bring himself to make sense of the exchange. That was when he noticed the black haired girl sitting a few feet away and became once again self-conscious of his shirtless state. Awkwardly he wrapped an arm across the exposed portion of his chest and shuffled to hide behind Maria's small form so he couldn't be seen.

Daniel shook his head slightly when he realized what he was doing and- blushing- raised his free hand to the side of his wobbly head. "My mind is all over the place..." he thought as once more the desire to run- or shuffle- upstairs and grab his work overtook him. Taking a deep breath, he leaned down and whispered to Maria, "Umm... I think I'm ready, but.... do you think it's ok.... that I didn't get work done today?"

Just a few feet from Maria, Cole was hugging Aurora beneath his arm and jingling his car keys. In a few moments, he disappeared through the kitchen with the small woman. Maria cast a glance to Jackson before digging around for her car keys in an oversized designer bag. He was getting to his feet, looming over the rest of them while wearing a cocky, angry grin. Snatching the bottle, he swished around the liquid a little. Rolling her eyes, Maria moved some of her hair behind her shoulder, "Good luck driving drunk."

"Don't worry about your paperwork." She helped Daniel stand upright, her demeanor calm and compassionate. Looking him over a few times, she rubbed his shoulders in a weak attempt to warm his skin. Nodding to Skye, she began towards the kitchen doors after addressing Martin, "I'll see you back at the house." Before she got through the doorway, Jackson shoved past, bumping Daniel with brute force and grunting, "Good luck learning Chinese."

An exasperated sigh escaped the small Italian woman's lips as she stared angrily at the tall man making his way through the kitchen. She shook her head and muttered something under her breath before giving Daniel an apologetic look, not wanting to explain. When they were all out to her car, she helped Daniel into the back seat and draped one of her coats over him. After starting up the engine of her Ford fusion, she looked to her passenger Skye, "Where to?" She adjusted her rear view mirror and gave Daniel a smile.

The car rolled slowly out of the parking lot until on Main street. Rain beat down on the car, the drops seemingly the size of golf balls. As the windshield wipers raced back and forth, Maria glanced at Skye again, "I'll come get you before work again tomorrow, so you can take your bike home."

Suri Desmond

Suri looked at Lexi as the girl didn't know what to do with the bandages and ointment "Well first you take one of the square gauze pads and put that ointment on it then put it on my arm where the wound is, then you take the rolled gauze and roll it around my arm, make sure its tigh cus it needs pressure. Then you just tape it up, easy as pi".

When Lexi started telling her story she listened quietly and nodded a few times at what she said, after the girl finished she took about five minutes of silence as she thought about what the girl told her. Her facial expression was thoughtful. When she started to speak she looked right at Lexi "well first I feel I should tell you is I am a dealer for Big Daddy, I also own a tattoo shop and my father is one of the bigger dealers for different countries. So I have money, so you have no need to worry about that, ill pay off your debt but in exchange ill need somw help from you. I am terrible about keeping organized and have too many people to deal with on a daily basis. So what I would want from you is to be my secretary from nine in the morning to five at night monday through friday. I will pay you but forty percent of what you make will come back to me for me paying your debt. I have an extra bedroom you can stay in till you have enough money to get your own place." She watched Lexi's facial expression for a few moments before continuing on.

"I am a pretty laid back person and very much a mother hen, I have a big heart but one thing that you need to know is that you never ever want to cross me. I hold grudges strongly and am someone that will act on revenge. I just want to forwarn you before you get settled. If you need pillls or any kind of drug you can always come to me sugar, I have many different drugs."

She heard the kettle go off "Ill be right back sugar" she got up and made two cups of tea then brought them back "now you can bandage up my arm". She put the two cups of tea on the coffee table "do you have any questions?"

Skye Keaton

Skye had to hold back a chuckle as she saw the shirtless Daniel shyly hide behind Maria. When Maria started walking toward the kitchen doors and followed the older woman out into the pouring rain. She looked over to her bike and frowned a bit before getting into the passenger seat of Maria's car as the older woman helped Daniel into the back seat.

Maria looked over to her after starting the car and asked her where to "Uh do you know where Franklin street is? Its a dead end street and my house is the last houae on the right". She was terrible at giving directions and hoped Maria knew where the street was. When the car was pulled out of the parking lot Skye looked out the window and had a very thoughtful gaze on her face. She was thinking about what happened that night and was wondering what the hell she was going to do. She was also a little bit worried because she has yet heard from Frank since he jumped out of the window.

Maria broke her out of her thoughts saying that she would be able to pick her up before her work shift tomorrow. Skye looked at Maria and bit her lipp lookindg down at her hands that just hours before killed a man. She wasn't sure how to answer, she wasn't even sure if she should even saty working at the place. Especially when the two nights she worked people were killed there. She finally got up the courage to answer "Uh thank you but you really wouldn't need to do that...I be I uh could bum a ride from my mom" she bit her lip, looking at Maria as she spoke then look down at her hands that still felt dirty. She definately was going to take another show when she gets home and smoke a joint.

Maria pondered the location of Skye's house for a moment. Something about the name seemed so familiar, besides the fact that she knew where it was. With one hand on the wheel and the other fighting through her wavy tresses she answered, "Yeah, my dad's friend used to live around there…" The car slid around a corner, Maria not so much as flinching while the vehicle shuddered. Sighing, she admitted, "My tires are almost bald. I've been putting off changing them."

A grin tugged at her lips, knowing that her passengers may be frightened by this. She still had perfect control of the vehicle, it was all okay. Daniel might have been too dazed to realize what was going on, but Skye on the other hand, may have been concerned. "Don't worry, I've been driving the same car for two years almost… I know the ins and outs, you're safe."

When Maria pulled up to Skye's house, she patted the girl's shoulder and said, "It's really nice having someone at the restaurant who isn't afraid to speak their mind. You know, it's unusual. Most people are too afraid. But you're not. I like you." A simper infected Maria's face as she put her hands back on the wheel, "Just be sure that you get all that information about your friend, hmm, what's his name…" Pausing, she looked beyond the windshield into the storm, "Frank," her eyes scanned Skye, "Frank."

Maria felt bad letting her out into the pounding rain, but it wasn't like she could pull up next to the front door. She wondered if Skye was just going to quit, like most people tried or wanted to. Then her mind wandered off to Suri, who undoubtedly invited the underaged stripper to her house for the night. Hopefully she was feeding the poor thing. God, she thought to herself, too much information and curiosity for one brain. Before Skye wandered off, Maria added, "If you every have any concern about work or --- you just need to talk, you can text me. In fact, I'd probably be the best candidate in your case."

Suri Desmond

Suri let the girl hug her and a small smile formed on her face "your welcome Sugar", she let the girl bandage up her arm and a small hiss came out of her mouth as she tried to ignore the pain. Once Lexi was done she took a look at her arm and smiled "thank you, that will have to do till tomorrow.

As Lexi spoke her concerns about the guys that supervise the strippers she shook her head and patted the girls knee "look Lexi when it comes to the people that I work with their is a chain of command, those guys are lower then me and I am also good friends with the Occheto kids. When i say ill take care of something I will. Those guys don't want to mess with a pissed Suri, there is a reason why they call me Heartless and i really do not like how they treated you."

She then stood up "Now I have an early morning, got something I have to take care of at the Pier. I don't think Cole will like it if I bring you so i will bring you to the tattoo shop and you can begin working. No one should come through those doors, all you will be dealing with is phone calls from clients or people wanting tattoos. After we will get you some clothes then go over to bucas so Maria can patch me up. Im going to head to bed, your room is the second door on the left. Ill leave some sweats and a t-shirt in there okay?"

Suri took her mug of tea and headed down to her room, she grabbed her smallest pair of sweatpants and a small shirt and brought it out to Lexi "here you go hun, if you need to take a shower the bathrooms first door on the left. If you need me my rooms first door on the right". She gave Lexi's shoulder a soft squeeze then went and made sure the doors were locked before she headed down to her room.

a
Skye was glad that Maria knew where her street was but the way Maria mention her dads friend made her give Maria a questioning glance but' she didn't want to push the subject. As she felt the car slide a little she gripped the edge of the seat and looked out the window at the down pouring rain. Maria then mentioned her tired and Skye let out a nervous laugh "definately should get them changed, especially with the weather we have been having

As Maria reassured her she was safe in the car she nodded her head "well I bet its safer then me trying to drive home on my bike, I don't have a car because I kinda get claustraphobic in them and a bike gives me the open air" she said as she watched tem pull into her drive way. She unbuckled her seatbelt then felt Maria's hand on her shouldee, looking over to the older girl she listened to what Maria said "I usually am not someone that speaks up like that, I don't know what came over me really. Just what I saw and what I was made to do...I feel like it killed something in me...I understand that might be what kind of work y'all are into but I am just seventeen. I have a life ahead of me but now ai am not sure what lies ahead...I just know tonight everything changed."

She opened her door and went to step outside "next time you plan on hiring someone...well I recommend not hiring someone as young as me especially when killing on the job is a daily thing" her voice was monotoned and held no feeling to it. What Maria said last made her turn her head around and look Maria in the face "thanks..I might need that..Ill see you tomorrow". Skye then walked out into the rain and then went and sat on her porch, she watched as the rain poured down around her and she just sat there hoping the rain would wash everything away.

Daniel Takahashi

The rain that splattered his face as he followed the two girls to the car went completely unnoticed except for the chill that it sent shivering down his spine. Daniel just walked to the car like a zombie, not processing anything even as Maria pushed him into the backseat nor when she spread her jacket across his bare chest. He snuggled deep into the warmth of the tiny piece of clothing without thinking, grey eyes turning to eye the seatbelt hanging beside him. A voice very similar to his mother's suddenly popped up in the back of his mind, scolding him in Japanese for not immediately buckling up. At this point, however, he was beyond caring and shoved the insistent thought away.

As Maria and Skye spoke in the front seat, he allowed himself to sink into the upholstery of the backseat. Let this girls decide what was happening, he was going to just relax. Slowly he began to nod off, having to forcefully shake himself awake every few minutes. This contine until the car creaked around the corner and he sat bolt up-right suddenly- clutching the door as if for his life.

Once that experience was over, he quickly lost the fight against sleep and began to snooze lightly against the back window- fogging it up with his breath.

The girl had spunk, Maria had to admit that to herself. Even when Skye made the comment about not hiring girls so young with the intention of killing folks, Maria still had to admit she liked her. The attitude she carried was literally identical to Maria's at that age; bratty and furious. So, she simply nodded the girl off with a smile. Maria didn't pull away until Skye disappeared into her house to seek shelter from the livid storm.

When pulled up to a stop sign, Maria put the car in park. Shifting a bit, she turned to face Daniel who was more or less snoozing and fogging up the window. "Hey," she whispered, not wanting to disturb him entirely. Still, he did not stir despite her voice. Crawling towards him a bit, almost wedged between the two front seats resting atop the center console, the small woman reached towards her back seat passenger. It was a daring maneuver being that she was mainly balanced on both of her palms.

She could not awaken him, so again she attempted to balance on the muscles of a single wrist as she grasped the air just beyond Daniel's arm. Then, she flailed, somehow falling and landing in a complex position. Her head smacked against Daniel's legs, and she lay crammed on the back seat floor. Oddly enough she fit well. Wiggling, she sat up and peered at Daniel, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment and her long hair briefly falling into her face. With a giant puff, she blew the hair from her eyes.

With everyone leaving, or at least getting ready to leave, Martin stopped toying with his empty shot glass and stood up and took a final look around. There was Cole and Aurora leaving together through the kitchen doors, arms wrapped around each other like a couple of love birds. Then there was Daniel, acting a mixture between drunk and sleepy from what Martin could only assume had been pain killers, mumbling worriedly about paperwork, and Maria doting on him as if he were a particularly sweet puppy. Which was probably why Jackson seemed to be in a mood, posturing like an alpha male whose territory was being encroached on. Finally, there was Maya and her problematic FBI agent and- and the agent was just leaving. Martin bit back an almost hysteric laugh as he quickly made his way up the stairs. After everything the man had seen, after everything the family had done to people this night who weren't even law enforcement, probably couldn't get them in trouble, he got to just leave, calm as you please with only a miffed Maya as his punishment.

He made his way into his office, slowly moving back his things from where he'd made a spot for Daniel. That done, Martin slid his gun back into its hiding place in the desk and began to put his unfinished paperwork into his bag, to be dealt with later that night. Then, with slight hesitation, he grabbed Daniel work too. It wasn't like he was going to sleep tonight anyways. May as well do something more productive than staring at his blank ceiling.

Martin didn't hurry to catch a ride with someone as he finally left his office, hesitating at the top of the stairs. He didn't really have the patience for most of them right now. They were joking and laughing, quietly talking to each other like nothing had happened. Was he the only one still bothered by it? If that was the case, then were they the messed up ones, or was it him? He tucked that thought away, pushing it to the back of his mind as he stepped out of Bucca's door and into a deluge. The rain was cold, biting, just what he needed to wake up.

He pulled up the hood of his coat and hailed a taxi relatively quickly, sliding into the car before giving the cab driver the address. There was a silence then inside the cab, apart from the water dripping onto the floor from his clothes, but outside he could hear the rain pounding mercilessly on the city's streets, thunder booming overhead like a giant drum being beaten. He let his face fall against the side window, the cool glass pressed against his skin. Closing his eyes, he let out a deep sigh.

Thoughts bounced around his mind like a perpetual game of pinball, anything from his worry about Daniel, his concern about the FBI agent actually doing something, guilt at not doing something earlier, even if there hadn't been anything he could do, anger, fear...

"Hey, buddy. We're here."

The cab driver's voice broke him out of his tumultuous thoughts and, with a smile and a nice tip, Martin made his way once more into the storm, jogging towards the front door of the house he'd visited so many times, almost always on business. But there had been a few times it had been for a party, or for a nice visit. But he didn't particularly feel safe here, he noted, now mercifully protected from the rain as he reached the front door. He didn't feel safe much of anywhere, especially after a night like tonight.

He sighed and rang the doorbell. Hopefully Cole had at least arrived first since Maria had been dropping off one of the waitresses and Daniel. Until then, he was stuck out here.

Skye Keaton

Skye sat on her deck for most of the night as she watched the rain fall down. She kept replayng the scene of last night over and over inher head and also kept thinking about the conversation she had with Maria. She just was so unsure of what to do, she felt exhausted but she knew she wouldn't be able to sleep. It was about three in the morning when she finally went inside the house. She went and took a long shower wishing she could just wash the memories of last night away. Once she was out she got dressed in her room, deciding to wear a long shirt and her hat, she also decided to add a pair of white leggings because it was still a bit chilly.

She looked in the mirror once more, she still looked like shit but she didn't really care at the moment. She put her glasses on because she did't want to have to deal with her contacts all day.Once she was ready it was nearing four fifteen. She left her mom a note telling her she took the extra car and was going to the cafe.

Once she got to the twenty four hour cafe she went in and ordered a large iced mocha with expresso. She then sat down and took out the drawing pad she had in her bag and started to draw. She wanted to be able to focus on something other than the thoughts that were plaguing her mind. She was stilunsure if she should stay at Bucas or not. She still has yet to hear from Frank and wished he would contact her somehow, he seemed to be the only one that would help her find out who her father was. As se ws drawing she was unaware of the woman that was looking at her.

Katherine had been sitting at the little cafe since her shift at Windy City had ended, she was new in town and hadn't found herself a place to stay other than a few run down motels. Once the scum that lived there found her at the club, it was time to move on. She knew what she was, and she knew what she wasn't. The word "stripper" did not mean "hooker", no matter how many people thought so.

Sipping her caramel frappe she browsed the wanted ad's on her laptop, her search for a female roommate was becoming hopeless at best. The bells on the door announced a new arrival to the cafe and a break from her boredom...what time was it anyway? A quick look at her pc informed her, 4:30 A.M.. Kat watched the woman walk in. She seemed troubled, and obviously tired, at 4:30 in the morning who in their right mind wouldn't be?

When she pulled out her sketchbook, Kat smiled. Art was an amazing thing, and so diverse. Her dancing is a form of art, and this girl could draw, it seemed, without even speaking, they had something in common besides age. Kat decided to watch her for a while longer before making her move, but that while may just turn into moments, because she already felt like a major creeper, and who likes a creep?

As she drew Skye really wasn't paying at what she was drawing she just let herself go in the moment, not too focused of anything going on around her. She wanted to talk to Frank, she wanted to know who her father was even if her father or mother didnt want her to know. She had a right to know who she shared her genes with. She wasn't six or seven years old anymore, she was seventeen and she could handle knowing whatever or whoever her father was. Over the past couple days she has seen more things that she has ever wished to see, maybe she should just ask her mother again, its been awhile since she asked last.

As she put down her pencil she finally saw what she drew and it made her feel sick to her stomach. The page showed the inside of the Bistro with a guy on the ground and her sitting on the guy and holding a knife over his chest. She drew Tesla off to the side and Cole standing near her. She just couldn't get it out of her mind. She ripped the drawing out of the book, which she never did even of the drawing wasn't good she always kept them to help her get better, she crumpled the piece of paper in her hand and slammed it on the table.

A few tears fell down her cheek as she whispered "why...why..why" she looked around at the deserted cafe, only a few people there. Her grey eyes met another woman's eyes, the woman was watching her and Skye quickly looked away. She felt dirty even though she rubbed her skin raw in the shower, there was still red patches on her hands, arms, and body. She took out her phone and teied dialing Frank's number but there was no answer. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she laid her head ontop of her arms on the table as she tried to fight the tears that wanted to break free.

Kat continued to watch the girl set her pencil down, and she cocked her head to the side as she saw the girl give a shocked reaction to her picture.....she drew it. What on earth would make her give that sort of reaction? After she proceeded to rip the page out and slammed it on the table Kat wondered if she lacked the talent for drawing and just didn't like the work, but the tears that followed wiped the question from her head as she seen her whisper something she didnt quite catch. When her stalkee looked around the cafe and caught her watching her, she turned red and looked away, almost as quickly as she did. Well there goes that one ya freakin creeper. Kat shook her head with the thought. She heard the girl she was watching try to make a call, her sigh must have meant no answer. Her friend was probably sleeping or something.....

Kat braved another glance at the girl, and seeing her with her head down on the table she shut her laptop. Enough was enough. There was something going on with the poor girl and she didnt deserve to be alone right now, even if it was what she wanted. Kat needed to know why she couldn't keep her attention off of her anyways, so she stood and made her way to her table. "Is...this seat taken?" Without waiting for an answer, Kat slid into the seat and placed her laptop on the table, leaving it closed. She had no idea how to continue her futile attempt at a conversation, so she just sat there and thought about putting a hand on her arm. The red blotches told her it wasn't a great idea so she settled for a rather lame "You ok hun?"

She doubted that there would be any real conversation happening this morning, for all she knew this girl thought she was a weird creeper chick with a staring problem.

Skye heard footsteps approach her table but she didn't look up, hoping whoever it was just would go away but nothing was going in her favor lately. She heard the chair being pulled back and something be put on the table, hearing the soft sound of a woman speak asking her if the seat was taken but she didn't give any answer. When the woman asked if she was okay she wanted to laugh.

Looking up she saw the blonde woman that was looking at her before now sitting across feom her. She did let out a small painful laugh and wiped her eyes. "Do I look okay to you?" she said with a soft sarcastic tone. Letting out a small sigh she rubbed her forehead and looked down to her drawing pad "sorry...just not had the best last couple of days...thats all". For some reason she just wanted to tell the blonde beauty everything that has happened over the past three days but she knew she couldn't. Her life would be on the line if she did or worse her mothers and she just couldn't let that happen.

Gripping her sketch pad a bit she looked up to the woman "Im Skye" she said with a sound of tiredness to her voice. "If your looking for some good company your probably at the wrong table." She then saw the crumpled up piece of paper that had the gruesome drawing on it right in front of the woman, she stared at it for a few minutes, which may or may have not been taken as her looking at the woman's breasts. She looked bqck down at the sketch pad and wondered if the woman would look at the drawing. Part of her wanted the woman to look at it but another part of her didn't, knowing if the woman did their could be alot of questions that she just wasn't ready to answer and she really was not the best liar.
