Scars/Tattoos: A long scar reaching across his chest from the end of his robotic right arm and the start of his flesh. Obtained when a Magnadriver exploded, obliterating his arm and slicing his chest open with shrapnel. He has multiple scars on his face from where he was either nicked by parts of his helmet or where the metal actually sliced into him. He has multiple shrapnel scars on his chest.

General Appearance: He has short cropped auburn hair that takes on an almost spiked appearance. His eyes are a stormy gray-blue, and his skin is quite pale. He has a thin, lithe build. His right shoulder and a small chunk of the surrounding torso in gone. Replaced with, instead, a robotic arm. You can even see a portion of the gears and wires where the shoulder and the little beyond should be, while the arm itself is completely cased in steel. He has many scars on his body from a nearly fatal explosion he and his team were caught in.

General Str, Health, Agility: He has a more athletic build, more adapted to using speed. He is, however, skilled with both blades and guns.

Voice: Low, but deep.

Disabilities: After the explosion, he'd had to wait to recover from the damage to several vital organs, tissue, and for doctors to replace destroyed muscle and repair burns. After the extensive surgery and the attachment of the artificial arm, he'd gone through a long recovery process. He pushed himself during this time period, and wound up coming out stronger than before. While the wound still causes him pain sometimes, he considers it one of the most important parts of his life; as the arm lets him lift heavier loads, and he is in better shape than ever. What didn't kill him only made him stronger.

Clothing: When outside of his armor, he normally wears a sleeveless(he ripped them off) jumpsuit and black boots. The front of the jumpsuit is unzipped, and he wears a long-sleeved white shirt.

Religious preferences: Christian. Though he is quite cynical about it; constantly remarking on "God's sense of humor".

Skill: He has minor mechanical skills, so that he can make adjustments and repairs to his arm if necessary when no solarist is present. He can also play the guitar, something his father taught him.

Personality

General Personality: Very cynical. He strives to better himself as a fighter, as a defender. He will push himself beyond safe limits, sometimes. Like after the accident that almost killed him. He frightened the doctors by how hard he tried to recover. He fights hard to defend his team, even willing to sacrifice himself should it be necessary. He believes that Earth is doomed, and that all attempts to reclaim it are useless. He usually stays quiet, and speaks only when necessary. Though he has a calm personality, he can be quick to anger.

Likes/Dislikes: He likes older Old Earth bands; like UFO, Testament, Meat Loaf, and Heaven & Hell. He loves his handgun, which he custom built; and is an avid collector of Old Earth swords.

Fears: That he won't be able to protect his team. That he'll let them down and have to bear their deaths.

Attitudes towards friends/strangers: He feels he doesn't need them. He sees the members of his team on a more professional level, rather than a personal one.

Opinion of the World: "We're at the breaking edge. Barely holding on. Struggling desperately to hang onto the shell of a world - of a civilization - that we barely managed to save from ourselves in the first place. And now it looks like God finally had enough, and decided to see if we were even worth the trouble of keeping around. Hm. Personally, I believe we'll ultimately lose our grip. Soon." - Jasper

Weapons/Equipment: A custom handgun that he always carries. He has two swords, a smaller, thinner sword which he wields with his left hand; his second sword is much bigger than the first, and can only be wielded by his right arm.

What equipment typically carried/worn: His exo-suit, which was built by his sister.

Items that stand out or are special: A ring that has been in the family for generations; back before the meteor ever hit. It is gold, with silver engravings around a triangular stone of pure amber set at the wider tip.

History

Family/Relationships: A sister(solarist)(deceased: Killed on mission)

Enemies: His sister's boyfriend, also the assault position on her team. He lived, and Ridley blames him for her death.

General History: He and his sister lost both parents at an early age, when they were killed in an accident - both having been on the same team. He took on the role of surrogate father for his sister. He decided to apply for an assault position, hoping that it would allow him to better provide for himself and his sister. Shorty after his acceptance, his sister applied to become a solarist. Horrified, he'd tried to disuade her, but she proved too stubborn and he finally relented. After she passed she helped him build his exo-suit, but was killed only months later on her first mission, her boyfriend - whom Ridley had always despised - had survived, and Jasper's hate for him only grew. Two years later he was almost killed when his team's Magnadriver exploded due to a mechanical failure induced by the toxic atmosphere. He and the medic were the team's only survivors, he having lost his right arm. After extensive surgery and a long recovery process he only drove himself harder, to become stronger should he ever be in another life threatening situation, though one where he would have more control.
