Description

That time of year thou mayst in me behold
When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang
Upon those boughs which shake against the cold,
Bare ruin'd choirs, where late the sweet birds sang.

Kallistrate's primary mode of living is focused internally, where she take things in primarily via her intuition. She greatly values intelligence, knowledge, and competence, and has high standards in these regards, which she continuously strive to fulfill. To a somewhat lesser extent, she has similar expectations of others. This came make her come off as judgemental and cold, but only because she becomes disappointed when she knows someone isn't living to their potential.
With Introverted Intuition dominating Kallistrate's personality, she mostly focuses her energy on observing the world, and generating ideas and possibilities. Her mind constantly gathers information and makes associations about it. However, her primary interest is not understanding a concept, but rather applying that concept in a useful way. She does not follow an idea as far as she possibly can, seeking only to understand it fully. It is not easy for Kallistrate to express her internal images, insights, and abstractions. The internal form of her thoughts and concepts is highly individualized, and is not readily translatable into a form that others will understand. However, Kallistrate is driven to translate her ideas into a plan or system that is usually readily explainable, rather than to do a direct translation of her thoughts. She usually doesn't see the value of a direct transaction, and will also have difficulty expressing her ideas, which are non-linear. However, her extreme respect of knowledge and intelligence is enough to motivate her to explain herself to other people who she feels is deserving of the effort. Kallistrate spends a lot of time inside her own mind, and may have little interest in the other people's thoughts or feelings. She has always had problems giving other people the level of intimacy that is needed in order to form close relationships or partnerships. This is a quirk of her she has always hated and it often saddens her.
Kallistrate's only interest in dealing with the world is to make decisions, express judgments, and put everything that she encounters into an understandable and rational system. Consequently, she is quick to express judgments. These judgements do not come from a place of pride, more-so from the respect of true knowledge and she never states an opinion unless she can back it up with facts. She often finds herself misunderstood, because her intuitive understanding isn't paired with a well-developed ability to express her insights. In these cases, Kallistrate tends to blame misunderstandings on the limitations of the other party, rather than on her own difficulty in expressing themselves. This tendency sometimes causes her to dismiss others input too quickly, and to seem generally arrogant and elitist. Both of which are untrue, since she finds a large ego a waste of time and space. Kallistrate is ambitious, self-confident, deliberate, and a long-range thinker. She very much dislikes messiness and inefficiency, and anything that is muddled or unclear. She value clarity and efficiency above all, and will put enormous amounts of energy and time into consolidating her insights into structured patterns.
People may see her as aloof and reserved. Indeed, Kallistrate is not overly demonstrative of her affections, and is likely to not give as much praise or positive support as others may need or desire. That doesn't mean, however, that she doesn't truly have affection or regard for others. She simply does not typically feel the need to express it. Others may falsely perceive the her as being rigid and set in her ways. Nothing could be further from the truth, because Kallistrate is committed to always finding the objective best strategy to implement her ideas. She is usually quite open to hearing an alternative way of doing something.
When under a great deal of stress, she tends to become absorbed with minutia and details that she would not normally consider important to her overall goal. Kallistrate tries relatively hard to remember to express herself sufficiently, so as to avoid difficulties with people's misunderstandings. She's always had an insight into the Big Picture, and is driven to synthesize her concepts into solid plans of action. Despite all of her negative qualities, Kallistrate has never once sought to manipulate or be controlling or cruel to anyone. She sees everyone as equal and holds all of her fellow people to a high standard that they, themselves may not see. She has never said an unkind word about anyone, but her opinions about people are her own and not easily subject to change. She has a kind heart and is always willing to help those who seek it.

GENERAL APPEARANCE

Kallistrate is every bit of an amazon as her mother.Tall, lithe, and tone, it is no question that she holds great strength. However, small differences can be seen. Her mothers hair was the color of oil slick and as straight and soft as silk. Kallistre's hair is thick and curly and normally forms a wild mane on her head. Her mother has voluptuous muscle that all amazons have. Being have Native American, Kallistrate has her own curves but her body is more lithe and calculated than the brutal strength her mothers is made for.
Kallistrate is also covered in tattoos, a decision she made in honor of her patriarchal line, much to the chagrin of her mother. They appear symmetrically on both sides of her body. These are the markings of a warrior, a role Kallistrate was made to take.

H I S T O R Y:
Diana Prince is quite the super hero with many responsibilities. But no matter what she always made sure that Kallistrate knew that she loved her. Her childhood was spent on Earth with her stoic but loving father. Most of her childhood was spent with him on their land in the Reservation. He was Choctaw indian, but they settled in the forests of Washington with the Quinault in a very secluded cabin deep in the woods. He knew she would be different. There was no telling when her powers would crop up, or even if she would have any. But it was very important to both Diana and Toni Itichito, that she was protected. He taught her how to hunt and track, and how to use nature for medicine and food. She never even spoke english until she was 12. He taught all of her schooling and made sure she was more than proficient in Math, Science and history. He even taught her about cars. That was her favorite. She never saw another person until she turned 15, the day she met her mother for the first time.
Kallistrate remembers how beautiful she was. The only other woman she had ever seen was her own face in the mirror and she had never been too concerned about her appearance. But seeing her mother, how radiant and gorgeous she was, made her question why she never took more pride in her looks.
Up until the time she came to the academy she lived in Themyscira and was treated like royalty. Naturally she was constantly uncomfortable. She missed her humble cottage in the woods with her father. There was no one else to worry about. But she had come of age, and it was time for her to understand who she was and why she was so strong and why she could levitate when she concentrated. Under her mother's watch, she learned how to fly and wield her strength with measured skill. Now it's time to learn how to use them for the good of the human race.

FAVORITE POWER:
There is nothing in the world quite like breaking free of man-made walls and flying through the air. Tight spaces are suffocating.

Kallistrate design her home to not only reflect her personality, but to reflect her parents. The artwork is for the most part an ode to her mother who is extremely greek. While the tones and shapes throughout her home are more like her father, very strict and black and white. These things, coupled with her own personal touches makes her feel the most at home she's been in years. The most important feature to her though was a very open floor plan.
Image
Gustav is her tuned up BMW E-30 And he is an absolutely sight to behold. At least to her. Solid black matte paint. 90° V8 McLaren engine with a max RPM of 8500. The camber is about as negative as it can get legally, and each tire is on bags that uses a compression system to change the degree of camber whenever she so choses. Her dream car.

Jack was, speechless to say the least. Can't do much chatter with someone kissing you that is...well suppose you could but no one would understand you. Funny, he usually has some sort of snappy comeback or comment but no. While Wren was among the many he was excited to land on, the way it happened felt so unsportsmanlike, if you can even call this a sport. Sure it was awesome! Just would have been more awesome if it was done for the fun of it, rather than sparing them from quite the awkward moment. Even so, it looked like he got the short end of the kissing stick as Christian's kiss looked more sensual and passionate. Lucky bastard. He then took a breath of relief, feeling as if he's just dodged another bullet. Of all the people the frickin' bottle could land on it would be on someone that's liable to kill him. At least Christian doesn't seem like a complete psychopath like Crane and Joker.

Perhaps there is some truth as to why some the chicks around here don't see him as a menace. Still even if Christian himself is a nice guy, what about that other guy or er, thing? Jack's heard about Symbiotes from his Dad and some of the Guardians, especially from Flash who was bonded to one of them. Terrible parasites, nasty things that you don't want anywhere near you unless you like being a puppet. Yet Flash oddly enough had control over the Venom Symbiote as far as he could remember. Unless he missed a time where Venom went on a murderous rampage?

While he would like to believe that Christian was the same as Flash; Jack's got the impression that he barely has any control over it. Otherwise he would have probably seen the guy hanging around outside of class. He would thank Wren for the save but after seeing her reaction to Jai...he'd better not say a word. Safer that way, not like he needed something thrown at him and create another knot in his head. Speaking of knots as he watched Wren take Christian out of the circle, which was probably for the best, he noticed the tall chick who bonked him on the head.

He was a bit surprised she would have shown up, he never really saw Kallistrate outside of class. Still first time for everything right? Now it was to be Alex's turn and he merely sat there awaiting to see what more action is to unfold.

Christian was absolutely surprised by what happened. He thought for sure he was going to be pressured into kissing...Jack...not something he would ever want to do. Whoever invented this game needs to be hunt down and flogged in the streets. A mess of emotions swelled up inside of Christian, he wasn't sure how to process it all. Should he be happy? Excited? Aroused? Embarrassed? Angry? Disgusted? Spiteful? His thoughts were clouded with thoughts of Wren and of death. It seemed the Symbiote was thoroughly displeased.

Almost like roaches skittering across the floor, he could feel them crawling just beneath his skin. He then felt sharp pinpricks on his brain, as he felt the malicious signals the Symbiote put out. It was seething, crying out for blood like a baby for his bottle, for the blood of those that surrounded him. It was then Wren took him away from all the noise and lights as he soon found himself looking over her balcony at the world below. He felt the night air on his skin and through his hair. The murderous voices where quietening as he looked out beyond. There he saw lights, lights from the homes of strangers, strangers with families, strangers with friends, strangers who have lives of their owns.

Are their lives important? What makes life truly living? Is it something as cliche as love and friendship? Is it for the pleasures we feel or even the pain we feel? Is it because Religion tells us so? Because of it's promises of a peaceful afterlife? How many of those people have futures and how many do not? How many of them love life and how many of them hate it? So many complain and so many make life miserable...so why not kill them all? Is living a life that is nothing but uncertain truly worth it? After all death is the great equalizer, we all die someday...some take longer than others. Which led him to gaze upon Wren who seemed to be happy with herself.

Christian groaned at her as he looked back at the world. "Why did you do that? Huh, why did you have to go and make some show out of it?" He said bitingly. He then sighed as he looked back at her, "Sometimes I wonder if you really do care about anyone else but yourself? Sure you have the power to survive, to laugh at death straight in the face, but that doesn't give you the right to be so....reckless! You know, what if I did decide to bite your face off huh!? What then!? How many more faces would I have bitten off before I was stopped!? Huh? What then!? And I wanted to...so badly that I craved it!!" He shouted. Then it grew quiet for a moment as Christian gave a heavy sigh.

"I....I....,"he paused, "...I hate living like this. I hate feeling like a living time bomb just waiting to go off. I hate it so much...I just wish it would end. Hell, I would throw myself off the side of this building right now. I would stand up and literally jump over this railing if I thought it would work." He then chuckled, "But I know it wouldn't...I would survive again and again." He said disdainfully. "Do you know about the monk who burned himself alive?" He suddenly asked, the tone of his voice no longer angry. "I was watching a documentary about Vietnam and the war. During it they talked about this Buddhist Monk who sat in the middle of a busy street and set himself on fire in protest to their Government. Can you imagine the courage it would take, to do something like that? To take your life not for yourself but for something bigger than yourself? It's called immolation and it inspired me to do the same...though it wasn't for something so noble. I couldn't get a hold of gasoline but I did however, grab as much bottles of booze I could find. I took the bottles to my room and I doused myself, I was drenched from head to toe when I finished. Then I took a match and lit it. J.A.R.V.I.S. noticed what I was doing and knew where I was going with this. He sounded an alert but it would've came to late...I was ready to drop that match...but then...," Christian trailed off as he sat down, back against the wall. He looked down into his knees and then he began to quiver.

"...Then...then...HE, happened. I've been taking my medicine, a lot of it, and I thought I had him! Then like a goddamn puppet, he took control of my body, threw the match away and forced me into the shower!" He shouted as tears began to form. "Then came in Security and they removed everything flammable from my room!! I could've died, I SHOULD'VE DIED!!" He yelled as he cried. "It would've been over, OVER!!! But I don't think it'll ever be over...what hope is there? I can't even commit FUCKING SUICIDE!!!" He shouted up into the nighttime sky. It was then he looked over to Wren who either might be annoyed, upset, worried or anything else. He then sighed, "I'm sorry...it's a party...go ahead and go back to it if you want...I'm...just gonna sit here for awhile." Christian said calmly as he began to dry his tears.

{WONDER WOMAN | NAVY/SKYBLUE | X | TAKE ME TO CHURCH}

ImageKallistrate smiled and fought the urge to recoil as Caleb leaned up against the bar next to her. She settled for a small adjustment of her seat and tucking her hair behind her ear. Close proximity to others was something she was still getting used to, but Caleb's pleasant nature made it easier.
"As you can tell, I'm having a lot of luck with the men."
She really did smile at that one and a chuckle even escaped her throat, but she continued to look at the game and sit in a companionable silence. It wasn't but a couple minutes of it, yet she enjoyed simply watching the people around her. She had, in this time, finished her cider and set it on the bar before almost standing to get another. After all it wasn't like alcohol affected her much anyway. However, before she could move to stand Caleb glanced at her almost as if he didn't want to look at her in the eye.
"You okay?"
Kallistrate merely looked at him calmly and settled down in her chair again. It was strange to her and she wouldn't lie and say the question didn't confuse her. She couldn't think of too many times another person at the academy asked after her well being. To be honest she had never given anyone reason to, seeing how she wouldn't consider herself to be in anyway unstable. But the more she thought about it the more it made sense why he would ask her. Expressing emotion was not something that anyone would say she was particularly good at. Oh of course she felt emotion, certainly. But sometimes she forgot how her stoic face could come across to others. Most days she felt perfectly fine and content with the ways this were. But was she okay? She didn't quite know.
"I'd like to think so. I'd like to think all of us have something in life to be content with. And that that thing, what ever it may be, helps us cope with things we may not be so okay with." She offered him another smile and walked around to grab that cider before resuming her seat. She had just returned when she followed Caleb's line of sight to Wren laying one on Jackand her his spin landing on Christian. To her suprise though, Wren also very tenderly kissed Christian as well. She only mildly noticed how popular Jack seemed to be before she turned her attention to Christian, attempting to read his body language. Wren wasn't an idiot, far from it, so Kallistrate was confident she knew what she was getting into if Christian became too...upset. She knew a bit about symbiotes, general knowledge really, but that knowledge had her on edge. All of them were here for a specific purpose, to control their ability and be the best they could be. So she tried not to be too obvious at her leering. She was merely an overly cautious person when it came to these situations. The last thing she wanted was for him to be uncomfortable around her, it was the last thing she wanted for anyone. But there weren't many people that could stand a physical fight with a symbiote in full control, and she wasn't keen on finding out if she could or not.
"You can have my spot in the circle if you want. Right next to the selective Riddler."
Kallistrate only barely registered she was being spoken to as she stared out at Wren and Christian speaking on the terrace. She also hadn't realized she had been slowly unfurling to a stand and looked down at where Caleb was still leaning when she finally realized what she said. She actually laughed at that and gave him a look as she started fishing something out of her pocket.
" I'm afraid I won't be playing tonsil hockey in your stead tonight, hate to disappoint." She even surprised herself by not resisting the urge to wink before she gulped down the rest of her cider and threw the bottle away.
"I'm certain your a much better participant than me anyways."
ImageThey both parted with a wave and she began to walk towards the group and locked eyes with Jack. Since the party seemed to be dwindling she figured now was as good a time as any to apologize. Carefully and slowly she walked around the room so she was behind where Jack sat on one of the sofas. She knelt to she was directly behind his head. She glanced over the angry red bump and her brow furrowed. Her hand came up as if to touch it but she thought better about it and leaned forward instead. From her vantage point she could see the sweat that made a fine sheen on his forehead, no doubt from the possibility of kissing other men or just from the stress of the game itself. Either way, it endeared him to her slightly and she relaxed. He didn't look at her at first so she got as close to his ear as she felt necessary.
"I wanted to apologize for bumping into you earlier. I wasn't paying attention and my head seems a bit harder than I realized. If you need anything for the pain, I'm good at herbal remedies. Should help the healing process too. I'll be in the garage if you need it.
She placed her hand on his shoulder and squeezed slightly before rising. She walked the small distance to the terrace door and paused to make sure nothing too important was being said before she opened the door.
"It's better to face anything with friends... rather than alone."
She walked up to them slowly, making sure Christian could see her clearly, but never treating him like some cornered animal. She quirked her lip at Wren and then looked to Christian and placed the item she fished from her pocket onto the balcony railing next to him. It was a dark chocolate kiss. She wasn't ashamed to say she had a sweet tooth(especially after living in the woods most of her life) so she usually always had chocolate or some sweet on her person at all times. Coincidentally, chocolate was also something she had read symbiotes require a good amount of.
"She's right you know. Friends are crucial, especially doing what we do." Kallistrate walked to his other side and down over the railing. "Enjoy the chocolate. And if you ever find you have a hankering",she punctuated the word with a knowing, but empathetic look his way,"I always have some." She then looked at the two of them and smiled genuinely. "Enjoy your evening."
With a small wave she threw her legs over the balcony and glided down to the ground before landing on her feet lightly in front of the building. She wasted no time in walking through the large from doors past the security in the foyer. The guard at the front desk seemed apparently oblivious to her attention and continued staring at her height, or maybe her tattoos, but more than likely both. She did smile when he seemed to notice her staring and immediately looked down at his desk. Deciding not to goad him, she continued to the service stairs that would lead her to the basement where the garage was currently located. It was a small trip to find herself in the large open area that was thankfully deserted for now.
Kallistrate walked up to her own vehicle and pulled her hair up. She didn't particuylarly care to get dirty tonight so she decided that changing her rims to the new set she got recently would be best.
"Jarvis? Full monty."
"Right away Miss"
The floor around her vehicle opened in sections to reveal a variety of tools and appliances found in most automotive shops. Only this was funded by Wayne Enterprises and Stark Industries. As it all settled into it's designated spot she smiled and cracked her knuckles and set to work.

Christian looked over to Wren. He didn't mean to make her upset like he did...he can't seem to do anything he wants to. Of course she would get angry over his words...which were a bit harsh. Negativity, it's like a cancer that quickly spreads and before you know it, it consumes you. He didn't want to break any relations he may have with Wren over something like this. Even though the Symbiote would like nothing better. Still it didn't stop him from spiraling downward into his more darker feelings and memories. He didn't mean to bring up his suicide attempt but it was hard to stop.

Still it made Wren feel bad for him...which was more preferable than her being angry. She began to get close to him again and instead of reacting, he allowed it. He knew what he did was wrong and now only wanted the opportunity to apologize. He looked over to her when she talked and he was surprised. He never knew Wren to be deep and emotional like this, especially over her private thoughts and feelings. "Maybe she does care." He thought to himself. He felt like such an idiot at that moment...he did what everyone else does.

It was then he decided to be more understanding towards Wren. If everyone else has these images painted in their brains about the both of them, then perhaps they could paint different images of each other. He nodded and then responded to her comments about immortality, "I can imagine...I understand the want to die, the desire for an end. I wouldn't want to last forever...not like this, it would be the ultimate nightmare." Christian looked over to her and then over his shoulder at the party. She's right...their lives are not easy. Just look at their parentage for starters...they all have legacies to live up to and carry on. That stress is something they all must feel.

Of course he was more envious of the ones who have legacies that they can be proud of. Otherwise continuing the legend of arguably the World's most dangerous serial killer was something he wanted no part of. As she took his hand he looked over to her and gave a small smile. "If it's any consolation...I am sorry for what I said. When I feel something in the moment I just follow it through. Then sometimes I think I feel certain way but then it ends up being different. These feelings usually start out as something small...then they get bigger, and alot of it is......influenced......," He then paused, "....But I try to be in control of myself, it just isn't always easy." He explained. He then looked over and said, "But...thank you, very much...for everything."

Just then their isolation was broken by the Amazonian. Compared to Wren this woman was tall and even imposing but Amazonians are said to be built like warriors. Even so their musculature does not take away from their distinctly feminine frame, some say it's the best of both, muscular yet curvaceous. He was a bit curious as to what she wanted, like him, she didn't seem to speak unless it was necessary. She then offered him, of all things, a chocolate kiss. This surprised him as well, but then again, he didn't know much about Kallistrate either. He took it and ate it as he looked up at her and gave a quiet, "Thank you." It still amazes him how some of them don't take to him with caution or fear. Of course of the many people around here, Kallistrate is one of the few that he wouldn't be as great of a threat towards. Her powers make her one of the strongest and hardiest students around.

She then let them be as he turned to watch the Amazonian leave. It was then Christian noticed that many of the other Students were leaving. Christian looked at Wren and said, "I guess the party's over."

Well that was exciting to say the least. After his couple kisses the game continued on only to be ended by the sudden ring of the intercom. It was J.A.R.V.I.S. telling them to go to bed as if they were a bunch of children. Jack gave an audible pfft as he looked up towards were the sound originated. He wasn't even drunk let alone ready to leave but rules are rules, he supposes. "I guess I won't get hammered, oh well, got my fair share of excitement at least." He said to no one in particular. It was then he nearly fell out of his seat, startled by the sudden whisper of Kallistrate.

"Whoa, Jesus!" He said aloud. He quickly turned his head to see the Amazonian standing over him, inspecting his little head injury. He was surprised by both her sudden appearance and her offer. Jack assumed she meant what she said but couldn't help but think of it as an invitation for some alone time. He would not be opposed to that little suggestion, Amazonians are known to be desirable, could be quite the fun night. Reasonably he doubted that would even happen but then he got to thinking, "Man, just how bad does this bump look?" He thought concernedly.

"Oh, uh, sure! Yeah it's no problem, you're cool!" He called out to her as he stood up. He then watched Kallistrate wander off to the balcony where Wren and Christian was. That was nice of her to care. It was then his eyes trailed off to see some of the other students leave the apartment. Jack felt it was his time to hit the road before he noticed Kumiko approaching. Another thing that seemed quite out of the ordinary. Not only being approached by Kallistrate was a rare occurrence this is perhaps just as rare to near implausible. He then looked behind him to see if someone else was standing over him. No, he was the only guy in Kumiko's way which must mean she's coming to meet him for something.

Not knowing what else to do he just put on his charming smile and spoke, "Uh, hey, what's up?" He asked not knowing her intentions.

Frankie cupped her hands together while rocking back and forth onto her heels. She usually was patient but at that particular moment she wished more than anything that the damned elevator would arrive before someone showed up. If she had her webshooters she could just jump out the window or something else stupid and reckless like half of the others. But generally when going to a party that doesn't cross one's mind. She started chewing on her bottom lip but only for a moment before huffing softly when she heard feet approaching.

"Hiya Frank." Matt said as he came into view beside her, giving her a half smile. "Do you mind if..." He motioned towards the doors.

Frankie's rising tension disipated with a soft smile when she saw it was someone who wouldn't set her teeth on edge. "Oh hey Matty." She brushed her hair behind her ears before nodding. "Yeah of course... As long as we don't talk about the party." She gave a weak laugh and an exasperated smile.

Her attention was then drawn towards Elizabeth who joined them as they waited for the terribly slow elevator. "Weird party, huh?"

Frankie gave an awkward laugh while rubbing the back of her neck. Before she got a chance to reply another person joined the group. "Green is more my color than yours." Her brows furrowed as she crossed her arms over her chest. Junior then leaned over her but Frankie stood her ground not giving an inch while staring straight back up at him. "Though it's not Alex's color either. Maybe that's what Bane sees in both of you."

She'd be lying if she said she wasn't jealous of the kiss shared between the two. It was obvious and even psycho pants over here noticed it but Frankie couldn't fight her urge to defend herself, Nathaniel and even Alex. "Yeah? And red isn't your color... But I still have an urge to see you covered in blood." Her hands moved to rest on her hips as she took a step towards him so her chest nearly pressed to his. "And his name is Nathaniel."

She wanted to smack his crooked little face all down the hallway. It took a lot to get her mad, she usually was as much of a threat as a bunny rabbit, but Junior knew how to press someone's buttons and Frankie was fuming. She was contemplating saying something else, maybe even surprising half the world and slapping the grin off his face but a hand appeared on Junior's shoulder and pulled him back. "Relax, Sergeant. We were just having a friendly conversation."

Freddie moved in front of Frankie separating her from Junior. "Hey!" She jumped to try and look over his shoulder at the Joker who was probably enjoying this way too much. "I was about to kick some major Psychopath ass." She pouted slightly. Was that the truth? Probably not but she felt like she was on a roll.

"So Stark said that I'd be expelled on my first day if I didn't snag a date to the dance and you get to be the luckiest girl here and go with me." Freddie's... order? took Frankie by enough surprise that when she was about to rant some more about kicking Junior's ass she froze her mouth agape just staring up at Freddie. They had been friends for longer than she could count so of course he came and asked her because it took no effort on his part.

Before she had a chance to reply Junior had to pipe up once again, "Oh my.... This night is full of illogical ships."

"That's it!" Frankie jumped, reaching her arms over Freddie's shoulders as she tried to grab for Junior. "I'm going to strangle you with a balloon animal!"

Saved by the bell... Or ding of a slow elevator. Probably J.A.R.V.I.S.'s idea of a joke. Frankie grunted angrily as she entered the elevator, then held it open for everyone... Well everyone except Junior. She put out her hand to stop him before furiously clicking the "close doors" button. "Take a hike before I actually try to kill you." Sure she was mad but she didn't actually try to inflict serious damage. If she did, well it would have happened. Even though she wasn't as strong as her father she was still stronger than any human and contrary to popular belief, Junior was just an insane human like his father.

Frankie glared at Junior as the doors closed separating them. She let out a soft sigh and remained silent in the elevator. She wasn't in the mood to deal with anyone at that point. So once it opened on her floor she mumbled a soft, "Good night." To whomever was on the elevator with her before disappearing down the hall and into her room for the night.

Wren was surprised Christian didn't just about hurl himself over the balcony when she sat down beside him. She wasn't trying to scare him away or instigate the symbiote but just... Be there. "I can imagine...I understand the want to die, the desire for an end. I wouldn't want to last forever...not like this, it would be the ultimate nightmare."

She nodded her head while pursing her lips slightly. "Yeah..." Wren hated the whole "indestructible" part of her life she inherited from her dad. Of course it is, theoretically possible for her to die.... Maybe. But as far as her and her father knew, there wasn't anything yet. So she was stuck to live and keep on living past everyone. That's one thing no one realized about her, why she annoyed everyone. Part of it was just Wren being Wren but another part was to keep others away. It's easier being immortal when you don't have anyone close to you to watch wither away.

When she took his hand, Christian actually looked over at her and smiled, which Wren in return couldn't help but smile back. "If it's any consolation...I am sorry for what I said. When I feel something in the moment I just follow it through. Then sometimes I think I feel certain way but then it ends up being different. These feelings usually start out as something small...then they get bigger, and alot of it is......influenced......But I try to be in control of myself, it just isn't always easy. But...thank you, very much...for everything."

Wren smiled, giving his hand a squeeze and even nudging his shoulder with her own in a playful way. "I'm sorry I made a show of everything... And don't understand the concept of personal boundaries at all..." Her free hand scratched her head as she laughed awkwardly. "... And kissed you..."

As the balcony door opened, Wren quickly withdrew her hand from Christian's like she was caught in the middle of something she shouldn't have been. She cupped her hands together and cleared her throat as Kallistrate stepped out onto the terrace with them. She dug out a hershey's kiss for Christian before speaking, "She's right you know. Friends are crucial, especially doing what we do... Enjoy the chocolate. And if you ever find you have a hankering, I always have some." She smiled towards them both which Wren returned with a slight wave of the hand. "Enjoy your evening." With that Kallistrate went over the edge.

Wren was about to say something most likely sarcastic to lighten the mood but was interrupted by someone else joining them. "Oh, sorry! Night, guys, it was a great night." Mathias gave them a wave before jumping over the edge as well.

"I guess the party's over." Wren looked over at Christian laughing slightly.

Next Kari and Kumiko were at the balcony. At this point Wren was slightly rubbing her temples half covering her face. She wasn't embarrassed to be seen with Christian or anything like but more of the mess she made earlier and the whispers she probably dragged him into unintentionally.

"You are missing some interesting stuff inside." Kari said before climbing up onto the railing. "Great party Wren, as always. Good night guys."

Wren just watched as she too went over the edge. After a moment or two she looked over at Christian with a confused scrunched up face. "Does no one take the stairs anymore?" She then stood up and walked over to the railing, resting her hands upon it before looking over. "I mean damn... I could jump over the edge too but then they'd be cleaning pieces of me up for weeks." She pivoted around to lean back against the railing to look over at Christian. "And a fall like that?" Wren motioned over her shoulders. "I'd be sore for days."

With a sigh, Wren walked over towards him, giving his foot a light nudge. "Thanks for coming to my shit storm of a party." She laughed before offering him a hand. "I'm sure after what I put you through that guy could use some rest."

Wren showed everyone who remained in her penthouse out of the party before J.A.R.V.I.S. got his circuits in a twist. Once everyone was out she groaned seeing how messy her place was. The one down side of being a party monster was the after party, a.k.a. clean up. Considering it was rarer than a hillbilly in wallstreet for Wren to actually be tired enough for sleep, she cracked her knuckles. "Let's get down to business." She then did a couple karate moves in the air while singing, "TO DEFEAT THE HUNS!!" Wren laughed at her own joke, dabbing at the fake tears. "Right? Right?" She looked around and her grin quickly faded. "Oh... Right, I'm alone."

The Next Morning...

Wren spent a majority of the night cleaning up the mess left from the party. With as much as she hated the clean up you'd think she'd stop throwing parties, but that was never the case. By 4 a.m. she was finished. Contemplating what do for the remainder of the evening she made her way over to her book shelf and started fingering through its contents. She knew every book on the shelves and read them all at least 10 times through. All the books had cracked spines, loose pages and looked like they were over a century old. But Wren refused to replace them because the wear just showed her love for them.

While fingering over the spines trying to find the night's winner she stopped upon a peculiar title. She grinned to herself as she tore it from the shelf and made her way over to her desk. Wren dug through her drawers until she found a piece of paper, a pen and... An empty red gift bag? "What the-?" She held the bag while looking up, "Well played 'oh majestic author'... Well played."

After scribbling a message in her almost illegible handwriting, Wren put the note under the cover of the book then shoved the book into the bag. She then headed out of her penthouse and down to Christian's. She wasn't going to knock or anything. Wren wasn't wanting to bug him but wanted to make up for half dragging him to a party he didn't want to go to in the first place.

She stopped outside his door and set the bag on the ground. Inside... a very worn copy of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and inside a note that read... "Can I call you Dr. Jekyll?" Signed, "That annoying red head who doesn't understand personal boundaries." Wren was never very good at apologies. She hoped that this would get a chuckle out of him and not make him hate her more. But this was just how she was.

After leaving the shitty idea of an apology in front of his door, Wren decided not to go back to her penthouse. Instead she made her way down to one of the simulation rooms and decided to train, work out or whatever else she could do to make the time pass.

Frankie was up before the sun was. She honestly didn't know if she ever actually fell asleep or more of tossed and turned in her bed. She didn't know why the events of the prior evening were getting to her so much. But finally she couldn't handle it anymore and got out of bed.

For months she had been working on an equation to figure out the exact last moment she could release her webbing to save herself from a fall. Her father didn't approve of this, with good reason. He thought that experimenting with something like this could end badly for her if she miscalculated. But Frankie was determined to find the solution thinking it could help her, her father and Anansi in sticky situations.

Finally, Frankie thought she found the answer and programed her watch with the equation so that it would use her altitude, acceleration, velocity and gravitational pull to give her a to the millisecond count down of how long she had to deploy the web. This included the time it takes for the webbing to release from the shooters, fly through the air and grip onto a surface above her. But like any good equation it wasn't good until proven accurate with an experiment... And Frankie has always been a little more reckless than her father.

Frankie found her way to the top of the Descendant Tower. She methodically checked her watch while bouncing back and forth on her feet while shaking her hands. "You got this!" She checked her pulse while jogging in place. "It's just like any other jump." She continued taking deep breaths trying not to psych herself out. "Oh for heaven's sake!" Without anymore hesitation she sprinted towards the edge and dove off.

She brought her wrist before her as she fell. Her gaze continuously shifting between the watch and the quickly approaching ground. The digital read out showing... 10... 9... 8... 7...

Enzo slept well past what was probably acceptable and he didn't care. Well that was until J.A.R.V.I.S. decided to make an alarmingly annoying announcement at 10:30 a.m. which Enzo deemed way too early for such disturbances.

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Mr. Stark and Mr. Wayne wanted me to inform you that you all were given a day of leisure in preparation for the anniversary ball tomorrow evening. You are permitted to travel to town, train or do whatever it is that you all do with your free time. They also wanted me to notify you all that every student, even those who missed the simulation or failed are allowed to attend the dance. Those who previously were not permitted to go will simply be on clean up duty when the festivities have concluded. Enjoy your free day."

Maybe it was the mention of a free day that made Enzo get out of bed or the simple fact that the annoying program already disrupted him beyond fixing. Either way he was in no mood to even get dressed at the time being. He simply walked out of his apartment in just his pajama pants, no shoes or shirt and made his way to the elevator. Once he was on it, he pressed the button for the mess hall level before yawning and slipping his hands in his pockets.

When he arrived in the cafeteria area, Enzo walked towards the buffet still yawning and scratching his bare muscular abdomen. "Any new sad excuses for food?" He looked towards the woman who worked the food counter. She seemed unfazed and emotionless like a statue. No doubt she was more than used to statements like that from Enzo. Sure he could cook his own food in his room but that took effort, so instead he came down here and bitched to the people who dealt with shit heads like him on a regular basis.

"Yeah... Arsenic." She said with a monotonic voice before handing him a plate of his usual breakfast of an omelette and bacon.

"Delicious." Enzo scoffed before grabbing an orange juice and making his way to a table. He probably would have died laughing if there was actual arsenic in his food. They all were too valuable to throw away by poisoning them... Even if they were dicks.

Julia sat up the whole night reading her books, not even looking up once for the whole 6 hours she was reading. She put her book down simply to grab a cup of red berry infused green tea and ran a bath, which would be ready to hop into before the sunrose and then she could watch the sunrise whilst relaxing in a bubblebath and listening to some soft indie music. As the sun rose, Julia let herself sink into the hot water and soft bubbles.

Having spent half an hour soaking in the bath, Julia decided to get up and get ready for the day, heading for her wardrobe she quickly picked out a new outfit for the day and changed into it, before working on her make up and hair. Just as she finished with her make up, J.A.R.V.I.S made the announcement of the free day and she rolled her eyes before grabbing her phone and sending a very passive aggressive message to her father about making her miss class when they could have had a full day together, she didn't expect him to reply but she needed him to know how much of an idiot he was.

Julia the let out a sigh at the realisation she'd have to go get a dress for the dance and she quickly sent a text to some of the girls.
{to: Frankie; Astrid; Kallistrate; Lindsey; Petra}
{Need to go dress shopping, ASAP. Please tell me I'm not going alone! :(}

With the message sent, Julia had a look online at a few styles she'd like to go in, she had the colour in her head just not the style.

Mathias slept like he usually did after he'd gotten a few drinks into his system, peaceful and still, and his sleep was disturbed by that of J.A.R.V.I.S. announcing the scheduled free time and the opportunity to go to the dance, Mathias rolled his eyes even though his eyelids remained closed. Jarvis, what have I said about unimportant announcements before I'm awake?"
"Not to announce them, sir." The AI replied. "However, Mister Stark flagged this as an important message." Mathias' nose flared several times as he resisted the urge to shout at the AI, he simply gritted his teeth before dismissing him.

Sliding out of his bed, Mathias grabbed a pair of men's running leggings, a men's tank top and some trainers, quickly changing before snatching his phone off the counter and heading for the lift and heading for the canteen. In the canteen, he grabbed some porridge and some fruit before taking a seat and did his best to eat the breakfast in an acceptable speed, if he ate too fast he might get cramps if he over exerted in the training room and if he ate too slow he'd end up not going to the training room. He noticed Enzo, still in his pyjamas, he gave him a friendly nod before returning his dishes to the stacks.

He made his way to the simulation rooms and entered the control room, entering in the simulation himself and also connecting his phone to the speaker system and playing some music into the simulation room. Setting the difficulty of the simulation to a somewhat high setting, he sighed, mentally preparing himself for the challenge he was setting, but he felt the need to release some pent up frustration and ensure that missing out on yesterday's test wouldn't hinder him in the field.

Stepping into the room, the door sealed behind him and would remain sealed until Mathias had sufficiently trained or J.A.R.V.I.S had deemed it too dangerous. Mathias had selected a simple training routine, mobs of enemy combatants in waves. He stepped into the centre of the room and let the simulation begin, the room then filled with some thugs, who drew their weapons, whether it was a gun or a baseball bat or a chain, Mathias simply clenched his fists and taunted the fake thugs. "Hey nice chain, you like the slings, huh?" Mathias winked as the thug swung the chain at Mathias, who calmly and effortlessly skipped over it. "Oh come on, is your boyfriend that bad at being a submissive?" Mathias then launched himself into the air and wrapped his leg around the thugs throat before swinging his body around and flooring the thug, who he then launched into the air with a pocket of sound and as he got closer, Mathias prepared to kick him, surrounding his foot with the pink energy that launched the thug up and with just the right timing, Mathias kick launched him into one of the thugs armed with a gun.

"Seriously? I selected a hard difficulty."
"This is not a game, Master Gold." J.A.R.V.I.S reminded him and Mathias sighed.
"Well at least make them attack me more than one at a time." Mathias heard a sigh over the intercom and then 3 of the thugs charged him. Mathias covered himself in the pink armour and deflected a steel baseball bat with his hand before kicking the thug in the groin and taking his bat off him, which he then discarded anyway. With one thug, temporarily incapacitated, Mathias spun around to be meet with a punch in the face, the punch forced him backwards and he nearly tripped over the hunched over thug, but instead he managed to back flip over him, manipulating the armour to bring his body fully over and then he resumed a fighting position. The two thugs then rounded their friend and charged Mathias, who formed two chakra out of pure sound and the engaged the pair. He threw punches and kicks as well as using his elbows and knees to knock the pair back. Just as Mathias was getting into it, the simulation shut down and Mathias was left standing in an empty training room.
"This training room is for official practise only!" Someone shouted over the intercom. "Get out of their before I report you to Mr Coulson and Mr Pennyworth." Mathias squinted to try and get a look at whoever was shouting at him but he couldn't see them so he simply made his way to the exit and grabbed his stuff from the lockers just outside the door.

Mathias then returned to his penthouse and got changed into something a bit more stylish than sweats or training gear, looking through his wardrobe he knew he had no need to go and buy anything fancy for the dance, he had a suit and some fancy shoes so he wasn't about to go out and spend some more money on something he was only going to wear once. He had half a mind to go see Kain, but that thought quickly faded as the heat rose to his cheeks and he shook his head at his own thought. He then sighed as he realised he may have had very little to do that day and it was at that point he established if someone asked him to do something, he'd do it simply to get out of the apartment.

_____Sleep wasn't something Kallistrate got a lot of, or even needed for that matter. Chalk it up to her heritage or just some weird trait, but she never really minded it either way. So ,naturally, one would find it weird to hear light snoring coming from underneath an old BMW in the basement garage of the building. To her defense, these sliding benches were super comfortable and strangely supportive considering they were built to help the mechanic work on the underside of the vehicle. Training was also rough on her and despite not having any visible injuries, even super heroes get tired.
So there she lay, peaceful and still in the longest sleep she's taken in a while even though it's only been about 6 hours. But, as they say, what goes up must come down.
In the back of her mind she only just barely registered something pushing against her foot, not knowing it was one of the men that actually owned the building who also had a penchant for being as annoying as possible. Before the slight movement could even break through her sleep-addled brain, screeching vocals and guitar of what she now perceived as music instead of the devil himself pierced it much quicker. Her head shot up and made a solid thunk on the transmission. She couldn't help a small grunt at the ringing in her ears and the grogginess she wasn't used to. As gently as possible she cracked her eyes and found them meeting a pain of human feet and the bottom end of a semi-annoying but adorably clumsy AI metal arm. She stifled anther groan and merel settled for a sigh as she slowly rolled out from under the car, squinting at the bright lights, only to see Tony Stark with him arms folded (sarcastically of course), looking down on her.
"Late night?"
Her head was still fuzzy but she managed to force her body into a standing position without looking like a newborn giraffe. She brushed off her sweatshirt and yawned into her fist before answering,
"Yeah...You could say that. I was more tired than I thought.", she touched her forehead and hissed at the bump she could feel forming. Of course it would disappear just as quickly, but she wasn't completely impervious to pain, "Music was a tad unnecessary though."
Tony scoffed and smirked that smirk everyone knows and loves(hates), "I humbly disagree. You youngsters need a good wake up call every once in a while. I'm not surprised you were so tired though, I'd be too if I landed the star role in the real world reenactment of Jaws. No one's ever had to accuse SHEILD of a bit of sadism here and there though. They have no shame in admitting it."
Kallistrate sent him a look that said 'I don't like you but I agree with you.' before walking past the metal arm to the radio on the workbench that was still screeching and ceremoniously flipped it off. She turned around and ran fingers through her messy curls before simply throwing them on top of her head and strapping them down.
["I'm assuming I'll see you at the dance? In appropriate attire of course."
Kallistrate looked down at her phone at precisely the right time to answer that question given the text she received from Julia.
' Need to go dress shopping, ASAP. Please tell me I'm not going alone! :( '
She decided she better act fast since it seems as it seems she'd slept the day away.
To: Julia Constantine
That sounds fine. I don't think I have any dresses anyway. Meet you in Cafeteria.
She placed the phone back in her back pocket and closed the lid back on her vehicle.
"It certainly seems as though you will. See you there."
"Likewise Wonder Girl"...she let that one slide.
She went as quickly as she could going about getting semi-presentable. Her hair was tamed and she picked out a simple outfit. Truth was she had no clue what one was supposed to wear to try on formal dresses. Was she supposed to make up her face and hair like she would at the event for decision purposes? Did it matter? At this point, she was so late she honestly didn't have time to care so she left her face bare as usual and her hair large and wavy and set off to the cafeteria.
There were some people already mulling about when she got there, so she decided it was best to get her normal breakfast, plain oatmeal and an apple, and sit near Julia.
"Sorry I overslept. I can see I'm not too late though." She smiled slightly and tried to quickly eat her food.

Julia was taken off guard when Theodore agreed to going to the shops with them, even if he made it sound more like a last choice chore than a fun day out, but she merely rolled her eyes, even though his comment on convincing Kumiko seemed somewhat appropriate, Julia would leave that to Lindsay. "Oh so you want us to take your advances as compliments, gotcha!" She teased Theodore about his remark, but then she got serious. "And we can't leave until we find Kumiko anyway. So chill, we have the whole day. But we won't spend the whole day shopping." Her words were more of a reassurance for him and Alex. With a quick glance at her phone, she smiled at Kallistrate agreed to join them and looked up to the rest of them with the smile still there. "Also Kallistrate is coming, so we need to wait on her."

Julia then spotted Kallistrate entering the cafeteria and tried to smile at her, but with the growing group around her, she wouldn't have expected her to see her. So she opted to waiting until Kallistrate joined them at the table to greet her with the smile. Julia shook her head in response to Kallistrate's worries over being late and watched as she dug into her food. "Wow, Kalli chill. We're not going to leave for awhile anyway, you have time to eat without rushing, I'm not." She popped a strawberry into her mouth to emphasis the lack of need to rush and also probably to tease Theodore's impatience, but after popping the strawberry in she wondered when the teasing might turn into just plain annoyance and just push all the wrong buttons.

"You knew that would hurt, didn't you?" Ichabod responded with a shrug as he ate. "I just happen to have perfect timing." Mathias had squinted his eyes at him though Ichabod gave no response to it as he calmly ate his breakfast waiting for his next comment. "And who's the most eligible bachelor?" If Mathias was expecting a conceited answer, he wasn't getting one from Ichabod who piped up in between bites. "Why Bane of course... One word out of him and it's suddenly like he was angel sent from the heavens if you believe in that divine bullshit." He shrugged an took another bite spilling out some gossip like it wasn't even important to him. "He's supposedly going with Alex Todd to the dance though you'll find out in moments if you keep listening in on that conversation." Ichabod smirked at him.

Ichabod then finally took the time to answer Mathias's comment that had followed his question earlier once he was finished with his breakfast. He laced his fingers together and propped his elbows up onto the table as he spoke. "I've found in my studies that it's nearly impossible for a man to go without sex. Even I can't resist it's call." It was next to impossible to tell whether or not Ichabod was trying to crack a joke at this moment. "Also the girlish conversation, might either result in another Natchios/Bullseye stabbing, or some insight into why Theodore is all of a sudden very popular, obviously no offence to him." Ichabod had turned around to look at the tables seemingly unamused. "Well the stabbing has a high probability and the reasoning for Theodore's popularity is simple." Ichabod spun back around to face Mathias. "People desire what they perceive as unattainable... Along with the cliche bad boy."

Nathaniel still felt horrible as he forced himself out of his room. He still wished he hadn't said yes to Alex but he wasn't going to go back on a promise he made to a friend. That kiss meant nothing to them anyways of course... Right? Right, of course it didn't. They were just friends and lab partners and Alex wasn't into guys like that so it was all fine. Nathaniel somehow found his way into the cafeteria after being lost in thought. He scanned the room and noticed Enzo and Junior bickering like an old married couple. There was someone else watching them and it was a bit odd. Nathaniel had never seen her before and he felt uncomfortable with the way she was staring at Junior like he was some sort of saint. At least it gave him an excuse to avoid that table until Junior beckoned him sooner or later and approach Alex. He tapped her shoulder and grunted a greeting in his typical fashion. "Hey."

"Okay, honey. What's your favourite colours to wear? Also who's your date and we shall buy him a tie to match while we're out." Alex was genuinely surprised at how easy that was. Julia flicked her wrist to make a credit card appear in her hand and responded before Alex opened her mouth. "And when I say I'm paying, I mean grandaddy dearest." Alex smirked in response as she took the card. "It seems you know the way to my heart, princess." She teased.

Julia went on to address the other members of the table while Alex finally answered Lindsey's question from earlier. "Yes, Kari..." She purposely used the family nickname. "For once in my life I want your help." Just then a massive shadow appeared looming over Alex. She almost jumped in her seat. Almost. "Hey." He grunted at her which only caused her to roll her eyes. "Speaking of dates...." She spun in her seat to face him. "Mine finally decided to show up for dress shopping."

Junior had laughed when Enzo decided to threaten him with a fork between his fingers just as Kain decided to leave. Junior didn't take the threat as seriously as any sane man should have. "Do it... I wanna see if it tickles." Another laugh as Enzo had taken a seat once more after throwing out his food. "Where's your brutish minion? That one hates me nearly as much as he hates you?" Junior of course had a response lined right up for his comment just as Bane decided to make his presence known in the cafeteria.

"Speak of the devil and the devil shall come." Junior grinned and pointed towards Bane as he walked over to Alex and her dysfunctional group of wannabe heroes. "Such a shame for those two... Bane could actually do better." He laughed when finally decided to address what he noticed before. "But it seems I may have found another little minion." He waved at the girl who had been staring at him practically calling he rover to them.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Frankie was such a terrible liar with Freddie. "Frankie you're my only friend and we basically grew up together. It'd be blasphemy if I didn't know when you were lying or how obviously into that brute you are." He ended it with a light hearted smile as he put a hand on her shoulder just as she changed the conversation to something more upbeat. "Let's go. I need a dress, haven't quite decided if I wanna try to turn everyone's heads or blend into the crowd. But yours will be simple... a Tux with a tie that matches my dress."

Freddie sighed as he gave his two cents on the dress. "I'm gonna vote turn everyone's heads on this one." She was already out the door when he spoke and turned around to make another comment. "And a shave... You need a shave." Freddie rubbed the beard that was starting to form and scoffed at her. "I thought girls liked the rugged look... And some guys too." He laughed and gave her a wink. Frankie was probably the only one he'd ever at like this around.

A girl was waiting right outside of his room that he barely recognized and assumed was friends with Frankie. She was the social one of their duo after all. Freddie greeted her with a simple nod and hands tucked into his pockets.

"Oh so you want us to take your advances as compliments, gotcha!"

Theodore merely rolled his eyes at Julia. She's quite the teaser and normally that wouldn't matter to him but if she's gonna act like that all day then it's going to get old real quick. "And we can't leave until we find Kumiko anyway. So chill, we have the whole day. But we won't spend the whole day shopping." Theo nodded, "Yeah...I hope." He muttered. "Also Kallistrate is coming, so we need to wait on her." Not too soon after she said it, Kallistrate did appear. "Just how many people do you need to go dress shopping with?" Theo rhetorically asked.

He wasn't sure what he was getting himself into. Obviously the lack of urgency was grating on Theo's patience, and Julia certainly wasn't making anything better. Perhaps he should just bow out now before it's too late. As he considered it he did think about the repercussions of bowing out, he'll probably get an earful from the girls around him. After all he is their only male opinion. Well at least he thought he was. Looming over them like a tower, Nathaniel Bane arrived and gave a single utterance to alert the others to his presence, as if simply standing there wasn't enough.

"Hey." He grunted at her which only caused her to roll her eyes. "Speaking of dates...." She spun in her seat to face him. "Mine finally decided to show up for dress shopping."

Theo looked over to Alex and with an accusatory stare and said, "A male opinion huh?" He then just shook his head.

Shaking, Christian was easily manipulated by Wren into sitting down. His stare was distant as if he was off in another world far away from him. He didn't seem to notice anyone, not even Wren as she touched him. He sat there, lost within some great void left behind by the Symbiote. Also the medicine does have spaciness as a side-effect, it especially hits him if he misses a dosage. The only thing that brought him out of his lull was the sound of Wren's voice. "Drink." Christian finally looked over to her as his hands, shakily, took the glass of water.

Obviously his coordination suffered some spilling a good deal of water on himself. Still he managed to get some liquid down his throat as he began to cough. As she touched his knee, Christian looked over to her to see her smile. "You tell Mr. Hyde that he better play nice or he'll have to deal with me." Christian nodded slowly in response. "T-Thank you." He stuttered. "W-Wren!" He suddenly spoke up. "W-Will you go to the dance with me? I-I want someone to go with, and you're the only one I-I can think to ask."

Julai chuckled at Alex's reaction to the credit card she had just been handed, "Well, damn, I guess I've just stolen anyone else's chances. Don't worry, Nathy, I'll look after her." Julia teased, acknowledging the giant's presence with warmth rather than the coldness some other Gotham kids might have.

Julia turned her attention back to Theodore as he addressed her, she got a mixed surge of emotions, nearly overwhelming, but the surge was short lived, but it was still enough to startle her, she wasn't even quite sure if she reacted visibly in front of the others, she knew her eyes probably bulged from her head and her lips released an escaped gasp, but whether or not she physically tensed, she couldn't know unless someone asked.

She then focused back on Theodore, pushing the event to the back of her head. "I'm not going to torture you all day, it can make torture pretty boring if you do it 24/7." She gave him a smile followed by an eye roll at his rhetorical question which she was going to answer, regardless of if he wanted an answer or not. "It helps to suss out the competition for the award of best dressed." She give him a playful wink with a sweet smile and small shrug. She then looked over her shoulder at the Demented Duo, who were joined by a new girl, the girl with similar energies to the ones that surged throughout her body not long ago. Quickly turning her head back to the group, she gave a smile to the group and lightly clapped for attention. "Shall we head for town now?"

Having pondered on the subject of going alone, he'd grown curious as to who Ichabod was taking and even pipped up the question. "And who are you taking to the dance?" He tilted his head with a playful smirk. "As one of said bad boys, you must have a line of adoring fans." As he sat facing the entrance to the cafeteria, he found it very hard to miss the pink haired beauty who floated her way into the cafeteria. He was aware of how little friends she had and felt sorry for her, he'd try his best to be nice to her but in team exercises or any sort of power testing, she would be completely nonnegotiable or unwilling, it gave him a disdain for her but he wouldn't say he hated her, more her work ethic, but that didn't stop his bitchy comment. "I'm sure Tianna has a shared interest."
