The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 7 authors
Meredith nodded and smiled that Connor wasn't all... Death-like anymore. "Wait a second... Redlin,Wann,Sirdet. Three of the Four provinces. Do any of you know of a wind Mage, with gold eyes, from Terola?" She stretched her arm and took a bite of her meat. " I say we figure out a weakness of this elf... In case he has bad motives. "Connor, how did you knock him down?" She mainly had herself focused on offense, not defense. That was her nature.
KING GLACIES
The King was pacing again when he called to the Guards. " Di they have the supposed member of the Four?" He asked impatiently. The Guard nodded, silent as ever, he then made a noise to another guard who took Off in the opposite direction. About a half hour later, the Guards burst in with an old mage.Old mage?He snapped and they brought him up. "What is your name?" he asked and the man jut looked at him. A mute. That was helpful. His mouth flipped into a frown. His eyes were gold, just a pale translucent one. "He is a Mage? He whispered to the guards. One nodded. He snatched up The man's hand and saw a bit of fire dance around his fingertips. The king truly did not know if hewas a Four or not. He picked up the now three descriptions( Mages had been attacked by a Mel wind Mage with golden eyes. No, the remaining one was a girl. "he is not a Four... But kill him anyways. No fire Mage will come near me."
This boy was his favourite by far- he was more reserved than the others and like Arion himself. If he had a purpose, he seemed to stick to it as the elf had observed in the past few days as he traversed Calor in search of the Four. He knew he had an interesting hero in his hands, but variety was good wasn't it?
"Naveah," the elf called gently while walking towards him. "You look as if you've lost something." The elf stopped and looked the boy directly in the eyes. "Of course, not all lost things are found. But which do we remember more- what is lost or what is found?"
"We remember those things which we find for they have the potential to become lost again," Naveah replied to the question Arion had asked. "I'm assuming you've been searching for me, how else would you know my name?"
Naveah grip tightened around his sword, but he did not feel any malice from this elf, merely a want to complete a mission. He couldn't help but feel as if this elf would lead him to something he may be looking for. His golden eyes shimmered as he examined the elf in front of him. He was at least four or five years his senior which only made Naveah eager to know who this elf was and how he knew who he was.
"So what brings you to Terola wandering warrior?" Naveah asked.
Meredith stared at Connor with wide eyes. Did he just use... Frost magic? "Connor... She whispered. "What is your magic, be truthful... Please." She noticed Connor get stiff as she glanced at Cassie. She seemed peacefully oblivious to the drama. She was lucky she could simply tune things out. She summoned a bit of water that she pooled around her fingers. It turned a rusty brown with the dirt from the cave. She imagined that was what her brain looked like as she tried to piece together the puzzle. What would have happened if she hadn't flipped out at the party. Had stayed and pretended to enjoy herself. This was certainly more exciting. Yet.. Was it better?
KING GLACIES
The evil Frost King was studying the pictures of The Four. The only similarity is their aggravating eyes. Wait, maybe there was something about their eyes, a connection of some sort! He brought out his spectacle and peered. Nothing... Just gold eyes. He sighed and looked at them maybe he needed the other girl's description. He needed a more advanced search in Sirdet. "Guards! Send the assassins A message to more thoroughly search Sirdet.
Meredith stared at Connor, sIlently. She had to discreetly pinch herself to keep from crying. Her mother was dead to... Just not as horribly as Conner's had. She was truly an emotional girl, but she was wrapped in thick layer of protectiveness. Only a few people knew her without her tough exterior. "I'm sorry." she pushed out "My mother is dead to... From a disease" She took out a small, gold ring that was slung around her neck by a white string. "This was hers" she said. Meredith turned to Cassie. "Have you ever lost anyone... That you love?" she whispered.
KING GLACIES
The King was at an execution. For whom? The small minded wart a.k.a Frederick Andonfall. He was a traitor. King Glacies never would have guessed it, Frederick was always weak and needy. But no, he was withholding information. Clear treason. The information was about a certain elf. Frederick had heard that Arion was determined at Bringing together the Four. Idiot. He might have caught those Four if Frederickhad told him. So here he sat, looking up at Frederick. His short body had tone given a stool so that he he could reach the hanging rope. Frederick whimpered as the king stood next to the lever that would end his pitiful life. " Goodbye" King Glacies calmly said. Before Frederick could respond, the king pushed the lever and that traitorous Mage was dead.
( argh I double posted! :( )
Cassie listened to the other two mages stories, eyes wide and freely rimmed with tears. She had never been through anything as tragic as Connor, or Meredith for that matter. Though she wasn't exactly welcomed into the warmest of households at least her parents were alive.
"Have you ever lost anyone... That you love?" Meredith whispered to her, and Cassie just looked at the ground.
"I don't really know what love is I don't think. I've never left my village and there I'm not exactly welcome. Even my parents would rather do without me... Oh, but you both-" She broke off as she hiccuped, a result from trying to keep her sobs subdued. "I'm so sorry for what you've been through."
Cassie was a deep girl. Though she was very absent minded, she cared about other people, and right now, she was very upset for her two fellow captives.
(Sorry I've been and am pretty busy :/ )
"You are correct in saying that I have been searching for you. Why though I cannot tell you until you meet a few friends of mine." Arion chuckled again at the mention of his so called 'friends'. "They are waiting for us at my home- in the center of Calor. If you do not come willingly, I will be forced to take extreme offensive measures to ensure that you come with me."

Meredith shook her head. "I don't think killing him is the answer." she spoke thoughtfully " I want to see why he brought us here..." She messed with her blue hair. It was filled with tangles from her fight. She bet she looked a mess. " iIdidn't have a real encounter with the elf, but he does not seem like he wants to hurt us. Only to bring us here." She drew out her puzzle in the dirt. "Let's see. Presumably four people. Two girls and two boys. All from different provinces. All with gold eyes and element magic. Kidnapped by an elf" She looked down in puzzlement. Nothing was clicking. Cassie and Connor were looking excpectantly at her, but she didn't know the answer. Nothing. Meredith washed away the damn thing with some water before standing up. She jogged over to the wall and heard a faint buzzing noise. As she peered through the vibrating wall, she realized the darkness of the sky. It was getting late. "Cassie, Connor. It's late." she faintly realized how tired she was. Her bones were achy and her head still spinning. "Connor, could you possibly make a bed out of plants?" she chuckled.
(i'm too lazy too write a King Glacies post >.<)
"There is no need for hostility nor blind threats. I will go with you solely by choice, but I warn you if this is some sort of trick....." Naveah began as the wind suddenly picked up. Dust and debris lifted into the air around them, Naveah's eyes shimmering as he glared at the elf. In a blur of movement Naveah had unsheathed the sword and slashed the air, sending a current straight passed Arion, striking a boulder before dissipating.
At first it seemed as if nothing had happened, as if Naveah was simply playing with the wind, but when Naveah smirked, the boulder fell into two pieces and that was when Naveah sheathed his sword and nodded, "I trust I've made myself clear? Let us go as I'm sure the King will be searching for the one responsible for the untimely death of his magi."

Meredith gasped at the beds he had so simply made. "wow... That was amazing" she breathed. She ran and hopped into the rose bed. Hmm. Even smells like roses. She tucked herself under the covers before calling Goodnight to her fellow captives. She then sent a gush of water to extinguish the fire, leaving them in darkness. She slowly settled into a peaceful sleep... Before her troublesome dreams interrupted her. The frost king! And blood... So much blood on her hands. Was she responsible?
KING GLACIES
King Glacies was pleased to hear that they had received his papers. He quickly read the letter back to him. They hadn't made much progress at all. The king was not patient. He sighed and faintly noticed the letter was in Arian's handwriting. Seryith never was one for literature. He was the more... Uncaring of the two. Meaning he had no feeling towards his victims. Arian was another story. She sympathized them. He had tried to break her out of that, to no avail. He wondered if he should have put them together. They might get distracted, after all, Seryith had a weakness for beautiful women, and Arian certainly was one. Hopefully they would complete the task.
"I don't want to kill him either," Cassie agreed. "He didn't harm us after all."
She watched Connor create three plant beds at Merediths request, jaw dropping slightly in awe. With a wave of her hand their small campfire disappeared, but that made the cave much to dim for Cassie's tastes. She set up two orbs of fire in the highest corners of the cave, using a plasma-like technique of Fire magic that would allow them to stick there without danger of falling. She then jumped up and walked over to where Connor had made the beds.
"The flowers are your guys'es beds decide who get's who okay ?"
"I want the rose!" Cassie immediately chirped, drawn to the crimson color. She sat on the edge of the bed hesitantly, then drew up her legs and reclined in it. "I'm going to stay up awhile and think. But Meredith, if you wake up and smell something burning, don't hesitate to splash a bit of water over here, okay? I set myself and my bed on fire sometimes while I sleep, depending on my dream..." She quickly realized that made her sound unstable and waved her arms innocently above her head. "I mean, it's totally under control if I wake up, and It's never that big, I just wouldn't want it to spread, as we're all rather close."
With a sigh Cassie settled down, trying to clear her mind so she wouldn't have any avid dreams. Usually her uncanny spurts of fire resulted from her imagination getting her excited or scared, and her body would naturally create fire to counter that. No worries if she stayed calm though. Calm, calm calm, totally calm, though Cassie wondered if the elf would come back while they were sleeping.
Probably with the forth of their little group, if Meredith was right about one from every province. A male air mage, again if she were right. What could the elf want with them?
Perhaps he worked for a witch and she needed control over the elements to curse the land, resulting in a tragic battle between the witch and the Frost King, and-
Woah. Cassie shook her head, turning over onto her side.
So much for trying to keep her imagination calm. Cassie decided to stay awake and stare at the wall of energy imprisoning them. Better not to risk igniting her flower bed in flames. That might be a little insulting to Connor.
Meredith was already fast asleep in the daisy bed. Her dreams had slowed down to her riding a horse In a field. She saw her house, peaceful. Then frost slowly began to cover the house, then field, then her horse. Finally, the deadly frost covered her entire body. She could Only manage a scream. She shot up in her daisy bed, sweating like crazy. "Ah..." she softly spoke. She saw everyone else asleep. She put her head back on the pillow and fell into a deep sleep. A dreamless
(Sorry for short post)
The sun was beginning to set and they needed to get back to the others soon. He simply did not trust those three alone in his home. For all he knew, it was completely destroyed (though it was beyond him how they would get past the energy wall) and he would return to find all of his work lost. All he wanted to was to help these Four and the rest of Calor.
After a few minutes of walking, he spoke without turning to face his companion. "Many of these frost magi have died, but an equal balance requires one to live and one to die... or vice versa. Choose the right one."
After the elf finished, Naveah looked at him and simply sighed.
"I know not what it is you are asking of me elf. Explain!"
Meredith awoke when small bits of light shined through the electric wall. She opened her eyes and sat up. Cassie and Connor were still asleep. Quietly, she stepped out of bed and tiptoed over to the door. It was definitely morning. She washed her face with a bit of water before starting to stretch. Suddenly, she got a devilish idea. She creeped over to Connor and concentrated as she formed a little cloud right over his head. She ran and got back in bed. Before the cloud started to rain on his head. He woke with a start. Meredith couldn't help but giggle a bit.
( I'm not going to write a King post unless I need to from now on)
"There are more ways to travel then by foot, and I am sure you know of what I speak," Naveah stated as the wind began to whip up around them. There was a loud howling sound before the two were picked up and carried along in the caress of the mighty wind. They were going excess of a hundred miles an hour, zooming over the land beneath them and cutting their traveling time down significantly. Before long the two had arrived in Calor and the wind gently set them down upon the ground in front of the place which held the other three.
Naveah looked at Arion before taking a step forward.
"Well, this is rather interesting, a home within a cave in the center of Calor," Naveah said softly, "shall we go in? It is your home after all, and I dare not barge in without your approval first."
