"Nice to meet you Michael, Peridot Birthstone of August. Birthstone of September...same stone as my namesake, Sapphire." her smile widened at the joke.


"Nice to meet you as well, it's also great to have mad friends such early on." He smiled and then turned to Yeo-reum who was eyeing down the tea before casually taking a sip as if it was cold juice.

"Ah! It is hot!"

Michael attempted to hold back a laugh by using his long sleeves to cover his mouth but it only worked for about five seconds. He let out a soft chuckle before apologizing. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have laughed."

"I should probably also apologize to everyone for making the scene at dinner." she thinks for a moment, "Even Miss Poor Little Victim Me." she looks at both of them thinking, "Then maybe we could wander the grounds. I've never stayed at a place this big before. I'm kind of a small place person. We could talk. Get to know each other better."

"It's fine, I think most of us SORT OF understand what happened but if you wish to apologize just o get it off your conscience I understand as well. Also getting to know this place and each other is a brilliant idea, I also wish to see what exotic flora Aquamarine has here."

Yeo-reum starts for the other room to apologize but stops. "You know. I can apologize later. Why don't we walk the grounds together? I think it will help me...us get to know each other better and feel more comfortable with each other and the place." she looks at Michael, "It's okay to laugh. It was pretty stupid of me to drink it so fast. I was distracted. So go ahead and laugh." Yeo-reum remembers one more thing, "Oh... and just so you know, Sapphire can be a little clumsy and... just so you're not caught unaware, I sometimes forget things and I have a wee bit of a temper. I know that surprises you." Yeo-reum says laughing

Mary couldn't repress a sigh of relief at being handed the rose. It probably wasn't directly tied to her life-force or anything, but she still didn't feel like finding out that it was.

"That is puzzling." That was all Mary could think to say on the subject of perception of time and omniscient future friends. Quickly moving to a subject that didn't endanger her sanity Mary addressed his question. "I'd love to join everyone for diner."

Devan smiled. "Alright. Just take my hand and we can shadow travel there." He said. At least she isn't trying to kill me, or Ib. Devan thought. Then he realized something. He told Ib the same thing, when a fake copy of her mother came to lead her away. A flod of memories rushed through him, but only for a split second. Then he shook his head and said "Are you coming?"

Mary stepped forward hesitantly. She wasn't exactly keen on traveling through shadows. Then again, the first step toward burying the hatchet was trust. Besides, nothing was to be gained through hesitation and she did want to fit in with the others, Garry included. Nodding, Mary took his hand with a smile. "Alright, let's go."

Hopefully his ability wasn't anything like hers, otherwise this wouldn't be the most pleasant journey imaginable. Then again, her ability didn't allow for teleportation, so there it was. Mary wondered idly what the others could do. So far they seemed mostly based in darkness, though that wasn't saying much considering she only knew Garry's and her own elements.

"Alright." Devan smiled. He and Mary sank into their disappearing shadows. For about 5 seconds, everything went black. Then sounds of the dining room became distant, and it came closer and closer until...

"Done" devan announced. He stepped out of the dark corner of the room, a tiny bit dizzy from shadow traveling with his own shadow. That type of shadow travel takes more energy than using an object's shadow, especially when the process is done with another person. "Huh... I guess a few people are done..." Devan mused, at the fact that there are now less people.
