Role- Reaper of Souls, Supreme Minion of the God of Death

God (or Goddess) of - Kal Tha'los is not a God. Technically he is but a minion yet his power granted to him by his Dark Lord and by his actions makes him an equal to any Demi God. He is the Reaper of Souls. The top agent of the God of Death Ragnos and his most loyal follower.

Powers-
Demonic ShadowKal can shift into an incorporeal shadow like state in which he untouchable and phase through solid objects. His power over shadows extends to the point where he can create, control, manipulate, materialize and summon darkness in various ways. He can use this to meld into the shadows, phase through solid objects and travel vast distances quickly as an incorporeal shade. Offensively this is used by the Reaper to create shadow masses in varying forms to reach out and attack his enemies. He can even darken whole areas with his abilities casting them into pitch blackness before taking their soul. Ragnar has even managed to boost this ability to allow Kal to create minions of his own with limited intelligence to do his bidding, often times Kal will make serpent like appendages to devour the hearts of those he hunts or create demonic hell hounds to track his prey.

Nightmare Sight The Agent of the God of Death can enter your mind and lay your darkest fears out to bear. He can read your mind and learn what you fear most. He can use this to play tricks on your minds and make you go mad with the most horrible visions you can imagine. This ability is at it's most powerful under a full moon while the target sleeps.

The Chill of Death The Reaper can summon an icy cold from the underworld to freeze ones blood in their veins. His power is so complete where he can draw the warmth out of a room with ease or snap freeze it if he wishes. Kal has been known to encase his fists in spikes of ice to impale his victims on or merely flash freeze them before taking their soul to Ragnos.

Beyond these three main abilities which make him more powerful than any minion he posses titanic strength, durability and regenerative abilities as well as heightened senses which are common to most minions but are highly advanced in Kal Tha'los.

Personality

Personality- Kal Tha'Los is the servant of Ragnos and completely loyal. Knowing only to serve the Reaper ventures out into the world of Man for his master to collect souls to bring to the underworld. Uncaring and unbiased he takes the life from the good and the evil, the rich and the poor. All feel the cold hand of death when Kal Tha'los is sent for them.

Equipment

Kal possess magically forged and enchanted armor forged in the underworld by woeful souls which is nearly indestructible. His most powerful tool however is Frostmourne, an ancient weapon of Reapers past that holds a long forgotten dark power within it. The blade is always colder than the most frozen of wastelands and revels in the suffering of those whose blood is spilled on it's edge.

History

Bio-Kal Tha'los was once a great hero of men. The greatest of champions for a long forgotten Golden human kingdom of light. He marched against the forces of darkness until one fateful day. His actions caused the deaths of his father and mother as well as his beloved wife and child. Distraught and wracked with guilt the champion sought his own death but could find none skilled enough to grant him the sweet release of death. That was until he found an entrance to the underworld. Their he fought some of the darkest creatures in all of existence. Thinking he'd finally be reunited with his loved ones he was horrified when he found himself made immortal and forced into the service of the God of Death. Ragnos was amused with his search for death and opted to do him one better. His old life was washed away and in it's place was the Reaper of Souls, Kal Tha'los.

In the frozen wastelands at the edge of the world a figure sat on an icy throne. Unmoving as the icy wind howled in fury. The being was so stoic that one might think it was no being at all but some dark monument, a statue. Upon approaching however the very air around it seemed tainted and evil. It's dark essence entered your entire being and felt like a perversion of nature. Its presence chilled to the bone more deeply than the arctic fury of its surroundings. Then a crack from in the ice around the gothic creature as it's eyes flicked open. Glowing blue with a ghostly power the eyes of the Reaper of Souls once again looked on the world of men. Kal Tha'los had awakened. He had felt the presence of the once deceased Gods return to the world of the living. Never before had a soul escaped the underworld under the ever watchful gaze of his master Ragnos but these have done so. It would be the job of the Reaper to return them to the underworld. Slowly Kal Tha'los rose to his feet, his cold power radiating outward as the wind roared in salute of his new mission. The Gods have returned, and the cold hand of death would come to reclaim their souls.
