"Ugh, Just another regular day" Takuya said as he awoke, he brushed his teeth and did his usual routine, Since school is currently boring as usual, Koichi decides to just hang out around the ramen shops. For breakfast, he got a quick bite at a Japanese convenience store (7-Eleven). At Lunch, he ate some ramen at renowed ramen shop in his neighborhood. By the time it was nightfall, he was so tired, he didn't see where he was going, he stumbled to the Guggenheim museum recently built in Tokyo, Japan

The security guards were lazy at the time and by the time, Takuya found his way to the Egyptian exhibit, he saw a beautiful Egyptian sarcophagus from the 18th dynasty of Egypt. He just stared at it and said "Let's hope there's no mummy that actually like eats me alive" to himself and then he chuckled to himself

As he left the Egyptian exhibit, before Koichi arrived at the Egyptian exhibit, a security guard left a tea kettle full of hot water and probably relaxed and drank tea here. Koichi bumped into the tea kettle and hot water from the kettle spilled onto the facial area of sarcophagus.

Suddenly, a purple aura emitted from the sarcophagus and out came a female figure, Takuya trembled yet surprised at the same time

Since Koichi did not know Arabic and knew Japanese and some English here and there, he would have to deduce what Ahti said

"Um... yes, I am a man, my name? Well, it's Takuya, Takuya Sanada" Takuya said as he was touched with Ahti's hands

Koichi thought to himself "What the hell just happened, I thought mummies can't be revived or something"

"So... um...." Takuya said to Ahti, he felt nervous and shy since he didn't talk to girls before so he just slightly smiled at Ahti saying to her

"Miss, what is your name?" Takuya said to Ahti as he sat down and rubbed his tired eyes together. "God, can this day get any worse, yet another failure at meeting a girl by me" Takuya thought. He drank some water from the water fountain and just regained his composure as he just calmed down and thinking to himself "This is a dream" repeatedly

She didn't knew where she was. That was the very thought running on her head. She lightly checked herself if she had some silver coins on her person. When she noticed that she didn't have any, she tried to peek on the person standing next to her. Why will he abduct her then? Did he figured that she's one of the tribe's princesses and wanted to make a ransom with the pharaoh? She noticed the view outside and was honestly shocked when she saw different things pass by, a moving box, somewhat made from metal was moving near them. 'Will thou kill me? That is after tainting my purity? What will thy other person do then? Eat me afterwards?' She stared, obviously frightened at the young man next to her and metal box that was moving away from them. She craned her head and looked in front for some camel or a horse, but she found none. How can it continue moving if there was no one pushing it?

Then Femi heard the boy talk to her about food, and some random words like Tokyo and Japan. She actually didn't understand what he meant but once she processed the words food, she immediately perked up, her eyes shining happily. She was so hungry that she suddenly forgot her confusion and all the unnatural things happening around her. She instead focused on the thoughts of mouth watering dishes.

"Food? Will therewith be grapes?" She told him, wrapping both of her hands into one of his arms staring eagerly and directly at him. He might not be a bad person if he will give her some food. Femi was suddenly reminded of the times where her servants used to give her grapes, her favorite treat. She recalled having someone fan her continuously in order to keep her from sweating and somebody spreading a wide selection of dishes in front of her. They usually give her the food on a specific time frame and everything was followed strictly on that schedule. She stared at the sky outside and tried to look for the sun, upon seeing its direction she knew that it was still early before the lunch time. She turned to the young man beside her and studied him quietly.

((It's really frustrating, I can't compose the thy, thou sentences. >.<))

((Oh my!! I thought they were already inside the taxi. *_* I'll edit my post later.))

Femi instinctively moved away from the weird young man when he turned to touch her headdress. She glared at him silently, gently clutching the gold hair piece. Femi is not a selfish person by nature, in fact she's one of the most giving princesses out there, but one of the few things that she'd never share is allowing others to touch her headdress. It wasn't anything personal by any means, but Femi greatly treasures all her hair pieces. Her father usually gives her a new set every time he comes home from a long journey with regards to foreign trade. It was the only time that her father silently shows her without saying the words that even if he's in a faraway land, he is still thinking of her and because of this, she always does her best to take utmost care of those gifts.

Once he led her inside the moving metal, Femi immediately latched herself tightly into the chair. The fear coming back as she studied the small space. Like what she had seen before, the metal box did moved and continued to do so even without someone pulling it in front. Sorcery? She wanted to utter, but then the young man suddenly spoke "Supermarket?" She parroted him, cocking her head confusedly. Hearing the words market made her think of the marketplaces back at her home. She recalled playing around and hiding from her guards donning different cloths as a disguise. The market was a very lively place, Femi enjoys meeting new people there. They always seem to give her free grapes and other sweets. "Go to!" She added smiling widely and pointing yonder beyond a random direction, with her eyes shining happily.

Koichi smiled with Femi, "Don't confuse the taxi driver, OK"

The red taxi zoomed down the road of Tokyo, the lights and glamour were now moving images of light, people walking along the crossroads trying to get to their destinations. The taxi got down to the restaurant after a 20 minute drive to the restaurant "Kamikaze".

"100 yen, please" said the taxi driver

Koichi then gave 100 yen to the taxi driver and thanked him for the ride to the restaurant.

The restaurant had a very modern feel to it. There was the traditional Japanese feel along with the modern Italian architecture. The waiter came in and said to both Koichi and Femi "Hello, welcome to Kamikaze, how many?"

Takuya then responded "A party of two people"

The waiter then escorted Takuya to a table near the window which overlooked the lights from the highway. Takuya then signaled Femi to come sit across from him. Takuya them opened the menu and looked at his options

When the brown-haired boy led her out of the metal box after giving the 'taxi driver'- the Egyptian Princess didn't actually knew what that meant but the brown-haired man, Takuya said that she shouldn't confuse him. He had been gesturing to the large man sitting in front of them who was controlling a medium-sized wheel and Femi thought that it was him that Takuya was telling her about.

She nodded reluctantly, still fearing the moving box. She would have wanted to demand some answers from him, being used to having people at her beck and call, answering to her every whims but she still felt scared of all the unnatural things happening around her that she decided to temporarily shut up and wait for the movements to stop.

Once the metal contraption stopped, Femi stared at the black-haired boy apprehensively and waited for his next actions. He gave the other man some pieces of paper that reminded her of their monetary currency before he directed her to another unusual looking infrastructure. It looked daunting, unnatural and bizarre.

"Hello, welcome to Kamikaze, how many?" She was so busy being entranced with the new things her eyes comes across that she was shell-shocked when she came face to face with another man. Like Takuya, this man is wearing white and black clothing, totally different from the ones her father usually wears. "A party of two people", her companion responded and Femi found herself once again being led inside another daunting room. When she saw Takuya signaling for her in a chair-like thing in front of a table which seemed to be made of glass, the black-haired princess took a seat uncomfortably and stared around.

"I ask you, Shalt thou tell me where art we?" She finally asked, staring confusedly at the paper-like thing that he placed in front of her. She now looked at him with superiority, her mouth curved into a straight line and an eyebrow arched in question. She was lured by the thought of food before but the more that she stayed within his company, the more that she got bewildered and suspicious with everything.

Her surroundings looked unusual and so unfamiliar. In every corner that she turns into, she finds herself staring at something she didn't have any idea off. The last that she knew was preparing herself to sleep after another day of frolicking around the market, playing around some of the servants.

"Whence, comest thou?" She asked again, adding arrogance and haughtiness to her inquiry. She was thinking that her father shipped her into a strange land after she had fallen asleep as a lesson to the last mischief that she did on the recent council. That would be the only explanation as to why she's here in this strange land. "Hath my father ordered this from you?"

"Nay!" Femi shouted irritated.

She knew she sounded like a spoiled brat but she didn't care. The boy before her couldn't properly answer where she was and it thoroughly irked her. Here she was, waking up in a very different place with everything unusual from all that she grew up with. She wasn't aware that sorcery is existing, with all that talk that magic is naught but a fleeting illusion but how can she explain it?

The metal box moving even when no one was pushing it? What about those glass doors-imagine that glass doors! All that she knew was the glass plates and cups they had and even those were rare in her place. They mostly use goblets made out of copper!

"We're doing fine, thank you for asking" She heard him talking to another man, this one different from the one before. She didn't knew what they meant with orders or Okonimiyaki Pasta or anything else but she's fully aware she's not fine. She's lost for Cleopatra's sake! She narrowed her eyes and glared at Takuya.

Staring directly at him, she then stood up and turned to leave. "If ye won't help me, I would be taking my leave, now!" She accented her words with a deadly glare and squared her shoulders haughtily.

"Adieu!" With that she left to where they came from, figuring that was the exit, still raising her head high up while looking around.

Looking back, she was annoyed to see the brown-haired boy following her. Raising her head high up and acting like she didn't saw him, she continued walking.

She honestly don't know where she was. Everything screamed unnatural for her. She saw not one friendly face and it scared her. To the very core of her bones. Walking faster than before, she moved straight forward, hugging her arms to her body.

Unlike in Esna, the place here is much colder. Colder for her clothing and Femi can't help but feel chilled in her usual attire. She missed her servants, those that readily supply her with garments once they see her needing one. She certainly missed her father, the one who always make it a point to follow her wishes.

Hugging herself as if it would protect her from the cold, she continued stepping towards that unknown place. Her only goal for now was to leave that unknowing man and return back home. She'll try looking for someone, a port perhaps? She may have been shipped to this magical place and once she gets contact to a ship owner, a merchant if possible, she can easily get home.

Back to Esna. Back to her nosy but caring maids. Back to her father.

While remembering her father's face without her intention, her eyes started to mist, partially clouding her vision. The tears started falling, first slowly until it fell in such way that she can't control it. She stopped and slumped into the ground, not caring where she was. She just cried and sobbed out all of her frustrations.

She wished to disappear from this place. She truly want to get home and see familiar faces. She vainly pushed the tears away, knowing how foolish and ungraceful she looked. If her mother can see her right now, she'd thoroughly chastise her for crying in public.

Princesses should never show weakness in front of the others. Princesses are graceful and beautiful, that even in their moment of downfall, in moments like these, what other should only see is their strength. They should never ever show their defeat.

But she's not back at home right now. She didn't even know where she was. For all she knew she may not even be a princess in this place. Her mother and father maybe dead or dying and she won't ever know it.

She was wiping the tears away from her face, thinking that she had humiliated herself enough. Her sobbing out her poor heart in this strange land would not help her one bit. She finally decided to figure out where she was, standing from her former position when she heard it.

A loud beeping noise, it was so loud that it fully drowned the shouts of the others around her.

"Miss! Get out of the street!" Was the clearest thing she heard and before she knew it, she saw bright light coming from a dashing metal box ahead of her.

Brightness.

Naught but brightness.

That was the only thing running through Femi's mind in that span of few moments that she found herself facing the dashing metal box. She didn't knew what the problem was but as she stayed there, eyes still full of the traces of tears, that was the only thing she thought. Her surroundings seemed brighter than ever and she didn't know why.

She heard not the shouting people on the sides, nor the continuous loud sound coming from the metal itself. All that she's aware off was the seemingly never ending light that clouded her vision.

Then she felt herself being tugged forcibly, she shut her eyes. Her mind going haywire and her heart pounding uncontrollably fast. She have read about this on the books her instructors gave to her.

Adrenaline rush, she recalled.

A word she's not much familiar but it seemingly sounds perfect for this scenario. Bracing herself to whatever force that knocked her off her former position, she continued to tightly close her eyes.

"Don't worry, you're safe" After awhile, she heard someone repeatedly murmuring in her ears. She instinctively opened her jade-colored eyes and found herself face to face with the brown-haired man, Takuya.

That unknowing impetuous man whom she met on that unnatural place. The one she wanted to get away from originally. Raising a hand to touch his face, she ghosted her hands on the sides of his face, tracing his features with childlike innocence. When their eyes met, she unintentionally reddened, her jade-colored orbs diverting her gaze away from his.

Moments passed and when she assessed their situation, she can see that while he's hugging her -quite close enough than what's acceptable in fact! He was the one who tugged her forcibly off the ground, she found no other explanation as to why they are currently having this close contact. She gently removed her body from his grasp and patted her hands on her dress, standing up.

"I-I thank you", she blurted out gratefully bowing. She didn't knew what she was thanking for -and why she's actually bowing at him, she's a nobility after all. Compared to her, he looked like one of those in the market, those of middle-class or lower class but since he seemed to be terrified of what happened before she thought that it might appease him. Even if it's only little.

His words, 'safe, Don't worry, you're safe... Don't worry, you're safe... Don't worry, you're safe... Don't worry, you're safe' was continuously repeating in her mind and she found herself unfortunately, flushing red all over again.

Femi stared mutely at the hand held out in front of her. She had been looking at him, waiting until he let his hands off her face and stared at him directly. Hearing his stomach growl caused her to giggle, momentarily forgetting her earlier drama.

"Shall we eat, I don't want to keep the waiters waiting", he then said afterwards, apparently he still had their food prepared on that place they went to before. Softly wiping the traces of tears from her face, Femi lowered her head down and silently considered her options.

What she did was humiliating but she can't help it. The things have finally taken a toll on her, and the only thing that she can do is cry everything out. Finding her composure back, she turned and studied the brown-haired man closely.

She didn't know him. She certainly don't know anyone else in this land. The black-haired Egyptian princess didn't even know where she was. So checking out her choices, she knew how few it was and how lost she was. Still looking at him, quietly she finally came into a conclusion.

She have decided to come with him temporarily. If he will help her, she might find the way back home. She know naught in this foreign land and her best choice was to follow him for now.

Nodding slowly, letting not much of her reluctance show, she took his hands and gazed at him.

"Ye must promise me one thing." She started, standing and briefly letting go of his hands.

"Ye should help me come back home. I know naught in this place. I know naught why I'm here and I want to go home." Her voice was authoritative and clear, just the way she remembered her father ordering other servants or talking to the merchants that he is having a trade with.

Though she knew that he is the only one who can help her in this moment, still she had to be certain that he's not evil or planning something out of this. For now, her only purpose is to find a way back to Esna and to escape the sorcery and magic of this unusual place.

She smiled at him expectantly and waited for his answer.

((Hey, why are you calling him Koichi? Just wondering, his name is Takuya right?))

(Sorry, I'm just not feeling it today, I'm having one of the most hectic days ever, o__o)

"I promise, I don't know if I can get you back but I'll try" Takuya said

That promise that Femi said made Takuya somewhat smile. He knew that time traveling back to her era was impossible, so he decided to look into it by tomorrow. Noticing Femi's smile, he took a gentle hold of Femi's hand and he said to Femi "Come on, let's go, the both of us are hungry"

((Oh, it's ok. I'm just wondering since you somewhat addresses him as Koichi in most of your posts.(:))

Hearing him speak out his promise made her sigh in relief. Utter relief, in fact. Placing a hand over her heart, she let the apprehension ebb away together with the irritation and anger that she felt to the brown-haired man before. She had thoroughly misjudged him. He may not know not a nil on why she is here, in this strange land but still it made her obviously happy that he will do help her come back to Esna. With his help, her chance for going back home rose higher than with her doing things on her own.

He is after all the only one who had talked to her during the span of her whole stay in this place, 'What is this place anyway?', she thought wondering where she is. And he also may be the only person who can be trusted enough with everything. It had already been tiring calling this unnatural land as place or just that.. land. That she supposed it would be better to ask him so that she can have an inkling to where she is. If the black-haired girl can find a courier or postman, once she sends her father a letter then they may know what misfortune had befallen to their only single daughter left. She's certain that without fail, her father will send their men just to retrieve her.

Even the littlest thought of walking in this unnatural land alone without a familiar or friendly face in tow, deeply terrified her. She recalled the moments ago, where she saw total white clouded her vision. She never experienced that before, aside from the morning's natural light. Scenes in Esna naught resemble the brightness like that one. It had been a mystery to her, on how they were able to produce such type of lighting, whenever she would always remember the light in the palace. They use torch or lamps for sources of their lights during the every nights that made her immediately think of sorcery working at the whole of this town. .

Staring at him, a little confused with what he said, she stayed rooted to where she was. [i]"Come on, let's go, the both of us are hungry", he had told her, momentarily distracting Femi from the question that she wanted to ask of him. Silence passed for some while, with her just wondering what he meant; and him, possibly waiting for her response.

She observed her surroundings, playing with the hem of her clothing, before turning to Takuya. And while doing so, she unintentionally saw a woman carrying a pack full of grapes. The grapes was obviously fresh, and in perfect condition to be eaten. Being someone who loves grapes to pieces, Femi is quite sure that the treat the woman is holding will no doubt be delicious. She unconsciously felt her mouth watering, still lost in thought of the days when she was still with her servants.

It was also during that exact moment that she felt the undeniable hunger coming back. With her anger fading away all because of her hunger, she smiled at the person in front of her nervously.

The Egyptian princess finally realized what he meant when he said the last statement, she nodded and waited for him to direct her to that place once again. Because of her theatrics earlier, she had no mere clue to where they are currently. She had no recollection of the earlier paths that she had trodden and because of that she solely relied to his guidance to lead her back to Kamikazee, the name that Takuya called for the place if she was not mistaken.

"Yea, methinks so". She uttered, not certain if he is waiting for her verbal response. "Prithee, that ye shalt present me with grapes. Else, I canst eat naught else."
She then walked steps forward, completely guessing the directions and looked back at his still form.

"Alright, I'll get you some grapes first and then we'll go to Kamikaze, I'm starving" Takuya said to Femi as he walked to the supermarket with her

Jusco Supermarket

As Takuya entered the Jusco Supermarket, he called over to Femi to take a look at the grandeur of the market. The aisles were vast and huge. It was very modern and sleek. There was so much technology that it left Takuya in awe. After the awe-inspiring moment about the supermarket. He eyed at Fruits and Vegetables section and looked at all the fresh and crisp fruits and vegetables. Takuya then yelled across to Femi "Hey, Femi, I found some fresh and plump grapes" and then he pointed to the grapes as he awaited for Femi to arrive

"Alright, I'll get you some grapes first and then we'll go to Kamikaze, I'm starving." Hearing those words, Femi immediately looked back at him. She quickly snapped her neck towards him and stared beaming. With her eyes shining brightly, she turned to him eagerly. "Grapes?" She uttered, a drool almost forming in the sides of her mouth.

Her servants always made sure to pick the right grapes for her. While she loved the food to pieces, she certainly can't stomach the unripe ones or the overly ripened fruits. She had been so picky with eating grapes that her father made it a point to plant one in their greenhouses. They failed to make the plants prosper though. It doesn't help that they live in the desert, but also, the gardeners doesn't know how to plant vine grapes.

Because of this, her father, the pharaoh made sure to import grapes from the nearest tribes they can find just to satisfy her desires. It had been hard, since the nearest country that sells grapes is almost two days away on ship. Femi doesn't know how her father does it, but once in a week, she gets good quality grapes that she thoroughly enjoys eating.

Noticing how foolish she looked, Femi immediately snapped back to reality. She composed herself and brushed off the imaginary dirt from her dress and stared at the brown-haired man. She nodded at him, her eagerness to eat grapes showing before following him. "Whither thou goest, I shall go!"

As they were walking around, Femi can't help but feel astounded with the environment. There are certainly a lot of people here. More than she had been used to seeing walking daily in Esna, in fact. Clasping her hands together and closely looking towards Takuya in the corner of her eyes, just to make sure she doesn't get lost, she continued taking steps forward.

When he entered another one of those daunting building, Femi stopped for a while and studied it critically. There is a black thing which blinks and moves constantly in front of the establishment. She can see different words, in English if she wasn't mistaken. But she can't read those because the words are flashing very fast before her. Gazing deep in thought as she get irritated minute by minute when she can't form a single coherent sentence from the black unnatural thing, Femi was surprised when the unknowing man called her. She neared him and turned to the door-like thing in front of them. Together they entered the establishment and she was shocked to stillness when she saw the inside.

The first thing that Femi noticed was the number of people, there were a lot. A lot of people carrying one of those basket-like things but this one in metal. There were also different divisions that is decorated by lots of different things. She saw various bottles, packs of a thing Femi doesn't know how it is called, paper and boxes all shelved in those divisions. She was even surprised to see that most of them were grouped similarly! Each bearing different words, names and pictures that she also can't clearly understand. Above those divisions, Femi also found herself reading with difficulty, words like "Fruits", "Candies", "Snacks" and many other things the Egyptian Princess know not a nil about.

"Hey, Femi, I found some fresh and plump grapes!" Takuya then shouted taking her focus off the divisions. The ebony-haired girl didn't actually heard about his whole statement, she just focused on one thing that interested her the most. Grapes. The very word seemed to be stressed in her mind and Femi immediately went over to the brown-haired man. "Whence?" She said in response, looking around for her favorite food.

Takuya just sighed for a bit. Sometimes, helping a person from another time period is just too much trouble but Takuya has patience in doing so. Anyway, tearing off a piece of plastic from a roll of plastic hanging above the fresh produce, Takuya blew air into the piece of plastic and it formed into a bag. There were many grapes but primarily, there was only purple and white grapes. He didn't which to choose from. Asking Femi, Takuya said to her "Femi, can you come here please, which color of grapes do you like and how much do you need?". The question may seem odd for someone from a different time period. However, at least the question that Takuya asked had an understanding for the princess. Awaiting for Femi's response, Takuya slightly smiled at her as he was waiting for Femi's initial response.

Femi stared at him, predictably confused. What did he meant by color of the grapes? Looking at the differently sized grapes inside a container in front, the black-haired Egyptian noticed the varying color of the rounded fruits. Some of the grapes were colored white while the other are violet.

She reached out her right arm, as if aiming to get a piece. A thoroughly bewildered expression is painted on her face. She had no knowledge that the color of the grapes should be considered when eating the fruit. Back at her home, she didn't really notices the food that she's eating. She had her servants to take care of that for her. And because of this, she just happily consumes whatever they present to her.

Her father would always warn her that while the servants looked trustworthy enough, she must, above all be wary of what she intakes. She's a princess and sooner or later, it will be inevitable that someone would be interested to see her dead either because of jealousy or as a sign of political rebellion in the future years. Especially if she gets the chance to rule their land or if she will be married to a pharaoh of a neighboring tribe.

More often the usual though, she'd rather focus on the sweetness and ripeness of grapes, instead of studying it closely enough. She fully trusts her father's people, those that she think of as her family.

"I know naught what thou had been talking of", she replied later on after a passing silence between the two of them. She took a step back and turned sideways to look around the establishment. She can see some of the unusually dressed people staring at her from time to time. Which mildly irritated her, not one looked familiar to her. Even the way they dressed are different from her own place.

"I care not about the colors of the grapes. Thou shalt be certain thy grapes are ripe and mouthwatering, else thou shalt suffer my anger." She firmly stated, stressing on the words "ripe and mouthwatering" before she went towards the nearest row of boxes with the label "Cereal" printed in front of it.

"Takuya," she uttered his name in a haughty inquiring tone, "What is this?" She pointed towards the box and reached out to get one. She had never encountered the word cereal before. Is it a foreign type of food? Whatever that is, Femi is quite interested in knowing. There are a number of boxes all bearing the words "Cereal" in front, sometimes accompanied by "Crunchy" and "Delicious" which makes the Egyptian Princess wonder what it is.

"Alright then" Takuya said to Femi. Picking out from a pile of fresh grapes. He picked a bunch of grapes, they looked ripe at the right amount and they're extremely flavorul. Putting the bunch of grapes in the bag. He got an extra bunch of grapes just in case if she wanted another bunch. After putting the bunches of grapes in the plastic bag. He turned to Femi who was pointing at a box. Takuya walked up to her and took a look at the box she was pointing at.

After a quick look at the box, he turned to Femi and said to her "That's a box with cereal in it, It's made of processed grains from factories, they usually do the work for us, it came from America" It's gonna take a while for Takuya teaching Femi the ways of the modern world.

"America?" She parroted looking at the box with full of different colors that is currently in her hand. She turned it over as if by doing so would provide her some answers. Casting the brown-haired man a confused look, she raised the box into an eye-level and stated, "What is a cereal? What ye mean with grains? What factories?"

Still staring at the box as if it was some interesting piece of treasure, Femi started to shake it slightly. She heard some weird moving sounds from the box and shook it again.

"Peasant," the words were automatically out of her mouth, without second thoughts she immediately blurted what is in her mind.

She had duly grown up into an environment where there are only two types of people: the servant and the masters. In her case, she grew up with an abundance of servers in at her beck and call. Some may say that Femi Ahmose, the third child of Pharaoh Amose VII, but Femi doesn't care a nil about it. She had been taught by several of mentors that while she is technically of weaker power and control since she is a woman, still without a doubt she is higher than any other being next to the pharaoh and his council.

They repeatedly remind her that she is a princess.

She is someone who is destined into great things and while she will most likely be married to a successor or a large old balding widower of a pharaoh, she should be and must be given due respect at all times. Simply because of this, she had grown quite used to addressing anyone else she considers of lower status than hers, either 'peasant', 'merchant' or 'slave'.

She usually does care not a thing if she will offend others. It wasn't in her bones and blood.. More so, in fact, she can be as haughty as what someone of royal blood should be. She had been breed and trained about this ever since her childhood days- on the ways of the princesses. Ever since being able to think for herself, Femi is very much every inch aware of her social status.

Opposite to how she acts whenever with her people though, Femi is very kind to her servants. Yes, she does draw the line between the differences in their statuses, but she mostly doesn't get these things in her head. Femi stays as earthly-rooted as she can. She doesn't wish for bigger than life type of things and instead her only wish is the health and abundance of their land. To the wellness and prosperity of every life in it.

She gave the box a harder shake this time, her eyes unblinking as she waited for Takuya's response. "Ye," she started having trouble to cease the demanding tone in her voice, "Ye say to me."

She then gestured to the box in her hands and to the place around them. "Art those sorcery?" She asked, a very curious lilt in her voice. "Canst ye..", turning to open the 'cereals', Femi continued "say to me, how canst overmany cast magic here? Isn't magic naught but a fleeting illusion, over-flowered by such mouths that dost nary else but talk?"

"Magic?, What are you talking about?" Takuya said to Femi. "All of this is real, it isn't sorcery" He added to Femi. "We have machinery because it helps make our lives easier and because of this, technology developed and it made our world advanced" Takuya said to Femi

"Anyway, back to the definition of cereal, it is made with grains that you see on the wheat fields, farmers come and harvest it and give it to huge buildings, the huge buildings called factories process the wheat/grains by cuting it down to small iees of it and they packed the grains to form multiple miniscule spheres." Takuya said to Femi

After the somewhat long explanation, Takuya walked to the check-out aisle and awaited in line to pay for the grapes and signaled to Femi to come over here.

Femi stared at him quietly, Takuya had continued to 'explain', spewing out words after words without ceasing. She didn't really knew what he was saying and Femi was more than half-tempted to either tell him to stop or walk away without second words. She wanted to tell him that she didn't know what was happening.

At first, she thought that everything was caused by sorcery. What else can explain a moving metal without the aid of a horse or a slave? What else can explain the opening doors without someone nearby to open it forcibly? What else can show moving pictures out of a black square?

Femi Ahmose, while never trained into every issue about on Esna, but still she read a lot. She had skimmed and also thoroughly read everything she can find in the archives of their palace. When she didn't know a single thing, she'd make it a point to ask the Palace Scholar the meaning of those. She's certain of it, more than truthfully she prided on it, on her never ending thirst for knowledge.

Spoiled and stubborn as she is, Femi never liked to look like a total unknowing idiot. One of the very things she hated is being called a foolish doll. Princesses are never taught. History repeatedly dictates on how Princesses, be Egyptian or not, are locked with their one true destiny. But Femi never believed in that. She did not dare let her self be caged with the old traditions that more often than not, causes unending grief to women of her stature.

She almost shoved the box in front of his face, her irritation having raised into that level where she only wanted to throw temper tantrum to emphasize her point. What does this mere peasant wanted her to look like? Does he want to show her that she's an unknowing fool? He spoke out words, machinery, spheres, factories, and a bunch of gibberish speech that made her think he's speaking in another language.

What is he trying to prove?

She care not a nil about factories or how they are cutting grains into spheres. She care not about a thing about this foreign land except that those concerns with her finally going back home. Squeezing the box tightly in her hands, she trudged next to him, throwing him a deadly glare when she noticed him gesturing to her. She stood next to him. She didn't dare utter a word, and instead she steamed beside him, looking at anything else except him.

If he would aim to make her look like a fool, then she would rather be mute and deaf. She'd rather keep quiet and observe the things around. If he won't help her, then she'd bid her time. She'll search for other people that could help her. She may not know a lot about this land, but she's certain. In one way or another, there will kindred souls here. People who will not hesitate to lend a helping hand, specially if she charms her way towards them.

It wasn't known in the land of her father, but inside the palace, on the place very near the black-haired princess' heart, Femi is famous for getting things her way. She'd do anything and everything just to get what she wanted. Usually, she asks for books, food, garments, dresses or her precious hair pieces. But now, the price is much higher than all of those combined. Her whole future is at stake here. She must do all she can to get this. And she probably, absolutely and undeniably will.

She didn't want to live here.

Not with this unknowing infuriating man.

Not with the unusual eerie moving metal boxes.

No, never. She would make it absolutely certain for her. She would never be stuck here.
