Setting
"You ate all of them, and your face is a mess!"
Cossette sighed, looking at Sorrow's face disapprovingly.
"We should open gifts now,"
Sorrow shouted. She gave Lacey a bear hug, getting some of the pastries on her.
"You suck!" Lacey went to get the gifts. She handed a smaller one to Sorrow.
Sorrow took another gift. It was oddly shaped. She looked at the tag,
"From: Lacey,"
She opened it..
"I-I can't believe this. You got me a-a-a-a ROCK?!"
Lacey laughed.
"Sorry, I couldn't resist!" She grabbed another gift.
"This one is a real one that I spent time on,"
Lacey had worked for awhile on the painting. It was a painting of a mermaid down in the sea, and a girl on the ground, burning stuff with her fire.
Sorrow smiled.
She opened it.
It was a self-made scrap book of drawings of Sorrow and Cossette.
"I am speechless.."
Sorrow smiled.
"You're welcome,"
Lacey handed another gift.
"I found this, figured you might want to have it,"
Sorrow opened it.
"Ha! A fire globe!"
Lacey smiled and handed the last gift to Sorrow.
Sorrow smirked then opened it. It was a scrapbook from memories when Lacey and Sorrow still 'knew' each other.
"Thanks, guys! And um..Lacey? Do you have anymore...Pastries? Like the one with chocolate chips...and it was a tanish color?"
[COOKIES!]
"Wow, you must be addicted to them! Cossette, did you put drugs in the cookies?" Lacey joked.
"No, I just put drugs in yours," Cossette laughed.
