Turned at age twenty, in the year 1845, Amethystia was young. Her story is this: her past is forgotten, erased from her mind, the sadness and anger lost, but for one face, the man who had changed her.
In 1845, two months after turning 20, the outgoing young woman was walking home from a party with a man she had just met there. He was incredibly handsome, pale, strong features and cool hands, deep green eyes and thick, curly dark hair. Smiling and laughing in that serious way of his, the man offered to escort her home. She agreed to let him. So, walking through the star-lit park, the man stopped suddenly, turning toward her with an odd expression on his face. Looking up at him, lips parted in surprise, she thought he was going to kiss her. But, sadly, he was not. Leaning down, he quickly grasped her neck, the grip strong, yet gentle. "I am sorry... I have to do this." he whispered into her ear. Her eyes widened as he bit her slender throat.
So, Amethystia became a vampire. Against her will, but one nonetheless. A sad story, one which she vows to never repeat on an unwilling victim.

Amethystia opened the door quietly, vibrant blue eyes peering about the room. slipping into the bar, closing the door silently behind her, the young woman walked timidly to the bar, red-gold curls spilling about her shoulders.
stepping up to the bar's counter, she ordered a glass of... she looked around, hoping no one saw what it was. turning her head, she spotted an empty stool behind her, and sat down gently. tapping a finger against her full lips, the pale woman crossed her legs at the ankles, observing the people in the bar with open curiosity.

Amethystia leaned back slightly and raised a brow, blue eyes sharpened. she looked around, making sure the creepling wasn't talking to someone else.
"what am i having?" she looked confused, and slightly nervous. this guy seemed a little insane. ah... company is company, though... whether they're slightly psychotic or not. she smiled at him slightly, bright white teeth peeking out from beneath her full lips.

Amethystia noticed the woman calling to her with a small smile, blinking, "i'd love to.." standing, she remembered the creepling beside her, "i am going to go join the group over there..." she pointed.
walking silently to the group, she came to stand beside the woman, looking up at the people through thick, long lashes, suddenly shy. she chided herself, and looked up, trying to appear more confident than she felt.

Amethystia nodded with a smile again, sliding into the booth. she looked around at all the faces, feeling new and slightly out of place. blinking suddenly, her mouth parted to form an 'O' of embarrassment. she'd forgotten to introduce herself.
turning to face the woman, "i'm sorry.. i didn't catch your name.. i'm Amethystia." she smiled again, pale face flushing, "i'm sort of.. new around here. you're the first person i've met." the shy sixteen-year-old looked down at her hands again, beautiful face concealed by red-gold curls.

Amethystia took the offered hand and nodded, "i hope so. Chise..." she tested the name, and smiled, "a pretty name, as well."
she bit her lower lip lightly in thought, then regretted it. closing her mouth, she smiled at her company, then turned to Chise, "so who are all these people?" she whispered, lilt of an accent noticeable as she spoke softly.

Amethystia smiled brightly, and nodded to Aivos, Dean, and Sadar, expression one of open curiosity.
she faced Chise once more, "are you.. a vampire as well?" she asked, whispering again. she sighed as she noted all the people.. creatures stumbling into Gambit's. all appeared to be friends. she felt slightly out of place. and YOUNG.

Amethystia smiled slightly, revealing a sharp tooth, blushing, "yes.." she whispered back, "but not because i wanted to be. if i could change anything, it would to be human again."
she closed her mouth and intertwined her fingers together in her lap, "i want to be normal again. but i can't." she looked over at Chise, pale cheeks flushing again at the vehemence in which she said that. i wonder if she likes being one? if it was her choice? she wondered, curling a thick strand of hair around a slender finger.

Amethystia gently touched a fading scar on her own neck with a grimace, "how old are you, Chise? she asked, feeling more at ease now.
she jerked her head up, startled when the woman yelled out, "Loyd!" and turned to look at the person she was calling to, curious. when seeing the young man, her face fell, features softened in concern. he okay? she touched a finger to her lips in thought.

Amethystia was about to speak, but noticed the time, a clock on the wall. she sighed, groaning inwardly, and stood, "i have to be going, i'm sorry, Chise. thank you for talking with me." she smiled and walked to the door, slipping out into the sunlight, and out into the city, gold-red hair glinting as she strode, to who-knows-where. she doesn't...
