So begins...
Asuralen's Story
Asuralen notices her shaking, and frowns. A moment later a long vine pokes from the earth, growing into a rose that pushes itself onto her shoulder. A feeling of calm and contentness and well being would permeate her to her soul.
The bush would smile at you slightly. "My pleasure, though a tad less than I would do were I whole. By the way, what are you weaving?"
The plant shifted around, but was unable to get a full view of the tapestry. "Well.. I'm sure it looks lovely."
The plant shrugs, or tries too. "Heh. Ok then. Say, I'm rather bored. Would you like to play a game of riddles?" He nods at her loom. "Shouldn't distract you too much from that."
"Well then you go first. I'll think up one to match" He smirks at her, his leafy face shuffling with the now relaxing breeze
Chuckling, Asura gives her a sly look. "I am a god... The answer is man, for the child crawls, the parent walks, and the grandfather wielded a cane."
"I am red and blue, and every other hue. I am warm and coiled a thousand times over, and I can devour a million sheep and still not be full, what be I?" Asura responds with a slight shfit in teh ground.
Asuralen bursts out laughing. Thunder booms and you see lightning streak through the sky, still no clouds. The earth shakes with his mirth, and you hear shouts of pain and suprise from teh spire. "Oh.. that is more a joke than a riddle. And the words are twisted, for she murdered her sister for murdering the man whom she fell in love with, which her sister had used to fake her own death. Am I wrong?"
The ground continues shaking a bit with mirth. "Ahh... Well I'll remember it if only because it's funny. But you said her sister had already had a funeral."
Asuralen pauses as he thinks. "Well... The snipers would obviously be instant death. Poison gas would be sooner, though he could open a window... No, I'd have to go with the lions, because I believe if it hasn't eaten in three months, it's probably already dead."
Asuralen ponders for a moment before deciding. "Young I am tall, old I am short, and my life will flicker until I die. What am I?
The setting changes from The Ruins to Gambit's Bar
A slight breeze blows open the door to the tavern, and a single leaf flies in, to land at the bar.
