So begins...
Asuralen's Story
The setting changes from The Glitter Band to The Ruins
"How about me" A voice whispers from nowhere.
"Oh please put those toys away you morons, even if you could actually hit me with them, it wouldn't do you any good. Besides, I'm not in the mood. I was this close to finally getting out of that blasted demons prison."
"I have been here since the day of creation, guarding against the atrocities and horrors found between existence and the end. I have been fighting against demons since the dawn of time, and even a goddess like yourself, Asmodea, is a mere infant to my life. I have been imprisoned here, unable to do as I have been charged, because of the trickery of a demon, who convinced your kind that I was their fear and hatred, and thus they turned against their protector!" The earth shakes and rumbles as the unseen being strains against his bonds. "And though my anger at you idiotic creatures is well deserved! It is not to you that I will direct my vengeance..."
The setting changes from The Ruins to Gambit's Bar
Something knocks on the door to gambits, a sound so random and unexpected, that even in the hustle and bustle of the tavern, everyone can hear it.
Again, something knocks on the door to the tavern, and again the unexpected sound echoes through the room.
The moment Zekil's head is out of the door, a young man, hanging from above the door frame, jumps into her face and shouts. "Boo!"
The young man laughs heartilly, looking human save for a long, black tail. "Awww, but it's so much FUN to scare a demon witless!" He shrugs his shoulders, a bulge formed on his back looks suspicous. "Anywho, your kinda in my way ma'am." He says, then walks right through Zekil, as though she were insubstantial.
Asuralen chuckles at Zekil, "really? You look like a girl, sounds like a girl, and *Sniff sniff* yep, smell like a girl. So you just have to be a girl"
The young man walks to the counter, then shakes his head. "Ok you know, I was gonna try but it's just too much hassle." he says as he unzips his jacket and removes his gloves. His gloves turn out to have cloven hands, and he takes his jacket and unzips to long zippers running on the back, before putting the jacket on. A moment of shuffling his shoulders and two large, solid black wings sprout from the openings. He flaps them twice, creating a gust in the tavern before settling. "Ahhh thats much better." He smiles as he orders a drink.
Asu' taps the counter, adressing Zekil again. "So Ma'am, can I get a bottle of scotch and some frozen yogurt, and put a shot of port in the yogurt ok hun?" He says, purposfully calling him with every female term he can think of.
Asu' laughs and nods. "Yes I am, miss. You are the barmaid tonight right?" He smirks, wiseass that he is.
Asu smirks and leans closer to Zekil "I asked if you could get me a bottle of rum, and a bowl of ice cream with a shot of port in it. And in case your as dumb as you look, I've also been calling you a woman with every sentence." He says, sticking his tongue out at the Demon, trying his best to piss him off.
Asuralen shrugs at the Chek. "Eh, I hope she does poison my food, gives it a nice little tang to it. And besides, you can't kill one of those who bring the final end to mortals now can you?"
At his words, Asu turns to Chek and grins widely. "yes I am... And I'm here, no thanks to you idiots who can't tell the difference between a devil and a Nephilem to save your life. As to how I'm free? Well Lets just say a sweet little girl suffering from nightmares found her way to my door." he chuckled.
"isn't that right, little one." He says out into the air, and a moment later, Niana steps from the shadows behind Chek, though she tries to make it easy for him to see her, so he doesn't freak out.
Smacks his hand on the table, suddenly very very angry. "Are you nuts! Of course not you imbecillic excuse for life! I hate it when people think they know how things are, but really know nothing." Suddenly, he's calm and smiling. "It's strange isn't it? The victors write history, but they can never erase the truth..."
