Description
Chesley Marquardt was just a human who wanted to know what happened to their mom after she was taken away when Chess was ten. Yeah, that didn't work out well. At the age of twenty, Chess left their father behind and discovered that their mother had been used as a sacrifice to a long-dead deity, and now Chess is on a path to figure out if this deity is going to come back as well as to get vengeance on the people who killed their mom. Chess didn't want to go on any adventures, they just wanted some closure, but now that they found out their mother's fate, their destiny is inexorably tied to those who killed her mother after kidnapping her.
