Personality

Elizabeth is a spirited, intelligent, and independent-minded character. Her beauty attracted the attention of several men including Will Turner, Hector Barbossa, Pintel and Ragetti, James Norrington, Sao Feng and Captain Jack Sparrow. Throughout the three films, she transforms from a proper lady into a courageous pirate. Piracy and life at sea have always fascinated Elizabeth, but she is revolted by pirates' aggressive, wild nature, especially Captain Jack Sparrow, who made his escape from Port Royal at her expense, though she is grateful to him for saving her life. Even after becoming a pirate, Elizabeth retains her refined ways, as well as her loyalty and compassion for loved ones (including Will Turner, her father, and later, Jack Sparrow and James Norrington).
Elizabeth adapted easily to piracy, having natural leadership abilities, learning seamanship quickly, and possessed an innate talent for battle strategy, having devised defensive and offensive maneuvers against her opponents. She learned swordsmanship from William Turner and was able to defend herself against multiple opponents, fighting with two swords simultaneously. She later uses a Chinese Jian sword and also carried a multitude of other weapons on her person including knives, firearms, and what appears to be a small grenade.
She often spoke her mind even if it offended others; for example, she called a potentially dangerous enemy, Sao Feng, a coward. During her reign as Pirate King, Elizabeth proved to be a charismatic leader and inspired the other pirate lords to fight Cutler Beckett's fleet. Elizabeth's darker side was shown when she sacrificed Jack Sparrow to the Kraken so she and the crew could escape. However, this act left her guilt-ridden and she later helps rescue him from Davy Jones' Locker.

She rolled her eyes and huffed at his reply.

'Yes Jack, and ive apologised about a thousand times, and besides i helped rescue you from the locker IF you dont remember.'

she examined the growing number of bottles in front of him.

'Oh why is the rum gone!' she mimicked in a mockery of Sparrow, 'I'll bloody tell you why because you drunk it all'

She picked up one of the bottles and thrust it to her mouth in an attempt to satiate her thirst...to no avail.

'Gibbs make that two!' she ordered. she was stressed lately will had disappeared off the face of the earth and she was left at home to waste away.

'Have you heard from Will?' she asked Jack in a much calmer tone, before looking over at the lad.

'Ahh good maybe you can teach jack a bit of punctuality' she winked.

Elizabeth Turner gives jack an evil , beady-eyed glare. which said everything she was thinking..such as your going to take advantage of this poor boy? your in no fit state yourself... However instead she turned back to the boy and simply said

'Your in capable hands, learn well, for not many are taken under the hand of the InfamousCaptain Jack Sparrow' she sniggered unnoticably to herself before standing up straight.

'Jack sparrow i dont think im nearly not drunk enough for that kind of talk, i consider me and Will a long distance thing you know? I'm sure he thinks of me, and i think of him... thats alot more than most marriages these days account for.' she said to herself reassuringly whilst resetting herself on her chair to keep from falling.. She missed him dearly, the sexy suave blacksmith turned pirate who she fell in love with and married.

She took her drink from the young man before draining it rather impressively in front of them all... she let down her hair and hiccup softly once before placing her hand to her mouth. 'Excuse me'

Elizabeth Turner grinned in her warm perfect smile, the affect of the alcohol fully taken effect;
'Morocco ahh young Will does get around, well Mr Sparrow im sure you'll take my bill, I have people that require my hiccup attention, so if you'll excuse me.'

She stumbled out of her chair waved at the young man and headed for the exit.
