Name: She goes as Violet now. Her true name is Erin Desmond
Age: 23
Species: Human (American...witch...)
Appearance:
She tends to keep her hair up in a ponytail. And no, her hair isn't naturally purple, it is black
Personality: Her body language portrays one who is cocky and a fighter...but she doesn't speak much...if at all. She doesn't mingle with people, human or otherwise usually, she has a bit of a paranoid look about her. She gets frustrated in large groups because she can't speak, and she finds it hard to write fast enough. She prefers 'talking' one on one because of it.
Backstory: Erin Desmond was a young girl living in America when strange things started to happen...it all happened when she discovered the hidden library underneath the church her parents dragged her too. She had been there many many times, yet it was only when she was fifteen...and snuck in there at night to get away from some people that she had pissed her off. It was when she was hiding in one of the older sections of the church, an essentially unused place. The floor broke underneath her with a loud crack and she fell through.
She had been lucky that she didn't break any bones. But she was surprised to see that what lay underneath the old church was a library filled with forgotten books. It was there that she found The Grimoire of the Planes. The book felt...funny to her. But right.
When she opened the book she found that it was written in a language she had never seen...yet she somehow could read. A voice echoed in her head, it claimed to be the demon in the book and wanted her to set it free. Erin refused to let it completely go, but bound it to her instead.
She was seventeen when this happened.
When she turned Eighteen she had been practicing for a year, and the demon, who she called Hlezaf, a demonic word for prison, had started to get antsy, nervous even. It was on November first, the end of Samhain, when she was dragged out of her house and to a hill, she was going to be killed by a cult that wanted to get the book.
Hlezaf had enough of being in the background and forcibly took control over her and her powers. She killed the people...at the cost of her ability to speak. It isn't so much that she can't speak anymore, just only sometimes.
When she woke up after Hlezaf released control of her she found herself across the city. She has wandered around for awhile now, and has found her way to Wing City.
