"Glint" Nil Sha'hem

High above the road , hidden amongst the crags and bluffs, waited death. Not that death was uncommon around Hera Prime… quite the opposite. Death rode on ragged wing, slithered through scorching sand, swam through poison pools, and oozed through decrepit cracks.

But this death was something different, yet remarkably dull. A man, If you could really call the thing that waited amongst the rocks and shrubs a man, watching the road below. He was waiting for a trap to be sprung. Not his own trap. The trap laid for some poor fool by a group a flesh bags known as Sirens.

Nil, or “Glint” depending on who you spoke to, was waiting for the Sirens to show themselves. He was contracted to take the head of a particular redheaded Siren named Haurutu. He had tracked their movements to this trapping spot. He’d have to get far to close for comfort to find their exact where abouts. So he had elected to perch on the mountain side and watch for the tell tale sign of a Siren attack. Concealed not only by the shadows cast off by various rocks, and well placed “blind” made for the local fauna, Nil had changed the color of his cloak to match the rocky background. His weapon, a long range rifle, was camouflaged with fauna as well.

A rising dust cloud in the north told him he’d not have to wait much longer…
As Nil scanned the area through a magnified optic, A group of figures caught his attention.
Excitement clawed it’s way through Nil’s flesh. Twenty six figures, all armed. Hacking, slashing, rending, dying. Nil gazed hungrily at the group, Limbs being hacked off, people being gutted. It gave him a pleasure near erotic. A single figure was left standing after a few moments… Frowning disappointed the splendor had ran dry, Nil turned his gaze back to the task at hand.

The truck was within the man’s line of sight now. Nil watched the vehicle, sweat ran down the back of his neck, he itched with anticipation. Abruptly the front end of the vehicle lurched into the air, smoke rolled out from under the ruined truck… Nil started counting in his head.

One…. two… three… fo--- Bang

About three and a half seconds.. Just shy of twelve hundred spans away. Licking his lips Nil slipped a hand forward and started adjusting his scope for one thousand two hundred spans. A safe distance for sure. He hadn't met a Siren yet that had been able to notice being shot at from a thousand yet. Now was the hardest part of Nil’s job… Watching death but not being part of the suffering.

"You have to be kidding me. You simply have to be." Just once. Once. ONCE could a job be exceedingly simple? And not set against some incredibly cliche-named creature. No. Not in Hera. Still, it was better than Chaos and Orks, and other people that he had to deal with back home. "Maybe it's just my headach-" An explosion cut off his mumbling, and markedly increased his headache. Peering around from the rock he'd been hiding behind, waiting for the last Emperor knows how long, and what he saw nearly made him sick.

Marines. Of course. Marines. Space Marines. Possibly even chaos Marines. At least only one was left. The truckload of angry, armed men though? That was new, and not part of his "Siren"-catching plan. Of course, he didn't have a plan so that didn't matter, but it still annoyed him someone else was after the same contract. Although...He thought for a second and chuckled. This sort of tactic felt familiar. "Why not test it?"

With a deep breath Epathus strode out from his hiding place. He could already feel the knife-life pressure in his skull increasing, the blood ready to gush from his noise, the whispers in the back of his soul. This was the price of being a Psyker, what it bought though? "You there!" the call was directed towards one of the men from the truck, the one closest to him naturally, and as soon as that man turned towards Epathus? Boom. His head became confetti.

If the trap had been set by who he suspected, that would get his attention.

The sounds of an explosion caught Falkenwrath's attention. He turned to look in the direction where the noise came from and noticed a toppled truck with smoke coming from the wreckage. He let go of the pile of corpses and raised his sword for battle, wether they be friendly or not he did not care, all he cared about was to spill blood and satisfy the curse that afflicted him. Every second he waited he felt an immense amount of pain, he had grown used to it but nothing compared to how he would feel if he would engage these people in battle.

Falkenwrath slowly marched to the truck, sword by his side and at the ready to fight. He did not know about the Sirens that laid an ambush or what these mercs were armed with, all he knew that there were enemies in front of him and that was enough for him. But he knew he was not going to fight alone, just a few minutes and he knew what would happen.

Everything was going to shit quickly. Orka's team quickly left the truck, a few immediately opening fire on the Psyker as soon as they could. The others began to spread out, waiting for the Siren attack. They could come from any direction, even above.

It wasn't until a reddish hand grabbed a mercenary that it became clear which direction that was. Below.

The ground shifted as two dozen Sirens, some armored, made themselves known. They were armed with a variety of weapons. They were pragmatic fighters, they needed range and the ability to kill their enemy up close.

The mercenary aimed her handgun down at the hand, but before she could get her shot off a blade found itself in her unarmored ankle. The mercenary fell from the strike severing her bone. She accidently let off several shots from her pistol, most of them striking a teammate and sending him stumbling.

The Siren ascended from the ground slowly revealing themself to be the redheaded Siren Glint was looking for.

Haurutu drew a spear from his armored back, slowly creeping towards the front of the truck to get the jump on Orka. The mercenary leader was very unaware of his impending death until he poked his head out of the truck and saw the shimmer of the spear's tip in the dual suns light.

"Well... shit." He said to himself.

" Glint" Nil Sha'hem

As soon as the mercs started getting their shit together Glint set to work on obtaining a firing solution , gracing the top of each person's skull he figured out their average height, and used that to get a more precise range to his target. Once he did that he cross referenced it with the average size of the trucks’ tire. Glint’s eidetic memory made this quick work.
Luckily the Wind was constant, he’d been observing the mirage wafting off of the road for a few hours now and it hardly changed.

That’s when Glint caught movement not far from the road, just intime to see a man's head explode, not in the same way a bullet would have done either, literally exploded..

Epathus…

Turning back to the truck Glint Watched as his target pulled down some poor sap.
Holding the cross hair at the base of Haurutu’s knee, he fired the his weapon.
Instead of the loud concussive blast normally associated with long guns, there was something comparable to a soda can being opened in an auditorium.

The projectile raced down the 1182.3 spans to his target in little more than a second: Right as Haurutu raised her weapon. The hollow point projectile impacted just above her knee, severing everything below from her body, leaving a mangled stub with bits of loose muscle and tissue attached. Now that he was done with business , he’s let Epathus know he’d already claimed this bounty.

He fired a second round, at Epathus’ feet, kicking up dirt onto the man’s pants, before selecting another Siren to target. He’s shoot this one in the groin. Shattering her pelvis crippling the creature, she’d bleed out in a moment , but that moment would last seemingly forever. Glint gazed through his scope at the wounded figure, and killed another siren that had attempted to move the second into cover. Right in the eye The pink mist the erupted out of the back of the figures head was near art work to Glint.

For a bunch of shell-shocked Mercs on a frontier world they sure reacted fast. Epathus barely had time to focus enough to create a Telekinetic Shield in front of himself. It's blue shimmer rippled with every bullet. It was working pretty well too, but then those Siren's popped up. Those Emperor-damned Sirens! The startle rocked his concentration, breaking the shield and letting a bullet lodge in his left shoulder. "You bastards!" it was an instinctual howl, and without realizing it he had amplified the sound to a near dizzying level with his anger. Bad sign. Bad, bad sign. That broke the floodgate of his nose, too. Blood everywhere. How could it get any worse..

Epathus winced the second his contract's lower body basically exploded in a fine pink mist. That was how. Always a way to get worse. He was fairly certain some sort of cartilage landed on his cheek. No time for a rivalry, though! Things were still getting worse.

Those...Siren-things had popped up quite handily, and in quite enough of a number. Although as he locked eyes with the one staring him down and approaching slowly, he got the feeling only one number really mattered. And that was number one. He chuckled just a little as he realized the thing staring him down was probably thinking a very similar cheesy line, albeit with drastically different intent.

It? She? Lunged. Hard and fast, causing Epathus to throw himself back, colliding against a rock. It really seemed to amuse the Siren. It was one of those days. With a flick of his wrist the funny white-haired man unleashed a wave of telekinetic force, pushing his adversary back quite harshly. Of course it should've sent the lass flying, likely to her death in a high impact collision against a rock. This was bad.

Worse, again. That was the only thought he could muster before slipping into a snap-focus. Another Siren, far behind the previous attack had thrown a spear dead center for Epathus' head. Good thing they didn't have a print-out on Psykers. His Psychic energy caught it with some ease, but now the original attacker was charging. Perfect. He re-directed the spear and launched it with a hefty dose of augmented velocity. Right as his attacker lept for his throat.

He heard it. A whistle, a thud, tearing of skin, gurgle. He could feel it. Warm, fresh blood all over him. His, hers, somebody else's? He couldn't tell. The pain in his skull had forced his eyes shut. The world was slowly spinning when they opened, and he almost wished it didn't stopped. Frozen in time the Siren stood just in front of him, except her clanswoman's spear was nearly completely through her..Jaw? The point was mere centimeters from the Psyker's face. It was a risky plan, but hey. No risk, no reward.

Not the time to wax poetic, though. He was getting close to spent and every injury, no matter how minor, made focus harder. Which meant it was his least favorite time. Time to bluff, and pray. He released his psychic hold on the spear, it clattering to the blood-drenched ground corpse in toe. "Which one of you screeching sandhags is next, mm?"

This wouldn't work. Now that they knew he and Glint were true threats, they'd start howling any moment..But hey. Better than not trying, right? Right..?

Falkenwrath watched as the battle unfolded, blood was being spilled quite quickly. He needed to go faster, he needed to get into the battle...NOW! His walking soon became faster, he then began running until he was just a blur. As he ran he dragged his greatsword behind him tearing apart the earth and kicking up dust to conceal his exact position. As he charged he channeled electricity through his other arm.

He arrived at the scene in a matter of seconds, the second he closed behind a pair of sirens he pulled his sword from the earth and swung it at incredible speeds, cleaving through the two sirens before they could even react. Once he finished off the tow some sirens immediately noticed him and charged his position with erratic movements, spears positioned to impale him. However the dust that was behind him had washed over the area clouding the area is a blanket of dust. The sirens were forced to stop their assault as dust assaulted their eyes, clouding their vision however by this time he had already accomplished what he wanted.

The electricity flowing through Falkenwrath's arm soon reached critical mass and he raised his arm into the air and slammed it into the ground sending a violent surge of electricity to everyone nearby, the voltage was so powerful that it caused not only their hearts to stop but to explode as well and frying their internal organs like a microwave. The sirens affected by the voltage could only let out a short cry of pain before becoming silent.

As the dust cleared all that remained was the corpses of the many of the sirens that had been alive just a second ago, in its place a single man stood there, looking at the remaining survivors. This man that had only just lugged around a pile of corpses had just killed a massive group of warriors like they were nothing. He would soon lift his sword off the ground and point it at the remaining people just daring them to fight him, the amount of malice that would pass over them was immense. He even pointed his sword in the distance and pointed it right at the sniper that was miles away from the battlefield. He knew there was a sniper in that direction but was not willing to chase him unless he shot at him.

Epathus was right. That wouldn't work. The Sirens were warriors molded by Hera Prime. One such warrior approach Epathus from behind, rifle stolen from one of the dead mercenaries in hand. He raised it towards the Psyker with the intent to remove a good portion of his brain.

There was no way to see if he might have succeeded, before the Siren could pull the trigger he found himself ran through by Orka. The man had plunged a dagger into his enemy, twisting and pushing it as far as it could go. Even through all the commotion one could hear the Siren's bones fracturing from the force.

"Vashi'tal!" A Siren screamed, gesturing with a handgun towards where the sniper was. Snipers complicated their guerilla tactics, he had to be dealt with or they all had to die trying to deal with him. The Siren then pointed to the Legionary.

"He belongs to me." He said, stripping the armor he wore from his person as he approached Falkenwrath.

One had to admire the tenacity, singling out the biggest and baddest they could find. Some called it brave, some stupid. It was probably both.

Orka raised a hand towards Glint's position. The sniper hadn't opened up on his team so he seemed at least somewhat friendly. Orka began to wave, not a hello but a warning.

Several of the more agile Sirens had taken off in a sprint towards Glint's nest. They were planning to take him out of the equation before he was able to kill any more of their people.

"Orka!" Shouted the female mercenary lying beside the now dead Haurutu, ankle still releasing a steady stream of blood. Enough blood that her chances of survival were slim.

"Leave, I'll handle this." She told her leader, Orka turned his attention to the others around him. The area around his truck became something of a war zone. A band or two of marauders and they really had a party.

"You!" He shouted at Epathus, "They'll overrun us. Use your magic and buy us time to run. This going to become a crater soon."

" Glint" Nil Sha'hem"

Nil watched One of the armed merc save Epathus ’ ass. A for effort, though.
The amount of thrashing was nice, twisting the dagger was both effective and inflicted a great deal of pain.

Hmmm, Nil watched casually as one of the remaining Siren’s waved a pistol in his direction. That’s actually surprising, what with thor tossing people around like daisy florets and Epathus literally mind fucking people, and yet they abandon their prey and attempt to find me?!
That’s just wonderful, three fourth’s a mile until they could kill them with that pistol… fifteen minutes run.

Flight time…

Resting the cross hair on the eye of the Siren pointing the pistol in his direction…

1.2 seconds.

The Siren’s head opened up like a watermelon hit with a sledge hammer. After three seconds the faintest whisper of a clap might be heard.

The gentle push of the recoil from his rifle barely obscured his view of the body toppling.
Glint took aim at a second Siren, and fired taking the man’s arm off at the shoulder, Nil fired another three shots, one hitting the man’s hand , blowing bits of bone and flesh in all directions.
And then one in each of his legs so he couldn’t crawl away.

You ever get a tune stuck in your head and couldn’t get it out? A sorta “Humm hum humm-- da -hum daa”

Oh they elected to take cover it seemed. Nil watched The man who had saved Epathus, approach Thor , or whatever his name was.
Were they running to him or were they running away from Thor and Brutus?
Oh look they cleared the thousand yard mark.A Siren was peaking back at the trap they had trigger.

“ Bang…” With that he touched off another round and served the man’s spinal cord. He fell screaming at the top of his lungs. Nil’s face split with a smirk, where had it come from?! Oh no, over there?! Couldn’t be! He chucked, and held his fire, at least for now. They had chosen the wronggg way to run… Oh well.

A sole eyebrow was raised at the man who saved him. This was incredibly awkward, really. From start to finish. This "Orka" was just some slime-sucking native who more or less got in the way of his bounty, and now he was giving orders? Well. The guy did save him, so Epathus sighed and nodded. "Right. My suggestion? Do whatever you're going to do fast. This is about to get a whole lot more interesting!" He didn't even realize it, but he was laughing as he finished his statement.

Straightening himself out he took a moment to use his psychic abilities to nullify his bodies ability to feel pain. It was a hasty job, it'd only last an hour or two tops and then he'd be flat on his back most likely, but. The now seemed more important. Besides he needed the clarity of mind being pain-free brought. This was quite the do or die situation, despite how many of the Sirens the marine cleaved, or all the shots Glint could fire. No. These creatures were native, and well equipped. This was a hunting party, maybe even a scouting party, and all this noise? This would all act as one giant beacon to the nearest Siren groups around. Everyone but Orka seemed too involved in their slaughter to notice.

Epathus' face contorted into a huge smile. "Perfection.." Examining the battlefield included the two corpses in front of him. They both had a small string of what appeared to be grenades. With a quick flick of his wrist the two corpses flew at the Siren's nearest to Orka, detonating just as they got in range to shower them with bone and cartilage and blood in spades. He also began to seek out and pull the pins, or press the buttons on any living Siren's grenades.

"Now THIS is a party people!" Hopefully it was enough of a garish sight it would draw away from Orka.

Falkenwrath turned to the siren that had decided to challenge him to a sort of duel, even striping off his armor to show that he was serious. The man was brave but ultimately foolish, trying to attack a man that took out a group of his allies with one strike. Falkenwarth glared at the man that was walking up to him, he then raised his sword and placed it on top of his shoulder getting ready to strike.

Once he was prepared, Falkenwrath charged at the man with inhuman speeds almost as if he had just teleported right in front of the man with his blade raised into the air. He would then bring it down and if the man was not quick enough the blade would easily sever the man in two from the middle down. With as much effort as it took to breathe.

While the battle was going on, back at the pile of corpses that was dragged around behind Falkenwrath began to stir. One figure at the top of the pile began to move his fingers before slowly pushing himself off the grounds and onto his legs. This man that had previously been killed had just come back from the dead. Once the legionare soldier stood back up, he ran at inhuman speeds just like Falkenwrath did, dragging his sword along the way and channeling a small orb of ice in his other hand. Not that long after several more figures slowly stood back up only to begin rushing towards the battle, but unlike the first two that charged, these two were actually clashing swords with each other.

The Siren warrior narrowly avoided the Legionary's attack with a swift roll, he drew his handgun and began to open fire on Falkenwrath. He made sure he was putting distance between himself and his larger opponent, that sword wasn't something you wanted to be close to if you could help it.

The first explosions prompted the Sirens to keep their distance, some drawing their firearms to fire at Epathus. That was until their grenades became armed, the Sirens found themselves quickly trying to shed the explosives before they were blown away.

Orka meanwhile pulled a crate from the back of his truck, he opened it to reveal an explosive device. A big one.

"We were going to use this for something else, but this will have to do." Orka said, casually arming the device. He undid two wires, pulling them as far as they would go. His wounded teammate pulled herself over to the bomb and grabbed hold of the wires.

The discarded grenades began to go off, the Sirens running and jumping to avoid the explosions. It was time to move, "Let's go." Orka called out to Epathus, starting his own sprint away from the bomb and the native warriors.

Orka's eyes found a ship in the distance flying towards the scene. He could only hope it was someone friendly and not more Sirens or raiders.

Falkenwrath felt the bullets impact his body, although his plate armor helped to deflect some of the rounds, the rest of the rounds found their mark and penetrated where his armor was the weakest causing blood to shoot out from each wound made. However the man seemed to ignore the bullets that had just entered his body, almost appearing unaffected by such an attack. In retaliation Falkenwrath channeled a orb of fire is his hand and put his sword through the orb. The sword began to burn, flames surrounding the blade. He would then lunge at the man, sword position right behind him and as he closed the distance swung his sword in a wide side arc.

For the other legionaries, they soon began to combat the other remaining sirens easily dispatching them with ease. Just like their leader they appeared just as capable as him. Soon more legionaries soon rose from the pile until 12 legionaries were back on their feet and charging at the sirens. Many of the legionaries also began fighting among themselves as well, taking opportunities to stab each other in the back, cut down another one who had just finished dealing with a siren, and one even ignored the sirens completely focusing on the other legionaries. Many of the legionaries kept on fighting, even when stabbed, impaled or shot at they continued to fight on. They were almost like machines built for one purpose, but they were not machines, they bled like a human and died like a human. Whatever these legionaries were they were not normal.

For the sirens it was a bloodbath, the legionaries easily cut them down like dogs. No matter how hard the sirens tried they would meet their brutal deaths. Some were impaled to death by swords, some were engulfed in flames, some were electrocuted, some were even frozen stiff. It was clear that the sirens stood no chance against these strange legionaries.

"Hurry up, magic man." Orka called out to Epathus, what was happening behind him was something he didn't want to be part of. His team was dead or dying, the Sirens, the magician and what he could assume were undead monsters saw to that. That bomb was going to buy some time for a real escape.

The wounded female mercenary waited until she thought Orka was far enough before slowly starting to bring the wires she gripped together. A Siren dropped down next to her as he was cleaved by one of the Legionnaires, reaching out to grab the woman as he succumbed to his wounds.

"See you all in Hades." The mercenary said, slamming the wires together to force a detonation.

The explosion was huge, pure energy. Weaponized plasma in a can that was going to incinerate as much as it could in short amount of time before it was just as quickly gone.

"Dis you see that?" The distant ship's pilot asked his passengers, "What? No." Andarta answered, getting up from her seat to join the pilot in the cockpit. All she saw was smoke, no one could have survived that. It wasn't worth checking out.

"I'm reading high energy levels. One of our weapons, I think." The pilot told Andarta.

It was worth checking out.

Jordyn staid in her seat for the moment, not wanting to do anything too foolish, at this point. Still she looked out the window at the smoke below. The pilot wasn't kidding, the amount of energy released in that blast was great.

"Plasma detonation." she said from the passenger area. She couldn't tell what kind but her HUD was telling her it was some form of plasma that had exploded below them. She hoped they wouldn't be going into a firefight or something, she wasn't exactly dressed or equipped for such an event at the moment, still in the bodysuit from her stasis pod and unarmed.

Blood poured from Epthaus' nose, ears, eye sockets and even the nail beds of his fingers. His vision was nearly gone, mostly just bright white, but he could still make out his fingers, sort of. The nails were clean gone. His lips creased into a smile, the bitter taste of copper and rust let informed him that blood was gushing from his mouth, too. "Th.." His lungs felt like they'd been burned, and he spluttered blood with every wheeze while attempting speech. "This is...Emperor....This is wh...Why you don't take b..Bounties, Merc...They never end...Worth shit.."

It wasn't really the bounty, though. Sure the sirens would've probably killed him be he likely would've escaped that. It sure wasn't Glint he was complaining about, that man probably saved him by accident, those weird soldiers too. No, it was the bomb. His new "buddy" Orka didn't really have a good internal clock. Couldn't keep seconds for shit, probably not great with rhythm either. There was no way they could've possibly made it out of the blast zone in time. In fact they hadn't.

They made it out of the immediate death zone, but when the futility of running dawned on Epathus they were still in a lot of danger, and running wasn't going to change that. He'd turned around and erected the best Telekinetic shield he could, pouring every inch of focus and will into it. It was enough to stave off the outer force of the blast that otherwise would've killed them both, although in the end. The strain of it, of how intense and haphazard it was, just might've killed him after all.

Frankly it was a miracle he didn't pop every vessel in his brain. "We..ll...Now what..Smart guy? I think I...I think....I'm just gunna la..y...Here, and...Ya know...Blee..d..O...ut.."

While the Legionaries were busy butchering the Sirens, the Plasma Bomb went of causing the nearby Legionaries to be ripped apart from the blast. The ones further away from the bomb only suffered less major injuries. However when the bomb exploded that meant that there were no more enemies to fight.

The remaining Legionaries that survived the blast began fight among themselves again, unfazed by the bomb that went off or the death of their fellow allies. But one figure, Falkenwrath stared at the ship in the sky. There were survivors from the battle and he was going to get them one day. But before he could finish thinking, he leaned to the side to avoid a Legionnaire who tried to bring his sword down on him and in return Falkenwrath cut him down in one swipe.

Orka looked back at Epathus, "I'm getting on that ship before anyone else shows up to ruin my party." He told him, "You're welcome to die here or help me take it through either force or bribery." He continued, waving his arms to flag down the ship.

"I'm getting life forms on my HUD. What's the plan?" The ship's pilot asked, "Take the ship down. Let's see what in the name of God is going on." Andarta answered.

"Turning on artificial gravity in... three. Two. Now. You can stand." The pilot said, his words prompting Andarta to quickly unbuckle herself and stand. The woman stripped off the robes she wore to reveal her sleek dark blue armor and two handguns holstered on her sides.

"Take this." Andarta said to Jordyn, extending her handgun to her. "There's an armored vest toward the back in a footlocker. Put it on and cover me."

Orka watched as the ship began to descend, his hand finding his pistol just in case the people on the ship weren't friendly.

Jordyn hesitated to unbuckle for a moment before she stood up, strangely away of the 'fakeness' of the ship's gravity. "I'll do my best." she murmured, accepting the gun before going to find that vest that Andarta mentioned. She was back before they reached the ground in their descent, checking over the handgun she'd been given to use.

Her retinal display scanned over the weapon as she turned it one way or another in her hand before she slipped out the magazine to check its capacity and slid it back in after a cursory count of the rounds it held. With a soft click the safety was undone and with another a the slide engaged and the gun primed. It seemed she knew how to use it, even if she was blinking a bit more than was normal, distracted by a display of the weapon's line of fire wherever she moved it within her vision.

Glint" Nil Sha'hem"

The explosion was large enough that glint felt the concussive force through the ground despite being nearly a mile away.
An impressive amount of firepower those guys had brought, wonder what on earth they had planned on doing. If there had been anyone left alive, he might have to sift through their brains and figure that out. Speaking of minds Was Epathus still alive and kicking? Sure enough stumbling like a sorority girl at a frat party Epathus was still up. Good , I kinda like that one alive.

Shifting his gaze glint counted the dead bodies , and the living corpses of what ever those things with swords had been and the numbers seemed to match up, granted some of those " bodies" had been no more than two right feet near one another or a pair of matching limbs. Granted there was going to be some margin of error when even the damned vehicle was nearly unidentifiable.
Glint's stomach soured a bit, ten to one that his target had been vaporized, he'd have to go down there and scan for fragments of her dna, or get lucky and find her head. They liked when you brought in the head, made a good show of " Yep, they dead." and made you look like a nut job.

Glint noticed one of the "dead" sirens starting to crawl away and promptly fired the last round he'd shoot for a bit. The figure , the trail of the round lanced over the figures back, it didn't stir after that.

Glint crawled away from his position to the location of his speeder bike , a small , sleek hover craft that could fit two people comfortably. The engine fired to life CCR's " Run through the Jungle" blared as the speakers flared to life. And with that he was racing towards the killzone. The shapeshifter frowned as he watched a ship grace the battle field as well...

Glint brass checked the battle rifle that was sitting across the front of his bike, should there be more things to kill, he'd happily oblige.
