Starring Lira in the face was a very tall raptorian creature. It had a frill of feathers lining its neck and had claws that were 20 inches long. It was also curious of her, not acting agressive. It however was getting way too close for comfort in its observation of her.

In its search of her its sheer weight was well enough to easily push her over. Its claws looked like they could tear a person to shreds with ease.

Shiny Gallimimus sprints off, startled by the boisterous activity.

Kassandra was worried that maybe her Dathasaur didn't hear her, having waited for what felt like an overly extended time. She knew however that it was simply grazing somewhere in the vast dangerous land. Probably enjoying its new abilities. Which was something that she should get into herself, enjoying some activities. But first, she needed food. Although she was quite fond of doing something akin to dining in somewhere, maybe even here at the hut; alas, she could not find any left over food in site. Hopi must be the type to eat everything at once because there weren't even hints of scraps.

What she did find, was remnants of activities here and there. She felt like joining in with the people and the locals. Much like when she first awakened. It would be cool to see some things that were inherent to the land. Where she was from, certainly there were interesting characters similar to the people she met a couple of days ago. She had another surge of pain hit here at that thought.

"Ow." She rubbed her temples once more. She'd need to figure out her dream sooner rather than later. Clearly something was affecting her memories and triggering her. That needed to be addressed.

The ground would begin to shake with the steps of her mount, Dath. He seemed to be moving quite slowly for a being that has evolved to be her mount. But maybe he was tired from all the movement and grazing beforehand.

Kassandra decided it was time to seek out a place to go and have a bite. Surely there was something to catch. Maybe fish? That will do, she didn't need much. Maybe another monster or creature? The place seemed beautifully dangerous, nothing that posed a threat to her, but she was not terribly aware of the creatures in the land, so best to seek out something close to tradition...or find Hopi. She Jumped several dozen feet into the air to land on the enormous Dathasaur.

"Lets find me some food Dath, onward!" She said excitedly. Time for some hunting.

The mighty Dathosaur would lumber forward at her command, such heavy mass could only heft forth at its own pace. Near the center of the valley was a large lake full of fish, though she wouldn't be alone in her search for food. Alongside her were some ceratopsians who came for a drink and some small spinosaurs who were also searching the water for fish.

Eclipses were not things entirely unknown to travelers here. What was unknown was for an object to erupt in the way of the sun. A colorful lensed corona of light as some huge angular structure bearing some gold marker forced its way into reality. An ominous hole in space as the corona smoothed, then quelled, then vanished entirely. Light it distorted by arrival now properly scattered about its substance. However, it left glittering trails in the sky as some object detonated upon impact with the atmosphere. glittering trails shot in every direction as trails of fire ceased. The rocks slowed by some sap of the energy from their own momentum. While a gleaming shard of geode thrown might cause injury to unfortunate smaller souls in just the wrong place the larger creatures here likely suffered easily the hail of slow rocks upon this valley. The noise a cacophonous one regardless as pebbles and small stones pelt the earth and everything nearby.

The obelisk remained though it did nothing more the valley its only accidental pelting. A silent visitor leaving the land only slightly darker as its alignment passed the valley by and the sky consumed its unlit form in color. Several fireflies appear with their attention to zot and dither about the pelted landscape. Though they do little but inquisitively circle where concretion shards now lay. They slowly ebbed at piles of stony detritus at the bottom of hills largely absent any fire and destruction.

Kassandra Tierdath was out hunting, filleting and eating fish for a few hours. Alongside Dath, she was quite content. It was a tedious process that absolutely no one probably would want to participate in. But if someone were to join her efforts next time, surely it would make for greater excitement. At the current moment however, she was more concerned with the idea of getting something done about her memory. She didn't want to leave the land quite yet, but it would make for a better experience that dramatically going into magic induced comas for her memory recovery. That would be annoying and rather novel if not a little cliche.

What she needed now was an outlet, maybe some exploration of the area might due? Who knows, she make even run into more strangers in these lands. Certainly seemed to be and active place for foreigners.

"What do you think Dath? You ready to explore and show me what this land has to offer?"

The Dathosaur let out an echoing bellow at her words, having been resting by the lake. It raises up onto its feet so that it towered over everything that lived in the area. Suddenly, the ground began thumping in a rythmic pattern. Thump, thump, thump. It was the characteristic sound of something big and heavy walking, very large footsteps. Just around the hill was the source of the footsteps, a mighty tyrannosaur unlike any seen. It had an odd limp and a healed yet mangled right arm. This beast was the titan of the land to whom every living being answered to. It came up to just short of Dath's head in size.

Kassandra Tierdath looked up in amazement at the new creature. She was fiddling around with making sure to pack everything back into her spatial ring of storage. It was a nice one, given to her by her tribe for travel. Most of what was in there currently were tools necessary for her survival in the wild. She was excited to use something else more useful than cooking utensils. That was usually something her crew would handle. Not her...Wait...what crew? Who was she with to have that wayward thought?

Well, right at this thought, she encountered a large creature of amazing size and power. It seemed similar to Dath in quality. What a showcase! My goddess though, it seemed to be injured.

Kassandra leaped on top of Dath's head, like always, to be able to see and be somewhere comfortable and advantageous. She was prepared for a fight, but would rather if things were not always so violent. This was nature however, and since she was an apex creature herself, she knew very well the feeling of being pushed into a corner through injury. It could and WILL make you rather defensive. So Kassy would bellow out, vibrating the air with mana once more to speak to the creature.

"Are you ok great beast? Do you need healing?"

The titan looked directly at Kassandra, responding to her mana speech. It made an odd rumbling noise in its throat that Dath would respond to. In response to this call the Dathosaur would move closer without her command. Finally she would be face to face with this beast, a wise look in its eye that conveyed all of its thoughts without a single word needing to be spoken. It was clear the titan was nearing the end of its life, its injuries not helping with that fact.

Kassandra was well aware of nature. Sure knew very well that things could be bitter and terrifyingly beautiful when experience death; even without the constant machinations of fate to intervene for balance in life. This was the truth of nature, chaos and order played a balancing act in it's own encompassing ways. She could see the entirety of power, and reverence being leaked out of the titan. Moving into the air in a mist of beautiful greens, reds and black - with her eyes - she saw the connecting mana forces of nature playing its roll intimately. Kassy knew the end. Even if she could not help, even if the expression of the creature she was snout to body with, was a creature she FELT she could help. But her desire to meant nothing.

She felt hopeless. Sadness washing over in waves of gushing darts, fangs and pricks. It was an annoyingly random and unwanted experience of sudden immersion. She crumbled to one knee. Respecting the great dino, sure. But really she was respecting the feelings of tangible sadness and pain. This was maddening, for she was used to this experience. The passing of respectable apex monsters, creatures, people, whole entire civilizations even! This, she has seen. But none made her feel as she did now. Everything about this was difficult to process and keep clear for her. But she struggled against the ocean of emotions within anyways.

Making matters worse, she knew that these feeling weren't her own...they were Dath's. He was clearly witnessing something enormous. He was experiencing a once in a lifetime event. Something connecting him to the universe in a profound way was also tapping into Kassandra's wisdom and connection to nature. All of a sudden she felt a sudden SNAP! She screech slightly as she felt an even fiercer jolt of pain. Grabbing her entire head, she cringed and gritted her teeth.

Everything was clicking into place for her: the moment, Dath, this creature. But more importantly, her memories. The amnesia of confusion was clearing up in chunks, and the experience of mental and spiritual connection to Dath was helping her to work through it. What a painful and bittersweet moment of existential understanding through personal resonance this was!

Kassandra felt the pain ebbing and flowing. Yet she just winced through it, she was becoming overwhelmed with Dath's feelings more than the spikes of pain. She forced her gaze back up, at the Dino. Shivering with her face soaked in various liquids, from tears to sweat. She watched and waited for whatever came next. The world was spinning in colors and smells, a beautiful kaleidoscope of memories dashed with exhausting feelings, flashing and overlapping in her vision and senses. She had tears streaming now. She gripped hard onto her mount, bracing and holding on to reality however she could.
